  1. Loyalty is key! Billy Sanders strives for it, and that's exactly what the Original Covenant Ballas are to him! The hood has increased in popularity over the last months with Ballas, Jackboyz and 6ix7even. Parties every weekend, dice games and fights being thrown almost every night now. This outburst of popularity brought the attention of the Russian Mob. Billy Sanders met with some of them to discuss his pricing and the hustle was on... It was a late afternoon, the sun had just fallen behind the sea and the noise of constant traffic started to settle. Billy had Kevin Craft place an order for some drug equipment to be shipped in from the cartel. Both Ballas went up to collect the drop using Billy’s Chino Custom and that's when a challenge hit them. Driving up the off-road track, the Chino’s wheels got stuck in some thick mud. So, they both stepped out and went on foot. With the drop seconds from landing, Billy feared it was open to being compromised. Upon arriving, everything went smoothly, the drop was secured, taken back down to the Chino and loaded up without interruption. Later on, Billy met back with the same Russians and exchanged the goods for a profitable amount of cash. After trust was built Billy had Bishop place an order of acid for them, which they picked up. A couple days later, another Russian introduced himself to Billy and even more workbenches were ordered for them. It was just hustle after hustle for Billy Sanders... A week later, Russians decided to cut the middleman (Billy) out and order straight from Cartel themselves, but this wouldn't discourage Billy in the slightest. He now focuses on Los Santos Drift, Bloods and The Firm for his gunrunning and drug operations. Following his success, It was time to celebrate! Billy Sanders met with his good friend from the Rooks, Kaito Owen, for a few beers before entering the night club. They ended up sneaking in with 6ix7even members without paying a dime. It was a notoriously wild night for the pair, full of drugs and women!!
  2. Billy Sanders' father Xavier Sanders spent his whole life in Grove repping purple through his later years there. That was until he received the death penalty in 1988 for multiple aggravated murders. Billy looks up to Xavier, he saw him as an admirable man who upheld respect for his mother although she was unfaithful. Xavier would never lay his hands on a women no matter the situation. As for her lovers… Well, let's just say they won’t be making that mistake again! Years later Billy found out his mother had been working with the DEA and so he ran away from home leaving Grove behind. Without his father to guide him and no mother, he didn’t become a member of OCB straight away. Instead he landed himself in Bolingbroke Penitentiary where he met Tom Winters who invited him to join Dojin-Kai. In the early days of Dojin-Kai, member count was low and main operations was just money making for the treasury. After a month Billy was no longer interested and left to join his friend Jack in The Shelbys to help fight in the war against Skulls. After their success, Shelbys' grew large and ended up siding with Dojin and WCA against The Council. This was the downfall of The Shelbys and left Billy without a place to call home with the majority of his friends dead. A whole year later he returned back to Grove St and met Omar Fury and Kush from 6ix7even.. Ballas and 6ix7even were having boxing matches against each other. Billy Sanders went up against one of Kush’s strongest members, bets from both gangs were thrown in and then they were off. Thousands of dollars were at stake, Billy knew he had to impress his new high command. Halfway through the fight, he blocked a punch and threw his opposition onto the pavement thinking this would finish him off. To everyone's surprise, the 6ix7even member got straight back up again. Billy took punch after punch until he collapsed down to the ground concussed. The rest of the Balla's although losing bets were still proud. Later that week we all went over to Jamestown for a BBQ with 6ix7even and although PD kept making appearances the event was a great success. Even JackBoyz got involved and all 3 gangs got on very well with each other. Billy Sanders hopes to keep on proving himself to the rest of the Balla's to rank-up and dive into the heart of their operations. He can now officially call Grove his home!
  3. Then this should stay banned, and robberies against people who are out to kill you and have previously killed your allies (longer than 3 hours ago) should be allowed in areas not highly public. You ready my suggestion wrong : (
  4. Lol DM rights as you know last 3hours, I mentioned in my example it was 'Last week' not 2 hours ago. Enough RP reason doesn't give you rights to public robbery, DM rights does but this is a 3hour cap. Anything past that is non-rp which I think is wrong. You think my suggestion is to get rid of player theft rules, your wrong. I never said robberies should be conducted in "highly" public areas, they shouldn't. But every street is treated as public, whether it be night or day its treated the same, whether its in del perro or in strawberry its treated the same. I believe this shouldn't be the case. Player theft Rules should be slackened, there doesn't always have to be one extreme to another. Don't think of it like that. My main argument is the rules in place counts robberies against enemies to be "random" therefore non-rp although there is a huge amount of prior hostile RP. Robbing someone who killed your friends yesterday at night on a general street corner isn't allowed. Yes also robbing someone at pier isn't allowed and that can stay. I'll reiterate, I'm not suggesting this rule to be removed, just slackened. You get scammed 300k, you see the scammer a couple days later and will receive non-rp for robbing them at night on a street corner away from any landmark. Every street is public, otherwise it wouldn't be a street. Not everywhere is highly public and the places that aren't should allow enemy gangs to rob each other in.
  5. Take gang lores into consideration. Like yourself for example, as a high end faction we can't use chopshops. When it comes down to it, there are few areas you can rob gang rivals. If you attempt to do such things in labs, you shout demands with intention to kill and normally or always results in a giant fight between 2 or more gangs. This is very different to what I'm opposing. Example of what I want and what you feel is non-rp; You see a rival who you witnessed kill your family last week, and roll up on them at 4am walking home. In real life, mafias and such would drive by kill these members without even stepping out the vehicle. Of-course as this is a game it would make it un-fun for the person being shot which is why DM rules are created. So instead, a robbery would be nice.
  6. I completely agree, relaxing the rules to allow high RP robberies would be an amazing addition. Thanks for sharing your perspective. Relaxing the rules and possible player guide into robberies may improve them on the sever. I also don't agree with pulling up on someone you don't know and putting them under fear-rp getting there gun and driving off in a matter of minuets. In my opinion, a robbery is about financial gain, that's the purpose of it in real life. Also in real life, a criminal would attempt to rush a robbery as its realistic and gives less time to be caught and less time for the victim to think of any other way but to comply with whats said. Prior RP to robberies, planning and executions with handing out parts and positions should be the thing that needs extending and RP focus on.
  7. @HarvsThanks for commenting. I'll answer your questions. Yes, I believe public gun robberies are unrealistic. My point was not to argue to be realistic but to argue to have fun and more freedom. This is a game to have fun roleplay in, and to help with realism public robbery should be limited to night. As you said, people robbed GPSs and Masks from each other in the past, this I believe should fall under player theft rules. But you could be driving a rental fagio and come across a rival gang member and not be able to steal his sports car that can be chopped at 4am at night. My point is to slacken the rules where everyone is happy. Allowing more criminal RP on the streets BETWEEN GANGS only. I was under the impression that the issue was civilians and low level criminals would be constantly robbed creating an un-ejoyable experience which was why the rule came into play. My idea of slackening the player theft rule wouldn't change change this for those people.
  8. Allowing Night Time Public Theft Between Rival Gang Members! - My characters consist of both Legal and Illegal. I have hundreds of hours on both Civilian and Criminal RP on my different characters. - Reasoning Behind The Change: Player theft rules are introduced to stop constant robberies happening on random people in public. This ruins the fun for the person being robbed and discourages them to play as that's not the RP they want to be involved in, which is 100% fair. But for other players, that IS the RP they want. And so, we should allow those players (who want it) to rob each other in public. Basically, If you want to rob people you should also be open to being robbed. Realism: I believe that committing a RANDOM crime during the day in a popular area or at night in well lit wealthy areas is unrealistic but, I feel when night strikes it should be deemed realistic to rob rivals, this allows further criminal RP to happen outside a drug lab. With hatred for someone, the reward of just getting back at them is a good enough risk. Robbing Rivals In Public: Robbing a rival gang member outside a drug lab shouldn't be considered random and non-rp, there is clear motive to want to rob them - They're your rivals, they represent the gang that killed your friends and allies. If you engage yourself in a gang you have to be prepared for the IC consequences of being hit by rival gang members anywhere. Its not fun as a civilian to fear being robbed everywhere they go but if your not a civilian and in fact a violent gang member then having that fear is realistic, especially if alone at night. You previously chose to kill people, expect to be hunted by rivals everywhere. I think rival factions that continuously kill each other in drug labs should be able to rob each other at night in public areas. That is escalation enough and I think both parties would be in agreement OOC to accept RP of robbing each other publicly at night. (My interpretation of a rival gang isn't necessarily a gang you are at war with, it is a gang that you can't be diplomatic with. For example, they come into your drug lab with intent to fight you.) An Example Of What Is Not Allowed But Should Be: Goblins steal a shipment off of Irish killing some of their members. 2 days later, no diplomatic solution is applied and both gangs continue to be hostile towards each other. So one night an Irish member comes across a Goblin walking through the city and in retaliation robs them and quickly speeds off. Then the following night, Goblins retaliate and a few of their members rob a few Irish members and cycle continues. CHANGE: Make public robberies only apply to civilians who are not in rival gangs. Allow rival gangs to rob each other publicly at night without needing DM rights. This change won't effect civilians and non-gang affiliates! It would only allow rivals to rob each other making RP more fun for them. Smaller gangs, groups or small time criminals who don't hold down chop shops and labs should be treated like civilians. - People LOVE to RP as a criminal and rob people but player theft limits this. If both parties don't mind being robbed in public then I think it should be allowed! -
  9. RP also needs to be enjoyable and adding all these unnecessary limitations does nothing good for the server. Adding hundreds of rules for small things like this just makes it less fun, we are playing a game after all. You shouldn't have to continuously think of the rules and just enjoy the roleplay. In the real world, most people don't speed everywhere but in RP everyone does, so maybe you should think realistically and stop speeding 24/7. I personally think it should be a choice of the player if they want to roleplay extraordinarily heavily or not.
  10. I've been enjoying the last hour reading all your posts! Keep up the hard work! Well done guys, your smashing it!!
  11. -1 to this idea. Huge number conflicts have already gone out the window with the new join freq rules. This suggestion will bring a lot of OOC conflict, loads of reports and just unnecessary OOC tension and rule play between criminals. In real life situations from what I've seen, PD can swarm in with huge amounts of units on a single scene. They may not need this many but the situation could escalate to needing this and sending out PD in small numbers makes them vulnerable. NLR doesn't last hours and it doesn't prevent you from doing a different type of criminal activity. If you died in a lab you can still go to another lab, chopshop rob a store or bank. You can go back to HQ and have a party or some RP activities. You shouldn't need to set you timer on 30min and wait at MD. In the real life world, small gangs have a disadvantage. They should expect conflict if they go into someones lab and they should realistically stay low instead of 1week in thinking they should have the same chance as a faction that's been going for over a year, like Rooks. If there is a max 5, criminals will most definitely not find "more action on the field". Lets say there are 5 gangs all with 20 members online. You do the math and that's 100 criminals and only being able to go around in groups of 5 thats 20 groups attempting to do a criminal activity, do you know how many labs there are? You may as well have 20 gangs instead of 5. It would divide gangs and deprive the rest of members to joining in with the prime group of 5 that can RP. Factions have to stick to their lores and that limits them heavily in where they can go and so splitting the faction up into groups of 5 will mean only maybe 1 or 2 of those groups can actually get involved in crim RP and the rest will have to... what fish? With MD, there are sometimes dead zones of no calls for maybe 30-60min and when one comes additional units may arrive on scene for scene management. There will never be an extra unit on a scene with 1 or 2 patients if a call comes in and isn't answered. Scenes with 3+ require more as ambulances take 2 players max. In busy times calls can surprisingly come in every minuet and there can be 10min waits on patients due to lack of units and not because there are more than one on a scene. With PD/SD you think they should limit their units on "Large scale conflicts" such as shootouts, officers getting shot or kidnapped and go to calls of someones car being pick locked outside weazel news?

    The Rooks

A Game Of Golf David Disciple thought it was time to take a break from the mayhem of city. The Goblins have been trying to take full control of the drug industry with attempts to own every weed farm up north. For many months The Rooks have shown nothing but respect to all organisations in San Andreas, forming neutrality and agreements to help keep the piece. Knowledgeable gangs such as LFM, FSO, Irish, and Aztecas have respected these agreements therefore less bloodshed is spilled and gangs aren't loosing numbers. After LFM disbanded Goblins had no one else answer to, causing them to be careless of their members lives in attempts to bait Rooks into unnecessary shootouts. Over the last week Goblins have made several attempts to take Braddocks for themselves (Supposedly the only lab they don't own), this resulted in many injuries and deaths from both sides. Because of this David Disciple needed something to take his mind off things. So, he gathered his high command Frankie Valalero and Johnnie Everdeen and they all got into their golf gear and went down to the country club for a game! This also became a good time to discuss Johnnies new business in safety depository, as they putted holes across the course. Johnnie had recently appointed David the roll of security in his uprising business. Before the golf game David was given a tour of the facility he'd be working in. This ended in the main office where paper work and keys were given. Clients using the safety depository need to feel their belongings are well looked after which is why Johnnie has brought in so many security personnel. The Rooks golf game was a huge success, all 3 of them had a lot of fun talking business and having a good play at the same time. The game ended with David Disciples victory who hit the least shots! Golf Video and some RP photos:
  14. I think Balas point on this will greatly encourage stronger roleplay. Its clear factions wanting to become official and maintain official are putting in constant creative RP work to have imports. Maybe there should be rewards like this that are less powerful and can be given to newer or smaller factions to encourage them more? Its one big giant step to imports and maybe some added script along the way to benefit their RP will keep them encouraged to perform well.

    The Rooks

Family Is Key! Nothing comes above family, there is nothing more important. David Disciple truly loves each and every member of The Rooks. He will lay his life down to save any member, from Associate to Boss. It's evident that every member feels the same way due to how long the family has been running. Unlike all previous organisations, The Rooks are a family who's bonds can never be broken. A long time ago Rooks were physically broken, but spirits were not. They stuck together and pushed through. Now, Rooks are neutral and respected by every organisation in San Andreas. It was time to open up the doors to the family. High Command picked 2 of the most worthy prospects to be taken up to [REDACTED] for their evaluation. It was time to see if Juan Menez and Parosh Wayz have what it takes to join The Rooks. They both already qualify in regards to finance, experience and assets. That's not what this was about. This was a time where each member of the family can pick away at the prospects to find out exactly who they are and what they're motives are. Everyone has their own opinion on people, and what ever is said is to be taken constructively. Many Rooks can become defensive at this time, and rightly so. Rooks only want the best and most loyal. A good few family members including David Disciple although knowing their names, hadn't got to know them yet. This means everything said in the hour fully influences their vote. Both prospects discussed their time in Crimson Syndicate, this was how they came to know the Rooks. Diving deep into Juan Menezs' experiences in the city, he appeared to have had little to none. For example, not knowing the leader of Zetas, the most impactful cartel to ever hit LS. Furthermore there was a sense he lacked knowledge among current organisations. Most of the family saw this as a learning point and that he can learn as he goes where as others such as David Disciple felt Juans lack of knowledge wouldn't look good coming from a Rooks mouth. "The kid hadn't even committed a felony" David thought to himself. Moving on, Juan talked about loyalty and staying true until the end. David smiled at this moment, if the Rooks hadn't stayed loyal to each other in the past, they'd not be here today. Although Juan admitted to leaving his previous syndicate as most other members left. This left David confused, what happened to loyalty? David Disciple thought Parosh Wayz performed well during his questioning. Under high pressure, Parosh kept it together and was well spoken. Some members of the family felt his answers were fake and not truthful, they felt he gave them answers they wanted to hear. David Disciple begged to differ, if your going for a job interview are you going to tell them the correct answers although untruthful, or are you going to tell them the wrong ones and risk joining the family? If anything, it shows Parosh Wayz knows how to answer a question which is what Rooks need. Someone who knows what they're doing. In Davids opinion their are flaws in both prospects. Juan Menez flaws can be put to side due to the fact he's under a lot of stress, especially if joining The Rooks means as much as he claimed it did. Parosh Wayz made his main mistake before the evaluation even started. Upon being searched he was found with a body camera. What kind of a criminal carry's a camera, wouldn't this just incriminate himself and everyone around him? Both prospects were taken to the cliff edge, everyone knew it was voting time. David Disciple voted one yes and one no. When all votes were counted, they both received a majority vote of yes and were set on their final task before becoming a fully fledged Rook.

    The Rooks

And so another chapter has opened for David Disciple. Through all his hard work and dedication he has climbed up the ranks, becoming a Solider. Enforcer, Frankie Valalero called Davids private number telling him to come over to Del Perro for a chat. Duke, Randy Berkowitz was already there waiting on Davids arrival. Randy and Frankie were situated up on a balcony, looking over Del Perro pier when David pulled in on his Drag. David Disciple wasn't sure what was going to happen, had he done something wrong or messed something up? As David walked up to the balcony, the stairs began to get steeper and steeper. Every step he took felt like it was getting further and further away. Yes, he was nervous. THE ROOKs are Davids family, his life, his world. He never takes anything high command say or do lightly. So walking up to them for a "chat" had him overthinking. High command, Randy and Frankie had a little discussion with David before they broke the news to him that he would now be recognized as a Solider. David Disciple was honored. Although many members of the Family had a lot of disbelief in David when he joined, such as Randy, due to his past gang violence history. His time in the family had proven them all wrong, no longer was David Disciple a petty thief. He was now a high class established criminal. He was now a ROOK. It's almost been a week since David Disciples promotion to Soldier and operations haven't been smoother. THE ROOKs have also picked up the pace a lot recently. With multiple new prospects stepping up, numbers have been at a constant high, compared to the drought of activity they'd just been though. Braddocks farm is a place of operation, holding it down is imperative and no other group, gang or family has dared step up to try and hold it for themselves. A name has also been growing unintentionally in the streets of Los Santos for THE ROOKs for being notorious of ambushes. They've gained recognition for holding down Braddocks, although never declaring who they are, somehow people know. ROOKs are a very merciful family and no matter where or who your are, as long as you show respect, no harm will come to you. While holding down Braddocks, many "Randoms" come in looking to feed off ROOKs land, stealing their plants and using their table unannounced. And sometimes, because of this, a message needs to be sent. [REDACTED] entered their lab just a few days ago in hopes to take some weed away with him, upon being told to leave by an Associate he was disrespectful and so he was held up by soldiers who were setup in bushes. THE ROOKs decided to give [REDACTED] a taste of his own medicine, literally. David Disciple cooked up a gram of coke inside the shed while Harley Pavlovich forced him to smoke blunt after blunt. The goal was to put him on the edge of overdosing, which is the exact result they got. They then threw [REDACTED] out onto the streets, shaken and high. - Private Property -
  22. Great meeting all of you! I hope your faction does well, all the best!!

    The Rooks

David Disciple has now been an Official member of THE ROOKS family for almost 2 weeks. With ambitions to rank up, David is constantly proving himself to the rest of his family. After laying down his life to join, he became an 'associate'. This rank is challenged in many aspects but Davids ultimate goal has always been to defend his family. Above anything else. In the first week, David Disciple had helped with 2 shipments from high command. After [REDACTED] placed the order, they all went out to Paleto Forrest to retrieve the goods. They had multiple crates coming in and so everyone had to be prepared. David was not nervous, he had previous experience when he used to run the Los Santos Disciples, their dealers in AZTECAs would place orders in for them to pickup. After David Disciple success of helping High Command with 'Gun Running' [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] started putting in orders for only David, so he could pickup his own shipments single handedly. Mr. Disciple soon got into the swing of things, and became a gunrunner himself. Davids experience over the last 2 weeks has been very much soaked in, making him a very knowledgeable and smart thinking criminal. And with knowledge comes great power. David Disciples had been selling guns in Del Perro since the very beginning, his business goals are to expand his 'books' by taking on more wealthier clients. After building a trusted reputation with many smaller gangs and organisations, David began to bring in a secure income. Now he's only selling in bulk, excluding non-heavy weaponry. Time is precious and a Disciple will not waste that. David Disciples has to do what he can to prove himself as an Associate, already he has greatly built the treasury through the use of Gun running. On the side to this, he cooks class A drugs, both crack and cocaine. Everyday Mr. Disciple is growing marijuana in Braddocks, filling up multiple bags to either share with his fellow family members or take back to his lab to begin a lengthy cook. Towards the end of the day, is when he sells his product typically bringing in 10 influence, that ROOKS can use to gain more favors that allow the High Command to import more. "I have no other desire but to die defending my brothers and sisters, and no matter what happens, I will always be a Rook!" - David Disciple ((THIS POST IS STRICTLY OOC AND NOT TO BE USED IC))
