  3. PD/SD/other civilian/gov factions should also have handlers like the rest of the server/criminals do. I'd like to know why they don't and why their roleplay isn't monitored and critiqued. Bump
  4. I agree completely, this rule has single-handedly pushed nearly all the people I have met on the server away from the server or it has put them off criminal RP. I know personally that the biggest gangs and their members on the server no longer play/have disbanded and this rule was a major part of it. It has reduced to people spamming OOC and made the criminal aspect of the server not fun at all. The server has clearly pushed for keeping stuff IC and not dwell into OOC much, but this is a step in the wrong direction as criminals cannot operate and can no longer remain IC. It only benefits a select few people on the server such as civilians, because it is easier for them to put a report up and complain OOC, rather than deal with it IC. It affects more than 150/200 people (5 gangs with 40 members) on a day to day basis. How many civilians are there on the server on a daily basis? I doubt that the number it adds up to is anywhere close to the numbers criminals bring on the server, this rule benefits the minorities/newer players and not the people who can deal with it and the original players of the server. It must be adjusted/removed as it leads to nothing but ruleplay, the addition of it to the rulebook has allowed players to have an OOC get out of jail free card via the player reports, just because they don't want to get caught lacking due to their own foolishness. People will argue that it will just encourage more PvP on the server but you are kidding yourself if you think the PvP side of things is not a major thing on the server. If seniors think this then they can easily adjust the rule by adding in things such as "actual public places (motorways, parking lots, near PD)" or "known/clear criminals physically representing gang colours", etc. Unfortunately for us, this will become another PD vs Crim argument and another good suggestion will be brushed under the carpet. I doubt the seniors want to remove the rule but we can only hope...
  5. There was a suggestion made in the past where there were around 4 pages of the community agreeing with this but unfortunately it wasn't added.
  6. Currently you have to either frisk the injured/ask him to drag his guns to inventory/kill him to take weapons off people. make it so that it’s possible to take guns off injured without having to do this, I believe this is a quick fix as this was possible not long ago. this makes looting really difficult especially when you are outnumbered and need to get out fast and you can’t because of desync and the injured person not dying. This small change however will fix this.
  7. +1 If you will remove the radio talk then remove the /s too, basically the same thing.
  8. This is actually a good suggestion but how can you keep the NLR rule the same? This suggestion can't happen without scrapping the rule, one fight and the so called "war" would end in one fight, the new NLR rule and war rules literally contradict each other and are bad for criminal RP and is why no one has partaken in one since the first ever one which we were forced to partake in.
  9. Yes, cops on this server are taking snipers as their main weapon instead of SMG's/Carbines (due to the new gun inventory update) when going into close quarter fights which makes zero sense at all, this is not modern warfare and running around quick scoping people is just stupid, use the snipers properly or don't use them at all. Also remove the micro SMG as it makes no sense PD/SD using them, they are more a of street type of weapon and law enforcement in the real word certainly do not hang it out of their window and shoot it at the person evading. If we are pushing for more realism on this server which is clearly apparent, let's do it for PD as well.

Actively RP'ing against this faction and time and time again they show that they always keep things IC, unlike other groups who have issues going OOC. Keep it up and you guys will be official in no time.

    VDM Rule Change

-1. Current rule is fine. PD should never be easy to fight. Ramming one person ten times makes no RP sense also, get out of your car and fight or leave the situation, ramming should never be the answer.

    Poker UI Bug

Date and time (provide timezone): 05/03/2020 (GMT) Character name: Lester Davis Issue/bug you are reporting: Game shows you having pocket Aces when entering the table at the exact time the game starts. I think it is the default Pocket Aces which show when the game is loading, and it just overlays over your actual cards so you think you have pocket Aces. Expected behaviour: Join the table at the exact time the game starts, it will show the pocket Aces in your hand when you don't really have them. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: https://streamable.com/q880b #1: Join the table at the exact time the game starts. The game will now overlay your cards with the default pocket Aces.
  16. Well done guys!!!! Well deserved
  17. Well done guys you have come a long way
  18. Another good addition would be to not show the cards on the menu if someone folds. If someone wants to show the cards, they can just say what they had.
  19. This can be removed via GTA single player/online.
  20. very epic vatos
