  1. +1 with the weight changes; i believe vehicles and houses require scaling as we are basically stuck being unable to use our houses, or "deleting" tons of old stuff, to be able to use our stashes properly.
  2. If you feel harassed, you should reach out, or create a complaint to get the behavior rectified. I'm not sure how much can be done to control this behavior 100%, as I think that is explained by others in the thread. There are hundreds of people to interact with, try to avoid those who give you a hard time or make your experiences poor.
  3. perhaps you should make that clear to them as well.
  4. Where did she say criminals at all? The bias is unreal here. Are you guys under the impression that no one but criminals act creepy? If so, it shows how really out of touch you are with seeing social behavior on this server.
  5. now you're gonna bring up me clarifying something with you in DM's? Reefer, is this really who you are on a human level? My facts are not inconsistent, I've played crim with my group since I've started, we've all felt it. I'd appreciate if you were a bit more professional on a public platform.
  6. Yeah, if you say so. You either need to witness the negative action yourself, by HC; or an IA report needs to be written, as I mentioned. Countless actions are swept under the rug, or lost in translation because of the effort it requires for you guys to see it from our point of view. It's nice to see how objectively you see this, as you are turning this into a "hey you official factions are worse than us every time", glad to see how mature we can be at the top.
  7. There would also be FBI probings and officers being fired left and right for questionable behavior. You guy's are not angels by ANY means. This actually happened in my city well I was growing up: https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2009-oct-01-me-burbank-police1-story.html There is nothing to keep police officers in check past the "IA" system, which I can say I've personally have never written, even though I've dealt with these problems. At the end of the day officers words always trump a "criminals" on an IC level, and for me personally.. that's enough to deter me from trusting officers on any real level.
  8. What issue are you having? We set up our own radio channel, and upload our own music on a daily basis. It's working in full effect, perhaps we can help!
  9. very cool, look forward to seeing this develop!
  10. +1 I posted the initial suggestion for dynamic drug labs; I've been looking forward to the idea for a very long time.
  11. +1, very cool idea if supportable!
  12. Hey man, are you good? You seem to voice your opinion in an extremely condescending manner, and I wanted to give my 2c. I think this was more of a suggestion to help adjust policies in which allow you to use these barriers in extremely unrealistic manner, which these videos showcase. "you and your whole gang drive multi-million dollar super cars as your daily drivers" There are what, a handful of super cars? To claim an entire gang drives one is beyond ignorant, but you can continue to wear that. I am one of those people that own a super car as a criminal, and I can tell you I drive my drag more than my super. Most of the guys in our gang that drive a super as a daily driver, pretty much only work on their businesses. Yes at times we are involved with criminal activity with our cars, because that is what we're in at the time, but to think we drive these fairly unique super cars every time we leave our house, when they are so easily identifiable is simply your opinion, and not the actual reality occurring. So you're really saying that because PD is stronger IRL; that it's okay to take advantage of game mechanics as such? I doubt the barriers were implemented with the idea of brick walling vehicles. Thanks for actually seeing this objectively.
  13. I agree to an extent for sure, but I still think certain weapons being actively used don't entirely make sense; the micro will always bug me.
  14. I mentioned a firearm after probationary period, as officers receive department issued firearms, but there are many officers in the US that use their own firearms. To say no officer in the US has purchased their own firearm and used it in the line of duty is a bit silly. I never said heavy weapons don't exist, but they are not taken out in every routine stop, they are not slung around an officers back just because "it can be", they are also not carrying multiple large weapons, and in most situations you won't see these weapons being utilized in everyday scenarios. I'll always be behind the idea of a "load out" when you pick and choose equipment based on some sort of point system, to help encourage balance, versus having everything in your cruiser, if you're the appropriate rank. I don't think criminals should be stronger than PD by any means, I just think that adding a bit of realism to PD equipment makes more sense.
  15. This is pretty ignorant, in most states out of probationary period, officers are able to use whatever firearm they'd like, most commonly being their OWN. Ever wonder why police officers firearms vary so much in the US? Heavy weapons are few and far between (especially in California), and I can promise you an officer has never been issued a micro-uzi, in this country. Why is there no RP with gangs? We've dealt icly with snitches for PD, and it's made our lives very difficult; this is what "Investigative Bureau" is for, and these are the people "infiltrating" street gangs, not "fib/fbi" You say "criminals" poke the bear, but in my recent experience it's the absolute opposite; we're constantly harassed during "social / civilian" rp if we're "notable" criminals, especially with how the laws have changed and how easy it is to catch us on a charge with a simple "pat-down".

    Los Zetas

minor thread overhaul (layout changes) current state updated relationships updated PSA: Recruitment is done strictly ICly; please find us within the city for inquiries about becoming a Zeta.
  17. perhaps you should actually read my post, instead of just quoting to add a reply. I advise AGAINST moving the server.
  18. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to implement these into ECRP, but I came across these during some downtime and wanted to suggest the possibility of adding them into the server. I feel any light customization features add a reasonable quality of life. https://rage.mp/forums/topic/2330-ragemp-new-hairstyles/
  19. -1 I think suggesting such a massive increase in sentencing without anything to fill the current void that is "prison time" is incredibly irresponsible. DOC is still a minimalist faction, without a lot of the features initially mentioned. Things have already been made more difficult for your average criminal with licensing and such. Advocating that one spend a full "work day" inside prison, with very little to offer in that span of those hours is just very unreasonable to me. This isn't coming from the perspective of "oh I am a criminal", most will tell you prison still feels like an ooc punishment (most people simply afk prison, as there is no real consistent rp offered), especially with how often "random" charges are acquired. I think this change doesn't really make sense on any level, to the extent it's been suggested; I think more depth is required of prison before we get there.

You realize we don't ask anyone to become apart of our alliance, hasn't changed in maybe 5 months? Ignorance is bliss, but all good. Most of what I've heard about your "average large SAMP" gang is that they just ran around abusing bugs, and dm'ing all day, seems like a good time. Our supremacy is solidified by stuff like this; people literally asking for a crutch to catch up, over the fact that they cannot outright compete with a gang that has put in months and months of work and effort, in comparison to their 2-3 weeks of creating a "new" gang.

We don't go around robbing fishermen and farmers in the first place. We are one of the longest standing gangs, so clearly complacency isn't an issue. The council existed long before Vice was even created so I'm not sure where that came from. Are you aware that in almost every "war" we've played a major role in "fighting" without outside assistance, we didn't even utilize "joint frequencies" our allies have established in the past. Zeta's isn't a gang that "calls on others" to fight wars. Perhaps these new gangs should invest themselves in "criminal rp" and politics vs "how fast can we get a gun and shoot at the notable gangs". The council was literally created to police smaller gangs, from behaving like monsters.. and gangs that step out of line ultimately become targets. Ask the numerous other small gangs that exist in the city with zero problem from us. This is "multiple" small gangs, grouping up and trying to fight us. This isn't criminal RP.. this is people running around shooting for excitement. Majority of "new" gangs I've encountered are here to DM every chance they get, not create quality RP. The "deepest" criminal RP I've been apart of on this server is alongside these gangs that help makeup the "council". At the end of the day, time and time again we see it with the new smaller gangs that come; they expect to be on the same level as people who have developed their factions over the better half of a year and have an equal standing, versus taking the time to build something reasonable through RP means. Zetas started with 6 people in a back yard, when there were 5 other major gangs (20-30 members), we did not "start out" where we are. I can tell you, we didn't go the route you guys did to get here, and we did quite well. People go out of their way to target Zetas, and then are upset when we retaliate.
