  1. "the majority of players ,who have been on the server for months/years, are taking the shit end of the stick. The players that saved up over a period of months to buy a nice place are losing out tremendously" Sounds like a complaint to me
  2. The only thing I'm being negative about is the negative attitude you have about the new properties. Markets change, some people win some people lose no point trying to change the very nature of an economy. You say you aren't losing sleep over a 400k loss but you're here complaining - take your own advice and don't be so negative
  3. Do you think the devs should have found out the exact number of people that wanted property and added that exact amount? The only reason to be mad about the number they added is if you bought one early thinking you could make profit but got burned instead. Nothing but your own greed to blame
  4. This thread is hilarious, everyone splashed out thinking they'd be able to sell the properties on for profit now they're mad because the markets been flooded This type of thing happens in real life guys, there was demand for property, that demand was met and the market changed accordingly. Don't be mad just because you didn't win, learn from it and move on. Just like in real life, big money investments are never a sure thing, be smarter with your money if you don't want to get burned.
  5. Get a better name lads. Nothing wrong with copying the concept of Peaky Blinders IMO but at least try and use an original name. Other than that, great thread & good luck to you.
  6. As you can see from the reacts to my post I've triggered a few snowflakes from one of the gangs that doesn't understand this
  7. 10/10 thread, can see this one getting official It's so fucking nice to see a hood-based gang actually driving realistic cars that fit the RP
  8. Sorry if it's been asked before but I didn't see anyone else asking it in the thread. You're completely wrong though. Ever been to south central LA? You are 100% more likely to see someone from the hood riding in an impala than you are a supercar. Guaranteed.
  9. Really good thread, hope I run into you at some point. My only criticism is the cars, doesn't seem right for a Grove Street gang to be driving high end luxury and super cars. Where are the lowriders and quad bikes?
  10. Enormous +1 Don't understand why this was added in the first place, doesnt improve RP and just gives petty "hand up 5 seconds" crims something else to rob from civilians that are already fed up of being robbed
  11. Massive +1 The biggest +1 that I've ever +1'd I seriously can't stress enough how large this +1 is
  12. +1 but you guys are too hung up on the dildos, the real problem with the standard 3G is the "live laugh love" sign on the wall
  13. The black represents the dark abyss in which rival gang members will find themselves in. The greenrepresents money and marijuana and overall power. Never cringed so hard in my life 10/10
  14. That is more or less how paintball/airsoft works though, once you're shot you "respawn" by walking back to your base & you wait for the next round. +1
  15. Not experienced it with any official factions to be honest, most of them seem to do a good job of keeping RP fairly realistic. It's usually small gangs & lone criminals that take it too far. DCC changes its frequency several times a week on average, due to people taking it with no real RP reason to do so. Just boils down to "Got a radio? Give us the frequency so we can troll you" Like you said though there's nothing a script can do to fix that
  16. The argument everyone in here seems to be throwing up is invalid - it doesn't matter if there are ways to hide your radio frequency, the point the OP seems to be making is that this entire "getting other peoples radio frequencies" has become a central focus of criminal RP which, like he says, is unrealistic. Cant really +1 the idea though because it just boils down to bad RP rather than a broken mechanic, which unfortunately can't be prevented that easily.
  17. As indicated by Nbdy in this thread: The ability to utilise the mod options that should come with a minivan custom is not possible. So why then, is a minivan custom able to be sold in dealerships at all? It costs 50k more than the standard minivan, and the only thing that sets these 2 vehicles apart is that the custom has the capability to have hydraulics, liveries and interiors added. If the lack of these options is a feature and not a bug, then it doesn't make sense for these cars to be available for import. Same applies to any car that has a "custom" variant, eg. Primo, Chino. There's no reason for these cars to be sold to players if they can't get the options that should come with this type of vehicle.
  18. +1 to reworking the system to include a 'ck' option but would like to keep the option to have a name change. Perhaps have the name change option clear you of non-felony charges, but have an option for CK which forces you to give up a certain % of your assets (over 50% at least, maybe scale it up depending on how many charges you have) in order to clear felonies.
  19. Think the point he's making is that in real life you have a judicial system though, in ECRP the police act as judge jury & executioner - once you're accused & charged with something it's there forever.
  20. Here's some of the routine maintenance the custodial engineers have to undertake in order to keep the DCC fleet looking fresh: Replacing a broken headlight Polishing the roof light Scrubbing off a suspicious white stain from the back seats Good as new! Completing some stress tests on a potential future addition to the fleet (verdict: currently unsafe for public use)
  21. You just gave me an example. Check the official rules PDF, there's nothing about KOS not existing. I've also just given you the example about NCZ scamming also. Only thing the rule book says is "crimes are not allowed in an NCZ" but this isn't valid because some crimes are: such as scamming.
