Who is the suggestion for? - Medium to large sized organized gangs Why is the suggestion being made? - A way to reasonably bring back private labs, without letting people hide within their personal properties off the "overworld map" What are the pros and/or cons of the suggestion? - Pros: Brings back a system that allows players to set up a private lab Allows players the choice to invest in personal lab equipment and set it up, to avoid having to sit at public labs that everyone knows about Less metagaming/poor RP standards interactions from randoms and gangs rolling labs robbing anyone they see cause they have nothing better to do - Cons: dev work? So. How to make Private Labs a thing again, but without the issue of people buying up properties and hiding in them all day printing money? Simple solution. Allow overworld labs to be built with tables anywhere on the map. This would allow gangs to organize private cooking sessions, with a large investment in equipment, hidden somewhere on the map, but still accessible, not in a property. The basic concept is the same as a private chop shop. you can set that up anywhere, even though there are public chops. the same system should be available for making a private lab, setting up tables anywhere and running them. Private labs on the main map would offer a TON of new RP opportunities. A gang would have to set up, run, maintain and protect their private lab they've set up in some secluded area in their territory, or hidden somewhere on the far reaches of the map, just the same as private chops. For people that want to be thieves, it would increase their options and potential rewards, but also increase the difficulty of "rolling labs" as larger cooking operations will not be happening as often at public lab locations, they will be hidden, and would need to be searched for. Bringing in private labs could also be a justification to bring in private weed growing, allowing players to plant seeds anywhere on the map (that would make sense, like dirt/grass) so that entire drug productions can be done in hidden locations. What are other peoples thoughts on this topic?

This is not a bug. there's a way to re-obtain the scrap vehicle without having an officer un-impound it. Impounding the vehicle should not destroy it.

+1 having a actual camera is nice. bored of the same questions and stupid comments over and over when Weazel has to use snipers to do video work. just getting a functional camera in the server would be great

ECRP logo switches between locations all the time.

should stay in the bottom right with the rest of the stuff, it overlays the chat and covers up text. shouldn't go up there -
Territories available for capture should have easily definable borders so that players viewing the map can see where a territory starts and ends. Who is the suggestion for? - Tier 2+ factions and members within those factions Why is the suggestion being made? - to better show territories so that gangs can more easily pick and chose territories they want to capture, without guesswork and making easily avoidable mistakes What are the pros and/or cons of the suggestion? - Pros: easier territory management/taking so that gangs can claim specific territories that they want, rather than making it guesswork. - Cons: dev work? How should the suggestion be implemented? ad some sort of distinguishing border to indicate the size/shape/edge of each territory

Stop robbing private chops, instead do this

you're expecting most crim players to make use of more than two braincells and understand that immediate gratification isnt always the best choice, and more RP could be had if situations are handled differently. there's a large subset of crim players who are here not to RP, but play GTA online with extra steps. -
I'd buy the Terminus if its still available

The problem with the tax system is its just a basic jump up in tax rate, its not progressive. The system needs to be rebuilt to be a progressive tax rate. What is a progressive tax rate? say at 500k, you go from 10% tax to 20% tax. (idk the specific tax bracket increase points off the top of my head, so this is just an example) if you have $495,000, you'd get taxed $49,500 for 10%, leaving you with $445,500 if you have $505,000, you get taxed $101,000 for 20%, leaving you with $404,000 thats how the system works right now. once you hit a new tax bracket your actually making noticeably less money. that's not how taxes work in real life. if we had a progressive tax system, you'd get taxed 10% on the first $500k, then 20% on the 5k that went over, which would leave you with $454,000. obviously with how inflated the money is in game, the upper tax brackets should be increased, but switching to a progressive tax system would be a significant fix as well.

E.g. means example, it's not just those two options. Also keep in mind that even if you're not in an off-road designated vehicle, doesn't mean you have to strictly stick to marked roads. If you have no option you just make a path, as long as you're not scaling steep terrain/cliffs with non off-road vehicles. At least thats my take on the rule. You can't block areas where there is literally no other option, but there are many options in an out of labs, on foot, off-road, or up steep terrain if your vehicle is allowed to do so.

if you can see me, i should have the chance to see you. thats just basic game balance. if I cant see you cause you're outside of render distance for me due to the vehicle im using, but you're able to see me, thats a broken system and should be fixed. the argument about whats realistic or not generally isnt a great argument, but yes, helicopters and prop planes are very loud, and are easily hearable upwards of 4000-6000ft IRL. TBH Niobe is kinda nuts, and its actually quite exciting that some crims now have a small advantage over LEO, will be interesting to see how that plays out in the future. LEO will need to come up with new strategies to outsmart a Niobe driver with numbers and organization, rather than just outclass 95% of the vehicles available for purchase. Its a supercar that was available for 3 days for 250 euro. they're not going to be extremely common for LEO to deal with.
-
The use of it for any situation isnt really the problem, the scripted parts of it are though. its quite common for Air-1 to be outside of render distance for people evading, to the point they cant hear or know they're being followed by a helicopter, and then act accordingly. You can make sure to evade all ground units, but if Air-1 keeps far enough away they'll never reveal that you're still being directly watched and chased. the audio and render distance needs to be increased for the helicopters. the aim-bot lock-on camera tracking is a whole other issue too, but thats already been talked about quite a bit and LEO isnt willing to take a nerf.

Adding possibility of using /blockade bls for everyone with bls course
Demonmit1 replied to tigerpet15's topic in Archive
/panim medbag should be sufficient for BLS card holders RP. letting anyone use /blockade will be abused. -
Players should be able to seed and grow weed anywhere on the map (in the dirt on the ground) and have private grow operations. Players should also be able to place and run cooking tables anywhere on the map, removing the ability to place tables in instanced locations like RVs.

+1 its a good fix to solve the past abuse the system caused, but it needs to be increased just a bit so using a towtruck isnt such a pain in the ass

Date and time (provide timezone): 8/4/2024 - 10pm~ Character name: Billy Pappalardo Issue/bug you are reporting: Fully maxed Niobe vehicle was running just fine maxing out speeds at 240kph, after about an hour of sitting in a parking lot with no changes to modifications, will now only max out at 215kph Expected behavior: max speed for a Niobe hitting 240kph and not losing performance without changing anything to the vehicle mods Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbMwVRRZfHE Vehicle license plate number*: N/A

Change the locking / code system for safes and doors if you have successfully put in the correct code to a safe / keycode door, you should no longer have to type it in every time you need to unlock it again. so if you have a code to your own safe, you dont have to put in the code every single time to unlock it, you can just click the unlock button. you should only have to put the code in in the code on the lock changed.

or you know, use your brain and superior numbers to catch someone by cutting them off, or plan ahead if you so desperately want to win, rather than just shooting people.
