JB has a public notary department which if memory serves can ratify and, in the event of missed payments or defaults, can enforce penalties or repossessions. you would just need to find someone who has enough legal knowledge to draw up a contract and have JB look over it, have both parties sign it before a witness etc. i know that in the past lease agreements have been made using this system. what youre suggesting may take away from that RP, but it would undoubtably speed up the process.

QOL improvements for release from DOC and general Bus improvement
Quietthecutie replied to Cup's topic in Game Suggestions
I think the idea could work. the stops would need to have a menu to check though, to tell you if busses are running and what stop they most recently did, otherwise no ones gonna just sit around and wait for them on the hopes one is running. If im honest tho, DCC currently has one of the more active workforces. theres almost always a cabbie on. and at times they are literally queued up around the block at parking or the bank. -
This is a very interesting idea...who exactly would it be for? I feel like it would be very niche, everyone carries a phone on them, how many people keep a flaregun on their person just in case?

+1 be very down for this.

Yeah this has been the topic of much discussion in the past. consensus is its never gonna happen.

The prices are not realistic due to server inflation. this is also why you can earn 5-8k an hour easily on just a freelance job. Things cost more because people make more money, this is basic economics and if anything you could make an argument that prices should be increased.

Realistic Behavior after Crashes/Injuries
Quietthecutie replied to TheCactus's topic in Game Suggestions
+1 absolutely during a chase. people need to be more mindful of their characters capabilities which, after a serious car crash would be reduced to just barely consious. this goes for both LEOs and Crims Outside of chases/active situations i would say less so. this is GTA after all and the occasional fenderbender or straight up Tbone is inevitable in a city where no one acknowledges traffic lights. if we had to roleplay each of those out in their entierty LSEMS would be swarmed. -
Allow people to lock/unlock vehicle while carrying body
Quietthecutie replied to San Chh's topic in Game Suggestions
agreed, leave you less open to gremlins who wanna look in your car while youre busy running a downed person into pillbox. rply youd be quite capable of reaching into your pocket and clicking the fob for your car whilst having a body slung over your shoulders -
But could we do better? could we make it more accessible? raise awareness for it? i would imagine alot of event organisers and business owners wernt even aware it was a thing!

Again, my primary goal with this wouldn't be to advertise. it would be to plan. a recent event i was staffed for had to change its time 3 times to avoid clashing with other events. this could only be done on the day of the event and as a result, turnout suffered from it. with all due respect to WNN few people actually check that website frequently wheras the forums are checked daily by a lot of players. i think this is where we should be placing any kind of planning calandar. it would be an OOC resource in the name of improving RP ops for the whole of the city.

This is where we need to concede that this is infact, a videogame. whilst we try to base our RP to be as IRL as possible, fact is that criminals run around in BFs and Kamachos almost exclusively so that when they evade, they can go offroad. The Scout is the most common PD/SD cruiser and a large part of the reasoning behind it is to keep up with such vehicles and be able to follow them offroad. its also one of the most "inoffensive" looking off road vehicles. it would look very wrong if LEOs constantly drove round in kamachos which are a civilian model of a millspec vehicle. we would look like an authoritarian dictatorship (imagine...) Also, handy list of all accepted off road vehicles for those interested:

this is a horrendous and disappointing reaction to what are very good counterpoints being made. you seem to feel that a crim org who have an agenda other than holding labs and basically avoiding cops is a bad thing, when in reality it diversifies RP ops, makes things more interesting and allows for creativity. they don't do this stuff because its easy, they do it because its fun, different and challenging even though its often at their expense. Yes, some orgs are anarchy based. that's their entire identity. And whilst yes, in reality, this would result in local law squeezing the life out of them. this is a RP server. they are providing interesting RP ops and you basically OOCly hitting them with thinly veiled threats only reveals a win more mentality and not a good RP approach. Please calm down and stop this vendetta against people who are just trying to enjoy a RP server by RPing their character. seriously, I expected better from you.

-1. If people cant understand the ramifications of their RP in heavily policed, public areas that's on them, and they should be reported appropriately. this is an RP issue, not a server rules issue, and i find the argument that the community "cant be trusted." to be somewhat condescending. We find ourselves in a world where up to 4 police cruisers will pull up for something as little as a standard traffic stop. if LEOs end up having further ops due to recently opened NCZs I do not see this as a bad thing. just slapping a fat "no fun allowed." sticker on certain areas of the map for the sake of LEO convenience only serves to limit RP ops for those of us who understand how to do it right. I understand that the recent change in NCZs has resulted in some incidents that scriptly would not be feasible and in the short term, an increase in reports. but, In time, people will learn how to do this correctly without handholding. blanket banning these Ops is a short minded and incorrect step backwards.

Remove Player IDs from showing above heads
Quietthecutie replied to Eliza's topic in Game Suggestions
Its true. Once you see that number over someones head thats how you remember them until you have a chance to alias them, even if you dont intend to metagame its right there staring at you, encouraging you to draw some ic parallel to id them rply. My question would be if we were to do this, how would we identify unknown/masked players in the event of say, a report? Or text chat? If they move outside our vision range we wouldnt be able to? Or am i missing something here... -
already a suggestion.

Every ban appeal is taken on a case by case basis. what you did, the severity of it, how it affected other players, your previous conduct, how long you have been banned and other factors are all taken into account, as well as how much effort you put into your appeal. typically ban evasion is not looked upon favourably but if you want back into the server you need to start discussions with the people who make those decisions and that starts with an appeal.

this is also a +1. atm theres very little incentive to buy a truck of your own for the truck job apart from a marginal increase in speed.
