Something they'd make, build from the ground up. It began first when Kai DeVito came back from a long visit back to his hometown where during his stay, he was given an offer he wouldn't be able to refuse, though he was going to need help from someone he trusted. The idea was simple, a mob street gang with connections to Kai's town brought to Los Santos, ran by Kai, but he knew he couldn't do this alone. The day arrived, Kai packed his bag and as he was about to leave, he texted Cleetus. "I'm coming back. We need to talk." With those words, Kai left on his way back to Los Santos. When he arrived, him and Cleetus had a meeting, talking things over and checking if they'd be able to do it. After many hours of thinking and making sure they'd be able to do so, they agreed. "Lets do it", as they wrote down their name and picked their colours, ready to get their name out. To begin, they still needed to set up meetings with the existing organisations in the city to not step on any feet with their arrival. They had much to do in such little time, but they knew they'd be able to do it. Boss (Kai DeVito) This is the person who will, together with the Underboss run the gang's operation. They will be the one at the top of the food chain, even though they work together with the Underboss they will hold all of the power and make the final decisions. Underboss (Cleetus Walker) This person will be the Boss' right hand man, helping them with anything they ask and straightening out any of the lower ranks if they were to strike out of order. They work directly with the Overseers as well, making sure that everyone has something to do. Overseer These people will be the ones keeping the law within the ranks, making sure the Enforcers, Soldiers & Associates are kept in line. These are very trusted members of the Mob. Enforcer This rank is for the people that have proven themselves during their time as a Soldier and have shown their upmost loyalty towards the Mob and their friends. The Enforcers will also be trusted with showing the Soldiers & the Associates how the Mob does things. OG (Original Gangster) The trusted and well known members of the gang. Whilst not having specific responsibilities as an Enforcer does, they have the respect of both the higher ranks and below. Soldier The Soldiers are the people who have passed their time as an Associate and have shown themselves to be able fighters. Associate Associates are what we call the newcomers to the Mob, they've been picked for recruitment and are now under the view of the Enforcers & the Overseers to see if they are the right fit in the gang. 1. To organise our structure, ideas and establish our position in the city. 2. Securing our name and our yellow colour. 3. Continue to meet existing organisations for diplomatic friendships and alliances where suitable. 4. Recruit new members of quality over quantity. 5. Kai grew up in the streets of London with a close link to his Italian heritage with family constantly visiting from Italy and America. His morals and steadfast principles ingrained from his father and uncles who he looked up to to a great degree. Whilst his mother often tried to steer Kai clear from any criminal activity at a young age, trouble would often find its way into his daily schedule. His father wasn't the best influence along with his uncles in his mother's eyes which would often be the topic of discussion around the dinner table, but Kai didn't mind. At the age of 22, Kai was completing his education in Business & Management when he had an opportunity in America to move in with his family in Los Santos, America. This concerned Kai's mother but his father managed to smooth things out as long as Kai promised to behave. Upon reaching Los Santos, Kai settled quickly in his new life. At first he tried to stay away from any criminal activity as he promised, taking standard jobs, working for his family and Weazel but it didn't sit right. The temptation became too strong and after a visit from some family in Italy and a bad experience with some corrupt police officers, Kai had had enough and quit the civilian life. Kai, and his close friend Cleetus Walker met up, discussing the prospect of creating something new to build up. Something that would never end no matter the climate. From here, the Southside Mob was formed on the streets near his home with eyes forward to the future. Introducing: Cleetus Walker (Underboss) Cleetus Walker, Born in Antwerp, Belgium, was moved and raised by his father and mother in the state of Alabama, America by an American father and a Belgian mother. Cleetus was raised there on a homestead farm where he and his brother Cassidy both were being groomed into a life of working on the farm and nothing else. Though, Cleetus and his brother dreamt of something bigger, which, at the age of 23 actually happened when him and his brother had finally saved up enough money to buy one way tickets to the city of Los Santos. Though, once they got here, they immediately ran into some financial trouble, seeing how very expensive this city is and watching it eat people alive day by day. The brothers came up with a quick plan to get some easy cash, by robbing those who they knew most about, farmers. After many weeks of attempts to this with, quite the little income, and getting caught a few times, Cassidy had enough, and took the money they had saved up and bought a ticket back to Alabama, giving up on their dream. With now nothing and no-one left, Cleetus was left behind to pick himself up, which, he did with great effort. Cleetus' life looked quite good, though, drama and hardship always seemed to come for him, first for his jobs, then to his love life, Cleetus was left alone once again after a hard divorce that left him in a declining spiral which only went down and down, finding himself back on the path he had first gotten himself into when he came into the city. One that was unexpected. The pair grabbed their pistols, with Cleetus peeking outside the window to see a man outside, he did not recognise him. Kai was already at the door, slowly opening the door with his pistol hidden behind him, before taking his finger off the trigger upon seeing the man's face. The man was Damon, Kai's brother. He had heard that Kai had arrived back in the city and that something was in the works and he wanted in. The three men talked for hours, explaining the plans and the vision that was unfolding. Damon was a trusted member of Kai's family and so he was welcomed into the Mob. This marks the first notable addition to the Southside Mob. Kai Posted July 4, 2020 Report Share Posted July 4, 2020 (edited) Convening with old friends, new friends, or enemies? The scene around Los Santos is fragile, and now even more volatile than ever. With the changing winds in criminal activity, new battle lines are being drawn up, sides being taken and many criminal organisations are keen to feast on the carcass that is, or was, Los Zetas in an attempt to take their place, or to exploit The Council's weakness of one less gang in their ranks. Murdablock along with their many allies, now look to overthrow The Council, attempting to take their place at the head of the table in Los Santos and it's roots of criminal activity. Both sides of conflict have many numbers behind them, and with much blood to be spilled, and profit to be made both now and in the future, it is time for the Southside Mob to pick a side. The Southside Mob, after being invited to help Murdablock and their allies by Murdablock themselves, decided to take a careful look at their options. Being a new gang on the scene, these early decisions could prove pivotal and would be dangerous if taken lightly. The wrong decision could mean the end for the Southside Mob. The decision ahead would shape the Mob's future, not just in their relationships, but in their position in the city as a whole. With friends on both sides, the choice is not an easy one, and not one that could be instantly made without consideration. Kai DeVito, already has an opinion. One that he is certain of in terms of which side he will fall on, however he is not one to drag his crew in without the thought it deserves. In an effort for information, Kai reached out to his friends and acquaintances in Los Aztecas, who are of course on the side of The Council at this moment in time. The two organisations arranged a meeting. Kai brought his brother, Damon DeVito and his close friend, Valentine. He wanted to see where things lied, and more importantly, what was really happening behind the scenes. The meeting would last a while, exchanging pleasantries before getting down to business. Kai already knew which side he would fall, but a discussion was needed. Hearing about who may be winning, from both sides of the war is of great interest. Of course both sides may consider themselves to be coming out on top this early on, but you can usually see in their eyes as to the truth in it. This was Kai's main goal. The Southside Mob have no interest in only joining the winners, but to have his family put their lives on the line, it is important nonetheless. After a while, the two organisations parted ways, having discussed multiple topics at length. With the Southside Mob now with more information to aid their decision. Kai Posted July 5, 2020 Report Share Posted July 5, 2020 (edited) The aftermath, and the other side of the coin Today, another meeting has taken place. This time, between Southside Mob and Murdablock. With the war with The Council still ongoing, a member of Murdablock reaches out to Kai for a meeting. They wanted to know where we stood, what we wanted to do, and more importantly, who we would be helping. For now, Murdablock are not wearing their own colours, attempting to lay low for now. By now, the war has quietened, with an almost eerie atmosphere descending onto Los Santos. It is the second notable day of the fights and the initial explosion to mark the beginning of the war has passed. A long night of gunfire, sirens and screeching tires now turns to silent streets, quietly patrolling pigs and the occasional car chase flashing red and blue, and this time, that doesn't mean the police. There are whispers of plans, needs and the tide of war already. Both civilians and criminals alike have the war on their lips, regardless of how much they know about what is going down. Everyone wants to know who is winning, who is taking part and why this has happened. The person meeting Kai was Lulu. Someone Kai had talked to before. They were interested in gauging who we supported. The answer was not that simple, and it was not ready to be given out. Kai is soon to discuss things further with Cleetus, and with so many things going on, the Southside Mob did not want to yet disclose their position to anyone. Lulu and Kai talked about how the war was going, what their short term plans were as well as what may be needed. It was of great interest to know where Murdablock stood and what the next sunrise may bring. The two exchanged a few phone numbers for any future communication.
