Recommended Posts

Some additions, modifications and suggestions of the many /ames we have or don't have we could use.

    • O - "/ame maneuver the <door name>."

  • OTHER
    • /cuff - "/ame secures <name/ID> wrists behind their back."
    • /uncuff - "/ame lossens the cuffs from <name/ID>." (loosen for RP universality)

    • MD Spawn (death) - "/me awakes from the hospital unsure of what happened."

I know there are a ton more I can't think of right this second. Add your own below and I'll add it to the list!

Things that have clear visual indications of what's happening, don't usually need an '/ame'.

I think you made a typo at the engine off part 🙂

for Newsagency and Mechanic I sometimes already use a /me for this, but I rather see a phone number added for those like DCC, PD/MD have instead of an ame pretending to call a number.

for the rest I like the idea. I also once said that /voicereset should have an ame "takes a cough drop", but maybe that's a bit too much xD

also maybe ame's for opening vehicle doors/trunks, getting on duty and refueling?

Yep, fixed, thanks!

Agreed, news and mechanics should have phone numbers, but this would give a quick and easy development fix.

Not a huge fan of the whole cough drop thing, but I like the idea.

I thought of the doors one, but not sure how that could be coded. I wonder if vehicles could have their own ame. If so, that whole thing could be expanded on and respond to who opens or interacts with the vehicle.

BODIES

  • /carrybody - "/ame lifts the body."
  • /dropbody - "/ame puts down the body."
  • /storebody - "/ame stores the body."

+1 overall,

The above section would solve the common powergaming issue that exists with moving bodies. If they are dead/injured it is highly unlikely they are in a state to resist, essentially making the "/do success?" useless.

TOOLS

  • /voicereset - "/ame clears their throat."

This is perfect.

We could use this so people don’t get ban for making Powergame

Massive +1 as sometimes you don’t have time to do /me picks up body

Another one that jumps to mind for the mechanic side is that when you /checkparkingpay the automatic /ame only shows up if the vehicle has a ticket of any form.   If there's no parking pay at all then no /ame is shown

ADDED - /checkparkingpay - "/ame checks the windshield for parking."

and a few others.

These commands SHOULD still have timers, but that's a different suggestion already.

These /ame's aren't intended to skip /me /do's only provide a little bit more to an action especially actions that don't have physical animations or clear indications of what you're doing as well as some universality and rewording..

The ability to set your own auto /ame for different commands would be nice, and it would let you add more character to your... character

Hmm interesting idea.

/<command>ame <what you want it to say>.

Very good suggestion +1. Also the part of /carrybody will be so helpful during the shootout. I can understand how people need to stop and RP that, but stopping during and active shootout gives advantage to the other party since typing will take a while + the /do of the injured individual could lead to your death for no reason
