God forbid there are consequences to driving an expensive and fast car recklessly. Just drive better. 

 

Server is way too asset focused and people spend money they don't have on cars they cannot afford only to then be stuck in a cycle of being under 100k cash while having millions of dollars in cars. If you cant afford a repair on your expensive car, you cant afford to drive it.

Just drive better.

As a fellow racer I understand the issue when it comes to protecting your car and wanting to use it for its intended purpose but I feel we need to look at the RP as a whole here. Many people don't treat their cars as they would their real cars, IE as a precious item and not merely a tool. Yeah… people idd drive their cars like idiots, thats true. But i was recently just getting my car fixed and then a carwash and 2 guys decided to just trash my new fixed and washed car, i felt bitter for it having to go back with my D10 fixing it again, 

you think its not an issue now but it wil soon, people still drive their cars like idiots and don’t care about the damage they cause you.  Because they already damaged their own car. And sadly some ppl are just abusive for sake of it being cool, im not so happy about the mentality thats being dealt with this, its going to get toxic

This is coming from someone crashing their car and just respawning it 100x a day with no ic percussions, cost for himself or his faction. This is yet another update that rebalances things, mostly disadvantaging crimes and civilians, I'm up for making things more polished, and realistic or tuning them to make more sense. However, it seems that most updates aiming to achieve this end up widening the gap in a level playing field between criminals/civilians and other factions, particularly law enforcement.

I don't believe this is the intention behind the updates, but each time they end up slightly widening the gap.

I've had a prime example of this today. So a gang took my car and permanently stalled it costing me 10k just to be trolls. Now i went to a server event a few hours later and someone kicked my car to perma cost me 6k my jug was t-boned by police and they drove off 3500. Was driving and was hit by another player to red engine my car 6k. all with in a few hours 

 

that's a total of 25,500 in just vehicle repairs in just a few hours. That doesn't make any sense in my opinion why i need to pay for people being trolls or hittin my cars

yup same thing happened to me and i am afraid that this trolling and recklessness or even malicious behavior will go further, 
- if you really bored or want to bait them, bumb in their car.
- if you wan to screw ppl over, kick their car to shit.
- accident happens, whatever, not my bill, the other guy did the same thing to me so idc,

on the flipside, I saw a 10F in chilliad before the changes and thought... wtf man, don't drive such car in here.
take a offroad car. so I understand the meaning behind this, but... it is getting pretty costly indeed.
and if I have to fix my car for every small bump I make because I'm that OCD XDXD, its pretty annoying. make the minimum price 100 for a small fix. 300-500-700-1000-1500, and at max 2000

also I logged out and my bike drifted in the water because of the game itself, it costed me 2k... like cmon I was gone for 10 minutes and the game decided to glitch my bf400 in the water and cost 2k

Trolled again today guy tc me in an intersection driving in the wrong side or road.  Caused me 4k in damages. I get repaired, I see him less then 5 min later an told him to drive better. He Intentionally hits my sports car with his brawler 3x causing another 3500 in damages.. had to go through a gate at a friend's house because the doors scriply don't work properly 2k in damages. I was driving and sync caused me to hit someone from 3 feet away in my screen I was not close to them 3200 I just struggle to understand why I'm spending 5-10+k in 2 hours because world issues sync or people just being trolls.. also now you spend more an ur windows an lights break randomly all the time..

 

Today at the car show spent 3k repair and then 1k car wash parked my car got out windows broke for no reason.

I am seeing all these comments about LEO, how does LEO even get mentioned in this? The suggestion was about personal vehicle repairs. LEO have personal vehicles and they share the same expenses too.

Why do suggestions have to always be turned into a cops and robbers argument? Just stick to the actual suggestion for once

maaaan i feel you, i had the same expierence, the "drive better" response from everyone is just sooo emotionally unavailable.
and it shows how unbothered the community can sometimes be.

its true man, I had trolls bashing in my car in the carwash just when I fixed my car, had to go back 3 times total in about 30 minuts.

and it might not be that much of an issue now but it will be later. because now its trolling around, but it will become and count my words it will become a thing to screw ppl over, and it will make ppl bitter.
ppl crashing into each other like whatever when you just fixed your car, its going to affect in the long term the bitterness and behavior of people, if 3 ppl crash into my car in one or 2 days, and then a troll comes by, ill be done for

well, the real question is why does melee damage do SO much damage to a car? why can i kick a car door 4-5 times and total the car? should really be nerfed. it makes no sense

Im fairly certain its a bug and not intentional. one could go so far as saying kicking a car to total it is NRP. realistically even if you took a baseball bat to a car the best youre gonna do is mess up the bodywork the internals would still be fine. i would like to see that fixed, along with the sugar glass windows, but im fairly certain this is a limitation otherwise it would have been fixed many moons ago.
