  1. THANK YOU FINALLY SOMEONE SAYS IT
  2. The way I see it right, is fun totally dependent on how a situation comes to a conclusion? Should the fun part not be the experience as a whole and not just be based off the climax of it all? I feel like having fun regardless of the outcome in the end is just as important. Just like you can have an amazing movie with a sad ending or a really shitty movie with a happy ending.
  3. I have a genuine question, and want some important context so I can get into your mindset before agreeing/disagreeing with your post/suggestion. My question: What was your goal in this video and If you had not been tased how would the situation have played out in your opinion? You're being chased by 3 cops and you turn around and shoot. Someone in the car accidentally tases you not realizing you had turned to shoot. This was a complete total accident by whoever that cop was and not something that happens often if ever, an extremely rare occurrence.
  4. I think cutting the CURRENT durability of it by 50% is better. Imagine if you're injured with a gun thats at 40% overall durability. Your gun is just broken at that point. If you change your suggestion to cutting it 50% of its CURRENT value someone with a 40% gun would leave their gun at 20% which is still fair. I do agree though, I think robberies are better overall for the server as opposed to just killing each other. It just cuts RP down short by taking a shortcut to killing everyone.
  5. I will make it my mission to bully samuel martin and his gang of goons
  6. I like this idea but only for credit cars, gives benefit to buying credit cars
  7. Brother, you quite literally reacted to the original post yet did not feel that it went off topic. Only when something does not fit the narrative you agree with you decide it's "not where the thread should go", ironic really.
  8. "So many people" arent throwing in the towel, they're just aware that a multiplayer video game is not going to last forever. Same way Halo 3 servers were shut down, DLC was bought and money was spent. You can still play the base game on your Xbox 360. You just cannot play multiplayer.
  9. Server isn't gonna last forever, something you should come to terms with.
  10. SD and PD handle their own business unless its really necessary. Your goal should not be to wipe the police force. You tend to shoot because you need to help someone out right? As a criminal you get the advantage of deciding WHERE and WHEN to shoot. If you shoot somewhere and one LEO faction feels its absolutely needed to call the other for assistance and then are STILL FIGHTING while the other faction responds from the opposite end of the map then you're doing it wrong. Again, 90% of the time you shouldn't need to be fighting more than a handful of cops to begin with? MkII weapons are equivalent in damage to their MkI counterparts. Have been for months now. Ammo is not unlimited neither is armor. In order to use /fl you have to be at a locker or next to your cruiser. I don't condone the act of grabbing fresh armor or ammo from vehicles in a shootout anyway. Criminal players have access to both, sniper rifles and helicopters. They have been used in the past. Even then, the only sniper I personally would find even moderately useful in a shootout scenario would be the Marksman Rifle and that isn't even the primarily used option by law enforcement factions either. Thermal scopes are not as good as you think they are and I don't even think SWAT uses them in shootouts. They were nerfed a very long time ago. All of the equipment you listed here anyway requires more than half a real life year of progress for someone to earn in LEO factions anyway. They can't just swipe a credit card and spawn one in like a niobe now can they? Before you go on and argue "b-b-but we pay for this stuff". Yeah, you pay for it and you keep it and you use it how YOU want to use it. When someone in an LEO faction stops doing their LEO duties they lose all of it. Someone in an LEO faction can't use it with the freedom you do. You could go to a lab or hit a bank and print money out then buy whatever gun you want and use it however you want. A LEO has rules within their faction on how they can use it and when they can use it. Shit I'll buy Tom Daniels' Nero off him and chase you with it how's that sound? Or swipe for a Niobe or a Banshee GTS? I'm sorry but in 2025 you have HSW, you have drugs that let you sprint at the speed of light, you have drugs that give you damage reduction, drugs that give you more carry weight, drugs that slow down your lockpick minigame, gun and armor import prices at an all time low. If escaping the police is your problem then you're just doing it wrong. The only problem you should be having struggles with is bigger criminal groups bullying smaller groups and the forum report mentality between players.
  11. If its a 40% reduction like you said then criminals have more than 150 armor if you think about it. A cop shooting a criminal: Lets say any particular bullet does 15 damage, thats 13.3 shots to kill a suspect with 100 hp and 100 armor with NO drugs so round it up to 14 because of the extra shot you'll need to do to with the .3. We'll just assume no headshots are hit which negate armor already to an extent. Now if your suspect has 100 hp, 100 armor AND has a 40% reduction with drugs, That brings up the shots to kill to 22.2 using the same gun in the last example. If you shoot someone with a headshot, that negates armor to extent right? Well guess what that reduction from drugs does not get negated AFAIK. So you're even fine if the cop hits headshots. ______ Now on the other side, a criminal shooting a cop: If you shoot a cop that has 150 armor, with the same 15 damage/shot from the last examples, that's 16.6 shots to kill rounded up to 17. If you headshot a cop, that's even more detrimental because no damage reduction is in play and let me tell you, the recent few shootings I've been involved in I can safely say that I've been hit by plenty of headshots even when capo strafing. Shit I'll gladly trade armor for a legal equivalent of drugs any day.
  12. Can you post the full image? I'm just curious about something. Because if I remember correctly, this was a screenshot cropped from a crim using the 200 armor import. edit: Found the extended portion of the image it came from a criminal player using 200ap
  13. This is a genuine question, but can you explain what is OP about someone chasing you in a car that can keep up with your super fast car? How is that not the definition of fair?
  14. I think you need to understand that fun is subjective, roleplay is dynamic and specific roleplay scenarios are fluid. Not every situation is black & white. Jason Steel, Grace Steel, Samuel Martin and my character drove past OTF headquarters earlier. My character was looking for masks, to conduct gang enforcement duties. HOWEVER, OTF approached our characters in a way that was not cause for concern, and in fact showed hospitality. Everyone cracked jokes, spoke with each other and laughed. My character even ended up staying behind and playing dice with 3 OTF members for like 15 minutes afterward. Not to be taken the wrong way, but I think that you and other members of this community do not realize that characters take actions and actions come with consequences. There is a cause, and an effect. We should also learn to distinguish between IC and OOC as a community. Someone could be a complete toxic cunt with their character, but be a chill dude on discord and on the forums. Characters also have flaws, have strengths and should be developed over time based on their actions and the experiences they have in character. An example: I have a .50 on my character. He is a known criminal. He just drove like a dumbass and was stopped. The officer stopping him is going to charge him with reckless driving. This is a 15 minute jail sentence OOC. The officer was smart, conducted his stop and acted calm, kept his cool. My character showed him his license hoping that he would get off with a ticket. The officer comes back and tells my character to get out of the car. I now have a couple of choices staring my character down right now. A) He can comply, take the 30 minutes for the handgun and 15 minutes for the reckless for a total of 45 minutes and lose his license for 6 hours and have his car impounded. However he will be out of jail shortly and be able to continue his adventures after the short period in jail. B) He can evade, possibly escape and catch a warrant for 60 minutes because of evading. He does get to keep his handgun though, his car is not impounded and he is free to do whatever he wants until next time he gets caught for his warrant. C) He can evade, possibly get caught and catch 60 minutes in prison for evading, 30 for the handgun, possibly another 60 for the endangerment charge he might get for his driving depending if he performs well or not. So he would lose his license for 6 hours, be in jail for a total 2 and a half hours and also lose his handgun. Possibly missing out on whatever he was planning on doing earlier. However, he made the choice to run and failed. Now he must suffer the consequences of his action. I had fun OOCly though because I CHOSE to do this OOCly. I MADE this decision. Is there a right and wrong answer here? No. All of them can be fun and have their ups and downs. That is the point I'm trying to make. THAT is roleplay.
  15. When is the last time you heard Samuel Martin on his criminal alt say "shit gang". Better yet, when is the last time Samuel Martin logged onto a criminal alt.
  16. Please, stop spreading misinformation on the forums to pander to sympathy. Brother, It was a simple traffic stop that turned into a shootout because Rooks decided to shoot, but once rooks escaped (minus ONE Chase Vincero who was arrested because you decided to shoot) you guys went up north, shot SD who wasnt even involved. Then decided to not evade, but instead convoy up and lead officers into a holdout location. As opposed to..? Just hiding and changing clothes/cars? "Hey, I just shot a bunch of cops and we all managed to get away except one person. Maybe let's all go and park our vehicles, pull out different ones and change clothes!" Was that not a sensible alternative? Nobody forced you to shoot. Nobody forced you to get involved in the traffic stop.
  17. Hate to break it to you Jordan, but the "police" aren't always appropriate IRL. Considering there's hundreds of gangs INSIDE law enforcement departments that require you to murder innocent civilians to join. I think you're missing important context for this situation! These we're not law abiding citizens, these were members of a violent criminal organization, armed, and actively shooting police! I'm sorry you felt what the police officers said in character during this shootout was not appropriate roleplay for police :(, however I can assure you that this in fact would slide in real life. Once you engage law enforcement in a shootout, all form of professionalism toward the shooter goes out of the window. Are they supposed to give you a handshake and congratulate you for your actions during the shootout? Would that be more appropriate instead? I'm also sorry you feel that someone's character insulting another person's character breeds toxicity. Perhaps if you feel this way we should start cracking down on any form of conflict roleplay so we don't breed more toxicity. Let's start alliances between all the gangs and have bonfires instead of pushing each other at labs. Wouldn't want to breed toxicity with shootouts either! I think it's important we learn to separate IC and OOC. Should these two officers have received severe reprimands too for telling the suspect to "crawl motherfucker" and saying "you're gonna tazed bitch"? Timestamp: 2:18 https://youtu.be/j6B4doMfCMU?feature=shared&t=138 Should Sheriff Judd be impeached because of him telling reports that "there is no such thing as politcally correct in a gunfight" after a reporter asked him about comments made during a shootout? Timestamp 0:50 https://youtu.be/H9-WlXOeaBo?feature=shared&t=50 Same Sheriff saying his department should've shot someone more if they hadn't ran out of bullets. Should we riot for his unprofessionalism? https://youtube.com/shorts/EVwW0h6tzJM?feature=shared
  18. I've reached out to both of you on discord
  19. As someone that survived that exact encounter you're referring to. This simply is not true. You did not kill the same cop 3 times in the same shootout. There was about 3 LSPD members that survived total, me being one of them. Around the same amount of Sheriffs Deputies survived the encounter. So unless you went out of your way to find the same guy three times while he was performing unrelated duties, I can safely say you did /not/ kill the same cop 3 times in the same shootout.
  20. Okay, if we want to continue to argue semantics. I will pay for a week vacation to a location of your choice! The only thing I ask of you is the following: During your trip, you must pick a destination at or near a high crime rate location. You will then find someone in that violent city of your choice with a history of gun violence and violent gang affiliation in the United States and that person is armed with a firearm. Then you will begin insulting them. At no point will you say “I’m just kidding man” or you will forfeit any expenses paid on your trip. I will pay for your flight, room and expenses minus anything that comes from your interaction with this fella. All out of my own pocket. We will see how that adventure goes for you. I’ll even give you some suggestions on who and what neighborhoods you can go to if you agree! I’m being dead serious and I look forward to you reaching out on discord so we can plan your free vacation trip! I will obviously vet the destination to make sure this is a proper agreement.
  21. The problem is when staff all rule differently and its a spin of a roulette wheel cause the rules are so poorly written and open to interpretation. You're basically entering a wheelspin minigame every time you get reported and praying it lands on an admin that is reasonable with rule enforcement. You take two staff members, they'll both have completely different opinions on the same report, let alone the same rule. If you sit here and tell me my statement is factually incorrect, well I'll sit here and tell you that I've personally seen certain members of the community get off scott-free with things I have been punished for. I've expressed my concerns through the correct ways ultimately to no response regarding my concerns.
  22. People get shot IRL for less LMFAOOOO. Yes, you /are/ correct it does not make sense but there are ignorant people in this world. Just because something does not happen to /you/ does /not/ mean that it does not happen IRL. "Applying logic to real life" is irrelevant. I promise you if you come to florida and step in the wrong neighborhood you'll probably get shot if you said the wrong thing to the wrong person. Even I personally have hovered my hand over my handgun in a heated road rage incident before. We got rappers shooting and killing each other and making music videos describing exactly how they did the crime. Hell, take the whole ATK vs Foolios Crew beef for example. Both crews killing each other over petty shit and then dropping song after song after song after every kill. Yungeen Ace finally ended the beef and made a song called "Game Over" after he finally killed Foolio and told everyone exactly how he did it and bragged about killing him. Even had the killer in the video dancing and drinking Don Julio. In the words of Yungeen himself. "I told em niggas to watch what they sayin to me, I kill for shit like this". How are you gonna sit here and argue semantics about what someone would and wouldn't do IRL or if it makes "logical sense" if it happens en masse in real life lmao. Got niggas like Von and Durk that were shooting people over twitter beef and you gonna sit here and tell people to "apply logic" on a roleplay server where peoples characters have more kills than the bodycount in iraq? Got cops in law enforcement that make gangs inside police departments with the requirement of murdering innocent civilians in order to join. Should we apply logic to them too? Logic does not apply to criminals. Logic does not apply to shootings. There is more to life than a gated community with white picket fences.
  23. If people had no incentive to make peace, they wouldnt be forum reporting each other nonstop to make the losing stop. If you removed the ability for someone to crybaby their way out of a beef. You force them to be diplomatic about it in game. If people could not forum report their way to a W, you would see more people accept their in character losses more. Its as simple as that. Forum reporting someone for deathmatching is an easy way to turn a salty situation into a serotonin boost. When in reality, people need to sever their connection between IC and OOC and instead focus on ending RP beef through IC means like the ways I suggested. I promise you players would self-moderate when they realize they started an IC beef that they could not handle IC and received a "Well sort it IC" response from the admin team. The players that cannot "take the L" should be treated like toddlers. An example is as follows: Gang A: Crips | Gang B: Bloods Crips start beef with the bloods, lets say by hitting bloods at a lab. Bloods want their retaliation. To make things right, bloods are demanding 100k from crips or they will continue to get robbed when they see each other. Crips then deny that offer. Fast forward a couple of weeks: Crips have been losing 8/10 fights with bloods. Bloods are in a comfortable position. Crips resort to trying to report bloods. Crips are met with "This beef should be handled in game by the two parties" by admins. Crips are then left to fend for themselves IC because they started this beef IC. Bloods continue to rob crips, leading to the same 8/10 ratio in shootouts vs crips. Crips are then forced to negotiate a surrender or risk total turmoil. Crips decide to pay 100k to bloods to end the beef. Do you see how this was solved with zero admin intervention?
  24. Whats wrong with that inherently though? If you have beef with someone, one side of the beef will obviously come out on top. It should be handled in the RP, maybe by the losing side cutting their losses and being like "Listen, I know we have our differences. How about I pay you 50k and you stop robbing me." or "If I wrote you an apology letter would you stop looking for trouble?". I don't see why every conflict needs to be moderated by rules. If I didnt like someone and I caught them lacking. Then they hit me up a day later and offered me 50k to stop robbing them. I would be inclined to take it no? Why is that such a hard concept to understand on eclipse.
  25. If someones pointing a gun at you robbing you for your shoes telling you they want your shoes. You have two options, you comply and give him your shoes or you call his bluff and drive off. He can then shoot you or not. The RP is him giving you a decision and your character making a decision. ____ If I see you rocking some $20,000 nike air mags IRL. I decide to rob you for them. Is there going to be an invisible admin punishment looming over me if I decide to end your life over a stickup gone wrong?
