  1. +1 Free the middle class and limit the power of the corrupt government!
  2. I agree with the concept, however, I would modify the suggestion to require POV if you were requested to save it. If you don't have POV after being reasonably requested to save it, then a warning/punishment should be issued. This way, we still have the current system in place where you can be prepared for a report, but you won't have to save it for every single shooting scenario.
  3. The feature was implemented as a script solution to prevent people from putting campfires under cars or pushing a vehicle into the water to get free stuff from it without having to picklock. In my opinion, the feature should stay as is, but just have it be NRP to destroy your own vehicle to get rid of the items inside
  4. I am missing the point of the suggestions or discussion here. It seems to me that if the identified problem for criminals is the money gained and/or lost in interactions, why would the solution be to make another faction lose money as well. I fail to see how that solves the issue(s) noted. Fix the criminal economy which is being identified as the source of the problem. I don't see how LEOs losing something financially has any relevancy to the problem you are identifying. Also, both criminals and LEOs alike came out of the several massive shootout situations we had earlier this week saying its been the most fun they have had in awhile, regardless of who lost and who won. We should be placing less focus on the W's and the details of finances and more focus on the quality RP and just having fun honestly. Some situations in RP are going to be less fun than others, sure, but that's just how it goes. We can't all win 100% of the time. But how we take the wins and losses is up to each person individually. There can be a lot of interesting RP opportunities that can come from these interactions and even losses at times as a result of the rebuild after said loss.
  5. How long until the concept of charging LEO faction treasury for these things leads to criminals organizations just changing the meta to shoot the tires of every police vehicle they come across to drain the treasury and then cops don't get to respond to anything for the rest of the week? I don't really understand why anyone is comparing crims to LEOs for economy. LEOs earning money just goes to side projects, such as a house for them to decorate and not do much with, or a side business, or just a nice car to literally drive between off duty events and work. Money is meaningless for LEOs. LEOs join PD or SD for the RP, not to earn lots of money or financially outperform criminals. Criminals use money to fund their RP and investments. What difference does it make to a criminal if a LEO doesn't have to pay for their loadout while on duty? You act as though a LEO will pick up guns post shootout and go stash them to go hold the island lab later on themselves.
  6. I would recommend putting this up in the events suggestion area. I am sure the events team could assist in some random events for things like this and provide the mapping.
  7. Just rework the chat box to include a tab style design like Runescape has: one tab for text chat and RP only, one tab that has everything, one tab for ads only, one tab for OOC only, and one tab for /reports and admins. Also, if we rework the chat box, allow it to be scalable in size so 4K users can actually see the words instead of having to read text made for ants.
  8. There are always options of parking your car elsewhere or taking a bus or taxi to the job location.
  9. I agree that doing something in a private instance or indoors is not the right idea. Often times IRL, criminals will grow illegal marijuana plants in the middle of normal crop fields or out in the wilderness somewhere where it won't be spotted. Just allow the planting of seeds anywhere and implement a planter item that could be used anywhere a private drug table could be placed. This way it is just as balanced as the private tables.
  10. I agree that maybe some leniency for those players that are "newer characters" might not be bad. However, if a player makes bad choices, then the answer shouldn't be just lower the prices of everything to make that easier. Bad choices should have negative consequences that go with that. Also, players can choose to do further RP with MD and get a heal from them for free. We should incentivize more medical RP rather than just lowering the price.
  11. I'll see about posting some pictures of the property later today.
  12. This should be combined with the suggestion to buy X amount from a store as well. Allow someone to use a slider or type in a number for splitting in inventory and use the same UI to purchase a larger amount of items from a store.
  13. No need for the leaderboard. Get rid of it and if a faction leader/high command need to know someones exp for recruitment, just have that player send a screenshot of their /stats to verify.
  14. Then go get yourself a deal and buy the 3Gs for a million less. I am not selling 3G's
  15. 4G house for sale. Great access location right above the Tequilala club in the vinewood hills. 4 Million asking price, posted at the door.
  16. I agree with giving burgershot employees more tasks to do to incentivize work, but I don't think its really an issue as it is now. $900 for 30 minutes of work is nothing. You get the same if you are low income for free from the government already. The $900 they make is enough to pay for their food and water and not much else anyways. If someone wants to stand around for the $900, then let them. They could easily go do other things with low activity requirements, such as fishing and make a lot more.
  17. I agree with giving extra jobs to do for the burgershot employees, but I don't agree that the way it is now is bad. Burgershot is not dead currently, its constantly the most popular spot in the city and has been for a couple of months now.
  18. I think the server has been much better off with the train tunnels closed off. I do not support re-opening them. As for the train job you are suggesting, I believe there are enough transportation options available as it is and adding more would take away further from the buses that already run and the DCC taxi faction.
  19. The server staff team has already done this. We went through and collected many hours worth of data for each of the freelance jobs and calculated the profit per hour of work at max efficiency and the dev's rebalanced the jobs based on this data. No further changes should be needed for now.
  20. Freelance jobs were rebalanced to be more even with one another. Previously, you had jobs like trucker or woodcutting that could make you 10-15k an hour where some jobs would only make you maybe 5k an hour. They were all rebalanced to provide more job variety so everyone wasn't just doing the same thing.
  21. Could take the litter spawning script inside DOC and have random spots on the map spawn a bunch of litter that people need to pick up. Then the DOC faction could have a division of correctional officers that oversee the people assigned to do community service. Would expand RP opps for both criminals and DOC. Maybe replace some of the Mission Row/Paleto downtown jail cell time with the community service stuff so they have something to do instead of just sitting in a cell doing nothing. Could also expand this to DOC to make a "chain gang" situation where they could have some DOC inmate go out to spots to clean up litter with a guard watching them. Could create some cool prison break opportunities.
  22. Used to be no delay for a stolen car to be reported a stolen on police MDC. Now you have a couple of minutes to drive it to a safe spot to chop it before being noticed. Also, the name "Los Santos Citizen" isn't shown anymore. Its a fake name thats randomly generated so police won't instantly know its stolen as well based on the Registered Owner of the vehicle. This is far less risk than there was before when the car was instantly shown as reported stolen as soon as you hotwired it previously.
