They need to make bleeter text only and then move life invader to the phone as Instagram also let us use custom images and not just images taken on the limiting phone camera

In its current state, the casino wheel just isn’t appealing. It costs 40,000 chips to spin, barely anyone uses it, and it’s not even clear what the possible rewards are. Because of that, it feels more like a forgotten feature than something players actually look forward to. I’d suggest a rework to make it more engaging and worthwhile: Make It Free to Spin The wheel should be free, like it is in regular GTA Online. The cost is likely the main reason nobody uses it. A free spin makes it accessible to everyone and turns it into a daily activity rather than a gamble most players won’t risk. Global Reset Every 12 or 24 Hours Instead of individual cooldowns, have it reset globally at the same time for everyone every 12 or 24 hours. That way: Everyone knows exactly when it resets Players are encouraged to log in around the same time The casino becomes a social hotspot It creates natural player interaction and RP opportunities Imagine the wheel resetting and suddenly loads of people head to the casino together it actually makes the building feel alive. Clearly Show Rewards Right now it’s not obvious what you can win. Add: A visible prize list (wheel texture change) Proper UI showing odds/rewards A featured “top prize” display (Car that you can win displayed not just the Deveste Eight) Make it feel exciting, not confusing. Add a Car as the Top Prize The entire point of the Diamond Casino wheel in Online is the chance to win a car. That’s what makes it iconic. Bringing that into the server would: Make spins genuinely exciting Give players a reason to show up daily Create hype around featured vehicles Why This Would be Good At the moment, the wheel costs a lot, gives unclear rewards, and doesn’t generate traffic. A free, globally resetting wheel with a chance to win a car would: Increase daily player activity Encourage social interaction Make the casino feel alive Give people another thing to consistently log in for Overall, I think this would massively improve engagement and make the casino a real attraction instead of a semi dying feature.

I’m assuming this change was made to help encourage streamers to play on the server, which makes sense from a growth perspective. That said, the current in-game radio is honestly just annoying. It barely works half the time, and it takes away from what should be a simple experience. I want to just get in a car and drive without messing around with links or putting in links that just don't work. I’ve seen other servers counter this by adding player-made or royalty-free tracks to the radio stations instead. But this works well for communities where music is a big part of the server. On this server though, player made music isn’t really a major focus, so I can understand why something like that hasn’t been implemented in its place. Still, I think the better solution would just be to bring back the original radio stations and add a streamer setting that allows people to disable them if needed. That way Regular players get the classic driving experience back Streamers can stay safe from copyright issues Everyone has the choice Honestly, massive +1 from me. Just add the old radio back with an optional toggle for those who need it.

The phone system in Eclipse RP has not had a meaningful update in nearly six years. In that time, the only changes have been the addition of a J keybind to open the phone which realistically should have been there from the beginning and the Government app, which, while fine in concept but is something that arguably should have existed by default rather than being considered a major update. For a server that constantly evolves, adds new mechanics, improves realism, and modernises systems, the phone feels frozen in time. It is outdated visually, limited functionally, and heavily reliant on chat commands that could be integrated directly into a modern, immersive interface. This suggestion is not a small tweak it is a complete, structured overhaul designed to bring the phone into the modern era while improving immersion, organisation, realism, and roleplay. Full Visual Rework & Modern Design The current phone UI was designed in an era equivalent to the iPhone X but was based off of the iPhone 8. That design language is now outdated. A modern redesign should take inspiration from devices such as the iPhone 16 and modern Samsung devices, creating a cleaner, smoother, more premium interface. Players could choose between two exterior styles when purchasing a phone: An iPhone-inspired UI shell A Samsung-inspired UI shell The key point is that this would only change the visual outer design. The internal apps and functionality remain identical for everyone to maintain fairness and balance. The phone should also become a physical inventory item that degrades over time. Instead of lasting forever, it would slowly wear down over approximately a month before becoming destroyed and needing replacement. This adds realism and keeps the economy flowing. As part of this change: /phone and /removebattery would be removed All phone interactions would be handled directly through inventory The phone would still need charging, but degradation adds long-term realism rather than short-term inconvenience. VPN & Phone Jailbreaker Mechanics To add depth, especially for criminal RP, two optional items could be introduced. The VPN item would simulate disconnecting your phone from the internet. When activated, your phone would only allow access to offline-style apps such as: Vehicles Properties Wardrobe Notes Settings Photos Fleeca Messages, job apps, races, social media, and websites would be inaccessible because the phone is not connected to the internet. The Phone Jailbreaker would be a high-tier criminal item. It would: Make the phone untraceable Work alongside the VPN Restore full functionality even when VPN is active Degrade faster than a normal phone Be expensive and imported (e.g., cartel-only for certain gang tiers) This creates meaningful risk vs reward. It becomes something only gang leaders or high-level criminals would realistically invest in especially for sending freqs or organising serious operations without being tracked. Contacts, Phone & Messages Rework The contacts app already separates names A–Z, but it lacks clarity. A modern redesign would display the current letter category clearly at the top of the list, similar to modern smartphones. It is a small detail, but these details are what make interfaces feel premium and polished. The messages app needs a major upgrade: group chats. Players should be able to: Create group chats Add or remove participants Rename groups Delete groups entirely Right now, people send binds to 20–30 players manually. Group chats would improve organisation for events, friend groups, factions, and businesses. It would reduce Discord reliance and, by design, reduce metagaming. The separate “Blocks” app should be removed and integrated into the main phone app. There is no reason for it to exist independently. Taxi App Improvements The taxi app currently feels messy and incomplete. Fares should be clearly displayed before requesting a vehicle so players understand what they are paying. All new taxis should appear in the app currently they do not, which confuses new players. This is a small update, but for new player experience especially, clarity matters. Bank App Redesign The bank app has huge potential but currently feels basic. A redesign inspired by modern banking apps like NatWest or Nationwide would make it feel far more immersive. It should include: A transaction log showing the last 10–20 transactions A unique, randomly generated bank ID separate from player ID Anonymous money transfers using bank ID instead of name Access to faction bank accounts via a tab switcher Transaction logs for faction accounts (10–50 entries) Saved payees for recurring payments This reduces metagaming, improves realism, and makes financial RP more engaging. Life Invader Rework The current Life Invader app is essentially a tiny embedded webpage that barely functions. Almost nobody uses it through the phone. Instead, it should function like an Instagram-style feed. Only image posts would be visible in the phone app, displayed in chronological order. Text-only posts could remain website-exclusive. Players could: View image posts Follow accounts Search accounts View previous uploads Images could be uploaded via external hosting or through the in-game camera app. This creates a proper in-character social media system and promotes server activity through screenshots and RP moments. Automatic login through API would remove the need for manual credentials. Y App (Inspired by X / Twitter) The Y app would function similarly to X (formerly Twitter). It would act as a global text-only feed where players can post short messages visible server-wide. Players could: Create an account Set a profile picture Choose a display name and @ To prevent spam: Non-VIP cooldown: 10–5 minutes Bronze: 5–2.5 minutes Higher VIP tiers: progressively shorter cooldown Strict rules would apply: No advertising (protects Weazel) No toxicity If someone posts something against the rules, they’ve just made themselves easier to catch. The system itself does not create the issue it exposes it. Vehicles & Properties Apps These two apps would replace multiple commands and centralise asset management. The Vehicles app would display: Vehicle name License plate Fuel Health Mileage Track button (with visible cooldown) This makes /vehiclestats and /showcars redundant. The Properties app would display: All owned properties Value and last sold price Address Vehicles stored in garages Key management Tracking option This replaces /showhouses and /showproperties. It eliminates guessing where cars are and improves overall ownership clarity. Camera & Photos Apps The Camera app would allow: Front and rear camera modes Selfies Photo saving directly to the Photos app This would not replace the physical camera item (which produces Polaroids and serves different RP purposes). The Photos app would act like a standard smartphone gallery, storing all captured images and allowing uploads where permitted. Together with Life Invader, this creates a connected ecosystem of social RP. Wardrobe App Players could create outfit presets similar to faction outfit creators. Inspired by (Arc Angels Post) Preset limits: Standard: 2 Silver: 3 Gold: 4 Diamond: 5 Restrictions: Cannot change while cuffed/tazed Cannot change in a vehicle/trunk Cannot change while injured 3-minute cooldown Clothing must be physically in inventory/bag This encourages players to carry clothing realistically instead of magically switching outfits. ⚙ Settings Improvements The settings app should include: Silent mode / Do Not Disturb Top-of-screen notification banners Subtle animation when receiving messages Custom phone backgrounds More ringtone and SMS tone options After six years of the same ringtone, variation would be welcome. Job Centre App This would replace physical job boards that are rarely used. Instead of walking to a board, players could browse jobs directly on their phone. It would show: Job description Pay Requirements Quick “mark on map” button It streamlines early gameplay and improves accessibility. Weazel News App A Weazel News app should have existed a long time ago. It could: Display previously aired ads Allow players to request Weazel services Submit property ads Request coverage This replaces constant /weazel usage and feels more immersive. Racing App A dedicated racing app should replace the U-menu system. It could: Create and host races Send and manage race invites Join active races Manage saved routes Display leaderboards and personal stats This replaces the U-menu system and makes racing feel more immersive and modern. Dealership Integration Dealerships could have a section within the phone (or inside Weazel app) where they can list vehicles with: Price Image Basic stats All of this already exists in the panel, so integrating it into a clean phone UI simply makes it more immersive and organised. Final Thoughts This isn’t just about making the phone look nicer. It’s about: Reducing redundant commands Modernising outdated systems Encouraging in-character communication Reducing Discord dependency Adding realism through degradation and tracking mechanics Making the phone feel like an actual essential device After six years, the phone deserves a full-scale overhaul. A modern server should have a modern phone.

Massive +1 to this! I’ve wanted and needed this for years both from playing PD and from playing criminal long-term across the server. A non-emergency hotline is something that realistically should already exist. Not every situation warrants a full 911 lights-and-sirens response sometimes you just need to: Report a stolen vehicle without triggering a priority dispatch Report suspicious activity that isn’t actively dangerous Ask about impounds, reports, or follow-ups Coordinate after or during an incident without escalating it Call PD and MD when injured but not in immediate life-threatening danger From an RP perspective, this adds depth and structure. It separates actual emergencies from administrative or minor reports, making dispatch feel more realistic and professional instead of everything being treated as high priority. It also doesn’t even need to spam chat or create instant alerts. It could simply log into the MD/PD MDC and sit there until an officer reviews it when available. No annoyance, no forced response just a non-emergency report that is easy to handle and isn't annoying. That way: It doesn’t flood the chat It doesn’t interrupt active scenes It still generates follow-up RP It improves realism without adding annoyance For PD players, it reduces unnecessary priority call spam. For civilians/criminals, it gives a more natural way to initiate RP without instantly escalating the situation. Simple concept, big quality-of-life and realism improvement for the server overall.

I get what you’re going for, and I can tell this is heavily inspired by how the new GTA Mansions work and it would make mansions if ever added feel more alive and less like a closed-off “dimension.” That being said, this just isn’t technically feasible at least not in the way you’re describing. Even Grand Theft Auto Online with the newer mansion-style interiors doesn’t actually do this. They give the illusion that you’re still in the main world, but you’re not. You’re still placed in a separate interior dimension (routing bucket). The game just cleverly streams exterior vehicles, ambient models, or synced elements to make it feel like your still in the main dimension. What you’re suggesting would require: Cloning or mirroring players across dimensions Syncing movement, voice, and animations between two or more separate instances Allowing one-sided collision (inside can jump out, outside can’t jump in) Selective bullet collision (invisible wall that blocks shots but still allows visibility) Showing multiple “versions” of players from outside while keeping them invisible to each other inside Script-wise, that’s just not realistically possible in GTA’s framework. You can’t truly duplicate a live player entity into multiple dimensions and have them interact physically across those spaces. The engine simply doesn’t support that level of cross-instance interaction. The reason interiors are separate in the first place is performance and networking stability. Once you start trying to make two dimensions interact in real time, things break very quickly for example desync, ghost entities, collision issues, voice routing problems, etc. So unfortunately, to my knowledge it’s not something that can realistically be developed within GTA’s and RAGE's scripting limitations, it’s a sick idea and it would be amazing if the engine actually supported something like that though.

It’s not actually possible to just swap the old low-grip tyres for the new drift version system. The drift versions and the regular versions are built completely differently on the backend. They have different handling lines, different handling flags, and different physics behaviour attached to them. It’s not just a tyre change the entire car is configured around that specific system. The low-grip tyres on cars like the ZR350 work the way they do for a reason. They behave differently from the dedicated drift version. For example, with low-grip tyres you can transition from a drift into a reverse entry much more naturally because the car still follows its original handling model, just with reduced traction. The dedicated drift versions were added to make drifting easier and more accessible, especially for players who don’t have much experience. They’re more assisted and forgiving. The low-grip setup is more raw and technical for more skilled players who want to push the limits allowing for finer throttle control, weight transfer management, clutch-kick style initiations, reverse entries, tighter transition control, and overall a much higher skill ceiling when it comes to linking corners cleanly. So replacing one with the other wouldn’t really work they’re designed around completely different handling systems.

-1 There's a volume setting inside the game for a reason, I think that storms and extreme weather should happen more often actually

Yeah 100% I agree with part of what you’re saying. I’ve only used the bridge a handful of times too, and never had major bugs myself. But I think the real issue is less about the bugs and more about what the bridge represents for RP overall. The trucking update was a cool idea at first moving illegal guns and cargo from Cayo to the city sounded great on paper. But realistically, it doesn’t make much sense. If that kind of traffic was actually happening in real life over a massive bridge, PD would have checkpoints, surveillance drones, spike strips, the whole nine yards. The bridge kind of removes the whole “smuggler island” vibe that made Cayo feel unique and dangerous. Also, like you said trucking hype died out. I barely see anyone doing those runs anymore, so now the bridge is just sitting there, ruining the immersion for everyone else. It feels like a leftover piece of a feature that no longer adds much value. And honestly, considering how long the grind is to even unlock illegal shipments we’re talking a week or more casually from level 0 to access I don’t think it’s a huge stretch to have players spawn a boat, drive to Cayo get the product and then drive back, then load up a truck from the boat. That alone would add way more depth to the process than just driving straight over like it’s another part of the mainland.

The Cayo Perico Bridge Needs to go I know this is going to be a controversial post, but it’s something that’s been on my mind for a while, and I think it’s worth discussing with the community as a lot of the people I know agree with me on this, but personally I think that the Cayo Perico Bridge needs to go and here’s why: It Kills the Need for Boats and Helicopters One of the coolest things about Cayo Perico was that you actually needed to find a way there either by Boat or Heli. Now you can just drive over, and it makes those assets pretty much pointless. It Breaks Immersion A massive bridge to a supposedly secret/private island which is loosely based on the real life islands of Norman's Cay in the Bahamas which is off the coast of Florida, it makes no sense at all that a bridge would be built there. In an RP standpoint it also doesn’t fit the vibe or lore at all, especially as its known to be the second home of the Cartel and the bridge just completely ruins that value and realism. It's Buggy and Janky On top of all that I'll be honest, the bridge causes more issues than it solves causing issues like glitching through the floor, texture bugs, random scuffed collisions it’s not exactly a smooth experience. I get that it was added for convenience, and I know some people like it. But in the bigger picture, it takes away from the challenge, creativity, and realism of the server. Removing it adds more life into how we interact with Cayo whether it’s smuggling, air travel, or just planning an escape or even a marriage. I get the appeal of bringing cars to Cayo and I’m all for it I actually really like the idea of using vehicles on the island. But the bridge isn’t the only way to do that and it’s probably the worst option. I thought of three more immersive alternatives that I think are just way better in my opinion: Rental cars on Cayo – Pay a fee to rent a local vehicle when you arrive like the city bees in the city. Also gives more of an incentive to buy VIP wink wink. Random vehicle spawns – Just like in the city, have local NPC cars spawn naturally on the island, either then having to steal them or just having the keys left in the glovebox for example depending on how hard you want it to be to obtain a vehicle on Cayo Perico. A Ferry System – Say for example you park your car at a dock (like LSIA or Vespucci), and then it becomes available on Cayo to unpark it there when you arrive for a small fee. Could be limited to one car at a time per person to keep it balanced. These options let people use cars without breaking immersion or undermining the rest of the games mechanics. Please note I'm just curious to what others think, and I’m not trying to start drama. Let’s make Cayo feel like a remote island again and not just a stop on the highway!

@Thang I'm pretty sure there is a way to convert those maps into RAGEMP ones as currently the server uses one of there MLOs that one being the impound lot so I can only assume somewhere down the line it has been converted into a RAGEMP MLO https://fivem.gabzv.com/package/4873123

I wanted to suggest adding a custom interior MLO for Benny’s. I’ve played on other servers where this particular MLO was used, and it worked amazingly. Honestly, it’s the best Benny’s MLO I’ve seen in the GTA RP community so far. With the recent introduction of the Benny’s faction, I think it’s the perfect time for an upgrade. Both LSC and Bayview already have immersive MLOs with detailed tools, workstations, and expanded garage space which improve RP interactions. Meanwhile, Benny’s still has the default, outdated interior, which feels cramped and limits the RP potential. Every time I visit Benny’s in-game, I find myself wishing this MLO were in place instead of the basic one. The current setup often results in cars piling up outside due to the lack of space, making the area feel overcrowded and chaotic. This custom MLO would not only improve immersion but also create a more organized and enjoyable RP experience. Additionally, the creator of this MLO is the same one behind the impound lot currently in use, which has already proven to work great in the server. Since their work has been successfully implemented before, I believe this Benny’s MLO would be another great addition. I’d love to hear what you think and whether this could even be considered! I mean it’s an idea but a weird and wacky one at that, it sounds like your trying to make gangs into PD and SD.. Realistically parking and /fspawns are supposed to be RPed as massive parking lots and or garages filled with cars, I understand it’s an idea but there’s no need for criminals to have a central parking lot at there HQ, it makes no sense. Especially at places like grove street where it’s an empty poor run down gang territory, you ain’t just gunna go “ah yes I’ll think I’ll place a 4 story car park here for my gang to use”. You get my point, this being added will also take the fun out of buying properties houses etc near your gang HQ to store cars in close to it, which also then limits RP as why would you want to buy a house if you can just park it at your HQ. I heavily agree on what @hrxvey said also why despawn your car by parking it and not use it as a statement instead for example Ballas back in the day, you would see shit tons of purple cars around grove street even before the chop shop update, which not only showed gang activity but brung more RP to the hood and made sense RPly, other than sticking it into a fat garage and calling it a day.
