  2. Big +1 Love the attention to detail on all the ideas.
  3. Think this could really help the server. Especially the prison uniforms for different level of prisoners! +1
  4. We are sorry you feel like this, but as @DrPathetic stated. If you felt something was wrong in this situation, please report and this situation will be handled. Each player plays there character different. It could be another officer makes the decision to wait for back up, and this officer felt it was necessary to come into the building and attempt to stop the robbery. It's feels less of 'fail rp' and more a choice on what that character would do in each situation.
  5. Seems like a small addition that would really benefit the players and the community! Big +1
  6. +1 I think this would be a great change to the bus route
  7. With the Ballas back and Queenie on her feet, things are looking up. Her first week on Grove made her feel like she was back being a teen on the streets. The color purple shines brightly back where it belongs. Back where Queenie belongs. She got to know many of the Ballas, some old and some new. Each of them with their own stories and wanting to work together to bring the hood back to what it could be. Each day is different. One day you could be held at gunpoint, risking your life and not knowing if you would live to see another day. On the next day, you could be kicking back in Grove and smokin it up with the homies. On those exciting days though, the gang had the chance to work together. And this gave Queenie perfect time to grind that money for the people, and herself. In these moments, where a brother and sister can stand side-by-side to earn an honest living, it really brings them together. No more thieving from each other, or looking for the next day of money to pay for food. They were comfortable and happy. Not only did Queenie have the chance to meet her new family, she had a chance to meet some interesting people. Two off duty police officers stopped by the Grove and tried to talk with the Ballas. Now to a brother or sister, PD rollin by off or on duty can be a bit sus. But, Queenie wanted to see what they were made of. Especially the PD lady. So, Queenie did the only thing she knew best, offer the PD woman a fight. At first, it looked like it would have been a good fight and Queenie would have had some respect for her. But, her ‘boyfriend’ stepped in and put a hold on the fight. Just proven to Queenie that PD has no backbone and all talk. Now since Queenie has been back, she has had a chance to make so many new friends. Some of these friends are from the gang down the street, Jack Boyz. One of the Jack Boyz, GW, helped Queenie out a lot. He took her on a trip out onto the town. This meant Queenie getting herself a new set of clothes and a fresh hair do. Things are looking up for Queenie and she knows the Ballas have a lot more exciting times ahead of them.
  8. At the DOC, Yuki will always go above and beyond for the people she cares about. Each person that signs on to become apart of the DOC automatically earns a place under Yuki's wing. She has worked at the DOC for almost a year now, over that time she has learnt many hardships. No more naïve little Asian. She has developed into a mature woman, who hopes to lead well. And she has too with all the new faces coming into the SADOC. Yuki likes to see herself as a mother, pushing her DOC children to work at the highest potential they can. Often the GFO command will take these fresh faced officers to the FSQ building and teach them a thing or two about clearing rooms in dangerous situations. With the lead of Lieutenant Jorge Lewis, they all learnt a lot. From a few tazers and friendly rivalry, we work hard but can have a little fun. At the DOC, days can be hard and very violent. It's trainings like this which can really help the new comers relax and gain some important experience. But, DOC doesn't just support their officers. They are there to lend a hand to the most vulnerable inmates that come into the cells. Harold Bartholemew is one of these vulnerable individuals who needs a lot of care and people he can trust. He lacks the ability to talk or communicate as everyone else does and has a lot of manic episodes. Unfortunately he got into a bit of trouble with SD and booked into DOC soon after. While he was there, CMT team did their best to keep him safe. Kourtney Parrish and Yuki worked closely with him, giving him Lego in the gym room and paper so he can write things down. He drew a lot of fun picture for us, demonstrating his likes for the city/DOC. From some of his beautiful drawings, Yuki learnt that he struggles with Police because he likes to stand on bridges and look at the birds. However, the police assume he is going to jump and scare him. Law enforcement will often ask for him to 'get down' and with his mental capacity, he does get down; but down off the edge of the bridge. After his sentence Yuki and Kourtney took up to the city and bought him a bike. He didn't have a license and isn't in the right state to drive his vehicle, so CMT wanted to help him travel around. He seemed very happy and excited for this, waving off the woman and went peddling off down the street. The CMT unit hopes to help more people like him. They want to show the city of Los Santos that we might be a maximum security prison, but we do care when people are at their lowest point.
  9. Queenie White was born and raised in the hood. Like most families, her mama was broke. Waiting each week for a welfare check that would only pay for basics. At the young age of 16, Queenie had enough and started hustling on the streets. She lied to her mama by telling her she had a small job at the corner store. But, she was sellin dope on the streets and taking her cut. Queenie got away with this for a while, paying for small things here or there. Her mama didn't need to know and their lives would get a little easier. Being on the streets Queenie got to know a lot of people and saw the Ballas in action. She never was apart of them back in the day, she was to naïve and was too busy hustling. But, she had made respect for everything they did. Even spoke them on the streets when she had the chance. Queenie felt like she was in her element. But, everything changed when she sold a large amount of dope to an undercover cop. At the time the cop offered her a lot of money and she took it, not thinking about who this man could be. Next thing she knew, she had her head fast down on the cop car and was sent to jail for over a year. After Queenie went away, her mama never spoke to her. No phone calls. No even a letter. She was alone for that whole year. It got even worse when she arrived back to Groove Street. There was no purple roaming the streets no more and her mama had died from a heart attack. Poor Queenie lost her shit. She got back into the drugs, couch surfing and get addicted pretty quick. This went on for a few years. Through her teens into her early 20s. She would do anything for a hit. Sell drugs, sell her assets and even sell her body. She kicked in that life after being robbed at gun point. It really shocked Queenie in realising what she become and booked herself into a local rehab quick. Being released from rehab she came back with a whole new mind set. Stay clean, stay safe. Queenie was worried at first, but when she saw Groove Street alive again and the Ballas were rolling around, she felt at home again. Quickly she got to know a few of the OG Ballas and settled down back where she belongs. All Queenie wants it to keep the community thriving and hope that all the future Ballas feel they have a place in this city.
  10. +1 Plenty of Properties that could be used!
  11. @DrPathetic and @LeroySimpsonRight up your alley
  12. +1 I think people would be more encouraged to have boats if there was a place to store them. It can be annoying having people steal them.
  13. +1 Chess sounds like a lot of fun! Having it as a mini game will really bring some fun to gambling. Could be good to add to the prison too! Wager stamps between each game
  14. I do agree with post. I always see gangs teaming together and focusing on their power by numbers. This can sometimes cause lack of community in their gangs. I have always thought gangs were to bring people together and have them work in a tight group, that were loyal to each other. Gangs should be about community and keeping this sense of community high between their members instead of focusing on wars/joint freqs. This idea of more numbers the better, really does make it difficult for smaller groups or gangs to have a start in the city. I've witness many small gangs being run out of the city because another gang or gangs have had the numbers to 'clap them all'. Although there should be a level of respect between gangs and a in written code between gangs, they should still be focused on their people and less focused on showing numbers. RPLY it should be gangs are very loyal to their own kind and hardly ever seen with other gangs unless it was for well thought out rp reasoning. I am sure if everyone works with their FM and other gangs oocly, we can balance out a high criminal rp for all!
  15. I know people IRL can get a life sentence for crimes. But, in the server i don't think people should have to spend 10 hours in a prison. The new prison has opened up a new level of RP for individuals, but even a great rp can't go on for 10 hours. There needs to be a cap on how much we can put someone in prison. As I am apart of the DOC faction, I've spoke to many inmates and some inmates have gained charges for up to 12 hours. And its been a very common acurance. POSSIBLE CHANGES: I recommend a cap of 5/6 hours. And maybe even charges to not be scriptly stacked. So it can help keep the hours down. Maybe a script added, so once you reach a certain amount of hours while adding charges, it won't allow you to add more. Also, I know IC actions equal IC consequences, but have we ever thought about adding community service? Could really add some rp, having people going around city helping to make it a better place. This can then be added on their record and help the person with legal jobs in the future. ((This could be an IC matter however. So not so much this in terms of script changes.))
  16. +1 Could even add an item that you will need to help hotwire the car!
  17. 1+ Would love to see more un the prison. Especially for inmates who have 10+hours! Some script additions can really help with inmates boredom.
  18. Big -1 This rule of DM has been around on the server for a long time. No matter the situation, no matter the person. Yes. You are an MSI, but MSI OOCLY is typically given to people who show a high level of rp skill and will allow rp and story to develop to reach a reason to DM. MSI/HVTs/inmates have plenty of rp opportunity within the DOC. MSI is strictly an IC label that DOC place on inmates that might attempt to harm or be a high security risk. Also, an characters motive should not be solely focused on attacking officers or other people. I understand people might have characters who are serial killers or psychopaths, who have deep mental issues. But, these characters still have motives and build their character; not just wanting to attack every person they see. We have a new prison, and we have agreed from the get-go that we would be strict when it comes to people randomly DM. Dm has been a continuous issue, which needs to be stop now. DOC has a zero tolerance for that behaviour. Especially since it's against the server rules. It takes away the fun for officers and inmates, if we are constantly being hit or attacked. In real prisons officer patrol around the cells and are respected/intimidated by officers because they know attack would be a high risk, low reward situation. I was the officer in question. The officer you tried to bash my head into the metal bars. My character was walking you to a cell and then you just decided to attack me, we had no prior rp leading to this. I asked you to come to a cell and placed you in a cell. That doesn't give you DM rights. Yes, I was alone with you and yes, you could have easily attacked me, if you had an rp reason to attack me. If my character and your character has previous rp interaction; which would want to make your character attack mine. The DOC now is a place for people to continue high level of rp and not be stopped by continues rule breakers. We all want to have fun, and dm is not fun.
  19. +1 This could work and add a bit of competition to DCC. Maybe change it from XP to more of experience or certain standards to reach higher ranks. All you need to do is get someone people together, some vehicles; good to go!
  20. I think if there was implemented tho, you would find a lot more opportunity for corruption and officer would be open to the idea.
  21. +1 I think this would be a good idea. If you can hear someone whispering on the radio, you would definitely be able to hear it on the phone!
  22. I dunno. It could work as a black market store. But, it isn't realistic for gangs to be going around hacking each other. If we could find a way to balance it out, then it could work.
