  1. expectation (probably true in a few scenarios): "A faggio run me over on the east highway, someone come with a trunk" reality (based on what I saw back when radio was allowed when injured): "CLEAN ME CLEAN ME CLEAN ME, THE ENEMY IS TO YOUR WEST BEHIND A BUSH" If there was a reliable way to differentiate between a shootout/fight and more natural injuries I could see this having more merit but I really think that this will lead back to a lot of non-rp and fuckery. I would argue that you and your friends having your phone off is a risk you are taking that they might not be contactable in the event of an emergency. Honestly on that topic it seems more like people turn their phones off as a "just in case" they're tracked over them actually being wanted anyway, but forgive me if I'm wrong there. Other solutions could be something like, you can use a radio 30-60 seconds after being injured, giving the opportunity for any active scene to calm down and get yourself help. But even then I'm not sure I'm convinced of that as an alternative.
  2. Properties should just work on the same system as houses where head admins can trigger automatic auctions for any properties where the owner doesn’t meet the activity threshold. That would free up more than enough abandoned properties.
  3. There’s a lot here but for now I just want to address one specific point, the kidnapping rules state: ”You are for example not allowed to kidnap random players off the streets to use them for other roleplay such as bank or store robberies, this must happen naturally at the locations you intend to perform a robbery on.” And for the situation yesterday I can confidently say there was a few people around the general area at the time, including myself who was stalking them all because I overheard someone talking about the bank when I was at the clothing store down the road . But I think this part of the rule is something worth keeping in mind that I don’t think a lot of bank robberies use, lingering around the area for an opportune legitimate hostage. edit: this was made prior to edits to the original post.
  4. Or just a tad more realistic, it can only be accessed from the front 2 seats. This'd be a nice simple thing that could work. You don't want someone yoinking shit you make em sit in the back
  5. They exist, when the posts are public and there's an initial starting point to go from. The rule specifies private groups, which there'd be no starting point and no way to follow through with any of what you said. Unlike IRL that have ways of tracking illegal things happening in private groups, that wouldn't be possible here without dedicating people to actually administrate the website beyond basic content deletion for ooc reasons.

    what you think

  7. 1 & 2: this rule only covers private groups because you can just make it so you and 4 buddies can see it. You can still use LI for illegal things, seen some people do smart things with it actually in the past. There’s no real IC follow-through for something a handful of people could only see, irl obviously there’d be actual systems in place for illegal activity happening, but that’s way beyond scope of a video game social media with the only real way of finding out would be a member of the group snitching. 3: lifeinvader faction is more just an IC cover for the event team and not really anything to do with the website. Not saying the idea in this point is bad, but that’s what lifeinvader faction is. 4: see first point, but it’s not that there’s risk, it’s that there’s basically no risk involved and it’d be very powerful. 5: I agree, to get away with what you describe would need some work done still. 6: removing IC forum changes nothing for illegals, as they couldn’t do anything they couldn’t already do there. They can attempt to sell illegal things on lifeinvader with risk attached The only way I could see this happening is if there was dedicated people being ic admins of the site that have access to browse these private groups, and idk how viable that is, both in terms of manpower and technically.
  8. Here's 2 extreme examples from a few years ago where basically all the positive reactions were from people who were affiliated with the post in question and the negative ones are who were on the "other side": (the cat with 74 reacts used to be the old downvote button I think) Your idea makes sense in an ideal world where people are sensible, but it was just honestly very toxic and damaging to feeding ooc tension with relationships between groups on the server. I don't know if this was the actual reason they decided to remove reactions in reports but I'd guess it was something along those lines. If a scenario came up where a wild decision happened and the community in general didn't think it made sense, there's the avenue of decision appeals where it can be explained more, and even after that the forum discussion areas where the general topics brought up in the report can be discussed which staff would look at.
  9. We used to have reactions on reports a long time ago, what actually ended up happening was rival factions would mass spam downvotes on their 'ops' and it was a toxic hellhole. It was less about showing whether people think things are valid, and more about supporting friends regardless of what they did and being negative on an ooc level to the other side.

    Masks and Hats

You can use the original haircuts can’t you so if you want to use masks and hats you should use them I believe it’s just a limitation of the newly added ones as they’re not actual GTA ones so don’t have interactions with headwear
  11. There is, but its 200 instead of the 900 burger shot gets, then on top of that non-VIP-non-work payments
  12. If that was the route that they go down, then a time limit on a specific driver generating revenue could solve this, say 30 minutes. That was more of an additional thing though, I mainly just think the 200/h should be 900/h instead
  13. tl;dr Up the hourly pay to $900 and/or make every vehicle going through give the worker $300 I have just worked the toll booth job to calculate its /h salary and it is awful. This was at server population 188-203 players over about 1.5 hours. Current pay system: $200 every 15 minutes IRL + $0-$300 per vehicle that goes through ($0 for VIP and work vehicles) Find a table below of the data after the initial 30 minute wait to even start collecting salary. The first 4 columns highlight the actuals. The VIP adjusted pay is what it could be like if someone with VIP using it still paid the worker The last 2 columns are what it could be like if the worker got paid for any vehicle going through. I don't know if I got unlucky, I may have missed a customer or two, but even if so, the pay is extremely bad compared to many other jobs. Especially when you consider 90% of people don't want to interact with you, they just want to pay and go on their merry way, and one of the toll booth locations you can't have a friend working with you. For comparison, at burger shot, where you get to actually interact with people, you get $900 in the same timeframe you get $200 here I believe (and more customers that 'tip'). Please bump up the "hourly" pay to 3x what it currently is at the least, and/or give pay to the worker for the people who get it for free. Thanks for coming to my TED talk
  14. CobbBlog county coverage soon @Chunder when is the mayor of grapeseed going to host a grapeseed-wide event
  15. This would be cool, my current solution is bags in the top row with notes on the bottom row with words written on of what’s in each bag…less than ideal
  16. "I can't hear you lets go inside" or /s "what? I didn't hear you" problem solved Also keep in mind, I am referring to just normal rain not just the super extreme thunderstorms that are very loud. Normal rain is very much bearable, but that also gets reset. And the thunderstorms are even rarer than the normal rain.
  17. Yo snap, I’ll merge our suggestions since I basically made the same one just now
  18. Unless maybe it’s for a public open event, we shouldn’t be changing the weather as often as we do. It’s been like 2+ months since I’ve seen rain in game because every time it happens it gets changed back to sunny, and I’m on almost every day for a few hours at peak times. ”but wah storms are too loud” - then go inside a house or property, shout or use text chat. Also storms are even rarer than normal rain, both keep getting changed. it is not like they are so frequent by default that it’s a nuisance either. Does the majority actually dislike it that much or do you think it’s an RP opportunity?
  19. Since we currently get /changeweather'd at any hint of rain or storm so its perma sunny, snow season allows to play things a bit differently. I think a month is good as it is.
  20. Is this house made out of supreme bricks or something to be priced that extortionate?
  21. I hate it, but I also frequent burger shot so it’s probably that
  22. I could see that working
  23. Gonna be honest, if that was the case they'd have allowed credit apartments to cook drugs. They'd have made hella bank if that was their focus. How do public labs make this happen? That's exactly what it meant, back then you'd rarely see criminals out and about, if they wanted to chill they'd just be sat semi afk in a house or property. Nowadays the people who want to cook drugs go to labs, creating more rp opportunities and those that don't aren't missing out on the "easy money" and are content chilling out in public which is a huge win for the community. Disclaimer, not a hardcore gangsta so my opinion isn't hugely relevant but if I can see the benefits from the outside I could imagine crim mains would also see it. Does suck my low-level crim character can't cook his own drugs from the one-table setup in his shed anymore though
  24. Or just have it so if someone who has keys to the car interacts with it, it counts to resetting the timer for despawn tbh but I could see the use of such a feature But so few people loan cars like this let alone face the issue I feel like it wouldn't need a whole new feature, you're in a unique situation because you have a lot of special vehicles.
