  1. :') My dude, I generally play the character paycheck to paycheck and using the money for rp during the week. I rarely saved it, and don't have a mountain of years of DOC paychecks (and assets before you say that) sitting around. I think anyone who interacts with me can back that up and knows I'm a broke bitch. But either way that's besides the point, you can do trafficker RP without a boat, in fact I have seen it done several times. One faction literally trafficked people, another alcohol to name some I've seen first hand. I do not doubt there's issues with getting money for criminals, in fact I can totally respect that after seeing a new guy grind and lose all of his shit after one arrest yesterday. But I don't think that pertains too much to the overall discussion. This isn't about money, it's about having things to do. And too many people rely on script support, specifically new updates (and also money) to have things to do. Sure if you want to make your gameplay revolve around things that cost money then yeah, that's a road block. The money issue is a totally different discussion to the one about having nothing to do or things getting repetitive. If things are repetitive then frankly, you're just not roleplaying enough and gamifying the scripted systems instead of generating your own scenarios and roleplay and things to do like you should in an RP server.
  2. I mean this just objectively isn’t true. Things being repetitive is on you, not the developers, there is absolutely enough content to keep busy. But obviously things will get boring and repetitive if you stick to the same stuff and don’t develop your rp.
  3. People complain when things are teased and take a while, and people also complain when there’s no communication. It’s a lose-lose really with the only option being teased and released fast, which results in unfinished or badly tuned updates, which then is more complaints. Do I think they could do with an extra dev or two, sure why not. But I absolutely understand why they wouldn’t want to let in another developer. I honestly think people are way too needy and just can’t be content with what they have. Getting to the sweet spot where you make do and rp with what we have is the best way to be and then any updates that do come our way, neat! I personally preferred when we had smaller more frequent updates like quality of life stuff over huge new systems but I’m not gonna go complaining that 2/3 of the current long projects are criminal things that have basically no relevance to my RP style because that’s just how it is.
  4. The worst bit is a bunch of bikes don’t even allow car speakers. So when I ride my faggio I can’t play music and just hear the humming for my long journey. however, going by your logic most cars should have car speakers by default since nearly every car irl has this functionality. Would be cool if stock cars came with one
  5. Cool idea but to be honest there’s too many grinders and people with literal millions that would make this just a money spawn. So a -1 on the interest part. However , I like the idea of something taking $x out if your salary until you hit a savings goal. For example: you want to buy a car for 100k but you are bad with money so you set the savings in the bank to 100k and it takes say 20% of your salary each time until you’ve hit that 100k then it’s there to withdraw. That would be a super fun mechanic and way to implement savings. Maybe withdraw early but at a cost or cool-down on making a new savings account.
  6. Should just be removed tbh. The ratio of time off for stamps is abysmal anyway. But I don’t go there as an inmate often so my opinion on that is limited
  7. Or as suggested for a long time, allow inmates (and guards) to buy stamps at like 4:1 ratio with bank money (when released stamps currently turn to cash at 1:3 so it could even be a small economy drain). That would also allow guard to participate and also purchase stamps as rewards and incentives for inmates behaviour (as opposed to the current system of spawned in stamps)
  8. Literally just make minimum bet 1. People don’t play to win money, they play to kill a minute of time in prison. Most inmates stamps are spent in food and drink, or robbed by the end of their sentence anyway so nobody cares about the money aspect.
  9. I don't like the idea of it being a credit thing, and think it could get silly with a bunch of them being there. The +30 casino penthouses as a baseline, this is muuch more unique and flashy and I imagine would be a bigger seller. So -1 from me for the credit aspect. BUT, I think this'd be a neat unique property like the islands possibly auctioned or something. So a property inside you could own and build in with a couple scattered around the coast and you'd RPly own the yacht. Them moving I don't think is viable technically speaking (I could be wrong), so they'd be static but I think it'd be a very cool RP enabler if someone super rich did stuff with them. The one off the coast of the pier has had many parties in its time as an un-owned one so I can imagine one owned by a player could generate some RP, especially with boat parking being a think making them more usable and helicopters being a thing.
  10. Could just use a taxi tbh but the suggestion does make sense overall
  11. There's definitely paranormal activities in Los Santos:
  12. Also, it's easy to go criticising macro RP from MDs side but that works both ways, when a huge chunk of people don't go to the effort of doing more than /do broken arm or a few bruises. The creativity is on the victim of the injury not the medic, they respond to what rp you generate. As mentioned in above replies, if you put the effort in to create more unique scenarios, MD usually always go with it if they can. All it took was me to do a quick /pm to the medic on scene that I'm going down the route of losing the leg for them to adapt and work on a neat storyline with me on treatment, surgery, aftercare etc that generated literally months of RP. Overall the issues presented In this thread are an issue with people's lack of effort and RP when it comes to medical RP. Would a bit of better script support be cool in enhancing it, absolutely for example /mywounds is very bad and barely functions as a guide to work from. But ultimately I wouldn't say it should be a priority of development when it can be improved by people just roleplaying at a better quality. Also, I am sure MD leadership and/or legal faction management would like to hear if someone from MDs side is not providing adequate RP from the medical side
  13. I will never be a plankton, Krusty Krabs 2.0 on top!
  14. What you're talking about here is 5 players out of the entire playerbase, if that. Sure it'd be cool if the islands were a major feature of the server but this impacts so few people (most of which already have the island how they want it after the furniture changes a long time ago) that this just wouldn't be worth the developer time making features for. Also, to my knowledge, those with furniture removed got compensated for it.
  15. Hi Kazjii! It's great to meet you. I'm glad you decided to create this thread and share some fun facts about yourself. From what you've shared so far, it sounds like you have some interesting hobbies and interests. For example, you mentioned that you're a Marvel fan and that you love the Sheriff's Department. I can relate to both of those things, as I'm a big fan of Marvel and I think that law enforcement is an important and noble profession. I also think that Bathsheba's are amazing, as you mentioned. I'm not sure what you're referring to specifically, but I'm always happy to learn about new things and discover new interests. Speaking of which, I'm curious to learn more about your culinary icon status. Are you a professional chef or just someone who enjoys cooking at home? Either way, I'm sure you have some interesting stories to share. Finally, I must say that I find your admiration for the phrase "pee pee poo poo" to be quite amusing. While I don't think I would use that phrase myself, I can appreciate the fact that it's a legendary comeback statement. I'm looking forward to seeing how you update this thread as your birthday approaches, and I hope that you have a great day!
  16. - The business licensing reimbursements: Does that apply to their subsidiaries because I know some legal factions have like 10 subsidiaries that arent really part of the faction to spread costs and charge them for it (are they pocketing the difference if so?) - A suggestion for legal factions (and maybe illegals) could be access to a SA+ for a little while through requests to do some custom decorating (just a few pieces, not full on renovation) ) at their faction properties given to them with props that are not in furniture store, for example a helipad that Assured has)
  17. The risk is 15 minute jail and $1000, in what way is it not worth the risk-reward?
  18. The argument can be made the other way that a tiered indicator instead of number would mean more people go to the mechanics for preventative repair instead of running it as close to 400 as they can before getting repairs, because let's face it, so many people do that "it'll only stall at X number so no need to get a repair yet" then end up stalling still and requiring roadside
  19. I'm unsure how the way it's displayed has any relation to whether there's mechanics or not. This suggestion isn't modifying anything to do with how it works, just how it's displayed I think.
  20. Completely remove it in place of a check engine light at say 500 imo. Mechanics on duty could "service" a car for a low price or even free to see what the current actual number is to see if it requires repair or not maybe.
  21. Honestly, the fdos for advertising are bad enough right now and require a lot of moderation. I feel like this is a solution to a problem nobody really has. If this gets implemented every property would have a giant billboard on. Furniture like a small poster or for sale sign that has a more permanent fdo text on would be nice in-between that you can place on your property would be cool.
