Are you currently banned from connecting to ECRP? This is the pop-up that appears if you are banned from the server. Try logging in from Rage to find out, since your access to the panel is revoked when banned. If you are banned, ask on Discord #i_have_a_question for a staff member to look at the reason why you were banned and make an appeal (if it didn't show you when connecting).

-1 in general to the scripted neighborhoods system. Roleplaying that your gang/crew owns that neighborhood is enough in my opinion. An example of a gang that does this well in my opinion is WCA who controls Del Perro and even without scripts I can see them hanging around when I pass by. What I would hate to see from these kinds of "capture points" is that it starts to feel like you're no longer roleplaying but playing a Call of Duty match. Things what would come from this are "bro lets go to Strawberry to capture it." Capturing a neighborhood would seem like a short term goal to people and once they log off some other gang would've already claimed it. Realistically, when a gang owns a hood they won't be recaptured by some other gang at night when they go to bed. I believe that this kind of system would encourage metagaming as you don't have to actually look for gang members to know of their neighborhood. How I found out about Del Perro being WCAs hood was completely unintentional, which is how it should be. But if I can just see on the map then there would'nt be any excitement on moments like those. Another point I want to mention, is the limit on how many chops or labs are able to be put up with your dynamic locations idea. It wouldn't be realistic that just because 2 gangs far away from where you are set up some labs you're not allowed to. But I do agree to some extent that the druglabs should not be static. I prefer the way gangs control territories as they do now. What we need is higher quality gang roleplay in RPing a hood they own.

Agreed. I've had a couple of taxi calls of Sheriffs being stranded in Pillbox after dying on duty. A bit hard to explain in RP when I asked them why didn't they go to Sandy. +1

This probably was due to an issue with the panel itself, as it has happened multiple times to myself. This probably shouldn't be an issue anymore, but if it still is then try verifying your email again and wait for a moment.

Usually it will take quite some time to reach your email inbox. My friend had a similar issue and the fix on the front page fixed it for him. If nothing works, try changing your email adress to gmail or yahoo as those seem to be foolproof. I've personally never tried using outlook.

If noone can hear you and you've tried all the /voicereset commands try running away until his nametag dissapears and then come back. Lately this method has worked much better than /vr. Also, if at any point you disconnected your headset while on rage that has your mic attached to it, just restart the game. As for me it destroys all the VOIP elements in Rage.

Sometimes when your quiz answers get denied the staff member reviewing it doesn't include a reason as to why. Best is to just try again. Also, this subforum is perfectly OOC. If you enter an IC section it will state on the subforum. If you still want to post OOC on there then use the good old brackets (( )).

Why would they be run over by gangs for doing it legit? When I was a new player I grinded the postal job till I could buy an apartment for 130K. Even though its somewhat boring, I still get to see some action now and again while driving around. Some factions start accepting people from 3000 XP (the mechanic shops to name). If anything, its much MUCH more easier to make money legit than illegaly as you literally get paid to talk to people and actually roleplay (a plus imo as grinding druglabs aren't my thing, its just you making things from the script and then selling to a script. The only roleplay you'll get are those 'hands hands'). Its not that people that want to make money are forced to do crimes, its that they want to do crimes. If their only motivation was money they would've just gotten an actual faction job.

PD will always be smaller than the amount of gangs, non-gang criminals, and civilians. There is no way they can regulate every last citizen for driving violations let alone catch them. Why wouldn't they invest in speeding cameras to help them? No its a perfectly IC punishment since you chose to do the crimes. If you're admin jailed for something you did OOCly then that would be an OOC punishment. Also, I believe this is the thread you're referring to that I made in August: Notice I highlighted reckless being given out by cameras only. I'm down for the tickets since speeding is a choice.

What is punishing you OOCly? The fines are only in IC currency. Noone is taking your IRL money. Yeah I made a post about speeding tickets once, I said to stop putting out reckless when caught by cameras. I think they should be reserved for actual PD units as they have the capability as people to look at a scenario and judge accordingly. A good example would be when I was going 180kmph in a DCC Super Diamond and a cop pulled me over. I wasn't even given a ticket let alone a warrant because I was carrying someone to the hospital. I still think regular fines for speeding and especially crimes should stay.

Maybe... don't do crimes and don't speed? I work as a taxi driver and have to drive around town everytime I'm on duty. I'm not complaining about speeding tickets cause I keep my speed down. Since I drive so often, I don't use the GPS routes often times since although it does show me the shortest distance route, I can go much faster if I took that highway instead. I think thinking like this comes from experience instead of just speeding on regular roads and complaining when you get ticketed. On my criminal character once I lost bigtime a bag full of drugs was lost cause I was stopped by a cop who had a warrant in to arrest me for speeding. I lost my gun license and I was heavily fined. I'm not complaining, since I made the choice to be a criminal on that character, and since jail time is only a few hours IRL where in reality I would've been in for a couple years I think the fines make sense to be there. TL,DR: Don't do crimes if you can afford to pay for it. As a new player I'd recommend trying civilian RP till you get the hang of things. Keep your speed down, its not like it takes too long. Smarter route choices.

Actually, no I didn't judging that I didn't get any punishment and that whoevers gang that DM'd you I was not with. For the record, I was ready to just go to forums for the powergaming and it was actually your members who called in an admin ig. Not to mention be disrespectful and have to bug in every second when me and the admin are trying to determine whether it was DM or not. You seem to be really keen in recruiting powergamers as the two players in the first report are in your gang. Same powergaming and very poor RP.

Was excited at first when I saw you guys were back, then I got into a scenario with you guys and 2 people powergamed and 1 didn't even understand the powergaming rule even when an admin explained he broke rules. Dissapointed.

Awesome end of the betrayal story ark. One question, did Revelt agree to a PK or did you guys just kill him for the RP? Because if you make the story about executing him and next thing you know hes walking around alive and well doesn't make much sense.

The problem with reporting only borderline non-RP actions at Bank is because of this requirement. While it is non-RP to be jumping on top of cars, dancing on top etc. if you report someone for this is will just be denied and people will call you petty. Believe me someone has reported things like this before just for it to get denied. Unless they start enforcing people to act like normal people I don't see people getting punished for this when reported anytime soon.

Slight bump, as I don't see this issue as being adressed at all, if anything might have gotten worse with even more people using Bank to just park their cars and go offline and then just people chasing you around being racist and just an ass then refuse to actually roleplay when you pull out real commands like /me and /do.

Please no to these fortnite animations. Imagine rolling up to Bank and have 12 people doing fortnite dances in a "roleplay" server. Yes to more anims that can be actually useful in roleplay, no to more dance animations.

Yes I actually was the one who reached out to him regarding the issue. It works fine for ig and discord the only thing missing now is forums.

Im pretty sure that people who were banned for cheats have been all unbanned per the announcement that was made a couple days ago on discord.
