  1. Clothing Stores being turned to businesses is something that's been kind of rumoured to arrive soon anyway. The only issue is that specifically for clothing stores the items would fluctuate in price so much if they are player owned. I really don't want to pay 30k for a mask you feel? Idea is good in general but would really need to be thought out.
  2. Great idea. No idea about the most optimal/realistic way to incorporate both but it makes a lot of sense to have both these jobs linked to clothing/furniture stores.
  3. With a small selection of legal jobs, why not add more for people to pick between and have a better civilian life? Leatherworking /skin will use a equipped knife to skin the dead animal carcass of it's hide/skin (30s anim). Transport the raw hide to the garment factory where you can tan and sow the skin (30s anim per piece) Take the fine leather hide to the nearest clothing store and drop it off somewhere inside for $$$ Hunting Locations & Garment Factory Lumberjack /chop will use an axe to chop one of the trees in the surrounding area and receive X amount of wood (30s-1min with a 5 min same tree cooldown) Use the saw at the sawmill to convert the pieces of wood to pieces of lumber (15s per piece of wood) Drop the pieces of lumber off inside the sawmill at the lumber stacks for $$$. Possibly make wooden pieces quite heavy, requiring trucks etc to transport them. Since this job is done all within the sawmill/the surrounding area the amount of $ earned per lumber piece should be relative or the animations should take longer to equal the payout with other jobs. Sawmill Let me know what everyone thinks, proposed changes etc.
  4. Allow purchasing of gun racks or lockers that can be placed in a home (blacklisted outside). Should fix the hassle of storing many heavy weapons between safes/bags etc. Maybe this could be implemented inside 4G's naturally, otherwise it must be bought to be placed in smaller apartments/homes? Features: - Can hold X amount of weapons, ammo and attachments (grouped weight limits, not global) - Requires a small animation of 5-10 seconds as the weapon is taken out/chambered - Locked/Unlocked (RP it being behind a closed door or something) (p.s The image below is to represent how it would look in the 4G interior naturally, in smaller houses it would simply be lockers bought at the furniture store)

    Legion

I know a lot of you guys in Legion personally and it's dope how far you're coming along as a new group. Love you all
  6. Will be listing a wide range of suggestions in this thread, providing benefits and disadvantages for them too. The idea is to have a good list of stuff here, striking them as they are added or notes on potential updates for them. If you want to clarify, go against a specific idea or whatever you can reference it using the section identifier in brackets and then the number/subnumber e.g "(C1) this can be abused by xxx" or "(G2.2) I agree" Command Suggestions (C): 1. /fixdimension - Automatically move you in and out of a second dimension to fix many related bugs. Simply put, for a lot of users who sometimes find themselves in the wrong dimension they can use this command to put them into a second dimension that automatically returns them to the first after 5 seconds. Cannot be used while holding weapons, plus some other requirements so it's not abused (maybe in NCZ's only? Maybe you have to stay still for at least 20 seconds before it teleports you between dimensions?). 2. /speakervolume [all|nearby|id] [0-100] - Add global (all) and local (nearby) variables to speakers. Again, this simply lets you globally set the volume of speakers or just the ones nearby to a specific volume. Not to name names but someone putting 10 speakers outside of a store to ward off robbers because they need to do about 5-10 /speakervolume commands is quite annoying. This also allows you to just mute the speakers if they are nearby quickly rather than looking for its ID (also sometimes you can't find the speaker, but you can hear it). 3. /togglehat - Let users toggle hats on/off Putting this here as it's been requested a lot, pretty straightforward. 4. /saveoutfit [name] | /equipoutfit [name] | /outfits - new commands to save, equip and check current outfits. The idea would be that this command can only be used inside a home, having all the clothes from X outfit in the stash (in bags) or possibly adding a brand new feature of wardrobes. This command is just a really rough idea and can be expanded on. General Suggestions (G): 1. High End Car Market --i) Allow the changing of vehicle prices without needing to take it off the market --ii) increase it's size or add a second location (the car park is huge yet we're using about 15% of it - at least double its size or add a second bay that has a 7% tax) 2. House Management --i) Let us change the price of a house that we have up for sale without needing to buy it back first (put a house up for sale, couldn't change the price) --ii) Add a "rented to" system that lets someone else have semi ownership of a house (can add other people to keys but can't remove the main owner) and let them pay the rent the owner has setup weekly at the door in the E menu. (Imagine a "Rent" column that says "Amount Due: $15,000, Due on 06/31/19" with "PAY NOW" button) 3. Watch Accessory being useful Let it actually tell you the IC time when you do the /time command. Require your phone to be on at least once for a few minutes every 24-48 hours IC for your watch to be calibrated properly, otherwise it slowly begins telling you the wrong time by an hour or so. 4. Updating Drug Icons Give all of the drugs new, unique looks rather than just a white bag of coke. Because thats exactly how I order my weed to be made. 5. Make jerry cans purchasable at gas stations RPly fill it up, it takes fuel from the station as expected, put it in your inventory and walk back to the car. I'm talking specifically the pumps and not from the store clerks. will add more as I think of some or collectively group up more for the list.
  7. This. 100%. Slowly automating everything is pushing the server in a direction closer to GTA:Online rather than a roleplay server. Everytime I have to wait more than 30 minutes for my car out of impound I just get reminded I should have paid for my parking ticket, or not done something that would get it impounded. Sure, it sucks waiting for your car. But you don't always wait such a long time, sometimes Phillipe arrives in seconds
  8. Pretty simple QoL change, being able to search at the top of the contact list for names and have it filter would be really great. I have so many contacts that sometimes looking for one name on the list takes up 5 minutes of my time.
  9. Simply put, if you have keys to a vehicle you should be allowed to park it in the house garage as long as the owner of the vehicle also has keys to access the garage. To prevent someone stealing a car, require the owner of the vehicle to be within a few feet of the house it will be parked at when keys are given, so they know which house it's in. To prevent "stealing", if the owner of the house removes someones keys while their vehicle is in the garage - have it be sent to Mors automatically with no fee. People unpark their friends vehicles all the time and just can't park it back. Small QoL change that would be beneficial imo.
  10. Allow prisoners to have jobs inside prison, make a little circle marker like at the mines and give them the opportunity to do some jobs. Have people sweep the yard, go out with some guards to chop wood, do the prisoners laundy, have a kitchen where prisoners can cook meals for others etc. That way, people can chose to be alone in their cells, socialise or go on jobs and earn a little bit of money while in prison.
  11. To the OP. No, If you want to make more money as a group then consider moving to a weed-planting lab or doing store robberies. Why not even do the old tactic of destroying a nearby labs crafting table and just stealing the materials? Not a bad Idea to be honest, not against it but would like to see it fleshed out a little more. Why does breaking the glass alert the police? Agreed, again would like to see some more ideas but allowing non-official gangs to buy laptops would be fun, specifically to do a multitude of things. Keep the black market exclusive to official gangs though. I've played both Crim and Legal now and have views on both sides to this argument. You're right that legal shouldn't be paid higher, and people seem to forget about the risks/rewards. If you go into LSD alone, and can OOCly be there for an hour - you have hit 4 restock cycles, giving you 32 LSD and 24 meth. Let's say at even a LOW price of 300 for both LSD & Meth you'd get a MINIMUM of $16,800. Bare in mind this is LOW and they never share the same price, so you're looking at more normally but for the sake of this point I'm giving them low values. Now let's compare this to what you get paid for doing a legal job, which have base pays of 5k AVG per OOC HOUR. Do you see that Criminals, with the risk they have, can make more money than a legal character? Albeit the reason legals "have more money" is because their jobs don't have immediate, funding-loss risks like getting their drugs stolen. Picture this, it's a Saturday and you roll up at LSD lab. Server has 100+ members so restocks are full. You walk in and to your surprise it's empty! You start cooking and have somehow rolled a 6 on luck, managing to cook for 3 hours without getting clapped by a convoy of Zetas. In these 3 hours, you have been able to cook 144 combined LSD/Meth. You manage to get to a selling point and have made (using our figures from before) about $43k. Meanwhile a PO1 who's been dealing with store robberies, car chases, probably been shot at a few times and has been involved in a massive gang shootout has made.... 15k legally... Yeah we can say "oh but the Chiefs and Commanders get like 10k+ an hour how is that fair?" - They have worked hard for their position and have undoubtedly put a lot of time and effort into their department, so have been rewarded for doing so with better financial income. All in all, crims can easily make more money than gov jobs if you play it smart and roll a little bit of luck. Gov jobs don't make as much but they have the financial stability to know that "my cash isn't at risk". So yeah, I guess illegal does have better money overall unless you're a high rank legal worker. With the addition of mining and hunting, crims and legals both have some alternative ways to make money now too. So I do currently like where it's at, however crim side does seem a little stale as of recent
  12. Good points here, overall though why not just flair someone's name with a different colour if they have changed it and you haven't updated the alias? If someone changes their name, set their name as pink. If someone has CK'ed, maybe if it would be possible to do /report for an admin to toggle the persons name as blue to all who have them aliased for a week or so. That way, if you see a pink name you can assume they have changed their legal name but are the same character (so just RPly talk to them and let them explain if they got married or something) and if it's blue you know to reintroduce yourselves to them. This can obviously be explained and most likely thought of in a better way but is a starter point.
  13. Clothing and Customization could use some additions! Gloves (example: one, two, three) - great for minimalistic appearances and maybe just the final touch to any outfit! Firearms Belt (example: one, two) - more realistic approach to shoving a .50 cal in your trouser waistline. Could be used by off duty cops too. PD Tactical Belt / Badge [Restricted to PD] (example: one) - Uniforms aren't always worn, especially on in-house paperwork and investigations. Maybe officers from IB who bring people into questioning for example or seargeants etc coming in to just handle some paperwork.
  14. -1 on the additional NCZones, I'll lay out two things I think could be done though. Add a second parking lot - some people have found some locations that work. Increase time in jail/consequences of actions, however don't make them unreasonable. These two should hit those points about the parking lot thieves and should detract gangs from wasting time robbing someone that could get them a longer prison sentence.
  15. -1. You wait for the good things in life..
  16. +1 this sounds like real war, not just looking for enemy convoys
  17. Pretty simple, but having the car whisper (/cw) changed to a different color would be great. Right now since it's the same sometimes people think they are being whispered privately when everyones in a car and it can get confusing. Just a small quality of life change that would be good. Proposing it's changed to a completely different color or have a [CW] tag before the message of the person who's whispering
  18. Bumping this, would like to see this being fixed as if it's stock red it could ruin car designs...
  19. Most Irish I have met have been decent people and fun to be around, most IC interactions with them is fun and they treat you with respect IC & OOC. Big props to all of them.
