VDM is most of time time being committed by people who are misinterpreting the rules. This misinterpretation has caused a lot of misuse of vehicles as weapons, resulting in players getting their first DM punishment, and victims getting their RP ruined. My suggestion is pretty simple, reword the current VDM definition: Vehicles cannot be used to attack a player on foot more than once, including a failed attempt To something more clear: Vehicles may not be used as a weapon to ram others during an ongoing scene more than once Sent from my iPod Touch

-1, as others have said before, it RPly makes no sense, I could be in favor of Taxis having a built in radio with a dispatch. Or possibly even mechanics having their own CB radio within their tow trucks. Regardless either wouldn’t be able to be used after you exited the vehicle. A scripted freq is just OOC protection from the rest of the server, PD excluded for role play reasons of course.

+1, as a member who has been in both legal and illegal factions, I don’t see the harm in increasing the maximum amount of ranks in the illegal faction F4, as it basically creates an OOC limitation on the IC RP potential.

Triads had about 8 members when we got word about Official. If I were you I'd re-evaluate what constitutes as "providing good RP". The numbers only go so far, the rest is up to you and your faction to prove that you're positively impacting the server, even as a criminal faction.

-1 Official is about providing strong RP that has an actual impact on the server, it’s not about money or guns. This isn’t really a gang war type server, so I don’t see this as fitting for a new format.

Big +1, as a community member who browses the forums and punishment section often, I have to agree that the removal was a shock. I understand making things confidential and private, i.e., usernames, characters, punishment history, is a good thing, but the Punishment Appeals section is a very useful place for members who want to play by the rules and make sure their interpretations are on par with staff members. Creating a gap between the staff and the community in this way may not prove to be as beneficial as first though. Not trying to insult staff in any way/shape/form. I trust the staff in their decision making, I just want to be able to know what those decisions are by reading punishment appeals, etc.

Considering that most people within a gang on this server have been to jail, it makes little to no sense to be calling the cops as a criminal/gang member. You could be like 6ix9ine and snitch your way out, for your own benefits, just realize the image you’re portraying for yourself, and your gang ICly. Or you could be like Shmurda and take more time in jail for your boys to get out sooner. There’s two sides to the coin, one is heads for a reason, and one is tails. Snitching leaves a bad stink in the air. Gang affiliated or not. Thuggin’ it and saying fuck it ima get out the pen whenever, and taking more time, in my book, is far more respectable. At the end of the day you’re role playing being in a gang and someone in your gang decides to call cops cus they can’t handle the situation, they’re pussy ICly. Not a real gangster. Not “hard”.

I am the owner of this Island, Sandy Island. I can confirm this bug has been sent to Osvaldon a few months ago by Zach_Wong. When we had this issue in the past, the only solution we could find was taking down furniture until the Building limit was no longer over its capacity. Either: The building limit should prevent us from placing more furniture, so it does not give an error when approaching the distance that it would be rendered at. or if possible, please increase the building capacity, as this is an expensive property that exists in the server solely to be built on. I’d be OK with an action timer if I don’t have to Rp /me carries him without hurting his injuries /do would I be successful? That takes about 5-8 seconds to type out, if the action timer was within that range, and made it so the /ame was enough RP instead of typing out the me’s and do’s then I wouldn’t mind. Overall though, -1, as the RP is enough when done properly.

I have to agree, that the Chief of Police being corrupt makes 0 sense in terms of an Official Faction Steel, Palmer, Cross, all were high ranking Detectives with lots of privileges, so I can understand some minor corruption, like removing charges, or even turning a blind eye to some crimes - but the level of corruption should be limited to just that. Seeing Steel shoot shit with a Tec-9 was cool and all, but makes 0 sense RPly, as no cop would ever be allowed to use an unlicensed, illegal firearm, especially since RPly they have access to Military-grade carbines. Tldr: Just limit the corruption to pettier crimes, as too much can be game breaking to roleplay between Crims and Cops. Also: none of my statements are meant to slander any officer or their current status, speaking solely of the instances i’ve run into.

+1, I’m all for this as long as the same applies to PD, I’ve seen cruisers go flying over off road hills, most likely on accident though. I would also like for High Speed Units that get deployed to be bound by the same NonRP standard of driving it off-road. I agree that it’s somewhat contradicting to have a NonRP rule for ramming and damaging your expensive car, when driving off road would be just as bad for it.

This seems like an IC issue, why on earth would someone in a gang knowingly allow their gang members get arrested with the knowledge that they have an extremely illegal firearm on their person? Would you not go out banging? Would you sit on the sidelines? The three largest gangs butt-chins with PD because that’s the common enemy. It’s a shame people still get mad that the biggest gangs have undergone countless RP situations to get where they are today. Wanted, Rooks, Triads, Zetas, have all been in the server for multiple months, conducting RP. Is War RP the only RP big gangs provide? people are so Butthurt about the Triads and Zetas not fighting each other, but know absolutely nothing about the IC story that came with it. P.s. Triads have OOC rules against engaging on cops, so saying the “big two” cop bait is just an /anim palm
