  1. It’s a suggestion to hopefully provide any kind of update to the criminal life of the server. Should be straightforward if you read it.
  2. I also noticed it was said in his stream that it wasn’t going to be an official faction thankfully, still though, I have concerns about adding a national guard before even attempting an update for criminals.
  3. There’s a National Guard being put in place, along with the San Andreas Aviation Association. A new law enforcement faction. All of this, while 2 new gangs receive official status and access to the Dream Market or “Dark Web”. The computer itself is bugged and shows nothing. Is there going to be a time when Senior Staff and development genuinely work towards new additions OUTSIDE of LEO? We had received a sneak peak of portable drug labs months ago, to no avail. Osborn has started to build the Judicial system, but the main concern on almost every criminal’s mind is: “are they going to add anything to keep us around and keep us entertained?” Ive been playing for over a year now. I’ve been a criminal since I started ECRP and the RP feels truly neglected by many. After a year of running labs, cooking drugs, and shooting people, the fun dries out. The labs are static, the gangs all result to the same ooc driven behavior, and when it’s against PD, crim RP is always to blame. The RP becomes stale when there’s absolutely nothing to do script wise. I’ve created lots of RP scenarios outside of what the script allows like cooking food and serving it at our restaurant and buying specific things from stores that can’t actually be bought in game, and that only goes so far. I’ve been in a leadership position within triads for many months, i’ve had access to the pinnacle of crim rp, the dream market, for most of my time on the server. But nothing has changed in months, the Dream Market is the same with barely any ammo to support all 5 official gangs. The only updates regarding criminals have been the prison afk system, the weapon concealment change, and the attachment bug. TLDR: Crims need love, is anyone actively working on providing us with something to improve the possibilities of our Roleplay? Edit: SAAA is admins having fun and even though it’s addressed ICly by a faction, it is not to be taken seriously.
  4. -1, why just drags? If you want realism, which is what you’re implying by stating a drag shouldn’t have as much fuel as a 4 wheel vehicle, then all SUVs should burn through gas faster, all sports cars should have smaller tanks, etcetera. There’s no point in this suggestion unless they planned on doing it to every vehicle type.
  5. -1, that’s literally farming money into your bank with 0 risk of losing it.
  6. Work for your money like they did? lmao what a ridiculous comment. Shit ain’t sweet you’re not gonna get rich complaining about shit
  7. +1, solid suggestion
  8. Nice video, good highlight(s)
  9. same
  10. 2 cops, 1 riot van for each one, not a waste

  12. -1/+1 , I can understand flashlights and scopes. RPly that makes sense, but a Huge -1 for any other attachment. PD doesn’t pay for their weapons as is, which is a powerful mechanic. Whereas criminals pay for each and every attachment, not to mention there’s countless bugs around having attachments on guns. If PD were to get scripted weapons with attachments, i’d say to balance it out, criminals would firstly need the stripping ammo bug that removes the attachment forever to be fixed, AND PD would need to start paying small amounts from their Treasury for weapons taken out. Preferably import price of the weapon they use. All in all, I don’t see this as an urgent need on the server until bugs are sorted, and imports are changed. You guys get a lot as PD, and I personally think you take it for granted at times.
  13. I have to disagree. There are countless player reports with players getting VDM punishments because they thought they could ram multiple people as long as they didn’t ram the same person more than once. My clarification is specified for that exact reason. Thanks for your input though.
  14. VDM is most of time time being committed by people who are misinterpreting the rules. This misinterpretation has caused a lot of misuse of vehicles as weapons, resulting in players getting their first DM punishment, and victims getting their RP ruined. My suggestion is pretty simple, reword the current VDM definition: Vehicles cannot be used to attack a player on foot more than once, including a failed attempt To something more clear: Vehicles may not be used as a weapon to ram others during an ongoing scene more than once Sent from my iPod Touch

  16. -1, as others have said before, it RPly makes no sense, I could be in favor of Taxis having a built in radio with a dispatch. Or possibly even mechanics having their own CB radio within their tow trucks. Regardless either wouldn’t be able to be used after you exited the vehicle. A scripted freq is just OOC protection from the rest of the server, PD excluded for role play reasons of course.
  17. Triads had about 8 members when we got word about Official. If I were you I'd re-evaluate what constitutes as "providing good RP". The numbers only go so far, the rest is up to you and your faction to prove that you're positively impacting the server, even as a criminal faction.
  18. -1 Official is about providing strong RP that has an actual impact on the server, it’s not about money or guns. This isn’t really a gang war type server, so I don’t see this as fitting for a new format.
  19. -1 Just mod the game for yourself, there’s more important stuff for the dev team to focus on than this

  21. this made me want to be born deaf
  22. +1
  23. /amembers gives the usernames of the staff so that doesn’t even seem to be a big issue
  24. Big +1, as a community member who browses the forums and punishment section often, I have to agree that the removal was a shock. I understand making things confidential and private, i.e., usernames, characters, punishment history, is a good thing, but the Punishment Appeals section is a very useful place for members who want to play by the rules and make sure their interpretations are on par with staff members. Creating a gap between the staff and the community in this way may not prove to be as beneficial as first though. Not trying to insult staff in any way/shape/form. I trust the staff in their decision making, I just want to be able to know what those decisions are by reading punishment appeals, etc.
