  1. -1. You shouldn’t be storing your car overnight at your place of work and expect it to not get robbed.
  2. I would be fine with this. Illegal items such as guns, drugs, and drug supplies should be lootable, and the rest they should respawn with (GPS, Map, food, clothes, etc.).

    The Rooks

    Congrats on official team!
  4. As the title says, new players should be lootable when they're dead. I understand the point is to prevent new players from getting upset if they die unfairly, but it allows for ridiculous RP scenarios where new players can run into labs, suicide with heavies, and lose nothing. There's no difference between looting someone when they're injured and them losing it versus them losing it upon death.
  5. Here's a full list of animations that are in GTA V (v1734): https://alexguirre.github.io/animations-list/ Here's a list of animations given by the RAGE Wiki: https://wiki.rage.mp/index.php?title=Animations "There are 15674 animation dictionaries. There are 156119 animation clips." As you can see, there are a lot of animations in GTA V. Someone has to sit there and sort through each one in order to find good animations that fit the action. (albeit some are sorted, which helps a ton, but there are still a lot of animations) If anyone knows how to make a script that can run through the animations (or has a script that does this), you could pick out specific ones and suggest them to the devs. You'd probably get your suggestion implemented much quicker this way. Edit: After doing more research, there's 156,119 possible animations. You have to sit there and go through tons of animations just to find the right ones. (There's more than 9,000 results when you look for "dance" in the animations file).
  6. Needless to say this has been suggested before, and talks of it are already in the works. We've also put forth our suggestions to the devs and they're aware that drug labs are one of the most wanted updates regarding Criminal RP. It takes time to design, implement, balance, and maintain since it's such a major update to Criminal RP. Just give it time.
  7. Date and time (provide timezone): 12/2/2019 10:48 AM (CST) Character name: Jae_Fang Issue/bug you are reporting: After placing a certain amount of furniture, this bug happens. When approaching the island, an error/warning pops up on the screen as noted in the evidence. If you close out of the warning, you can still play as usual. When you get to the island, none of the furniture actually loads in, but if you type /removefurniture you can take furniture down. Expected behavior: While approaching the island, there shouldn't be an error code and furniture should load in as normal. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: 1. Place down a bunch of furniture on your property (in my example, an island). I'm not sure the exact # of furniture that you need to place in order for the bug to happen. 2. After leaving the island and returning, a warning will pop up on your screen and you have to close out of it in order to keep playing. 3. When you approach the island, the furniture will not load in, but it can be removed if you type /removefurniture. https://imgur.com/a/rdyR1Vr If accessing the JSON string was possible, it would be very easy to debug. If there's a hardcoded limit to how much furniture we can place, it should be increased. Vehicle license plate number*: N/A
  8. Looks nice. Excited to see what comes from this
  9. How’d you get a phone into your cell dawg. Ain’t no way your hole that big
  10. +1. I think the root of recent debates is not having other options in terms of vehicles. More content is needed, and new cars have been suggested for a while.
  11. I was going to make a suggestion about this but seeing this is already a thread (albeit old), I feel like it’s worth bumping. +1
  12. +1 but it shouldn’t be done through commands. It should be done through the clothing stores themselves in the event you don’t have that clothing item on you and need to purchase it. Simply purchase multiple clothing accessories and save it to an “outfit” preset in the store. Be allowed to rename those outfits, buy each individual item separately, and it would make for a great system.
  13. Nobody is forcing you to play legal. Nobody is forcing you to commit crimes either. If you don’t like spending money on fines... maybe you should find a way to stop getting the fines? If fines are cheaper than they are now, there would be no repercussions for being a criminal character. It’s the choice you made when you started roleplaying that character. The penal code is public information, you should know the consequences of your actions.
  14. The prison system and the fines that come with it are there for a reason. If you don’t want to be punished and have to pay money/do time, either become a law abiding citizen or stop getting caught. Especially as a new player, you should be spending your time building connections and networking. The automatic ticketing systems are mostly setup at NCZs, which represent heavily guarded areas. Realistically, you wouldn’t be able to go insane speeds through a these areas. Set your cruise control and don’t go over the limit.
  15. There should be more script support for things to do while you’re alone, or want to be alone. The last three days I spent in prison consisted of people death matching, bug abusing, and not knowing how to RP in general. I usually help these types of players out so long as they’re willing to learn. Current prison RP requires creativity to some degree. For example, playing HORSE in the yard and using /dice to see if you make/miss shots. Torturing other inmates is also fun so long as they consent to it OOCly. I would also like to see the guards interact with inmates more. It’s pretty good as is but most guards stand 10-8 at intake until there’s enough guards to go into the cell block/patrol in numbers. Means for less personal interactions. In conclusion, +1 for more scripted tasks, be creative in prison, more guard interaction with inmates.
  16. Ok, that makes more sense. Thank you for clarifying.
  17. So what happens when all the properties and vehicles are deleted out of existence? Do we just shut the server down at that point? Do we put up all the assets for sale based off their scripted value? Deleting their assets out of existence wouldn’t be beneficial to the server.
  18. +1, but it would need some sort of admin/staff assistance, only adding more to their plate. Here’s a solution I propose: Character deletions should require staff approval similar to Transfer Requests. There should be a valid, IC or OOC, reason for deletion of the character. The character should have 0 assets, as to prevent properties or vehicles from being lost and unusable. There’s probably a reason that it’s not implemented, but a good suggestion nonetheless.
  19. Hopefully this will bring a much needed change that has been discussed with LSPD, more specifically Alex Donnelly, to better their relationship with the community.
  20. /splitground Also, it may be more feasible if you ask in the “I have a question” channel in discord. It’s easier than making a forum post and people are always around to help

    AudioBug

I’ve also had the same issue since around the Casino DLC update. I made a bug report myself, but I thought it was only client-side; thus I deleted it. After talking with someone in the discord last night who also had the same issue, I now know it’s widespread and not a specific issue to me.
  22. You guys are doing god’s work. Glad I could help the cause.
  23. -1 Although I wasn't on the server during the time of super cars, here's my take on this. In real life, there are certain cars and bikes that can easily outrun cop cruisers and even cop helicopters. This is something that police departments have to plan for, and setup tactics in case it ever happens. It's not realistic to limit the speed on super cars, how it is now, or even limit the speed on a motorcycle, just because a normal police cruiser can't keep up. There should be at least some chance for the person to escape if they're on a bike or in a car that's meant to go fast. There's a reason PD has high speed units; although unrealistic, it helps close the gap between fast cars and PD cruisers. Let's take the Turismo-R for example (a super car). In real life, the Turismo-R is a McLaren P1 GTR which has a top speed of almost 350 km/h. The average police cruiser hits about 250 km/h top speed. On the server, the Turismo-R is capped at 202 km/h while the top speed of a normal police crown vic is near 220 km/h. In what world does it make sense for a police cruiser to go faster than a multi-million dollar super car? In conclusion, some bikes and cars are meant to give people a chance to escape from the cops. Just because PD can't keep up with Drags doesn't mean they should be removed from the market. Perhaps the root of the problem, the insane amount of money in the economy, should be looked at instead.
  24. 100% on board with this. You becoming owner would be accepted by pretty much everyone within Bayview, no questions asked. Best of luck!
  25. edit: seems to be a client-side issue. can be closed.
