I have definitely advocated for the revision of the application process. It's not working. Anyone who puts 'xD' ICly is either A.) completely clueless of what roleplay is and in that case has googled the roleplay quiz answers or B.) genuinely a shitty player and either case proves the point mentioned.

Speed cameras always sound like a great idea, but they never are. When they implemented them on NG-G everybody was for it but quickly realized why they didn't want them. If someone steals your car and racks up the tickets, then it's the owner's responsibility to pay them no matter what. This is not how it is in real life. If someone is in a roleplay situation where they're getting chased, and they're driving through the city (which happens A LOT on here), then they're going to get tickets. And without playing with a controller, and without using cruise control, it's almost impossible to control your speed using a keyboard. Sure they sound like a great idea in theory, but people will quickly realize that they do not want them. This map is HUGE and there aren't enough people driving around to warrant it in my opinion. Maybe I would be OK with it if they were implemented in select, few locations like the road to the prison, PD, MD, etc, or just NCZ in general. That would 'maybe' stop people from speeding in NCZs and that would be OK with me. There are also several places in real life that prove speed cameras always look good on paper, but not in practice. In my home state of Ohio, many counties have outlawed the use of speed cameras simply because the automated issuing of tickets is not a good idea and should be done by a person. I've been pulled over IRL for 4 times speeding, and always let go and never given a ticket. If I let someone else drive my car, that means I could get a ticket in the mail within a few weeks. They just suck everywhere tbh. -1 from me.

day 1 - i got tased through a windshield by pd. - I'll just let that speak for itself. As for the rest, the administration on this server is not the best. It takes me hours to get a report accepted for something as simple as TP after falling through the world. And /amembers shows a few administrators online and on duty, and I feel like reports are heavily neglected. It makes me wonder what would happen should I be getting DM'd and I reported. It probably wouldn't be accepted on time for anyone to do anything about it. Also, there's a few other issues I won't mention here but I feel like the administration isn't as active as it should be. That's just my opinion however. I see at least one adminsitrator say over OOC 'If you no longer require assistance, /cancelreport'. What they don't understand is that we've been waiting for hours for someone to accept that report and subsequently forgot that it was still pending. I've had reports accepted that I completely forgot what they were about. Also, I ran into an ammunition yesterday. Bought a gun, and immediately got told to put my hands up and robbed. The RP sense in the "robbery community" is absolutely fucking trash and anyone who does this kind of "roleplay" should be ashamed. It's not necessarily against the rules but it's just a terrible roleplay experience. New-ish players often face challenges like this. Not just on this server. However there is an application process for a reason, and if we're accepting people that RP like this then we need to overhaul that system. Also, there is a lack of guides for such a confusing script. I'm sometimes baffled by how things work and there's little documentation on the forums about it. I get that most of the guides are player-based but there is no documentation for certain development aspects and I get that there can't be a thread for everything but at the same time it's lacking for big features as well. Sure you can do /helpme in game or /report, but these also take a bit of time to get accepted. In conclusion, better RP standards and better administration assistance will always lead to a healthier community. As for the topic at hand, which I have much less to say about, I wouldn't be completely against a milestone system. MT-G on SA:MP had a 'player ranking' system that bumped you ranks based on hours played. NGG obviously had the godfather's leveling system where you had to buy your levels (which is aids and I wouldn't want) but something similar like that I would be down for.

I would be inclined to use something like this. Surely there is the fear of metagamers and rulebreakers, however I have to agree with Fluc in the sense that the staff should be able to monitor the messages. They can monitor everything else on the server so it wouldn't really be an issue. If a web version was done, it would have to be the same sort of thing. Staff should be able to have OOC access to the messages.

After christmas is fine. It doesn't really snow in LA and the game looks super bland when its in, probs why rockstar didnt make it snow in online this year. It's cool, sure, but gets old fast. I would only want it for maybe a couple days next year. Weeks is too much imo.

I specifically remember this gang and I was around when you guys were at the peak of the gang scene. Definitely the superior 'roleplay-ist'. Not to derail the thread and all, but just wanted to point that out. Absolutely a tragedy to see the community ruin the RP integrity of that gang forsure.

Honestly this is about the only thing in your post I disagree with you on. This allows for a cleaner, more story-like experience. After all, roleplay threads are for mainly entertainment and to show off the faction's roleplay. Captions are janky, I will agree, but edited on RP lines are the best way to do it IMO. Taking screenshots of real 'live' roleplay is very 'ugly' (for lack of a better term) and uninteresting. When I was in gangs on SA:MP servers I always used edited roleplay in the screenshots. This actually took hours to make, as there were usually quite a lot, and in my opinion definitely isn't 'lazy'. However, I made sure that the roleplay made sense. As for your comment asking "How do we know you didn't just snap a couple pics and then leave?" well... the simple answer is we don't. But we don't know they didn't have that roleplay either. Sure some words and sentences are probably changed, for the better I might add, but as long as nothing major was tweaked I don't see a problem with it. If your criticism is they should post more interaction with the outside (where they would have to have interaction with people who aren't in their gang) I may have to agree, but they will continue to hide behind the "secrecy" of their faction even though the whole point of a roleplay thread is to show it... lmao. Anyway, other than that great post it actually made a lot of sense. +1 Sorry that this quote is out of nowhere, I just thought this was the well most constructed reply on the entire thread lmao... just wanted to put my opinion out there.

Make sure RageMP is closed when you're doing it. Download the files from the post and copy them over and replace. If that still doesn't work, try verifying integrity and trying again. Let me know.
