  1. I agree that the pay should be relative to the goods being transported. However you can also control this yourself, if the business owner lists a large order for just $2000, if no one fills it, he will run out of gas and have to pay more.
  2. The LSPD has officers that patrol under a traffic officer callsign and focus on enforcing traffic laws, however due to the high volume of violent calls, I do not believe it would be practical to restrict them from answer non-traffic related calls.
  3. I do think its a bit silly how a good amount of people have an AK in their pocket at the bank. +1
  4. There is no item storage we can use to keep your stuff, nor is there any system which can assign items to people, even if we had usable storage. This kind of suggestion would require script support.
  5. No, no. I would like to see for example cop baiting rule removed, but if someone reports, a moderator will still act on it as bad RP. But it will be up to him to decide at which point it becomes cop baiting. I'd like to see similar changes with KOS, Fear RP, etc. But we're getting out of the scope of the thread. I said -1 because I don't like strict, unmalleable rules, not because this one itself is bad, I think it should be enforced that way, but not based on a rule.
  6. You don't get it, ideally, I'd be against cop baiting being specified too. And a lot of other rules. I feel that a lot more discretion should be practiced rather than having strict rules.
  7. Sure. Minimum to maximum works, as long as it's reasonable. Like I said murder should never be 10 minutes, regardless of cooperation.
  8. I would like to see a static command that reduces their time by 10 to 25 percent. I do not believe that the officer should set the time, as it doesn't make sense that you'd get 10 minutes for murder, no matter how much you cooperated. -1
  9. In role-play, your IC actions have IC consequences. You can call anything you don't like an "ooc punishment" but it doesn't invalidate the fact that is is completely in-character. No one should have to get attacked every 15 minutes by the same prisoner because you want your action in an RP server. GTA Online allows you to experience as much action as you want without consequences, but this isn't the place for that.
  10. Yes. I do agree that not allowing criminal alts but allowing PD alts would be unfair.
  11. Because there are times in which people behave in unrealistic ways, and try their best to get shot at by as many cops as possible, in the hope of getting killed script-wise. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't, and the first reaction is /b deathRP. It promotes bad roleplay. If the person is so clearly dead because of their actions, why does no one ever request permission to CK? Because it's not about good roleplay, it's another way to avoid repercussions for your actions.
  12. You said you got pulled over for speeding and got 200k. I'm telling you that you had to speed over 60 times to get that amount, at least. Why not just say, "hey I sped all day every day cause I thought there was no repercussions, and now that there are, I wish to have them voided." That would be much less misleading.
  13. A 15 minute cap? So every 20 minutes there's a riot? Actions have consequences. If you don't want solitary don't misbehave.
  14. Speeding is a ~$3000 fine. Did you speed over 60 times?
  15. DeathRP is alternative RP that must be approved by everyone involved. As such can not be transferred to EMTs because cops will be present, and all parties must consent to alternative RP. DeathRP is not a right, and a cop saying no doesn't mean he has a person vendetta, attitudes like those are toxic.
  16. We do not need any more strict rules to limit roleplay. If you feel a situation is unrealistic, report it and a moderator+ can always make a judgement call.
  17. This is a great idea, I'm surprised it isn't a thing already. Big +1
  18. That'd make a lot of sense. Good idea.
  19. It's a thing on some cars, but it does mean that both cars are unavailable for three hours. The point was that if you increase chop money too much, it might make a lot of sense for a lot more people to start doing this. So you would have to increase insurance costs too.
  20. You can't increase the price too much without increasing Mors Insurance fee, otherwise friends could chop each-others cars to generate free money.
  21. I think there is a timer due to wide-spread abuse of locking/unlocking stuff. I've seen people double tap K to bug abuse people out of cars, on the daily. This is no longer easily possible.
  22. If IRL every other traffic stop turned into a pursuit or shootout, there would be. Los Santos is not a typical town. We do in hours what Los Angles does in a year, murder wise.
  23. There is a very big difference in your example. The cop arresting you is doing his job, he doesn't have any choice about it. He sees you being wanted/doing something, he has to arrest you. You are making the choice of robbing someone / speeding or kidnapping a cop. Basically you want to force the cop to be kidnapped because of his job. I'd say if the cop was being corrupt, you should be able to do it. But not just for doing his/her job.
  24. It's almost as if you were wanted in connection with the murder of an officer.
  25. What about the people that come to play civilian and are left ziptied, without a phone battery and on their knees in Paleto? A few minutes later connection to your alarm system has been lost. Their time doesn't matter? Forcing them into a gang is alright? That's a cops and robbers server.
