The Wanted bank-encamped propaganda machine is in full force with their baseless conjuncture that does not and can not be backed up. The fault for the Wanted v. WCA conflict rests entirely at Jamaar's feet. Prior to the last amicable meeting between us, a Wanted "pre-prospect" was robbed by a bunch of WCA while his friend, a Wanted prospect named Helsinki watched it happen. A day prior to that, members of the Wanted showed up to a shootout, and without firing a single bullet, started looting bodies. Dre was contacted and he identified about four people based on their vehicles. The night of the meeting, Andre made his grievances regarding the jackal-like looting from his members known, and told Jamaar to contact Dre about the names. We showed up at the meeting, and Jamaar stated that the looting shouldn't of happened, and asked who was involved; He was told that he was already informed that Dre has the names, and then he rebutted, "Oh, let's talk about this pre-prospect thing". Talks started, and then he invited the Prospect witness, Helsinki to join the conversation, who ended up making not one, but five tacit threats towards WCA, while Jamaar was standing there impotently. People from downstairs were able to overhear the conversation and were getting unruly. Fortunately for Wanted, a cop pulled into the Re-up and everyone dispersed. WCA made their grievances known to the council, and a day after, the council decided that they wanted to go to war with Wanted. All the way from the meeting, to this point, Jamaar made no attempt to contact WCA and inform them that the jackals were dealt with, nor offer any apologies about Helsinki's loud mouth. It was then decided that we would join the war. Jamaar's leadership is an impotent concoction of promises and very little action to back those promises up. He allowed a prospect to speak for his entire gang, and now it was time to see if they could back it up, on the street. A wanted member apparently decided to hang up his orange outfit and do some moonlighting as a taxi driver. One of our members got into his taxi, and asked for a ride to a secluded place, where he was relieved of the contents of his pockets, phone, and even of his taxi. Pulling up on Catfish Road, one of us informed the rest that apparently there's a new organization in town, and we made first contact with them. They call themselves the Vory. Keeping the streak of meeting organizations live, we met with Ezekiel, who is the leader of the new organization known as Latin Kings. It was then time for the weekly meeting with the council, and Zetas were the first stop. War considerations were discussed, and we parted ways with a renewed promise of mutual assistance. Bruce and the rest of the Triads were met outside of Los Santos, and similar war talks were had, before departing on a good note. A less than inspired member of the Wanted decided that it was a good idea to try to rob one of us at the hood. All he managed to do was ruin Trey's paintjob, with his blood. The Los Santos Police Department stuck their nose into a chase and started using their megaphones to promise protection to Wanted. But, they can not be everywhere, all the time. Back at the motel, relaxing, we were joined by two randoms, and we were unwinding from the busy day with them. At that point, two Wanted drove by, and crashed their bike into a pole. One of them got back on and drove away, the other one was caught. From the street it looks like some parked vehicles, but once you drive into the motel.. The unfortunate Wanted that was left behind was beat up especially hard for ruining our time, and encroaching on our territory. We then resolved that no further relaxing will be had today, and loaded up to hunt. It wasn't long before we had Oksana and Vahan on their knees. Oksana was especially loud-mouthed. Andre decided to teach her a lesson. Face smeared with snow and blonde hair, the woman was still belligerent, therefore, Andre decided to put her out of her misery. The group then stumbled upon another unfortunate victim, and she was quickly placed at gunpoint. She found herself on her knees, in the cold snow, just as the stolen Wanted vehicles were driving by, to get chopped by WCA. We can only imagine her initial feeling of relief as she thought backup was coming, only to see it's just more doom. She lost her weapons, car, hair, hope, and dignity. All in one interaction.

I do not personally have an issue with IA reports taking time to process. I think it's very good that they are being thoroughly reviewed. My issue is with the punishments, that in my opinion are too lenient for the crimes commited. I did not use quotation marks because some of the actions that cops do are actual crimes. The issue is that after that long process, after writing it up, after sitting in prison, the officer gets a written warning. It is not proportional to the damage inflicted. It's nice that SD IA cases get solved quick, but if it's a slap on the wrist for false imprisonment, it doesn't really do much that it gets solved quick.

The Internal Affairs system is way too lenient on officers found to be in gross abuse of their power. The reasonable punishment for officers adding false charges, committing false imprisonment and so on would be immediate termination. Instead they are given slaps on the wrist.

Everyone that CKed the old way got their charges back from their "previous" character. There is currently no way to get them removed as LSPD can only remove active charges.

Official factions can in fact import just ammo. It's just the legal stores that lack that functionality.

We encourage all our members to contribute whenever they can. More points of a view of a situation, especially with accompanying stories from a different point of view is not a bad thing, in my opinion.

We met with the other half of the council for the weekly payment, and we received news of the upcoming conflict with the racing crew known as Wanted. Having been threatened by a buster in front of Jamaar yesterday, and with his utter and complete failure to act upon that, we decided to join into the war, against the racing crew. Tradition in Los Santos says that gangs at war wear a uniform, we never put on one until now because the wack-a-mole conflict with Russians couldn't really be considered a war. Speaking of Russian wack-a-mole, the racing crew quickly found Russian tactics to be adequate for them, and started employing them. Ariana and Thadeus were spotted at Parking Lot, and promptly placed on their knees, at which point Andre noticed Ariana's bright pink hair, just perfect for cutting. A cruiser drives past, and Ariana exclaims: "Look's like I get to keep my hair." She didn't keep it for long. WCA always makes good on their promises.

I'm curious why you didn't address the other argument? I said that cops that are found guilty of breaches of protocol are not punished harshly enough and that they do not get dealt with fast enough. Hiring more IA officers would be a nice start, yes, but do you agree that officers kidnapping someone (detaining them without legal authority) should face termination and/or prison? Or is the current written warning/slap on the wrist system to your satisfaction?

My view on law enforcement in the server is that it's been okay but it's rapidly degrading. I used to be a criminal main over a year ago, and most of my interactions with police officers were within the boundaries of what I'd consider realistic, and for a couple of months, I was a supervisor in the LSPD, however, since returning to criminal, two months ago, I've been noticing more and more gross abuses of power. I'm not sure if this is because I now know (OOCly) a lot more about police regulation, and when they are pushing it, or if there truly are more abusive cops, but there are quite a number of officers that have absolutely no regard for law and what is acceptable. To give you an example, two days ago I went to the police department to inquire about a revoked gun permit. The officer that I was questioning asked for my identification, which I found reasonable. There were several other officers in the room. Another officer says, "I want to see your licenses too!", and a Detective identifies me verbally, by my full name. Then another cop says, "You have to show it or its failure to identify". I show the officer my identification, even though another law enforcement officer identified me, and she had no WORK RELATED reason to know my name. Then the officer that initially threatened me with a charge, asked to see it as well. This is the kind of gross abuse of power, that I feel is borderline NonRP. There was absolutely no work related reason for the 5th officer in the room to know the same name that 4 other cops knew, and verified that I was not wanted. It was quite simply a power play. The usual response to this is file an IA report. The issue with that is that officers are not punished harshly enough, nor are the reports dealt with in a timely manner. I will provide you with a second anecdote. Last month I was involved in an armed robbery with two other people, and one of the victims named me as a perpretator later on. She was a female character. A cop, with no evidence what-so-ever, based on her word of mouth, searched me and my vehicle. I did not have anything illegal in my possession. Furthermore, after he established that I did not have any illegal items, and I was not wanted, he placed me in cuffs, and inside his cruiser, and quite literally kidnapped me to face my accuser, that was in a different area. My car was left unlocked on the side of the road. I protested it, and the officer said that "I'm being detained for an Investigation". I filed an IA report, on the 10th of September. I just received an answer on 14th of November, saying that, of course, the officer broke policy, and that he was "disciplined". Now I ask you, what do you think was the discipline? My guess is a written warning. What would the discipline be for me, or any other person if we kidnapped someone under no legal bases and kept them there? Prison. The fact that the cop was not at the very least fired is exactly why people feel the way they feel about law enforcement. There is very little recourse for most abuses of power, and even when they get confirmed, it's a slap on the wrist for the cop. This was a long rant, so I will present you with some solutions to end it: If an officer is found to be in breach of a serious protocol, think force matrix, false detainment, etc, he should be fired. No written warnings, no suspensions. If an officer is found to have falsely arrested someone, they should be fired. No written warnings, no suspensions. If an officer is found to be issuing orders that are not lawful, he should be suspended. The current punishment system is not proportional to what abusive law enforcement officers can inflict upon their victims.

We engaged in a 10 minute chase with a duo on a bike that continued to do laps around the Sandy airfield while calling police. One of them was shot off the bike, and the other one crashed his bike and was caught. We all gathered at the motel to welcome a new addition to the gang, and as everyone was exchanging numbers and names, we started to prepare for the meetings that were to follow. First, as always, we met with Zetas to deposit our weekly payment and catch up on the state of affairs in the past week. It was then time to meet a group that we were officially at war with, to discuss their desire for peace. Not knowing what to expect, we came in force. The NLA showing was puny and submissive. Salvadore made a big deal out of not giving out his name, and yet one of our goons knew it by heart. We laid out our terms for peace, specifically the instant and permanent disappearance of a man that loves his chino very much: Chico. Departing the NLA meet, we made our way up the highway, towards Wanted Gas. We made our grievances known to Jamaar, who promised to look into them, and then departed with great haste when a cop pulled into the gas station.

I agree with most of the ideas apart from the house robbery. There really aren't a lot of storage areas in the game right now, and allowing people to break into houses with crowbars would be too easy, unless the crowbars were like 100k each, and it had 95% chance to break, but even then it would feel gimmicky to lose all your stuff to something that happened when you were offline with no chance to counter it.

This is one of the better ideas I have heard to stop the No Crime Zone abuses. Definitively in favor of this.

CKs are no longer allowed on the server. If you want to CK, you need to buy a new character slot and create an actual new character.

Snow fell on the streets of Los Santos and a good number of WCA and Triads randomly met at the mask shop. We got engaged in a chase and bait with a Russian squad that we refused to give fight to until we had equal numbers, and then they refused to give us fight. They finally decided upon a motel ambush, in which Andre was injured, but saved by EMTs. There was no first-aid for the Russian's injuries though. Driving by Chumash we came by a BF400 all white that refused to stop previously and chased him all the way to High-end, where he was finally placed at gunpoint and relieved of his personal effects. Towards the end of the day, the crew decided on some opportunistic chopping of random abandoned vehicles. We ended the day with a group meeting behind closed doors at the club, in which we reviewed this day's events and how we can do better next time.

Bump. With the new UI for donator stuff, hopefully we can look at a reworked modmenu UI.

These kind of OOC hand-holding is what resulted in the current NCZ abuse. If Triads and/or Zetas have the IC power to take over all the turf by themselves, that is their prerogative. Placing OOC limits on an IC concern does not create RP but kills it instead.

Another week had went by, and as such, the regular payment to Zetas had to be delivered, in person. Andre took the opportunity to discuss the current state of affairs in the city, and plans for the future. The group then stumbled upon a semi-large Triads gathering in their hood, and decided to join in their silent protest. LSPD made several attempts to dislodge and intimidate the group, but they were all fruitless. It was time to check in on the labs, and make sure that no Russians were making any money in the city. All they found was some random farmers that were inspected and then let go. As rain fell harshly, they grouped up at the motel, and loaded up to meet the other half of the council for their payment. Just like with their counterpart, the meeting proved to be a great time to catch up on recent events, and discuss actions to be taken in the future. Shortly after the meeting, a group of suspected Russians were spotted in a convoy up north, and when they tried to execute an ambush at the airfield chop, they were mowed down. Following the violent exchange, it was time for a meeting to discuss the previous events, and plans for the future as a group. It was while discussions were ongoing that a person driving by was identified as being a Russian, and stopped with great amounts of violence. To put an end to the fruitful day, the organization met with part of the Wanted that were chilling at the Refresh and exchanged names.

As we were perusing the selection of vehicles at high-end we spot a couple of our friends from across the Black Sea and promptly relieved them of their belongings. We then went up north and sat on the chopshop for a couple of hours, awaiting any Russians looking to make a quick buck. Having moved to LSD to actually produce some narcotics, we heard something downstairs and found a man inside at the bottom floor. Grouped up at the motel and went up north once more, trying our best to not allow the eastern alliance any breathing room. Pulled into Sealab and found a guy with green hair and a very big mouth. I took my knife out and worked towards my apprentice barber certification. We received word of a Vallor attack at North Lab, but by the time we pulled up, he was already dead, and his accomplice fled upon seeing our numbers. We did manage to find one of them when the chopshop moved. Alone and armed with only a pistol, he wasn't a match for us. As night was drawing near, we had a quick exchange of information with the Rooks, and departed up north once more. Pulling into Braddock's, we found what looked to be retired members of the neighborhood watch.

If you didn't drop your uniform this wouldn't be an issue.
