  1. It's not because they don't know how to play, it's because proper technical poker is very slow and boring. If you watch pro games you will see the percentage of hands a player will actually play is very low. That's not attractive for people either looking to have fun or make quick money.
  2. VIP already affects income as it even allows 0% tax to be bought. Not to mention the casual money spent on food/water/gasoline being reduced with VIP.
  3. Instead of going in such a drastic direction, perhaps a more constructive approach is to contact the leader of JB with your suggestions/concerns and see if they have anything in the works to satisfy you. Alternatively, you can also reach out to legal faction management with your concerns. Things do happen behind the scenes and I don't think anyone is happy with the current speed of JB, but, it is rather in-depth roleplay and not everyone wishes to partake in it, therefore, there are member shortages.
  4. The main thing pushing me away from water stuff is not the lack of content but the major sync issues. People come out of water T-posing or invisible, your boat drifts away etc.
  5. I do think that the punishment rule was needed because we do have some people that tend to be the same group of people overlooking each others mistakes and/or bad behavior for years now. On one hand you want to stay close to your friends, but you also want an exceptional faction tier; perhaps a choice is expected. Rulebreakers should be something that all official factions look to reform, instead of tolerate.
  6. Allow store owners to change the order of the items being sold. This would allow them to place commonly sold items at the top, or if they prefer, less sold items at the top to encourage sales.
  7. Large alliances also destroyed people's ability to play the game.
  8. -1 Going back to 100v100 fights in which the entire server is paralyzed (as PD/MD will inevitably be involved) is the opposite direction in which we should want to go.
  9. A VIP Is a person that donated to help keep the server running, any removal in perks needs to be motivated well. If this a concern of balance, I could easily argue that removing VIP from Motorcycle fuel consumption is more impactful; try BF400 with and without VIP, it's a different bike.
  10. The issue is budget criminals making it their goal to disrupt them on purpose with law enforcement. No amount of locations can solve that. We need a script prevention to having too many labs destroyed at once. Imagine if a single player could remove all choppable vehicles from the map, or a single player could turn off all banks in the server. That is exactly what is happening with drug labs. It's not alright. My proposed solution would be to have the script check, and if 2 or more labs were destroyed, they should respawn instantly at a new location.
  11. There's been an uptick in players whom spend the vast majority of their play time going from lab to lab and calling 911 whenever they see anyone else there, resulting in the lab being destroyed by law enforcement. I believe in the past, unless the lab was directly involved in the crime, law enforcement would not destroy it. It's not great for realism, but it's needed for gameplay reasons. The new system currently sees three active drug labs, and most of the time one is destroyed by law enforcement. My proposal is simple: law enforcement should avoid destroying drug labs unless they were clearly involved in the situation (i.e. raiding a gang cooking at a lab). One malicious actor with a phone should not be able to remove a large percentage of scripted labs by themselves, nor should they be aided by law enforcement in doing so.
  12. I think that part of the issue is that in the context of the game, there aren't a lot of tools available for detectives to actively pursue things. Tracing is easily countered and there are no alternative means of surveillance. No real cameras, no trackers, no phone recordings.
  13. CCTV camera footage is in-character, if you get told no by law enforcement, that is something that can be addressed in-character between faction leaderships.
  14. A sure fire way to replicate a similar bug is to die while holding a firearm, it will stay on your back at MD even though you lost it during respawn.
  15. -1 Every report is handled differently, based on its specific circumstances -- no two situations are exactly the same. If people base what is allowed on what happened in x report or y report it creates a very rule-play-y atmosphere. People should instead ty to immerse themselves into their characters and their surroundings, and do what they feel is realistic at any given point. If it ends up that it was a mistake, then, they know to avoid it in the future. I think with a lot of punishments being relatively relaxed, no one should feel in fear of being removed for one or two mistakes. Just act in good faith, do stuff that makes sense, and you don't need to analyze stuff.
  16. This would only be feasible if text chat was removed, and a microphone became required like on other RP servers. It is basically impossible to tell apart characters when multiple are using text.
  17. +1 server sided mods ensure fairness
  18. The only way I'd support gunshot mods is if they were enabled by the server, for everyone, the exact same sound. Anything else will result in advantages/disadvantages. Just like colorful blood effects. -1
