Let's not waste time with this. When you die in-game you do not care really, you lose your map and radio and thats it. What would make people consider every risky action they take a second time? Now, close your eyes (after reading this) and imagine how many things would change if dying would have true consequence, such as: Every time you die, you would be deducted -$10,000 for medical bills.
