  1. I'm experiencing the same issue, I'm sure its a rage MP bug.
  2. Yeah it's pretty dumb to have been shot 15 times and go to jail but it has to be this way because I'd say over 80% of police arrests lead into a shootout, and the only way criminals would ever go to jail is if the PD doesn't allow them to RP death. I mean think about it, when was the last time you saw someone being arrested without guns being drawn and people being downed? As far as the 350 deaths a year goes, I believe that stat actually goes against what you're trying to say. 350 deaths a year for over 325 million people in the US is a REALLY low % of people dying at the hands of police. Totally agree, except if everyone was allowed to RP death then there would be no repercussions to RPing the most heinous violent criminal in the world, who kills and robs indiscriminately. Which is a bad thing. It's super shitty to go to jail and literally waste 2 hours of oyur time doing nothing, and I believe there are some good solutions to it but there has to be some sort of heavy repercussion to being a violent criminal otherwise people would be non stop killing (even more then now). Totally 100% agree, there should be more options to maybe get out of prison sooner at the expense of not being afk, and definitely being able to serve your prison time while offline (maybe at 1/2 the speed.) I'd like to see maybe some jobs you can do in order to earn "good behavior" and get out early. Stuff like sweeping X amount of items, or cleaning up litter inside the interior of the prison that reduces your prison time based on how much of the task you do. Prison used to be 1 hour, but that felt too short for the cops. Then they increased it to 8 hours, then reduced it to 4 hours, and now its been settled to 2 hours for quite a while now. It does feel like an ooc player punishment, but again there has to be some sort of harsh punishment otherwise players would go nuts just killing because the only repercussion is finding a new pistol. So in conclusion, I totally agree there are a lot of issues with PD and the prison system and the way we RP death. I do feel like cops sometimes do some light to medium metagaming (talking over teamspeak about IC things, disliking your character on an alt so they try to arrest you on there criminal character, etc.). But the solution isn't to let people RP death everytime they get into a police shootout because it happens nearly every time the police try to make an arrest. There would be no criminals in the prisons, and there would be no repercussions to being a violent criminal (and there needs to be!). This is coming from a player with over 60 imprisonments on his main character and most of those are 4 hours.
  3. yeah word i got the same issue. very annoying

oh wow +1 @Phil McGee check out this faction
  5. do you mean like the bottom of your screen is cut off so you can't see the messages at the bottom? or you can't see any messages
  6. yeah thats a fact well it was a bug that was already fixed 4 months ago, it just came back in the newest patch so I figured its a bug to be reported.
  7. I'm not saying cars and motorcycles, I'm saying BMX bikes. Which anyone can control in the air in real life.
  8. Date and time (provide timezone): 8/9/18 Character name: Leron Davis Issue/bug you are reporting: All bikes are unable to be controlled while in the air. This bug was fixed several months ago, see here "https://gyazo.com/2d4779f1531081241636e74f49375fc2" it kinda sucks to use bmx bikes now because you can't do any spins or tricks. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: get on a BMX, and when you jump you will not be able to twist
  9. Would be very cool to implement something like a hit register like you're saying, but as it is now every criminal would RP death because nobody wants to spend 2 hours in jail. If you get downed from a shotgun from close range, or a sniper, or swat team unloading on you, sometimes the cops will allow you to rp death because its more realistic... However, most of the time you won't be able to rp death otherwise people will always choose that option rather than going to jail for 2 hours. +1 your idea to implementing a hit register type thing

    be safe brotha
  11. Yeah this would be sick in an ideal world if everybody rp'd it, but if you play on your criminal at all and down 100 people i bet you 80 of them don't reply to the frisk, and there is hardly a big enough admin presence like @SteScotland said. -1 for now.
  12. The intention of the jobs isn't to push people away from RP scenarios. Things like courier and bus are good for RP, but players don't walk down the road to wait at the bus stop, and players are hardly at their houses to ever interact with the mailmen which is why it seems like it's pushing people away from RPing. That's just the way it is, you aren't forced to do those jobs and are encouraged to apply for the jobs on the forums like MD, PD, etc. where more human interaction occurs. A city full of AK's would be fucking horrible even with the best RP, and you should be fearful of losing your pistol, why wouldn't you be?
  13. Okay, so would you rather that everything be free on the server if working for your things is bad for rp? by the way, the original post is a +1 for me
  14. that's just one of the ways to get an AK, the problem is, if it's easy to get an AK then the whole city runs around with AK's... how about create your own criminal empire, and get your ak's for free by profiting off of ones that you sell? how about you join a criminal faction that sells their ak's at a cheaper price than import to higher ranking members? how about instead of using AK's, you use a pistol if you can't afford an AK? "grinding" aka working for your things isn't even a bad thing and is how real life functions (RP is about realism right?).
  15. yo this is just a downright fib. if you want legit good rp scenarios you create them. you don't need a mod menu, or a different server, you need a little bit of creativity and common sense. if you're playing this server to grind money to buy items that can be lost in an instant, then you're playing it wrong. instead of grinding 2 hours of courier job for an AK, how about you make a plan to steal one from someone you know might have one. if you're mad about getting caught by the police, then maybe be a smarter criminal. turn your phone off, don't be obvious about your crimes, and map out escape routes. @Phil McGee went like 2 months without being caught with a whole page of charges, with an ak on him the whole time. police RP can be unrealistic if you play it like a lot of the cops do, but if you look at an actual RP stream like @Cooksley's you can see him doing legit rp and making it fun. you just lack the creativity and patience to find/create good rp scenarios.
  16. This is how it was back a few months ago before the rage client, but it was pretty shitty because salty downed players wouldn't comply/would stall /me's and /do's until their backup arrived. In a perfect world, your example should be how it goes, but especially right now (with all the new players, who barely know what /me's, and /do's are) I don't think this is our best option. I'll +1 the ninja looting being added to the rules... If people are being punished for something, it should be explicitly stated what they're being punished for so they can do better in the future.

    Infinite run

i have never lost health from sprinting, i think that you're referring to a bug that occurred for some people who didn't play their story mode game.

good video +1 please watch this if your new
  19. the big influx is good for the server imo, as soon as more staff/more reports go through, the bad apples will get weeded out.

    PD Cars

+1 all cops should drive in smart cars not only for environmental health, but to save on tax dollars
  21. just a glitch with the health bars, if you're out of rendering distance of a player the next time you come into contact with them it will appear as though they have full HP. You can see he gets out of the car limping, he was already at low health.
