Mahanawe Posted February 9, 2020 Report Posted February 9, 2020 I would like to set up a coroner company. possibly a faction so I can hire a maximum of 10 employees. if someone is shot, or the ambulance does not arrive on time at the call. That I as a coroner then come to the spot to clean up the bodies. And turn it into ashes in my company or take it to the cemetery. I think the roleplay is even better than just throwing the corpses into the bushes or the trunk.

Even better when you dont know theres a body in your trunk and you /delcruiser +1 on having someone dedicated for that, maybe just give MD a vehicle that could store multiple bodies. You could also try to set the business up yourself through IC means first, maybe get in contact with the gov/lspd/md.

I think this would be a great new public job, not a government job, so like the bus driver, courier jobs, where players can roll up and go on duty. A coroner van spawns for them and the MD and PD have an option to call for a coroner (/coroner) or maybe something similar to dialing a taxi so the jobs are listed with ID numbers. Upon the successful drop off of a corpse in a designated zone, such as dropping off human meat, payment is received. Also, for those who don't know the Coroner building is right across the road from the Central MD, which is the perfect location for RP opportunities with the MD. 1

From my initial read through it seems more of a suggested faction which has it's separate place (see point 2). 2. Should my assumption from point 1 be correct, this would be something to go about ICly with government communication and business registration. For the faction aspect of it, you can begin a thread in the appropriate section of the forums. 1
Xoza Posted February 14, 2020 Report Posted February 14, 2020 Here are some thoughts and options. Freelance job where players can be coroners. You pick up bodies from calls and random markers with a hearse. Add 'coroner' to 911 calls. This would ping a *both* emergency services call with "BODY: caller message" in case emergency services wanted to investigate. But it also places a marker for the coroner driver. Non-Spawned bodies, pay more than spawned. Each driver will always have a single body they can pick up at all times. When they arrive to the area they can hit "Y" or /search to spawn a random body in the area. (this way there aren't random bodies laying around all the time, operates like the truck trailer when you are close to pick it up.) The coroner's vehicle acts like it's own '/dropbody' but can be filled to 10 then you need to drop off. You can empty your hearse at a graveyard, hospital or coroners office. (preferable at least 2 areas to cover the entire map.) EMS/LEO Grainger Should be able to either carry 4 bodies or act like it's own /dropbody. Ability to turn bodies into Inventory * (Less payout, maybe less work? but I think probably one of the better ideas.). Once you bag a body, /bagbody you should be able to carry it like a bag. 'P' to pickup, 'O' to inventory. 30? vol, so you can only carry one at a time, but vehicles that can carry large amounts would be able to carry many bodies. If you have a body in your inventory, it will show, just like guns and bags, when you have them. Body bags can be dropped off at coroners or dropped from inventory at /dropbody spots for a bit of cash. 2
