  1. I didn't take anyone's side. I just stated that no rules were broken at that specific scenario and IC procedure was followed. I saw your POV and it seemed all fine to me. The procedure itself is flawed. As you can also see as I previously posted, I was against the deputy in OP's video in rushing in the store like Rambo.
  2. I did and it seems to me that you majorly disregarded the point made by the Senior Admin. No rules were broken and procedure was followed, however it lead to the injuring of a civilian. That incident is a completely IC matter.
  3. Do you have proof to sustain these wild claims?
  4. Would be interesting to see that, do you have your POV saved?
  5. I had a stroke reading the last part. Could you please elaborate?
  6. This is a tricky one. While I don't believe this is non-RP (to some extent it is) to the point that it's report worthy, it's more of a breach of IC rules and regulations. Also him being an idiot. Who the hell would go through a door of a store robbery by themselves? The man isn't Rambo. He showed clear disregard for his own life. I'd suggest reaching out to LSSD's high command with this video for review instead so they can remind Deputies how to conduct themselves in an armed robbery, both IC and OOC reminders.

    Crim 2K21?

The first two encounters are deffinitely correct in terms of punishment given, however I don't see how the third encounter is Non-RP considering the vast ammount of shit that actually happens in real life on a constant basis. Officer wasn't harmed and was put into his trunk and locked with his radio so the individuals have a better chance of escaping and/or avoiding prison considering the firearms they had on them. I personally dislike how things like this are even reported if the officer didn't lose anything.
  8. Unfortunately people are stupid and are attracted to tragedy and action, not everyone thinks the same way as you do. (I too would get my ass out of dodge if I saw shit going down in front of me.
  9. It was secure until it wasnt. The scene was not secure at the exact moment the barricade went down and the vehicle had a straight opening to safety. The road ahead was not cordoned off, and scene management wasnt done in that area which is understandable considering the number units youve had. But then that begs the question. Why did officers open fire at individuals who at that point posed no immediate threat to life, in the direction of an area that was not secure.
  10. As a current LEO in the server I have to heavily disagree with everyone saying that the action taken to open fire on the individuals as they were fleeing is reasonable. Realistically you would have pedestrian traffic and vehicular traffic, not even considering the appartment buildings and entrances that are in the distance. You would risk all of those civilian lives in a realistic scenario (which supposedly the server and the department are striving for). As mentioned, there was no immediate risk of life, and discharging firearms in such a way is negligent and DOES risk lives of not only officers on the scene risking crossfire (which did happen in the past, MANY times), as well as possible civilians driving past / walking past. I seriously want someone to explain to me how THAT part is in any way how a police department would respond without receiving heavy backlash from the public and media.
  11. Afaik backstory doesn't have to be the same as the one you wrote for the application. It just shows if you are capable of writing a story up such as this and if you're capable of Roleplay. And I'm sorry but I laugh every time when people think that the application part that asks that you must be an American citizen or a San Andreas state citizen is a question for your real life situation, no, those are all IC parts
  12. bank robberies, especially when those were first implemented and for some reason the administration decided to bring the National Guard with a .50 cal machine gun to combat those instead of the FBI who are employed to investigate these crimes. Also the FBI investigates organized crime. Weapons shipments, kidnappings. Wouldn't hurt to bring a third party to investigate LSPD/LSSD officers of wrongdoings
  13. or since we have a mileage system, script cars to have an MPG
  14. that is factually untrue a taxi company is a private company, and the CEO would more than likely earn much more than the chief of police. Especially if that taxi company is very busy
  15. Please yes. This has been suggested multiple times, it's obvious that the community really wants this. There are many people that are more than willing to work on this.
