Philo Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 Can police get a ctrl+x option on dead bodies and an option to say who killed him as ID so IB can roleplay fingerprints, CCTV footage and such? It would make more sense. We can drastically increase RP over every dead body in the city. That would give us more chances of RP. Also if you can tell what ID belongs to the dead person would increase RP chances as well

Getting to rp a scenario of performing an autopsy with the "dead" person using /do etc. Also would add more depth to investigations and such. But then we're left with, if the person is just RPing being dead....how do they RP their body being taken away as they cant just cancel the animation and run out of central MD.

There is already a solution for this which is /ldo. If cops can track who did it. Every criminal will be placed with charges and everybody is going to be wanted.

You're not going to use the ID to abuse MDC and look him up through his ID. You'll get the ID to ldo with the ID that killed the man asking him questions for investigations for example: running his fingerprints on the dead body if he took his belongings without RPing sliding gloves on. Which brings great factor for RP here. Also it is realistic. I have never seen a crime IRL when no one witnessed the killer people just bag the body and throw it, calling it a day. Makes no sense. It's not a feature to be abused.

It's not a feature to be abused. Cops will abuse it. The sentences and prison is already fucked up. We don't need another amazing feature to torture some players. It's not being used in any other server too and there is a reason for that.

Sad part about being a criminal is getting caught. You expect people to do crimes and enjoy their lives? They get tortured by being in jail which is fair. Rofl what you're saying is wanting a system where you cant get punished for crimes or crimes that its punishments is in seconds.

A small amount of abuse is still annoying when it happens to you ya know

Nice idea though!

We are not going to be adding this option because unfortunately, people will end up using this to gain an unfair advantage or just maliciously in general. Instead, if a Detective wants to do this kind of RP, they can always coordinate with a staff member who can make sure that information given is not used maliciously and to anyone's unfair advantage, and purely for Detective RP. - Osborn. 1 1
