  1. I hope this report is a joke, as was the light hearted response that was given when you accused another player of being a bully. When i told you it's not productive to call someone names, you said "It's OK because i'm just being honest" So i said to you, if i said something in the same tone, does it make it OK because im just being honest? You then said it was fine because you don't take words to heart, which isn't the point i was trying to make at all but, hey hum. I think the issue here is you may have let your feelings get the better of you. In future, don't insult people in /b when you're frustrated with a situation.

This isn't true, i think the stark difference is we have different forums/avenues to voice our concerns and discuss it internally. 90% of the points Marksy has made are in-line with discussions that are being had behind the scenes, because we agree, changes need to be made. Also, I think from past experience, as staff we like to moreso review these sorts of threads rather than contribute, not because of fear of retribution, but moreso to allow community members to feel they have the floor/space to discuss things and unfortunately some past dicussions have taken a turn away from constructive critisism. We are always told as staff members that we are absolutely welcome to have a respectful opinion and provide constructive criticism where it's warranted. Additionally, with regards to K9 RP, this is being addressed by developers and they are reviewing the best way to improve this. Whether this be a GSR script, etc who knows, but it is absolutely on their radar.

Firstlly, you'd remove the save game file that allows max fitness (Max stamina) Then, edit the fitness items in the furniture store to be interactable (Using Cntrl X when placed on the ground) Different objects would have different purposes and they would have a decay, so you'd need to do upkeep! Skill level for each 'perk' would be out of 100 and using the item would give you 5 points and take 30 seconds per use. Skill level decays over time, but you can maintain it! Items Weights Gives you X% amount more melee damage Exercise Bike Gives you a X% speed boost when running Pullup bar Gives you X% less damage from Melee only Treadmill Allows you to hold your breath X% longer under water Skills will decay 5 points every 5 minutes. If you exercise too much, you will become fatigued and won't be able to use the machine. You can only have 2 skills at any given time. For example Treadmill skill - 25/100 Pullup Bar Skill - 5/100 You cannot do Excercise bike skill, until pullup bar skill has decayed to 0. Why? I feel like perks should be earned, and all players subject to earning them. It'd be great to see people earning their skills. It'd also be great to see people hanging out at public locations, so maybe GOV could add 1 or 2 public outdoor gyms.

Head Admin Only Staff goes to player owned house property, presses manage, changes to "Free build" Logistically speaking, all that needs to be done is change the house dimension to a freebuild (The same as business properties). Should a player like to revert back to a standard pre-build, it should just revert to the previously assigned interior. Why? Creative freedom is the first, there have been some amazing custom builds and with the furniture store now being so extensive, it'd be great to be able to have a custom property. It can be regulated by a new branch of GOV, similar to BPB and staff can uphold build rules too. It would cost a fee, which takes money from the economy organically (This is a custom build in the server right now, which is a perfect example of how creative people can be!) One minor tweak that would help however, is the ability to set doors. At the moment, they are always at the very corner of the property. Easy enough fix; /setpropertyentrance /addpropertyentrance (So people can have a backdoor!) (For a fee)

Civilian Improvement Superpost Custom Recipes for businesses This is something i’ve already spoken at length about with devs. Essentially, it’s an expansion on pre-existing scripts (Farming, Fishing, Harvesting, Cooking). You can create custom recipes (Which you’ll need to figure out yourself). Each recipe has pro’s/con’s. I.E Big meal = Quick refill of food and helps health but may slow you down in the long run. This is ideal for people who have wanted or currently do own business, such as coffee shops/restaurants etc. The hope is, to expand if successful, to Breweries for alcoholic drinks, specialty tobaccos etc. This opens up SO many opportunities! Firstly for business (No more /anim dance4, you can actually interact, sell, advertise) Harvesting - You can either harvest items yourself, or hire someone to do it, or someone freelance could collect items and barter prices. Alternatively, you could sell them to a wholesaler for a set amount of money (Similar to drop off points for farming/butchers). Cooking - You’ll have to get the experience in cooking to cook certain meals, or look to hire someone who has the skills to cook a certain meal. Sandwiches are easy peasy, but a full roast dinner? You have to be REAL experienced to know how to cook it! Selling - Businesses can finally sell lore specific items. No more Tacos and Burgers at an italian joint. You can be a seafood restaurant, a chinese restaurant, an ice-cream store! And if we expand to alcohol and specialty tobaccos, the sky is the limit! Business Status in the U Menu Once the recipe script is implemented, you should be able to navigate to the U menu to a section called “Business Opening Times” - In this menu, you’ll see the names of all registered businesses and it’ll either say OPEN or CLOSED - To allow players to see whom is operating business and where they can get food. This could be managed by the BPB (GOV), where you must apply for a business, then, once you own a business BPB can create an F4 for you. (This would all be ICly processed along with OOC, documented and as such, players would be subject to BPB guidelines/policies). To save constant scrolling, I feel the F4 menu should be reorganised into three sections, it should be Legal Factions Illegal Factions Business Factions Once you have an F4 status, it allows you the ability to do /openbusiness /closebusiness Which will trigger a change in the U menu. We could potentially make it to show how many employees are on shift too! We can expand upon perks of this method in the future, potentially faction chat if needed/necessary, treasury, invoice sheets etc. Additionally, if you are a private business, monitored by BPB, they should have an option on the F4 menu to select “Suspend business” if they are pending investigation or have violated the terms of use (This would mean they cannot /openbusiness or /closebusiness and their treasury funds are frozen until it’s unsuspended). Private Security Again, in collaboration with BPB (GOV), they could have the ability to register security companies. This would allow them to be able to generate badges (/showbadge [factionID]) which allows more realism and regulation IC! We could provide perks of holding this badge, such as discounts on items needed for the job, such as zipties, weaponry etc. Of course, this would be in line with regulations set by the BPB & LEO, but would provide great in depth RP for people wanting to expand their ideas. Mining for gold/gems It would be a freelance job, you must be employed with SAMA (San Andreas Mining Association) where you clock on at the refinery). If you are found with items on you, and you are not employed/endorsed by SAMA, you could be liable for arrest. We could add specific spots in the mine shaft that generate a chance defined probability of collecting Gem Ores/Gold Ores. We can then open the opportunity to buy machinery to refine ores obtained into things that can be sold. For example, the process to mine and refine could be as follows; Head to mining area. Begin mining in specific area. Higher mining level = higher chance of obtaining ores. Once pockets are full of ores, you head back to the refinery area (Public) (Mining drop off) You begin, you put it into a pulveriser (Where the rock is crushed to get the item inside). If you have gold, it’s smelted. You can either smelt gold flakes into Nuggets or bars. If you have 5 nuggets, you can make a bar. The price of selling gold should fluctuate depending on market value (People selling, time of day, etc). For Gems (Rubies, Diamonds, Sapphires, Opal, Emerald), you’d pulverise and then take it to the refinery area, where impurities are removed. It would have a value (Low/Medium/High) dictated by chance and skill level. You can then sell the gems/gold at the jewellery store on Portolla dr. Additionally, when in the mining area, if you stay in there too long, it will start to tick away at your health due to the air quality. So ensure you take food/cigarettes with you to relieve your stress (Cigarette script will need to be slightly adjusted). This is something we can expand on in the future too! Hair/Clothing Presets We can make it so that you can as standard have 2 presets, however, the clothes must be present on you inside a bag. If you are Silver VIP, you can have 3 Presets Gold 4 and 5 Presets for Diamond. You can either do this via the U menu or by typing /changeclothes 0/5 (Depending on vip status and clothing in pockets). This prevents purchasing the same items over and over, encourages people to carry clothing on them inside a bag and allows people to change quickly. There should be some restrictions added however 1. You cannot do this whilst cuffed/tazed 2. You cannot do this whilst inside a car/trunk 3. You cannot do this whilst injured/knocked out 4. There is a 3 minute cooldown between usage (To prevent abuse). 5. The clothing must be on your person, either in a bag or in your direct inventory. Hair: You should be able to do /tiehair /untie hair - All this would do is apply a default hairstyle to your head so that you can wear masks and your hair not clip through. (Female, default ponytail) (Males, Default buzzcut) This should have a timer also, to prevent abuse. BAG changes Bags should have a slot in the left hand side, rather than being in your pocket, you should also be able to right click on it, whilst using the I menu, and selecting “Open bag” which opens another inventory at the top. So you don’t have to put the bag on the floor to access it and it doesn’t take a slot in your inventory. It should be the same when looting someone. (weight of the bag should still affect pocket weight). Beards If beards are to remain an item, there needs to be a facial accessory slot added, so that people can have holsters AND beards. Tattoo removal Add the option to go to the tattoo parlor and remove tattoos rather than replace to cover up! Rings It’d be great if we could ice our players, especially with the revamp to mining! I’ve seen a few mods on GTA5mods, similar to this one. We could start off with basic engagement rings/wedding bands and if they work as expected, expand. They would be purchased from the jewellery store and if he’s up to it, Bala could work on variations for addition! It’d be great if we didn’t limit players to choosing between a watch or a ring, or a radio or earings so ideally, a ring slot would be ideal. Hygiene degradation Basically, the longer you go without showering, the more you smell and if you get to less than 10% flies appear around your character and an /ame appears permanently above your head to say you have body odour. You can clean yourself a number of ways. Shower in your apartment (Anyone that has an apartment/house will be able to do it when inside an interior) Shower in the river/sea At a sink object (In furniture store) Wet wipes To shower, you must have soap in your pocket, you right click and select “Wash self” It will only work with the above items/locations ^ This should also tie in with GSR. You should be able to wash GSR off using soap, but it must be good or excellent quality soap. LEO should then be given an actual script to test for GSR /gsrtest [ID] Logic: Player A SHOOTS GUN - ADD INVISIBLE GSR ITEM TO INVENTORY/PLAYER that has expiry of 60 minutes PLAYER A does not wash and LEO uses /GSRtest [ID] (Response would be; player A shot a weapon approximately 0-60 minutes ago OR PLAYER A takes good quality soap, washes TWICE with the soap, GSR is removed. OR Player A takes excellent quality soap and washes ONCE with the soap, GSR is removed. Soap Manufactorer Will work along side the recipe script and is something that is created with the use of a pot and an oven. This opens up business opportunities for players again! Soap types would include: Mint Soap Honey Soap Strawberry Soap ETC ETC We could expand and make it a skill and the higher the skill the higher quality soap you produce, the higher the quality soap, the longer it lasts. (You can use 1 bar of soap 3 times as standard, 5 for medium quality soap, 7 for good quality soap and 10 for excellent quality soap). Sickness I’d like to start this off by saying i wouldn’t want it to affect players TOO much, due to knowing how annoying maintenance of your character can be when you want to focus on something else. I think if this was implemented, it needs to be a LOWER chance type situation. It’d be a great expansion and something great for MD to be able to interact with, if people could get sick and it would tie in with other scripts (Such as hygiene, hunger etc) Sickness type examples: Infection from wound If you get stabbed/shot and you are not /cpred /stabilized within a certain period of time, there could be a chance you could develop an infection, which would require antibiotics. It would work similar to the drunk & OD script combined. FIRST you’d begin to feel dizzy, so blurry vision etc. Then, if your health drops below a certain level due to not treating the illness, you’d pass out every so often until treated. Treatment would obviously be antibiotics. Common Cold If you swim in water for longer than a certain period of time, you are liable to get a cold. It requires a saline drip that takes 2 minutes (2 minute timer). Salmonella From eating poor quality food or raw meat! Treatment would be immodium. Commands could include things like /examine [playerID] PLAYER NAME appears to be suffering with ‘illness name’ /prescribe [playerID] [drugname] (antibiotics/immodium/saline) Paintball Arena I’m aware there is a script around of this nature, which would be a great addition for those who enjoy this type of RP. If you’re hit with more than 3 paintballs, you are teleported to the start/entrance of the paintball arena and get a notification [You have been eliminated from this round] UberEats This would be two part freelance job. Initially, every 3 minutes there is a delivery job that will pop up at peoples houses. You deliver food and get money. If you deliver within a certain time period, you get a bonus ‘tip’ from the recipient. If/when recipes are added, we could make this an ACTUAL interactive job, where players, similar to the taxi job can request an ubereats driver, it then opens up a text message where you can advise what you’d like to order. Player whom accepts the order will get a base amount for delivery and players can choose to tip if they would like. Freelance Landscaper Certain locations on the map would have areas you can go and ‘landscape’ where you mow the grass with a mower. You would get your equipment and uniform from the start location (TBD) and then head to the location on your mower) Places would include: University Golf Course Dog Park North Sheldon Ave Park Observatory walking paths Baytree canyon walking paths Casino Grass Mirror Park (It would be a nice and simple, point to point system). Custom Engraving You'll head to the jewellers in Los Santos, and upon entry you'll see UI by the engraving machine. When you press E on the "Engrave Object" prompt, it tells you to put the object into the engraver (You can use the crafting script for this part). Once inside, you select "Engrave" and a box will pop up to allow you to enter your chosen text. Then when you press enter, it takes 1 minute to engrave your object. Once engraved, your item description will change; STEP 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Finished product Engraving should cost 10K per item. You should only be able to engrave items that make sense, so for the sake of realism, i've listed them to make a start: Watches Rings (If they're added) Necklaces Bracelets Guns Melee Weapons MORE TO COME!

  8. You taze someone, they ragdoll, you try to use the hotkey, doesn't work (Nothing happens). You can only use the cuff hotkey when they are no longer ragdolling,
  9. Hey! Jessica Nash here, you can remove this as an example. As much as SD are in our JURO a lot atm, this time, I was eternally grateful. I was minding my business in the VERY early hours of the morning when shots were wizzing past my car. I thought i was being DMed if i'm honest. Turn around, a street away, there is a massive shootout. I dismount and hide behind my car, drop 3 panics and start opening fire as i'm shot at. SD rocks up and saves my ass. Jessica Nash was eternally grateful, whilst she managed to down two, if SD didn't show up, she'd surely have been killed.
  10. I wont go into detail about staff operations but I can advise that staff do have means and tools to identify and investigate cheaters, and do. We also take reports of cheating seriously. I can understand without insider knowledge, it may look like nothing is being done, however, it is. MarcoD is very much alive and kicking.
  11. As I mentioned above, players are 100% welcome to DM me confidentially to discuss situations that may have made them uncomfortable. Even if it's just to discuss, digest and make sense of something. The rules are black and white and if both parties hold themselves to these standards, we can maintain a healthy environment to play in. If one player does not, we have forum reports, in game reports and you can absolutely DM me.

ECRP already has strict rules surrounding this; "Players are only allowed to engage in sexual, torture, or disgusting roleplay if all players involved including witnesses give prior OOC consent. Such roleplay should therefore not be held in public areas or areas where players commonly visit, e.g., prison/jail. Usage of ethnic and/or LGBT+ related slurs is considered disgusting roleplay and all parties involved must give prior OOC consent before it can be done. In addition, it must make roleplay sense for your character to want to use any racial slurs In Character. Racism Out-of-Character is strictly forbidden. Any form of rape, sexual assault, or paedophilia roleplay is strictly forbidden. This includes insinuations of such actions and comments eluding to sexual assault." Generic insults such as B****, derogatory terms insinuating a woman being with multiple men etc are not against the rules. You 100% have the right to feel safe in this community, and have the ability to inform a player that certain words are triggers for you and ask them to stop, where we expect players to attempt to be amicable. We also cannot completely censor players, or else, we'll be running around calling each other silly gooses. That being said, my DMS are ALWAYS open should a female player feel targeted in this manner, uncomfortable or need someone to talk to. Bala is correct that every woman has either been or known someone that has fell victim to lude behavior and its a difficult subject for some to discuss. Remember, understand and uphold the rules and we should be able to maintain a safe playing environment.
  13. Perhaps it can be a 24-48 hour item that expires and you aren't always losing it OR it can despawn upon death or when taken by someone else.

I don't normally comment on posts of this nature but as someone who is in AIR-1 (The helicopter), a lot, I wanted to clear up some misconceptions or provide information that may not be known. "the aim-bot lock-on camera tracking is a whole other issue too" - This is the first thing I wanted to mention. This is only available if the pilot of the helicopter has a co-pilot firstly, which 9 times of 10, people fly solo (I do). The second thing I wanted to mention is, the lock-on (Via helicam) has massively been adjusted and it's now almost impossible to lock onto bikes especially, but also, if a vehicle passes underneath so much as a lamp-post or tree, the lock breaks, for this reason, I don't even use it. For me personally, the only two cool things about the helicam is the light and it's view for cinematic purposes. So please understand, the Helicam was massively adjusted after it was initially released and the "Lock-on" feature is now seldom used. "I understand the OP cars but police also has such vehicles" - Simply put, we don't. I won't mention which cars we have, because it's IC information, but I really have to stress that we not only have IC protocols in place regarding high speed vehicles, but also, since the Niobi/Itali release, do not have matched vehicles. "render distance" - Typically, anything under 1500ft, the helicopter is easy to hear. Again there are IC regulations regarding helicopter height that the air support division is restrained by. Meaning there are IC repercussions potentially for flying any lower than certain altitudes. However, think about yourself in a car, with the windows up, or even with the windows down travelling at highspeed, how well are you going to hear? Would you hear a plane above 1500ft? No, you wouldnt. My final thought however, about helicopters attending "Just a speeding ticket" or "Just a plain traffic stop" - Again, there are IC protocols regarding how many units should be responding or attending a traffic stop, to stop it from being unrealistic, to keep it fair etc. Given the current climate of vehicles (Especially with the release of Niobi and Itali), if you are in one of the 'Meta' vehicles that are difficult to be matched, you may find response proportionate to the vehicle you are driving and like others have mentioned, there are a few ways you can hide/avoid AIR.

  17. At the moment we use /fdo to describe things that script cannot show, and lots of our player base use this to advertise. My idea is that weazel news can start selling "Poster Paper" that scriptly allow you to add an image to an item. You'd buy it from Weazel and there would be RP of printing your advertisements (Weazel can charge based on quantity and do some RP about printing). The physical item would look like this in the inventory; You can then place these items down (Maximum of 5 to prevent any sort of spam or lag issues). It would have placement limitations similar to placing furniture down but can only be placed upright (On a wall etc). The item when being placed would look like this; Once placed, you'll see two UI options "View Poster" and "Edit Poster" - Edit poster will allow you to put in an IMGUR link (www.imugr.com/linkname.png) (Only the owner of the poster can edit). Posters will expire in 24-48 hours. We currently have this capability in our MDC (Thanks to Steve!). I was hoping this is something we could use and expand on; ( It Goes without saying that our server rules would apply automatically to this, including our Gross RP, Non-RP etc rules ).

Expected behavior: You should be able to press 'Y' when you have a money bag in your hand, however, nothing happens when you do this. You can interact with the UI fine, it just wont let you replenish the ATM. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Take the money transporter job until you are assigned the life invader bank ATM. ( Tried returning vehicle and quitting job to get a new ATM assigned, sadly, it just reassigned the same atm.
  19. This is a constructive suggestion that i would be happy to bring up to command. Perhaps re-evaluating when it is deployed is the way to go, as the "Gunship" is a real thing in real life, it is regulated, we can look at it more.
  20. PD doesn't 'win' every fight. Since the gun update especially, I have found multiple situations where LEO's have been completely wiped. There was a situation just 2 nights ago in which the entirety of SD was wiped, and this was during peak hours, not at 4am (when it usually happens). Criminals want/choose to play criminal characters, this includes wanting to not die and not get caught. If they stay and try to wipe out officers, they will die, it's natural selection and how it goes. Gather your stuff, leave with your life, think before you take action, don't make stupid decisions. There are so many criminals that I have personally seen that RARELY get caught because they are smart. With regards to talks about improvements. My DM's are open. So-long as I'm sent constructive criticism, I'll always take it into consideration and bring it up where appropriate.
  21. Show me, in what world, in the US (Not South of the border), do criminals with heavy weapons, over power the police when confronted. They don't. That's why you have to be smart about where/when/what you're doing as a criminal. Reducing AP does not make sense imo. (My opinion only). Criminals IRL shoot when cornered and flee at the first opportunity to protect their lives and their stuff. Rarely as a grudge and definitely not to shout "GG guys" whilst laying on the floor. If you have any further suggestions about how LEO can improve your experience, I'm always happy to listen however!
  22. In my spare time, i like to mess around with photoshop and a few other programs. Over the summer, i subscribed to a premium AI service that can apply filters to images. Whilst this is still in it's infancy, it allows a the foundation of a photo to be created, where i then use photoshop to create really cool custom photos. Below are some of the pictures i've created!   23. I have frequently seen on police live shows, that they announce "Tazer Tazer Tazer" before using their tazer, i agree (In the UK) However, what you are talking about is internal IC policy (Force Continuum), and would likely be addressed better of an IC nature. With LSPD/GOV etc.

Purchasable VIP Interiors You purchase this via F6 perhaps or via the panel, once purchase, you head to the refund request section perhaps, submitting your receipt and then once accepted by staff, you make a /report in game for the suitable staff member, who can then adjust the current house to an empty lot (Just like businesses) so that you can make a custom interior just like above. (The above video is taken from my own custom apartment, built in a business property) This means no more basic loadout apartments, more customisation and personalisation!
