  1. I think a "empty" feature would be good for bags/briefcases, maybe with a pretty long action timer so it's not just instantly dropping everything
  2. +1 Would still like an option to show all if required.
  3. This is expected, when you list a vehicle for sale it is only for 3 days. Once the 3 days are over it sends it to the closest parking garage.
  4. I don't think this is useful information at all to bother implementing. For question reports, these very rarely stack up so it's not useful as there's usually a lot of support available. For bugs and rule breaks, knowing how many people are before you or knowing the average completion time doesn't really change the fact you need help with a bug or a rule break. It's always announced that if your rule break report doesn't get taken in time then take it to the forum. Adding an estimated wait time just would add pressure to the staff with people complaining "my report took 15 minutes but it said it would be 12". And whilst you're kind of right it's a FIFO system, there's a lot of variables such as the urgency, or easiness of fixing the issue to take into account. If anything I think it could be dangerous as people might submit a rule break report and then see "the estimated response time is 20 minutes" and then think to themselves that it's not worth it.
  5. *HONK* "Your bus is here" Seems better to me
  6. +1 These are nice changes I'd also like to see multiple routes, maybe one through grapeseed and sandy and one going the other way to the west highway just to break up the bus convoys that happen as well as breathe a little life into sandy and grapeseed. Also I wonder if the instant-stopping can be replaced with something similar to the driving test where you press "e" when in the marker when you've fully stopped.
  7. It was a casual Wednesday afternoon in Los Santos for Mason Bathsheba, going around the city doing his duties to Flarg. Spreading the word to non-believers, when he had the bright idea use some of his new found cash to get hold of some Enchantment Powder (literally crack) for the other Bathshebas, he believed this would get him some favor with the leaders of the group in the next church session so he got info on where some drug labs were from Samoa Laei Bathsheba and went cruising around to see if he could find a supplier. A few close calls later with some shifty individuals he came across a woman talking to a few people about collecting weed for her at one of the labs. Mason sparked up a conversation with this woman and expressed his interest in buying some enchantment powder from her and she was very happy to oblige and meet Mason in an hour to make a deal. “$1,000 per crack seems like a bargain” - Mason thought to himself, not having any clue about the price of drugs in the city. Mason met this new acquaintance “Livvy” at a parking lot once she had finished creating the Enchantment Powder and the two of them made a deal in her car where he pulled out the wad of cash from his ceremonial bathrobe and handed it to her and received the crack. Mason inspected the product after getting back into his own vehicle and thought: “Hmmm I wonder...” The other Bathshebas seem to like crack so much, just one won’t hurt would it? After all, might as well see what all the hype is about with all the criminals talking about it. “I’ll just have the one try in a safe space” he told himself as he’d heard about “bad trips” and made his way to a happy place: The old Epsilon Program headquarters. As he’d made his way to the top of the building, overlooking the mansion of a headquarters, reminiscing of old times he prepared the crack and before he could doubt himself, took it. He started to see things, see things in a way he’d never seen them before. The powerful and elusive drug was now entering his system. He felt euphoria rushing through his system and all of his senses felt heightened for a brief moment. Memories hit him from his time in the Epsilon Program up to his time in the Bathshebas and all the other cults he had joined to scam money from them. Neon lights beaming from the Epsilon Program Logo on the side of the building were blinding. This was an issue, he suddenly lost his footing from the side of the building, this building was not much of a safe place anymore as he hurtled down the side of the building, crashing into the floor whilst being as high as a UFO. Blood went everywhere, he passed out with his head cracked open, multiple broken bones across his body, left for dead with none of his family there to help. A passer-by going to his apartment noticed Mason injured and dying on the floor and called for LSEMS who then came to rush Mason to the hospital. Mason had to get surgery on his head to close up the severe cracks in his skull and had metal plates inserted into his right arm and leg. They kept him in intensive care until he woke up delirious and unsure where he was. “W...W...WHATS G...G...GOING O...O....O...ON?!?!” He cried out for help with a new stutter, barely able to form a sentence whilst the nurses tried to restrain him to the bed and inject him with sedative to calm him down. Mason grabbed the clipboard with his patient chart on from his bed and whacked the nurse with it, knocking her out and made a run for it, well more of a stumble, running out of the hospital into the streets in his hospital gown confused about what happened and who he was. He made it down the street with the clipboard still in his hand and examined it: Mason Bathsheba Unknown Age Several severe diastatic skull fractures Potential brain damage - Patient must go into care under observation if no family can be found He made his way to a clothing store to change out of his hospital gowns and found a really nice red armor set made from latex (obviously meant for cosplay) and thought “th...th...this will p...p..protect me while I l...l...look for my f...f...family”

    DOC Visitation Room

I personally did 3 visitations today myself so they're definitely getting done At the end of the day they're an IC luxury that we allow people to have when we can spare the personnel and deny for various other reasons. If you believe the system is broke then you're welcome to try join DOC to get any changes implemented or talk to someone in-character about it.

    DOC Visitation Room

We have a proper system. We allow inmates visitors if: a) There's enough other online guards to do the other stuff that's higher priority b) The inmate hasn't been a pain in the ass The code red thing is an IC status implemented from too much inmate violence, inmates fighting = not allowed visitations. IC actions having IC consequences. But overall, we do offer them and have several visitations each day, you must have just been unlucky with the timing or the specific people on duty.

    DOC Visitation Room

This is already a thing. Just go to prison and ask for a visitation and see where it goes from there. Obviously subject to online guards but we've always offered this option.
  11. I like this, reminds me of the Total RP 3 add-on in WoW, just a way to add more character to your character.
  12. First of all, welcome to the server and I hope any initial negative experiences don't turn you away. I think the main issue you've faced is that it's other new players that have done these bad things that either might not know the rules well enough or not be that committed to roleplay which is unfortunate considering the number of incidents you've had. I'd highly recommend getting Nvidia Shadowplay or something similar that records the last X minutes of gameplay at the press of a button, the overhead for this is very low and shouldnt really give you a performance hit and is worth it for you to report rulebreaks like the ones you mentioned. Recording is the best way to deal with rulebreakers and you can /report in game if something happens. The rewarding aspect from buying your first car and building yourself up from the incidents is a good opportunity for your character development and it's good to see someone who thinks of it that way. Sometimes you gotta take the L when you are figuratively and literally knocked down but if you can spin that into ways to progress your characters story that's always a win. You'll definitely pick up the quirks of the server and ways to avoid things like your vehicle being stolen and avoiding trouble etc for sure.
  13. I would recommend adding some formatting to your suggestion for it to gain traction, a wall of text is not very appealing of a read.
  14. +1 for this, as I've commented on several suggestions like this, just a way to maybe jump-start your car to get it to the bare minimum to take it to a mechanic (where another crash would stall it again) would be a nice compromise that doesn't take away mechanic RP as your car will still need servicing. +1 Similar to the /ringprison at DOC, but for PD and SD. Would be nice to not need to dial 911 or find a cop car about for a non-emergency. However with your complaints about the impound, I'm not sure how effective this would even be. -1 The stuff in lockers does not disappear after X amount of time like when we stored stuff on the floor before the lockers update. If there's nobody about, just come back later it's that simple. -1 I get the frustration, I've had that many times myself but I think impound interaction with a police officer is something that shouldn't be scripted to be automatic. Instead I'd prefer more of an IC push to get them to be more active with it where possible as opposed to scripting it like you suggest.
  15. Right now the only work around is to skip country select when setting it up in-game on the phone or do the initial set-up in your normal PC browser (https://lifeinvader.eclipse-rp.net/)

    My Issues with Eclipse

My main character got 2x General Misdemeanors in my first days playing on the server over something silly, like a week or two later I joined DOC, where I am today. They had similar policies to the other factions mentioned. Here I am still there over a year later as one of the people leading the faction, all it took was a bit of explanation in my application and interview and it was pretty much overlooked. If you get a felony on the other hand I don't think it's unreasonable to not allow someone with a felony into the likes of PD/SD/DOC. There's plenty of other factions such as mechanics, taxi service, news agency and EMS that allow ex-felons so it's not like there's a lack of options for people who want to go down the route if they stay clean long enough. I know plenty of characters that only needed to stay clean from very serious felonies for a few weeks and can get work in a faction. And I'm talking like very extensive charges of kidnapping, multiple accounts of murder etc. So compared to them, your assisting a GTA or whatever it was is childs play and shouldn't hold you back. I just don't see how this is an issue personally.
  17. I don't feel this needs to be added. There are currently script ways to sell your vehicle or property to other players in the form of on-the-door buying and high/low end dealerships. For trades such as car for a house, you can do RP contracts and should things go south from them scamming you, you can look for IC ways to get that money back e.g. reporting it to the police and have them investigate it. The scamming is the risk you take by putting trust in other people and trying to circumvent the tax associated with the script ways of selling vehicles/properties. People are not allowed to OOCly lie or mislead you with their ooc chat or /do's so providing all the RP of a contract is there and you cover yourself, there's no reason why you'd be unable to pursue it ICly. There are also other ways to not get scammed such as using a trusted middle-man. That being said, as the judicial system grows, maybe we'll see more proper RP ways for contracts that can be officially trusted. But overall I don't see a need for this to be implemented, it can all be done with RP.

    Stump jumping

There is a chance one of the situational questions (6 & 7) involved stunt jumping and this was overlooked by you. It might have been a typo of the person reviewing
  19. Ash

    Stump jumping

Do you mean stunt jumping? If so then it's when you do an unrealistic jump with your vehicle e.g. driving off a cliff or up a ramp to gain mad air. Whilst the GTA mechanics might make this not as punishing as IRL, you should aim to act realistic when in a vehicle so "stunt jumping" is when you perform unrealistic jumps as if you were doing stunts.
  20. I always welcome asian boys, welcome back

    Bus Stops on GPS

+1 It would make it so people are using the buses. I'm up for any suggestion that adds more actual RP to freelance jobs
  22. Welcome to the server! If I meet you I am hoping you pull a rabbit out of a hat and I'll be disappointed if not
  23. +1 The taxi shows the distance of how far away it is, I think this alone being added to mechanic + newsagent would be valuable as there's no way to know if they're still en-route That being said a blip on the GPS showing their location wouldn't be unrealistic as that's a thing for the likes of uber eats IRL so I'd definitely support this more
  24. +1 This is a good idea
