Need to add a way to impound / tow motorcycles even if it is only by doing a slash command with a tow truck to load them into the truck to remove at the destination (or an command that sends them to impound that requires the tow to go to impound to complete the command). Currently the bank is overrun with bikes illegally parked which the cops should be able to handle IC (though it is also an OOC issue since it causes a lot of people to lag), but cannot due to tow trucks not having flatbeds or whatever is needed. Requiring an OOC method to fix this problem (admin manually clearing them) when it should be ICly handled by mechanics / police.

Nov 14 2019 While arranging a giveaway two men stole two of our giveaway cars. Nontheless we moved on to giving Jamie Freeman his new Rhapsody! Next up we gave Zed Lewis a brand new Dilettante! Thanks Shawn Jo for the generous donation. Letov and Eric still dressed from their Photo Op got Daniel Alexei a new Virgo! Congratulations Daniel. The Brioso R/A which was stolen earlier had been chopped, but we had it insured through Mors. Congratulations to Oliver Hudson on a new Brioso R/A straight from Mors Insurance. Congratulations to Vladimir Petchenko on his new Washington! Our other giveaway vehicle that was stolen seemed to have been parked in a body of water, but once again our Mors insurance saved the day! Congratulations to Jamal Shiggins on his Surge! Big thanks to Junior Chevy for your generous donation of the vehicle! Congratulations Cole Hightower on your brand new Picando!

Nov 13 2019 Congratulations to Jeremy Williamson on his new truck! However, there was an unfortunate 'accident' in the parking lot after he got his vehicle! The medics quickly arrived to the scene and helped the injured men. Later at the bank Jeremy informed us that he crashed his car and the 'engine is broken'. However, at the bank Eric and Letov observed his truck drive by with a cop in tow.

Letov and Eric's Cars; For Under Pars Founders: Eric Demarco and Letov Vladislav Letov and Eric's Cars; For Under Pars is a charitable non-profit organization aimed at getting people a running start in the city by getting them their first new car. As taxi drivers Letov and Eric saw the struggles that people coming into the city go through before getting a vehicle. Through these experiences they were inspired to create this charity to help people. This program also helps the local economy by putting extra cash in the pockets of new citizens, providing extra trucking jobs and money for the salesmen at the car dealerships. It also helps get Warreners off the road as they are not purchased for the program! Feel free to contact us about any donations you wish to pledge to the charity to be added to our donators list. 100% of donations will go towards purchasing and giving away cars. We accept cash and cars as donations (cars will be valued at approximate dealership stock cost). Joy Ryder $2,000 - Tony Rodgers $1,000 Careful when dealing with these individuals as they are willing to defraud charitable organizations: Need a car? Apply for Cars For Under Pars Help keep the charity running by making a pledge to donate.

Date and time (provide timezone): (Happening since around 11-4-2019) Character name: Eric Demarco Issue/bug you are reporting: Setting Cruise Control to a lower speed than you are traveling causes the engine to stall. Expected behavior: Car slows to new speed without stalling Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Steps: 1. Set Cruise Control to 130 (or 110) 2. Advance speed to 130 (or 110) 3. Set cruise control to 70 while traveling 130 (or 110) 4. Notice the car stalls immediately instead of slowing to 70. Clip of Issue: https://streamable.com/hatgq Vehicle license plate number*:

It should be a option for the house seller. I am sure many people wouldn't want a bunch of low balling hagglers to bug them in-game about their property.
-
You want a 4th car and haven't even gotten a house/apartment yet? That seems more Nonrp than a limit on cars to be honest.

In Los Angeles they do not go from Red to yellow to green, the go Red to Green to Yellow to Red (starting point). I agree the lights are funky, but our penal code only says you need to yieled at traffic signals, so just treat them as a stop sign if anything but green and it's okay.
-
I wouldn't mind seeing an option to see smaller signatures instead of completely on/off. People could have 2 variants of their signatures and one would be required to be a certain dimension maximum and the other would be as it is now. Currently I have them all off (and have basically since I frequented the forum) but would not mind seeing some smaller sized signatures to see who the people are instead of only their forum name.
-
That is because basically everyone else on the forum put their signature in their signature (hence I do not see them).. and this topic is about obnoxiously large signatures. Yours is/was a 1000x563 image with just your name in block text when the entire text fits in 678x70 space. Just kind of fit the bill.
-
Oh, did I make this topic? I could have sworn someone else did.
-
What's more annoying are the people who manually put their gigantic ass picture at the end of every post (not even in the signature). I have signatures disabled and have to manually make adblock rules for these people putting signatures in the body of their posts (Hi Jimmy Mayweather) which ultimately doesn't work because he is manually uploading the file each time, but at least he'll run out of forum upload space eventually.

The worst part of that report is that it is contrary to the rules: 14. Deathmatch (DM) Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property.
-
You need to define what "at gun point" means. Technically I could have someone 50 feet away "at gunpoint", but I don't think that should be reason for DM rights. Also, if this were ever to happen car stalling needs to be completely reworked at least in terms of melee/weapon stalling cars. Anyways, I'll always throw a -1 for any suggestion that pushes the server closer to GTA:O and further from RP. I don't think we need a convoluted rule in general for this situation.. if you feel the user is doing NonRP by baiting/taunting using their car as a NCZ then you should report them for such. It is the first bullet point under NonRP: "Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay." This would cover general baiting and what not, but still allow someone to simply drive away to escape a situation.

Nice new track friend. It's okay to be different.. don't get too upset about people that are jealous of what you are or have. Keep your head up Mr. Inguana the haters are always going to hate. I hope you keep making great new songs! Sincerely your friend, Eric Demarco P.S. I love your helmet with it's inguana spikes, bullet hole and the feathers you drew on it.. it looks great and unique!

Nice song Mr Inguana. It was pretty cool.

Now let's visit the same scenario. Two gangs, purple and green on bad terms. A few green gang members are chilling in the hood, purple car drives around. They decide to make a play for the car. They go close, point weapons, they tell him "Out the car!". At this point, the driver has a choice, he can make a run for it, risk getting injured/his car stalled, or he surrenders. I feel that this is much more realistic and better suited for a roleplaying game, than hard coded rules that force you to act in a very linear fashion. Biggest hell no to this suggestion. I think this change removes your entire civilian population over night. Which is mot a very good move (unless your goal is to eliminate them) and has a complete lack of foresight. At minimum you need to add a clause about the person you are shooting in the car having either done an illegal activity or hostile activities towards you. Your current wording opens anyone and everyone up to just people rolling up saying "get out" once then instantly disabling your cars (because that is how cars work for some reason) and robbing you for no real RP reason or benefit. Your situation is fine as described IF purple and green are "at war" or have some previous RP to enable them to act in that way, but I don't see this working as a general case rule whatsoever and ultimately would just lead to people just DMing everyone out of their cars with little to no roleplay (because they haven't figured out how to log into GTA:O).
-
Pretty sure that would fall under NonRP. "Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay."
