I think doing actions within DOC like prisoner jobs to reduce time is a better idea. You have to consider that DOC is still a faction with members that want to RP with prisoners and to outright deny them of this by logging out as soon as you arrive at DOC is unfair on them imo. This seems like a temporary fix for something that really needs work on but I agree with the sentiment that going to DOC feels like an OOC punishment.

I am absolutely opposed to this, IRL helis like the LAPD uses can fly for 3 hours. Having the tank of a Kamacho severely limits what an on shift AIR unit can do, you have to consider that not only is the helicopter providing aerial support for pursuits but they also conduct patrols of their own and with a limited fuel tank this will severly disadvantage the AIR unit. As a long standing member of ASD I know countless people that have the ability to lose the heli, it's really not difficult if you know what you are doing. If a chase continues for an hour plus then I simply put it down to the driver not taking advantage of where the heli cannot see, and there are multiple places within the city that the heli cannot see with multiple exits. Instead of blaming PD for your inability to lose the AIR unit why don't you look at your own driving and do better, because I've seen people that can drive well, and they can lose PD.

This is not due to the server, rather due to the game itself. The 2 door version is part of the Tuner DLC released for GTA online and when the cars first came out they were much faster than other cars in the same category leading Rockstar to nerf them, they were nerfed to the point where they are now nearly unusable in online races and that affect has obviously happened on the server. I don't know much about editing base cars so I'm unsure if they're able to be changed. The tuners also have lost the ability to break boost, this is incredibly obvious when driving something like a Calico, when you attempt this mechanic in one instead of accelerating faster than normal the car is stuck travelling at a constant 60-80 km/h. I hope that it's fixable and something is put in place to make Tuners more viable for people to use, I love the look of these cars and I enjoy seeing them being driven about.

LSPD hardly ever deploys two helicopters for a situation, in fact in most instances it's advised against doing so. As for cops tazing people who run you clearly haven't been in a real situation that involves cops. You really need to do some research before spreading misinformation like this.

PD/SD/MD/Weazel/NG have access to helicopters and on occasion admins spawn in helis/planes for events. This is all it should be restricted to, -1.

PD/SD have strict guidelines to follow for when they get to deploy and use certain weapons and vehicles whereas criminals can spend all day roaming around in a super with an AK on their back if they had the money and really wanted to. PD don't just choose to use expensive vehicles and weapons unless they're of the rank and the situation they're in calls for it.

The limit is 80, it's not unreasonable for him to give you a 1st degree speeding ticket. There is also a parking pay script implemented. I'm not 100 percent sure if the pier has the script but LSPD can run a command to see if the vehicle has a valid parking permit. There is no malice behind these charges, if the cop in question wants to roleplay like this who are you to question what he does? Not everyone wants to run around and shoot all the time.

I think a threshold multiplier should be introduced for jail times, say if you reach 3 hours in time there is a multiplier that decreases your time in jail for charges added that go over the 3 hours. Say if you get 2 counts of murder and felony evasion, the two counts of murder will take you to 3 hours in jail, then a multiplier comes into play and decreases the felony evasion from one hour down to 30 minutes. So the multiplier would be at 0.5x and would only come into play once the 3 hour threshold is met. I think this is a good compromise between the two opinions.

No I read all of it, you're complaining about wanting us to step into your shoes when you haven't even thought of how much planning goes into this sort of stuff from PDs side. Without revealing too much information there are hours of work from PD's side that has gone into documentation and the gang field unit, to say what we're doing is piss poor rp is frankly insulting. PD is a reactionary faction and if you are going around acting like you are El Chapo why are you suprised when there's cruisers following your every move? So PD wins in this situation yet you are arguing that we shouldn't go in because we're supposed to think we'll lose? This doesn't make any sense. All in all it's down to how you approach roleplaying as a criminal, I know many smart criminals that I hardly interact with because they know what they are doing yet I come across the same 10-20 people daily because of their actions. Instead of complaining about what PD are doing why don't you change your approach.

PD isn't broken lol, PD is a reactionary faction and because of the way criminals have acted PD have had to make changes to how they operate. If you want to really point the finger point the finger at the criminals using high speed cars to evade cops. I don't personally have a problem with how the server currently works regarding this. If criminals are using supercars to evade why can't PD use supercars to keep up with them? Edit; To add onto this if everyone were using warrerners to evade I can guarantee you that all cruisers wouldn't go faster than 160.
