  1. Date and time (provide timezone): n/a Character name: Zion Willard Issue/bug you are reporting: The 240km/h is bypassable Expected behavior: It should not be Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: If a vehicle is repaired by an admin, I believe the speed cap is removed from the vehicle - as is what happened when a comet retro I was driving was repaired by a member of the staff team due to desync issues. There are other ways I believe people can bypass this, but I think these are known by staff and I wont mention them on an open post for obvious reasons. Vehicle license plate number*:
  2. -1 Drug timers and prices are stable as they are so long as theyre used properly. There is really no need to change anything as of now.
  3. I like the suggestion, but turfs used to be about much more than just PD v Crim - was really mainly centered aroung gang v. gang conflict and interaction which inherently brought PD involvement. I think that this would be a valuable addition to the turf system in general if it was incorporated into it however. +1
  4. I agree with the core of the robbery rules and the goal they intended to achieve, but I personally believe the implementation/wording in the rule itself has been sloppy to say the least. Clothing store/Gas Station/Miner/Farmer robberies during the day absolutely should not exist, this was the main way that civilians were being battered in the prior ruleset. However, robberies during the day in areas such as Jamestown, Grove Street, The Barrio, Stab, Puprle Dino, Sandy Shores, etc. would realistically happen IRL, these are all places isolated from rapid response times as well as being much more "ghetto" neighborhoods. I see no reason why players should not be looking over their shoulders in shady places that are notoriously gang controlled. As for my report, I think Timmaay put it better than I could: Yes, we believe the reported parties had motive to commit the robbery, however, the way in which it was carried out was NON RP and poor role-play. Robbing others at a public clothing store so openly at a busy time is unrealistic. Ways this could have been avoided would have been to plan out better role-play. This could have been done multiple ways. Examples: - Have one or two members discreetly role-play holding a gun to the victims and moving them as opposed to several people coming in guns blazing in a public area with witnesses. - Follow and plan an RP scenario where you can catch the intended victim in a discreet area. - Conduct an ambush or setup. As a note, I was in rooks from their conception to just before coming official and in that time progressed to be high command along with Al Romano. While we were in Rooks, the council - more notably the Triads - had an extremely close relationship with us, commonly aiding each other in their efforts and reaching diplomatic solutions to various issues that arose. We had implemented our own tax system on the smaller gangs around us, and were very successful in maintaining peace by doing so. Due to us developing close ties with the majority of High Command in Triads at the time along with internal turmoil within the gang Al and I left together to go to the Triads. We did not leave because "Triads big", we left because of our IC friendships we had developed and we felt our skills and standards would be better upheld in the Triads than anywhere else. Someone following a similar path as we ventured, which comprises a fair amount of our current members; would not have the same opportunity today due to an OOC member cap. The best part is the only reason I can see as to why it has been implemented is because FM felt like it. At the end of the day, we will continue to adapt to any poorly implemented rules /ooc limits / limiting script that is put in our way. It would just be stupid to not try to fight it, especially considering this post has well over 3500 views with the overwhelming majority of comments supporting the core arguments.
  5. The fact of the matter is that Rooks had multiple paths they could have gone down, and the reasons they no longer exist are due to your leadership choices. The council has undergone drastic changes over the last two years, and gangs that were once the top of the totem pole are now gone. Smaller gangs always have and will continue to have a chance against "the council" in whatever form it is in at the time, they only need to be smart in order to do so.
  6. I really fail to see what the newly imposed member cap is set to improve. The only people directly affected by this change are the three longstanding criminal factions that have maintained high RP standards throughout their natural IC growth and progression. Not to mention the fact that both Traids and Zetas each have much more stringent IC/OOC requirements for a potential member to meet than each Legal faction. This change is only one of many which have detrimentally impacted criminal RP over the last couple of months, and if this status quo is continued you'll only see more people leave, as most long standing members will be too demotivated to play. Honestly, the most frustrating part of this all is a consistent lack of requests (and commonly ignored when requested) for input from people who have the most knowledge about what impact a change would have.
  7. +1There should not be a competition for members of an official faction to order 21 smg bullets.
  8. Huge +1, all adding the timers has done is reduce the amount of rp on the server - is that really the stance we want to take?
  9. ^ exactly the system I believe should be in place.
  10. I think the title is pretty self-explanatory, but to further my argument a more detailed explanation will be laid out below. Currently, each and every person's phone number is displayed on the MDC as soon as a players name or ID is pulled up, with 0 investigative RP to substantiate having the phone number registered. This could not be further from reality, and allows PD a massive unfair advantage for no reason. I strongly believe that there should be a place for phone numbers in the MDC, but only after it is verified through IC means that a number is a persons - and players should be allowed to change that number, requiring PD to find it again - as it would work in the real world.
  11. this comment is why feelschromosome shouldnt have been removed from reactions
  12. biggest -1 of my life. Add an /ame though please
  13. 14. Good thing this guy made staff amiright
  15. I think this is moreso an issue with the current OOC corruption rules with PD. Currently faction management has it set so that if you see a crime, you must do something. This is extremely detached from reality - and causes events to happen like the videos above. However, if an officer dies, they should be on desk duty for the duration of their NLR. +1
  16. Love the thread, keep up the good work!
  17. Makes sense then, but what RP do you see coming of this from your side? I can’t think of a time in PD I would have found this useful personally.
  18. -1 The MDC is a police computer logged into the police database through a secure connection found only in cruisers and police precincts. I also see no RP value that could come as a result this suggestion.
  19. Currently, we have the ability to stack items such as food, ammo, attachments etc. We should also be able to stack meat, gps’s, and maps.
