I'm really enjoying reading the posts. Was curious to see how the two Russian Mobs would interact with each other. Keep up the great work Dimitri

Really going to miss interacting with you guys. Even though relations deteriorated over time ICly, I've got mad respect for you guys OOC. You helped in ways you could, and always tried to be positive at meetings, no matter how bad things got. Sad to see you disband for this, but I wish you luck in all of your future endeavors.

  5. Una Vendetta personale e un accordo Fatto | A personal vendetta and a deal made It was date night for the Capo Famiglia and Madrina, and he was prepared for the evening with his female companion. Jace had recently purchased a new apartment, and he wanted everything perfect. Roses lined up on the floor, leaving a trail upstairs into the bathroom. This trail led to a basket, which Leah very quickly found out held an assortment of bath bombs (not the kind of bomb that Irish use don't worry), salts, candles, and things of that nature. Jace wasn’t the romantic type, but when he needed to be, he could be. The male had spent days planning this, ducking off from running the Mafia and working at Weazel, to make this evening perfect. Everything was perfect when Leah had come in the door and seen everything, they both knew the evening would be absolutely magical. Everything was going tremendously, and they had just lit the candle for a nice romantic evening, when Jace received a call. Leah knew nobody normally called Jace, so she insisted he pick up the phone. “Hello?” “Jace, I need you to do something for me.” “[Redacted] you know these things aren’t free.” “I know. Name a price, I need you to get me a list of everyone associated with [Redacted]” “A task like that isn’t too difficult, $10,000.” “I’ll double it. See you soon.” With that, Jace ended the phone call and smirked to Leah. She smiled back, knowing there was something to come very soon. That could wait until tomorrow, because all that mattered to Jace in this moment was his Madrina. The next day things went as one would expect. Jace began to make the proper arrangements to have things watched over. Leah was more than capable of handling things for the day, so Jace would be able to complete this contract that had fallen into his lap so easily. He set to work, calling people, and watching people work. Before the week ended, Jace had all the information he needed. A quick phone call was made once more. “Hello [Redacted] I have the information.” “I’ll be at Casino in 5 minutes.” That was the end of the conversation. Unfortunately for [Redacted] he had to wait a bit longer than 5 minutes before a Prospettiva’s life was threatened and that had to be handled. Family before anything else. He texted the male, apologizing for the delay but he was on the way now. They saw each other at the entrance to the Casino, and drove back towards the derby area. Jace, Leah, and [Redacted] All stepped out of their vehicles and Jace removed his bandana. Jace reaches into his jacket pocket with his left hand and pulls out a piece of paper, extending it to the male. The male takes the paper and folds it up, he tucks it away into his own pocket. “Everyone associated with the group is on that paper. Some of the people include [Redacted] [Redacted] and [Redacted].” “Good, is your bank set up to accept wire transfers?” Jace nodded, and the next thing he knew, the money was in his account. “We’ll be in touch.” Jace nodded to the male and got back into his vehicle, and waited for 10 minutes after the male left. It’s best they’re not seen leaving together. Little did Jace and Leah know however, was that the family was still watching.. And they were always watching.
  6. So recently there was a script change that was introduced that has calls automatically be removed if the caller moves away from the call location. I have a few issues with this change in general. 1. It isn't realistic to a sense. If someone makes a phone call saying they are injured, a medic is dispatched out to them. In real life, the only way you have to know if the medic is no longer required is if another 911 call is placed saying nevermind, but I only know a few isolated instances where that occurred and the medic stopped responding. If the medic does arrive and there is no patient on scene in real life, or the patient is deceased. 9/10 times PD will be notified, but that is not something we do in game either. 2. If PD are slow, it will allow them to be able to find criminals easier through more indirect script. Personally I know if I get injured and I am wanted, I won't call MD for myself but have a friend do it. If a friend is injured and I am wanted, I may call them to potentially get a faster response. Sometimes PD look at the call list on the MDC and see that a wanted criminal made a PD call, so they go to the call and arrest the wanted criminal. This makes it even easier to do that((Indrectly through script support)) since the caller can't leave the immediate area without the call being dropped. Why is this change implemented only for MD and not PD as well? If someone is robbed, and they call PD, if they move too far away from their call area, then the call should be dropped as well, no? 3. The change says it is closed if they move too far away. While I do like the idea of this, I feel the call should only be closed once the person who made the call is treated at MD. So for example: I get injured, I call MD but no MD respond. My friend picks me up and takes me to hospital. Once my friend does /dropbody, it ends the call saying the patient got medical treatment. This allows it to be more realistic, because then the hospital could let dispatch know that the person who made a 911 call got to a hospital and is currently getting medical treatment, no need to continue dispatching of an EMT to the scene.

    Language System

+1/-1 for a few different reasons. I see a bunch of people saying it would only work with text, and not VOIP. On the server, if you are going to speak another language, then you have to type it [RUS] or whatever language, then the words. The rules are pretty clear in regards to that. I like the concept and the idea of the script support for letting it say someone is speaking another language, but the thing I disagree with is making it be only learned through a university. I know some factions, or even groups of friends, teach each other languages. For example, as a faction leader of an Italian mafia, I try to actually teach my members the language. Some members I don't get on at the same time because time zones, work schedules, or whatever else, I RP buying them a Rosetta Stone, and they RP taking the time to sit down and study it over the course of several weeks ((Since OOC weeks are several months ICly)) to become capable of having conversations. TLDR, I like the idea but don't limit it to just the university if it's something that is introduced. It would increase RP in one area by providing script support, but decrease it in other areas as well.

  9. I get where you're both coming from. IAmTurtle, isn't that how it is in real life. People are able to drive cars for for hours straight without having to refuel them. I think the change is good ultimately, and I have no complaints over gas tanks being shrunk or enlarged to fit certain vehicles. I also think a big change should be gas prices, but I've never personally owned a gas station so I'm not sure what the prices are right now. They used to be $5 to import per liter, but they may have increased. I also understand that unless the gas prices were increased scriptly to be ordered, then it's an IC issue. So overall I think +/-1 for this post, just because I don't feel like it's been around long enough to have a solid opinion on. If you drive a BF400 and run from cops, expect to have to refuel before them for obvious reasons.

  11. Date and time (provide timezone): November 30, 2020. 5:05PM UTC Character name: Jace Bianchi Issue/bug you are reporting: When you equip a heavy weapon, sometimes it won't show as being on your back, either to yourself or to other people. Expected behavior: Not quite sure what causes it. I know when I pull a heavy from a bag, then put it on, sometimes it doesn't show for me, but it does for other people. In this case. I'm not sure what causes it to not be synced for us when PD put on a heavy. I did some testing and it doesn't seem that equipping it from /pw when in a cruiser causes it, but I may be wrong. I'll provide further information the more I am able to actually test and check it. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: https://streamable.com/ertbta In the video, it is seen that both officers appear to have no heavy weapons, but when I got out to hold them up, both of them pulled out SMGs. I'm not quite sure why I wasn't able to see the SMG, and am not sure if staff are aware that this could potentially be a problem. Vehicle license plate number*:
  12. Look. Allimsayin is that server wants to be realistic. I don't think it's realistic to get into a shootout with PD, then upon winning said shootout. GO up to loot the cop and be all "Oh his gun that he was just shooting me with just magically vanished within the 2 seconds it took me to get to his corpse."
  13. Had a good run. I enjoyed the RP interactions I had with everyone. Whether it was shooting people, working out deals, or even just vibing out. R.I.P. the homies.
  14. You currently can make money off stamps. Stamps serve 3 purposes in DOC to my understanding. 1. Use them to lower your time in prison, I personally think this one is useless because 1000 stamps reduces like 10 seconds, or something like that. 2. Stock up on food and water, yes water and food can be cheaper in prison depending, and you're not doing anything else anyways. I know I used to stock up on water whenever I could in DOC. 3. It converts into actual money once you get out. If you have 1000 stamps, you get $1000. Granted it is all pocket money, but you still do have it.
  15. Pt 2: The meeting with Lost MC and a deal neither side could refuse. The meeting went better than expected with Lost MC, and it was time to move onto the next phase. Jace was spending time discussing future endeavors with Leah Lennox and Negan Luciano when he received a phone call. The familiar voice of Ralph came through the line. "Jace, docks. 15 minutes." He knew that his order was arriving, and he looked at the Madrina and one of his Soldatos before telling them to get in their vehicles and follow him. He called over radio to turn phones off, as this was definitely not something that Jace wanted Los Santos' finest to get wind of. They arrived ahead of schedule at the docks and waited. That's when the big cargo ship pulled in, and he knew what had arrived. The shipment arrived at last, and Jace looked to Leah and Negan before pulling out. First thing he needed to do was store the vehicle and make some phone calls. After talking to several people, he called Stephen who put him in touch with Eoghan Macc, a respected member of Daichead Gadai, and a very good mechanic. Stephen told Jace that Eoghan could do anything to any car he could dream of. His number was passed, and a few hours later, Jace received a text. After formalities were out of the way, Eoghan told Jace to meet him at an old mechanic shop underneath the bridge. There he'd find a green Komoda waiting for him. Everyone got out of their vehicles, and introductions were made. Jace told Eoghan exactly what he needed done to the car. Eoghan nodded his head, but he knew it would be a lot of work to do. The vehicles were pulled into the garage, and out of sight of any of the police who might have been lurking in the area. So they got to work, and Jace made sure everything went without any problems. He had big plans for this vehicle, and he needed big modifications. Stephen assured Jace that Eoghan was the man for the job, and we were all about to find out. Jace closed the door to the garage, and they got to work. The vehicle was finally finished, and Jace was thrilled with what he saw. He went into the back of his Surano, and grabbed a bag of cash out of the back of it. He handed the duffle bag to Eoghan and thanked him for his services. Eoghan seemed shocked at this action. "If you take care of the mafia, the mafia takes care of you." Is what Jace had told him, and then assured him we'd be in touch with more work for him soon. Everyone got in their vehicles and parted ways. The family took their small convoy of vehicles and met at one of Jace's secluded houses. There he pulled the Rumpo into the garage and closed the door, knowing he'd need it within the next few months. ((The following images are the RP that was done to modify the Rumpo. I decided to put it at the end because it is quite lengthy, but it is definitely a good read!))
  16. I agree and disagree. When I was still a Triad, I robbed people for very good reasons in public areas and nothing has come out of it. On the other hand, I've also robbed people for very good IC reasoning, and got a punishment for public robbery, despite me giving all of the reasoning that led up to the robbery. Which was me taking the Triad mask he was wearing, and his gun so he wouldn't shoot me as soon as I walked away. I do agree that the rule wasn't intended to make everything an NCZ, and it was intended to help CIV RP, which it has 100%. I also think it's made people who are obvious criminals utilize it because they know they won't get robbed in certain areas now. I think what Carlos means is that he wants it altered so it still protects CIVs, but it doesn't protect criminals as much. Such as reducing it to you still can't rob people at areas without a good reason, but it's easier to rob known criminals and gang members.
  17. I agree with this post to an extent. I have always been told that we get the weazel ads RPly through our phone. I feel like if we turn our phone off, we shouldn't received the ads anymore until we turn it back on.
  18. The family had been operating for several weeks at this point, and buying weapons and drug tables off Lost MC, when Jace and Leah received a text from someone named Noa Mercer. Noa was a higher up member of Lost MC, and wanted to meet with them in regards to a potential contract that they had for the organization. Naturally Jace and Leah were interested and agreed to meet with Noa and Jax Thorpe at the alien worship area up in Sandy Shores. Jace and Leah rolled up in their Surano, and Jace instantly regretted it because he knew he'd have to clean the hell out of the car later, but once they got out of the cool A/C of the vehicle, they knew this meeting would be long and hot because the sun was beating down on the two, and they weren't wearing the appropriate suit for the environment. They had officially met the two people in Lost that were wanting the meeting, and names were changed and hands were shook. They had made friendly with each other, exchanging jokes and stories of interactions they'd had with the other group. Then after a bit of this, they began to discuss the actual reason for the meeting. Noa had lowered her voice, and then began to talk about how they could start a business of sorts. The basics would be that they meet the cartel at a drop off location, and act as a middleman to meet the person buying the merchandise. A few more members of Lost MC had come to the meeting, to meet the Organization. Jace and Leah shook hands as they talked to the members and met more of Lost. As the members kept coming, Jace and Leah knew they had to go soon because one of their members needed help with something in regards to a property. They decided it was a good idea, but would have to discuss it further, and numbers were exchanged. Jace knew he would need something bigger than what they currently had in the city.. Therefore, Jace had to make a special order which would arrive within a few days. [To Be Continued...]
  19. I agree and disagree. I know there was a lot of good time to be had at the labs, but there were also a lot of negatives. Like what AlexAlex said, people would bait cops there all the time, or call cops to the labs. There were occasions where PD or SD would camp the lab even though they weren't supposed to know it. (I know sometimes they had RP knowledge, but a lot of times they didn't) A lot of good interactions occurred at drug labs, but a hell of a lot more shootouts occurred from my recollection. No matter who you were, you knew there was the potential for a shootout at this lab, whether it be the new players who just had other accounts, it be people in gangs, or just some random RPers. I feel like this, while yes reducing activity of criminals at these locations, it makes crim rp more crim like. It's harder to find people who aren't open about what they do, things like that. You still have the potential for RP at these locations, I know some friends of mine held down one lab for several hours with four of them, and they were just picking plants. The change causes crims to actually have to look for other ways to RP, which is what we should all be here to do is RP, personally I've had a lot more RP situations outside of labs than inside of them. Even interacting with people in labs before the update, it was usually just fucking around while we wait on someone to come by and get into a shootout with them. So I say +1 to making them a bit more accessible and something to change, I just don't exactly know what. But my -1 is to not revert them back to how they were, because even then why would anyone buy the resources from humane or go through effort of mining them when you can get them for free at the labs. This has introduced more RP, such as interacting with civilians to mine things like sodium and you'll pay them, etc etc, and if you revert the labs it could potentially kill that. You just have to be creative.
  20. Huge +1 I had kind of explained why I agreed under CallumMontie's suggestion in regards to this.
  21. I think ruleplaying is a huge issue still. I was sitting at LSC a few days ago, and a gang was chasing one member of a rival gang. This member of the rival gang comes to LSC and parks up then seems to go AFK. (Not sure if he actually did or not) The member of this gang only went to the location because he knows it would have been against the robbery rules to get robbed at LSC, whereas before the rule was implemented, people would never run to LSC for protection. (Unless they were goin to shoot at LSC) There are several instances where people try to rob someone and are immediately met with "You can't rob me here it's too public." I haven't done a lot of legal RP since the rule was introduced, but I see it a lot on the crim/civ side.
  22. I like the idea of the rule, and the rule change. Currently everyone involved is required to forget the negative events that led up to one person's death. So for example. If Jay Gamble robbed Bruce Wong, Bruce Wong retaliates my killing Jay right? The current rules state that both parties have to forget that Bruce was robbed by Jay. Which reduces the chance for future conflict. While i understand the intention behind the rule, and agree with the intention to reduce conflict going on for months over one small thing. (cough cough Kage Enfer and his Scorcher in front of Zeta store) This kills the potential for future conflict. I feel if Jay Gamble and the Zetas start robbing Triads consistently, and one day the Triads lead a Zeta into an ambush and kill all the Zetas. It shouldn't immediately end the fact that the Zetas were robbing the Triads. I feel there is a difference between a one time situation, and a string of them occurring. +1 from me.
  23. It had been approximately two weeks since Jace picked up his first round of Prospettivas. Christopher Vanhyse, Joey Scadaducci, Sam TyDavis, and Negan Wesker. Their judgement day was among us, and it was time for them to be graded on how well they had performed the tasks based on the knowledge they gained from the classes they received. Earlier in the week, six prospettivas were informed of the meeting, including Robin and Harry Ace. Unfortunately Robin had been pinched by the cops when he was trying to make a quick buck by stealing cars, and he got two years in prison. His brother had to fly out of the city unexpectedly to lay low, so he was unable to attend the meeting either. All was well though, the other four were able to make it and they did. At precisely 4PM, Jace, George, and Leah approached HQ to see two vehicles. They had minimized cars as instructed, they were learning and becoming better every day. "Follow me." Was the only word passed on radio, and Leah drove off, not waiting to see if the Prospettivas would keep up or not. Eventually they had arrived at a house, and none of the individuals were truly prepared for the events to come of the day. First order of business was to let the Prospettivas get settled downstairs while the command team prepared for the induction ceremony. He asked Leah and George to follow him upstairs, and for the rest of the Prospettivas to wait downstairs and chat amongst themselves. They had no idea what they were doing at this house, and were potentially just as scared as they were nervous for what was to come of their position in the organization. The two people Jace trusted most in the city followed him down the stairs, where they moved to talk to the Prospettivas. He asked them how they felt they did in regard to their tasks. All of their answers were hopeful. So he decided to expose one secret of the reason behind the tasks, and that was teamwork. He explained that the family helps each other no matter what, and he was proud of what he heard over the radio when he left them to their own devices. Each member smiled, happy that they had made the Capo Famiglia happy in their actions. He had faith this small group would bring his organization far. There was one thing to take care of. "Negan, come upstairs with Leah and I." Jace's voice was neutral as he walked up the stairs. His movements were slow and calculated, intended to throw Negan off his game. Jace knew Negan was easily angered, but he didn't care. When upstairs they asked him to sit on the bed, and Leah was asked to get the BLS bag. They had a conversation, and Jace got to the point, did he say that a gun was Leah's? A certain officer had told Leah that when she got arrested, her passenger had said the gun in the car belonged to her, despite no fingerprints being found on the weapon. Even if he didn't do it, the organization had no room for traitors, and Negan learned very quickly what loyalty was, especially when it was carved into his skin in Italian. Leah and Jace left Negan to clean himself up as they went back downstairs. Upon his return, Jace led everyone outside for the official initiation into the family. That was the end of it. Jace let them all get cleaned up, and everyone shared hugs and handshakes, welcoming the four newest members of the organization. They loaded up into their vehicles and went to the clothing store, Jace had a personal tailor and he got them all fitted for suits. Needless to say some laughs were had as each male tried on different things to suit their taste, while maintaining the professional style that is demanded of each family member. Leah explained when and where to wear their outfits, and what is expected now that they are all completely inducted. To betray the family meant death, and that was engrained into each of their heads, despite the laughs. Once the laughs were done, they went to get their vehicles sprayed, and were once again given another lesson in regards to when to drive the vehicles with the family color. Granted this is not taken as serious, but it does risk being more known by the wrong people, and was advised against. The family was taken back to the parking lot of their HQ, and all posed in their new outfits, proudly wearing them and glad to show them off for the camera.
  24. It had been quite some time since Jace had gone home to Italy. Almost a year since his last visit, and that was for potentially opening weapon deals. Ultimately the deal fell through, but what could you do about it? It was time for a change, Jace had been in Triads for several years at this point in his life, but he felt like he was in a stagnant spot in the gang. It was time for him to go bigger.. So he did what anyone in his position would do, went to Paul to ask for his blessing. A meeting was called about the proposition, and the vast majority of members partaking agreed. It would be good to start something proper in Los Santos, with the official blessing of Paul Esposito. So that was that.. Jace had the blessing.. Now he just needed to enact the plan. Before leaving Italy, he met with his cousin George Rossetti, and gave him the same talk that he had with Paul. George was onboard with the idea, and thrilled to finally be able to move to America legally. Leah was informed, and plans were put into motion in San Andreas. Everyone who mattered knew who Jace was.. So Jace immediately started getting in touch with people after he landed, informing them of his endeavors. He spoke with a few select members of Triads, and they graciously opened their arms for the male to return if he so wished. Jace spoke with them about his plans, and they wished him the best of luck in his endeavors. Next he met with the Irish, and the Aztecas, telling them of his plans and the same kind words were spoken to him. He liked this very much, to be not only known but also liked in the city. Shortly after meeting with them, Jace had a bit of an issue with a gang known as Skulls. He took one of their members and the leader was none too happy. He enlisted the help of Ricky, and other members of Gangster Disciples assisted in setting up a possible ambush for members of the Skulls. They were very quickly disposed of, and Jace met with Ricky and Oti to give a quick rundown of what La Nostra Famiglia was, and what we want to accomplish. Ricky agreed it would be good for the city to have a different kind of criminal activity. So Jace continued operating, he met with several individuals that were looking to be apart of something bigger than them.. They were looking for a family. They were screened by the higherups, and allowed a chance to be Prospettivas within the organization. The members were thrilled and eager to prove themselves. Jace and Leah informed the group of men what they would be tasked with doing, and what they would be learning while they were going through this first phase, and they were hopeful for the future.. We all were. Jace came on radio one day and got a full check of everyone in town. He gave them a location and told everyone to meet up there for their first class. Little did Jace know however, that they were being watched. Paul had dispatched associates to Los Santos for one purpose. This purpose was to observe Jace and watch how well he was building the mafia. He wanted to see how well Jace would be able to handle this position of power, and Jace had no idea, and likely never would. The session went on without any issues, and the members learned the basics of how to properly picklock a vehicle. They had no idea of the tasks required of them within the next week of their training, but they soon would understand just what was demanded of them.
