  1. Paul Esposito was a man of his word, so when he told his father that he was going to be the boss one day, he meant it. Time passed and Paul found himself garnering the trust and respect of the men throughout Italy, and finally put his foot down to take over the reigns of the mafia from his ailing father [Redacted]. With many goals in mind to expand and nurture the family legacy, he kept the ultimate goal in mind always. The ultimate goal? Respect, but not just for him or for his blood, but for any who swore the oath to uphold the name of the family. Respect was not something requested, it was demanded. Under Paul's leadership the mafia was able to thrive. There was power, money, gratitude, respect, and the most important of all... family. Internal jobs were conducted with minimal loss, and each completion added to the circle of influence. Connections were quickly established with external organizations and the extended family was able to grow once worth was proven. What more was there for the mafia that had everything in Italy? Perhaps it was time to set it's sights elsewhere.. Informants were slowly scattered throughout the country in hopes of finding new locations. When that failed to yield results, they expanded throughout Europe, starting with France. France did not yield amazing results so the Mafia continued through to Germany, Norway, and even Spain. There would always be another country and another city to send associates to, and no place was out of reach for the family. Jace Tribbiani believed this, and so much more so he set his sights even further. Considering the extremely successful cover operation that his parent's restaurant allowed, along with praise from his current mafia work, he knew a venture like this would make the family proud and so he aimed far across the ocean. San Andreas Arriving in San Andreas and relocation to Los Santos introduced Jace to The Marcello family, a group he found himself falling in line with while operating under Winston Marcello. Winston was once a very influential man in the city... until he suddenly wasn't, and following his disappearance to Italy, and no word from Paul when information was requested, the members of the family found themselves lying low. Jace decided he needed to part ways and reevaluate. Witnessing failed leadership and abandonment, doubt set in and it was decided to abandon his plan... For now. Thus Jace Tribbiani died and Jace Bianchi was born in an attempt to start anew and cut prior ties in the city. The years that followed took Jace from working at the hospital, where he learned all he could about the medical field and heading up the Fire Rescue Division; to joining an organization under the successful leadership of Bruce Wong. It was very different from everything he knew, but there was a sense of comfort, promise, and a level of comradery that made it feel very similarly to home. Years after parting with the Mafia, Jace received a call from Paul Esposito, and returned home to Italy with haste. During his time back home, his confidence was restored and the true importance of family, blood or not, resurfaced and solidified. Returning to Los Santos, Jace knew what needed to be done. For years he functioned under others. Some leadership impeccable and lessons priceless, while others were less than mediocre - but it was time for something else. Jace wanted something he could call his own and thus upon his return he brought his cousin, George Rossetti. Jace was tired of being in the shadow of others, or an off branch of something larger, but instead wanted something he could call his own. Work in the shadows like those who molded him trained to, he reached out to a few he could trust, including a long time friend Leah Lennox, and made an offer she couldn't resist. "Join me, this will be our family, La Nostra Famiglia." Capo Famiglia The leader of the organization and the person who makes all final decisions. He is respected by all lower ranks and listened to without objection. Madrina The non-traditional second in command being the highest female in the organization. The Madrina is one of the founders of the organization and trusted to assist the Capo Famiglia in all affairs and the running of day to day operations both within Command as well as lower ranks. When the Capo Famiglia in unavailable, the Madrina and Capo Bastone work together to keep the organization functioning. Capo Bastone The traditional second in command and the joint decision maker (alongside the Madrina) when the Capo Famiglia is unavailable to act. They report directly to the Capo Famiglia and are expected to fulfill all orders to the satisfaction of their superior. Caporegime A member of the Command team who is responsible for an individual sector of the organization's activity. All lower ranks are organized and established under a Caporegime who then reports to the Capo Bastone. Tenente The highest non Command rank within the organization. Tenente's report to the Caporegime and is given the duty of meeting expectations and tasks provided by the Caporegime by organizing lower ranks within their sector. They also report to the Caporegime regarding the status and recommendation of all Prospettivas. Caporale Members of the organization who have proven a higher level of trust and dependability in all areas required of them. Soldato The first official rank following successful passage of a trial phase. These members have proven their loyalty to the family and have established themselves as trustworthy and capable men and women. They are the first ones in line and highly depended on for day to day tasks. Prospettiva The recruit/prospect rank within the organization. These members are not officially recognized members and are instead under a trial period where they have to prove their worth and dependability. Burnout Nation

Really enjoying reading this faction thread. It’s nice to see an actual car group on the server that is doing their best to stay on the legal side of things. looking forward to interacting ICly with you guys, and loving the thread.
  3. Big -1 for right now. I understand the reasoning for it, but this would also make it so you can't see if you got a reckless operation charge. I know there have been times where I've been zooming and I hit a speed camera and have thought "Fuck was I going 150?" so I just go to PD to check, and if I was I turn myself in. If you take this away, without implementing some other way to check these charges. Granted I understand this is geared towards more violent crimes, but I still feel there should be some other form to check it without having to directly interact with PD. I can't speak for everyone, but I know whenever I'm pulled over, if I think I'm wanted I'll do do a /melow of checking the active warrant list on the LSPD website, then /payfine to see what my charges are, if I have any. I'm not too sure why you would think it's metagaming, if we can see our parking tickets and that isn't considered metagaming, we should be able to see our other charges and it not be called metagaming, when it is something that's allowed by the script. Much like how PD does with people who have unlicensed weapons on their back "If we see it scriptly, we see it ICly." Same applies right now for charges I think. If you can think of another way for criminals to check their charges, then it'd be a huge +1, but all I see if a problem without a potential solution.
  4. Honestly if you just tryna get shot up, HML I gotcha. I'm comin back from my business trip soon and you'd be a good practice target.
  5. Lovin the Thread. I love the RP with you guys when I get the chance to. Excited to come back and have some more quality RP, you've come a long way and I hope you go even further
  6. +1
  7. I think it'd be fine for us to RP having to pay the ticket, but half the time I go up to a cop. I get a /do window is up, cannot hear. Then the cop drives away. I also wouldn't go to an officer in real life to pay a ticket, because they can't take money in real life, they can only give tickets. Realistically the /payfine should be at the courthouse, and we should have the option on our phone to pay as well. I get we want RP, but we also want realism, which is what the server is very geared towards from my past experience.
  8. -1 As it has already been mentioned, it is definitely a lot harder to make money on a crim. Right now the biggest source of income for common crims is drug labs, and those are risky because you have the potential to be robbed, or for pd/sd to somehow come and raid the place. I got on one time and every drug lab had been raided and destroyed, meaning no good income for crims for 6 hours. When I got fired from MD, i had money saved up, but I immediately noticed the blatant change in money I was making, and took awhile to save up to buy a drag. I think insread of making it an OOC issue with the drags, PD should take the information they know and adopt their training around it. Change how you train, and I get this has been said, but add spike strips, make more people XRay certified. Use the tools that you have and adapt your training to fit the changing times. Most people started using drags when the big server update came out and you could go into debt and spend 5+ hours in jail. So look at it from a crim standpoint, you know PD aren't changing their tactics and training, you dont want to lose all the shit you might have on you, which if youre a standard criminal with a heavy, it's probably about 30k street price right now (using average) then you pay a fine and go to jail for however long. Why risk that, when knowing pd use old tactics, you can just run and outmaneuver them in the city on a bike that is good at that.
