  2. Gold Diggers: It’s not all it’s cut out to be There seems to be a good handful of lucrative jobs in Los Santos. Some come with air conditioning, fancy vehicles, and some with life-saving opportunities. Almost all these jobs come with comfortable and professional clothing to brand the empire you choose. But there is one job out there that has no HR department; therefore, uniforms and safety are non-existent. That job is Mining. On a recent visit to the Los Santos mines, conditions were deplorable and inhumane on many levels. Upon arrival, you are met with a strong smell of methane gas as the water splashes under your work boots. The deeper you descend into the mines, the harder it is to catch a breath. You walk past other miners, covered in silt and wet to the bone. They are not issued any regulators, and they work their butt off in zero light. If the conditions of work aren't bad enough, they are in constant fear of being robbed of their hard-earned ores, or the vehicles that they have parked outside waiting on them. Ores in Los Santos mines can catch a pretty penny if you have the trunk space to carry them back to the foundry. With that value comes risk, and every miner is thinking of that fear until they deliver the goods and receive their paycheck, and they must carry the cash they just received to the bank to deposit it. If you are thinking about becoming a miner, please be aware of your surroundings, keep your doors locked, and I recommend going with a friend. Treat the mines like you would an alley because it's not much safer than a dark alley when you descend into the moist tunnels. Written by DJ Getti, Intern at Weazel News
  3. What happened to our Drags? A recent decision of our government was to remove the vehicle dealerships ability to import the motorbike Hakuchou Drag. The Drag is a very popular bike for all citizens, criminals and civilians alike. Being able to reach very high top speeds and with fantastic acceleration, it makes for an excellent getaway vehicle for criminals being chased by the Police. Not only that, but it has a very appealing appearance and has won multiple awards at bike shows for its good looks. Many people in the community and I believe that the performance to be the reason why they're now no longer available to import for the dealerships. Is this fair play by our government? We ask ourselves. Should the entire city suffer because the Police force is not adequately trained to chase bikes? From what I have been told they have a few officers that are allowed to drive the same Hakuchou Drags, but still we find ourselves in this situation. It's the same with the Sheriff's Department; they also have a few people able to drive the Drags. Add on to that they have a couple of high-speed units and the x-ray in the sky, you feel like the odds should be tipped more into the Police Departments basket. This is a comment from a concerned citizen. 'The government just wants to keep us down. Taking away high-speed bikes is just the first step in the suppression of "crime" and "evasion". First, they take away our Comets, now they take our Drag's, what's next? If the government has it their way the only thing people convicted of previous felonies will be able to drive is Faggio's. What's to happen next? Will any other of our loved vehicles be removed? Are we looking at new rides being able to be purchased in the near future? We don't know, but I'm not feeling optimistic about where this path might lead us.' Written by David Pong – Intern at Weazel News
  4. The Status of Los Santos In recent weeks there has been a massive change in the overall dynamic of the city and its people. Those who once were safe and ran with the high and mighty are now looking down the barrel of a gun. Even people who are just flying into the city looking for a new beginning are finding themselves in the middle of something they don't want to be a part of. If by now you don't know what I am referring to then let me enlighten you. I am indeed talking about the current gang situation in Los Santos. Many new gangs have appeared and stayed for mere days, sometimes, lasting a week. But just like those who were once high and mighty they have fallen. Anyone who has been in the city for longer than a month knows its ran by the Triads and Zetas. Its no wonder either, they have the numbers, both financially and in manpower. However, there seems to be a power struggle occurring in the city between them and The Wanted. Up until recently, The Wanted were just a small car club to anyone who asked, but, that is no longer the case. They have been seen around the city with AKs, shotguns, and other guns of that caliber. It begins to raise the question of, were they ever JUST a car club or were they always more. The only way to know is to speak to them, which I have had trouble doing. They are either busy or not-existent. With these three gangs now fighting, word has spread to other gangs of this news and this "power struggle". It is rumoured that other gangs will be joining the fight and possibly trying to take down Zetas and Triads. For now, though, these are rumours. Hopefully one day, someone will step forward and speak up so the people of Los Santos can know what to watch for. Another gang which seems to be having its own issues is the Rooks. I have recently spoken to one of their past members and was informed they are now involved in a war of their own. A war which they will most likely lose based on what has been said. They are losing members and from what I have been told, losing battles. They are one of the more significant gangs but not as stable financially and manpower wise as Zetas and Triads, but, one can only wonder how long they will survive a losing battle. Due to how hard it is to contact these people, I have not been able to reach them for a comment. So currently all of this is based on one person coming forward and speaking up. The city currently is in a delicate state based on the above info. Police presence has been at an all-time high from what I have seen. The past few times I have flown into the city, the public parking lot has been flooded with police. Detectives have been seen wearing vests way more than they used to. It begins to make me wonder if the police are being over-protective or if they are scared of what's to come. The police have had quite the history with the Zetas. Upon my first time flying into the city, I witnessed a vast shootout between police and Zetas. I have also heard of multiple shootouts since then, where the cops have lost. It Begins to make me wonder if the police force just doesn't have the manpower to stop a complete government overthrow at this point. Zetas and Triads already control the city as far as crime goes. How long, in reality, would they wait before taking over the city entirely? They have the financial means, and they have the manpower. Hopefully, soon, I can get more insight into the status of these gangs and what their future goals are. For now, this is the only insight I can offer. If you're new to Los Santos and looking for a fresh start, well then stay clear of the crime life unless you plan to be in a war. If you're trying to stay legit and out of trouble, the role of being a cop, may not be the choice for you. Written by Ezekial Diablo – Writer at Weazel News
  5. New to the city? Let’s get you started! So, you’re fresh off the plane, and you can't wait to sink your teeth into the sweet fruits of Los Santos. Just like the tall buildings above us, having a good start in this beautiful city can be quite a daunting task. However, the team at Weazel News are here to help you find what sparks your interest the most! Starting in the city, you may not have a large number of funds to your disposal, but this factor will be considered, so don't worry! One of your options as a newcomer to the city is farming. Farming does not require any tools for you to purchase and does not need any training from others. The main difficulty you may face is transporting to and from the farm, as the farms are a significant distance away from the city. However, you can always grab a taxi if you have no means of getting around. Once your there, spend as much time as you like growing your crops and making a profit! In addition to farming, perhaps you may like to take in the seaside air and spend your hours fishing! Admittedly, this is not very exciting atoll and does require you to purchase a fishing rod and ideally have a car to get around. Consider fishing after spending some time on the farm when you have some funds at your disposal. Thankfully, our seas are full of wildlife, and therefore you can fish anywhere you like on the coast. So, find your spot, dig your heels in the sand and breathe in that refreshing coast air. If you do obtain yourself a car and wish to engage in an exciting activity, hunting could be a valid option for you. There are several hunting spots around the countryside, all indicated by an orange deer icon on your map / GPS. Make sure you get yourself a hunting knife so you can gut the animal and take its valuable meats after killing it. When you have some experience navigating the city and interacting with others, perhaps you may consider working for the government! Written by Nicholas Brown, Editor in Chief at Weazel News.
  6. Respect. “Men are respectable only as they respect.”- Ralph Waldo Emerson. This is the quote that Clutch used to base his life on. He gave respect to people if they earned it. Respect is hard to earn, but it's easy to lose. This is exactly what happened on the 15th of November 2019. It was a calm day, where Clutch was just minding his business. Driving around the city, just looking around and finding something to do. This is when an alarming radio call came in. A radio call that would not only change his day, but also his life from that point. We got word that the Zeta's were at war with the Wanted. At first he couldn't believe it and thought it must have been a big mistake. Hence why he went out to find his friends in the Zetas. He stumbled upon them, showed them respect and asked them if what he heard was true. He wasn't a fan of the answer at all. They told him that that was indeed the case, that the reason for it all was a case of disrespect among the groups. Clutch nodded, thanked them but never understood it. He didn't get robbed there, a bit later didn't get robbed by another Zeta. Why? He thought to himself; 'I guess I earned enough respect for them to not touch me?'. He was terribly wrong in this case. It was only a few hours later when Clutch got caught by a group of triads. He knew them all, and they all knew him. It's weird to say, but they were being nice to him although he was being robbed. He was injured, in pain, confused and suprised by what happened next. They brought him to Central MD. Again Clutch thought; 'Are they letting me go, just because they like me?'. Yet again, he was completely wrong in that. They took him to Paleto, where a group of Zeta's and Triads were waiting for him. He got put into this circle and was watched by many close friends and brothers. You could even hear some people say; 'It's Clutch, I don't like this'. Yet all those words didn't help the situation. He was kidnapped, forced to do things and forced to follow like a dog. Which is quite ironic knowing he's known as a Pug. After being humiliated at Paleto, he was brought to this weird warehouse. This is where only the Triads were. Yet, again he knew everyone in that room and it was weird being on his knee's in front of them. The people he respected were now putting him on his knee's, but why? The answer to that question became clear really quick. Somoene that has tormented his past came back. Somoene he once loved, look at him with a grin on her face. Pure evil to be seen in her eyes, and a grin that would make even the hardest criminals shiver. Ofcourse it had to be her, that was going to torture him in front of his friends. Clutch tried to be strong, but failed a couple of times. He got burned, stabbed and humiliated. Out of nowhere they all had to go, and he was left alone with an old friend. And then it became black! It's the next day and Clutch is walking around the city. Lost, confused and haunted by the memories of what happened the day before. How did this happen to him? The one person that always respected everyone. Why did they have to disrespect him like that. People that used to be friends and family, now turned on him for what? These questions made him so lost, he didn't know an answer nor what to do. He only saw one thing to do. He had to stop and go. His whole live was based on respect, and he apparently lost all respect and he lost respect in others. He had to dip out, before his sadness took a toll and made him leave the city in a bodybag. He went home, looked in the mirror and he saw himself. Holding the mask that he loved so dearly. The mask that everyone knows him off. Most people didn't even know his real name. He was Clutch or the Pug. He took the mask and threw it away. This felt like throwing away a part of his identity. Throwing away the respect he build up, and distancing himself from his old life. There he was, on the beach. Looking at pictures of him and the boys in the Wanted. Seeing Jamaar, Freg, Sam, Mike and all the others that he loved so dearly. Only for them to be covered in tears, due to the decision he had to make for himself. In his eyes, he couldn't be helpfull to them, if he wasn't himself. The war and humilation took his toll and Clutch decided to become somoene else. He just had to. Drinking his whiskey and watching old photos, took him all day. He stood up and began to walk away. Clutch made the decision. He's going off the grid. But that doesn't mean he's gone!
  7. The Doppler, Will it ever screen a movie again? Have you ever seen a movie in Los Santos? If so, when? It couldn't have been recently! Glimmering in the rays of light that bounce off them, the doors of The Doppler cinema remains sealed, like the gunmetal grey vaults that secure the dollars owned by hundreds of civilians. It is a tragedy that those who have never seen "Bitch in the trunk." or "Let's do it all again, again." will never get to sit in those scarlet chairs and nibble on popcorn while watching them on the big screen. It is apparent that the Doppler has a minimal selection of movies to watch, perhaps that could explain the cause of a lack of screenings. 20 Years ago, the Doppler cinema opened its doors for the very first time in a grand, traditional way. Parents with their children were buzzing to watch the new films and could not contain their excitement any longer. They would dash to the popcorn, fill up their tubs, grab their drinks and prepare themselves for the movie to start. Despite only two films ever screening at the Doppler, people would not stop flooding through its doors. So, what happened? Did people get sick and tired of the two films? Perhaps crime in the area put people off. Maybe one day, it will open once more with some different movies to screen. Written by Nicholas Brown, Editor-In-Chief of Weazel News.
  8. Mind over Judgement (If you are a reader with certain sensitivities, you may find this article uncomfortable. Reader discretion advised) If you’ve lived in the city for long enough, then by now you’ve probably either been akin to hearing if not completely immersing yourself in the general public’s language and mannerisms when it comes to day-to-day life in Los Santos. How we speak, how we act, how we walk, perform, and live. Most days your general conversation is filled with laughter, jokes, general comradery. People talk about life and love and where they’ve gone to eat that day and what tomorrow will bring...on the more ‘humane’ side of the spectrum anyway. The more you listen however, the more you’re bound to hear some choice words that wouldn’t exactly fall under the category of ‘pleasant’. Especially (and unfortunately) when it comes to folk who, by the ‘unwritten and predetermined standard’ that the city’s population has deemed as acceptable in societable terms, are considered ‘different’. And in this case? Different, is equated to being ‘dangerous’ in a sense. Ever hear a woman speak with a deeper voice than most others? Ever speak to a person with certain mental ailments? Have you ever happened upon a conversation between different nationalities? Well, if you have, you know that most of the time whoever is involved in those conversations don’t particularly take a ‘friendly’ approach to them. Derogatory vocabulary is often exchanged in these conversations, an aim to generally diminish self esteem or trigger an aggressive, angry response. The reason? Most say it’s ignorance on the aggressor’s part. People either don’t understand the demographic or the reasoning behind why certain people choose to identify in a certain way, or why it is that an individual suffers or struggles from mental illnesses that are completely out of their power to control and that is what constitutes a sort of aggressive tone in conversation. It’s generally derived from the old saying that ‘people fear what they do not understand’, and from that fear do people often choose to go on the verbal (and sometimes even physical) offensive to keep their comfort zone safe and secure. Many others say the reason behind such belittling actions is an attempt at a show of power or control, bordering along the lines of ‘egomania’, believing that two genders or a healthy state of mind is the only way to function or be an acceptable part of society, and trying to exercise such a mentality over them gives them some semblance of control over people. It generally walks near the same thin line as supremacy when it comes to racism, which I know is a bit of a stretch in terms of comparison but, well, all roads lead to Rome in some cases. The myriad of reasons goes on, and on, and on, from trying to look cool in front of their friends to being mean spirited just for the sake of doing it. Regardless of the reason, there’s one thing we all need to keep in mind. Under our skin, through our bodies, only one color beats through our hearts: Red We’re all human beings at the end of the day, we all breathe and think and love and suffer just like everyone else, just like your friends and neighbors and just like me. We’re all in pain and all in love and all just trying to survive in a city rife with injustice and supremacy and corruption. Whether you’ve been paying attention or not, we as a society have been moving through a sort of social reform for nearly a decade now in concerns to some issues, and other battles have been stretching for even longer, since the 1960’s! People are choosing to identify themselves in different ways, mental illness is a topic of conversation that’s been getting more and more attention over the course of recent years, and the way we address each other as individuals and human beings is paramount to maintaining a healthy and stable society. We need to pull together, not further apart. Respect your fellow man, be courteous to your neighbor, because you never know when you’ll need to rely on them to help you in a pinch. There are forces all around us that are conspiring in the dark, people who are out there coming to hurt us and instil fear and misdirection in our hearts. The only way to keep them at bay is with each other, so the next time you think about belittling somebody just because they’re ‘different’ than you, consider how you’d feel if you were in their shoes. We’re all human people. Let’s get to acting like it. Rhea Moraine WEAZEL NEWS
  9. Surviving Businesses, With Doors that Don’t Open! But How? Strolling down the street, you glance over at the beaming sun that smiles back at you. As your eyes slowly gaze back down to look at the concrete floor in front of you, your stomach starts to growl violently. You are Hungry! So, it's time to grab some food, but where does one go? Burgers, hot dogs the city has it all, almost too much choice. Finally, you get your hands on a delicious burger, and you devour it practically instantly. Did you notice? Most of your options to pick up food are general stores! Where are the restaurants? Well, they're all over the place! Like ants on a leaf. But you can't help but recognise that all of them are closed and yet to open. How do these businesses survive without serving customers? Weazel news decided to gather some information; here are some examples of these invisible businesses. First up we have Giovanni's Italian restaurant, which claims to serve pizza sandwiches and salads. This restaurant has existed for over five years now and has not once opened its glass doors! We have attempted to reach out and contact any members of staff that work here; however, not a single person got back to us. If only we could get a taste of that delicious masterfully prepared pizza that they claim to serve! Here are some more examples: The mystery as to how these businesses manage to survive will remain undiscovered. Perhaps money does grow on trees. 10. Fossil Fuels, A Blessing or A Curse? Let’s Crack Out the Answer! Sweating, you briskly run your sweltering hands across your drizzly forehead, and you think to yourself “Why on earth is it so hot today?”. But you don’t pay much heed to the question for long before you realize the gasping tank in your car is begging to be filled with some sweet juicy fuel. So off you go to the closest gas station of sacrifice, that gives the earth no option but to pay the price. Detaching the handle, opening the cap and dispatching that black liquid into the rear of your car, it suddenly strikes you. This is the problem! The fuel is the problem! You realize that by drowning your car in that tincture of terror known as “gas” you work towards the destruction of this decaying planet! The team at Weazel news has decided to address this issue and consider both the benefits and the negatives that fossil fuels provide to the thriving city of Los Santos. We must not forget; Fossil fuels are one of the biggest sources of power we have today and have contributed a huge amount to the growth of the city. How would we drive without it? How would we turn out lights on without it? How would we even turn our engine on without it? The answer? We wouldn’t! However, its now time to highlight the negative impacts it has on our environment. To begin with, average outside temperature has risen by a mighty 5 degrees Celsius! That’s a record breaking, almost catastrophic amount! This indicates that action must be taken to reduce our carbon emissions that the usage of fossil fuels produces. In reaction to this shocking figure, we decided to get the opinion of the general public, to see what they think on the manner. Connor Ryaan was one of the people questioned, and we asked him what he thinks is the problem with our behaviour that works towards promoting carbon emissions. His first response claimed that “There are too many farmers”, and that their “tractors” contribute a huge amount to the use of fossil fuels. To support this judgement, research shows that 30% of fossil fuel use comes from driving tractors. Mister Ryaan was completely correct in his statement! In addition to this, we also asked him what he would be doing to reduce his fossil fuel consumption. He responded swiftly with the answer of “turning off my engine when its not in use”. We think this is a brilliant response and recommend that everyone should do the same. Taking steps in reducing our fossil fuel consumption is key to protecting this planet! 11. Internal Affair? No Kidding! The Los Santos Police Department. “Obey, and Survive.” The law-keepers. The protectors. The fine men and women at the front lines combating injustice and crime wherever it rears its ugly head. Justified in the eyes of the government, and a shining example for every citizen to follow... ...most of the time. No one person can ever be described as ‘perfect’ by any means. No one person can ever dare say that they are not without fault. It’s in our nature as human beings to be flawed, and many say it’s our flaws that define the better part of our character, that within our weaknesses do we derive our drive and our will to find our strengths. The same can be said of the LSPD. As great and as mighty as the police force is, you cannot say they’re not without fault. Sometimes an officer slips up while on patrol, sometimes an officer will go down path A when path B was the more favorable choice. But as with life, mistakes and missteps are a natural part of day-to-day operations. The LSPD knows this, which is why the Internal Affairs (‘I.A.’) exists. The I.A. is a branch within the LSPD that closely monitors, reads over, and solves case-to-case scenarios where officers of the law are reported for misconduct or questionable activity while in the field. Those who are found ‘guilty’ of such misconduct are then disciplined in accordance with their departmental guidelines. ...but does it ‘really’ work the way it’s supposed to? The citizenry, says NO. I asked around the Los Santos Bank for those who had dealt with the I.A. System in the past or knew of others who had done so, and the responses received all pointed to one direction. The Internal Affairs branch of the Los Santos Police Department is corruptible. One concerned citizen gave his statement in the form of “If you allow an organization to police their own with no sort of checks or balances in place, you’re opening up a very broad, vulnerable road to corruption on a scale too large to control.” Another citizen gave a far more grave, concerning report of a Police Officer who had placed a charge on him concerning the carrying of an illegal firearm that he did not have in his possession, and that the charge had been falsified. The only comment the Officer could relay in response was ‘Not sure, submit an I.A. Report’. Many others voiced their agreements and closely detailed stories in a similar fashion, with many commenting on the I.A.’s inability to even function, as it’s been reported that it takes many weeks, if not months, for a report to even be acknowledged by the I.A. Department in the first place. All the while, the citizenry is being heavily fined and imprisoned for actions that many say are falsified. Months and years, taken away from people who believe their rights and freedoms have been viciously violated by the people who have sworn an oath to protect them from such abuse. Even today, at the conclusion of a report shootout at a clothing store just a block away from the city’s own Government Headquarters, one of the LSPD’s High Command members after being asked that if officers were being accused of misconduct, that such offenses would be reported through the I.A. system, he said “Yes”. However...the answer to the next question proved most chilling. The question? “Do you believe that your I.A. System has an appropriate level of follow-through when it comes to giving your officers disciplinary action?” The answer? “It does not.” I believed I had heard wrong at first, and after trying to confirm his statement it appeared that the High Command Unit was trying to avoid the question, and in turn changed his answer after the fact. None of the other officers could comment, saying they were bound and restricted by their media relations department to not say a word. It’s a very concerning thought when one of the LSPD’s finest doesn’t even believe in its own I.A. system to be accurate and efficient. But the more troubling question is, if the I.A. department which is meant to keep the fine men and women of law enforcement in check isn’t working as intended...could there be something more sinister at work behind the closed doors of the Los Santos Police Department? Could it be just the I.A. Department that is at fault? As always, we would like to invite the LSPD’s Media Relations to release their own statement on the topic of these current events and accusations presented by the citizenry. Rhea Moraine Weazel News
  12. New colours during dark days of Los Santos After a long lasting summer, autumn finally arrived in Los Santos. The long nights made people enjoy daytime more, but days were dark as nights - filled with grey clouds and thunderstorms. This lead to more issues of people‘s mood falling down. People started to become angry over petty things and aggression started to spread across the city more and more. Sadness that the darkness brought was seeping in and taking over happy people‘s lifes. People were getting more sad, angrier and thus the crime rate increased highly and the government received unhappy complaints about the city more than ever before. But as they couldn‘t change the weather and the vibe that autumn brings, they had to figure something out that would make the citizens at least a bit happier. So after having few discussions they found a solution for this time. They decided that if the autumn doesn’t bring colour to people‘s lives, people got to do it themselves. So they ordered a big shipment of new various colours and design clothing that people in this town couldn’t get before and it worked out. Stores were filled with people and you could hear the excitement in their voices and see a lot of smiling faces. After that happiness overcame sadness.. at least for a little while. Besides that, if we’re going to start talking about the new winds of fashion arriving to the city of Los Santos, we should probably mention some other fashionable changes. Recently a few famous barbers from all over the world moved into Los Santos and made people wait in endless lines just to get their new haircut. People were more than excited to try out the scissors of the well known hairdressers and see what their magic hands could do. You can see it yourself by visiting a hairdresser right in the city centre. As brand new things were presented to people, resulting in pleasure that was more than enough to cheer people‘s mood and life’s up. The autumn doesn‘t seem so dark and depressing anymore. - Freelance Writer Beansy
  13. I am completely behind @bumbalaga on this matter. Yes, I also understand that seeing bulks all the time gets annoying. Yet, if you are able to disable them that would take away 80% of what Weazel does. If there would be a new way of doing them, I would gladly like to help. I don't support muting the whole ad system tho, since this will discourage people to buy ads massively. I am doing everything in my power to make changes, yet this isn't always easy.
  14. Hey @padpilot, I don't usually react to forum threads but since you adressed 'Faction Leaders' I felt obliged. First and foremost I completely try to motivate and promote better and more realistic RP, since this makes RP more fun for everyone involved. In my eyes this should or could be something decided by the players themselves to do, to increase their own RP. I don't personally feel that this is 'terrible' or 'bad' RP but just the reality of gaming in general. Therefore I don't feel that this should be a responsibility of a Faction Leader. Doesn't really feel right to ask my employees to stop working earlier to go home and log out there. Some of my employees just have a character to work at Weazel, and thats the sole purpose of their character. They just log out and log in at Weazel to get on duty, since they like working for Weazel. If people would love to enrich their RP, this is defenitely something they could do. Yet, I don't feel that this is a responsibility of Faction Leaders. So -1 for me buddy!
  15. Goodbye to the next Welcome It was an early sunday morning when Clutch got a phone call from somebody that was interested in joining the Wanted. He wasn’t alone he said and he asked me to come over, which I did. Upon arrival there was a group of people standing there. They told me they were ex-Marcello and that they wanted to find a group that they could call a family again. After some hesitation and some deliberation I vouched for the group. Taking them with me to show them the ropes of what the Wanted does and what they stand for. Time past by and most of that group started to leave the city, some were forced and some were done with the Los Santos lifestyle. Yet, there was one guy that always stayed around. His name was Hakan Demerici. Hakan was special, he was always there when you needed him. A man with a kind soul and a lot of determination to do what's best. Months had past and he became one of my best friends, someone I could spend hours with, without it becoming boring. This is why his latest call to me came in like a bomb. He told me he was going to leave the city. That this was a requirement for him to fix some personal issues and to become and grow into a stronger man. He asked me to take care of his baby, his beloved orange seven-70. With pain across my chest I assured him that I would take care of it and keep his legacy alive. This is when I brought him to the airport. He walked up the stairs and gave me one final look before performing his last gang sign. We stood there for a second until he entered his plane back to his roots. Hakan might have left the city, but his legacy will live on in the form of others.
  16. I have not seen that forum post! Sorry about that! :)
  17. Some people from MD, PD and Me have been talking about improving communication between active helicopters. Right now we don't really have a system in which we can communicate with eachother about locations or general directions. We would love to have a similar system as the truckers where we can use a command (/cb for truckers) to talk to everyone thats currently piloting a helicopter. Not only will this increase realism much more, it would also be good to have a decent communication system between pilots as a whole. In addition, maybe showing eachother on the GPS is another thing that you could consider. This way we always know when we are about to get close to another aircraft, which will reduce the chance of ever coming into an air collision situation.

  20. Brothers at Arms Sometimes you just know that you found someone that you can call a brother. Someone that would stand with you through thick and thin and someone that will always support you. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. Sometimes different perspectives on a certain case can lead to a scenario in which two former brothers are turned against each other. Some people may call it politics, some people may call it betrayal but there is one thing for certain; Clutch’s world changed that day. It was a calm day and Clutch asked his ‘Brother’ to meet up with him, due to some emotional problems that he was struggling with. It felt like a normal hangout, a type of hangout that happened between them on a frequent basis. Yet, this ‘hangout’ changed a lot. Clutch’s friend brought up a huge issue that impacted their relationship. Clutch got told that his ‘Brother’ was turning on him, because his new group ‘The Legion’ was not happy with ‘The Wanted’. In their eyes ‘The Wanted’ was obtaining for something that they didn’t deserve. This causing them to not be willing to become neutral with ‘The Wanted’. In opposite, they told Clutch that they were planning to become hostile towards ‘The Wanted’ when they had the chance. Clutch was shook and out of words, he tried to leave this meeting as soon as possible. He had to think. After strolling through the city for a few hours, he looked up and saw a huge yellow crane and decided to climb up. The climb was filled by a rollercoaster of emotions. The main question that haunted his head was; WHY?. What did he do wrong, or how did he deserve to be stuck in this position. Nobody could give him that answer. He spend hours up the crane dangling his feet off the side of the crane. The sun started to go down and he decided that he had to down again. He stood up and brushed his somewhat developed tears away. He placed one feet on the railing, and placed the second one up there a few seconds later. He stood still for a second and then a big sigh escaped before he jumped of the crane. A few seconds after his jump, he pulled the cord on his back opening the parachute. The feeling of flying emptied his mind for a second. He decided to steer towards the Los Santos Pier, where after a few minutes he landed on the beach. He hid his parachute under the pier and found half a bottle of whiskey in the sand. He stared at the bottle desperately, getting flashbacks to his past where he was a uncontrollable drunk. Clutch decided to pick it up. There he was, at the place where once him and his ‘Brother’ were laughing and chilling together. A place that brought back great memories, but also a great pain and feeling of emptiness. They say that when you lose something, you can just replace it. His old friend was gone, and he was greeted with another old friend again. A friend that made him see less clear and influenced his daily business. He stayed there for a few more hours, drinking the whole bottle of whiskey and losing track of time. The questions in his head still haunted him and he couldn’t find any answers. More than a week had passed since that terrible day, and his emotions were completely shifted. He was no longer sad or angry, but had a feeling of darkness inside him. He described it as that he felt that he lost all of his emotions. He didn’t feel anything anymore, he felt empty. But he did make himself one promise, he swore that he would never feel like this again. Sometimes Brothers in Arms change to Brothers at Arms.
