Increase Exterior Item Slots from 30 to 40 (possibly higher)
TheCactus replied to KonaKealoha's topic in Game Suggestions
I think the amount of items you can place should be based on the area itself. In Vinewood it makes sense to have 50 furniture items all over your property as it may be quite spacious. In an area like pink cage motel or the trap houses on Forum Drive you should not be allowed to place any items outside. -
Being frozen while cuffed when released from MD

-1 apparently you are -
Check the ones being sold by the government. You aren't gonna get any better offers

Server pop is low enough. I would have nothing against it if we were reaching 500 on a daily basis but those times are long gone.

You are the laughing stock here, we are just trying to be fair. This was sold for 700k one year ago when 100+ properties got seized and people had a lot to choose from. It's not much except for the olympic sized pool. I'll give you 1.12

1.1 tops. Never going to sell over 1.3, I am sorry to ruin it

The property is small. 900k

Some people evade cops and commit crimes the minute they come out of DOC. The 24h suspension is for that kind of people and will flag them as people that should not be driving a car so they can't get their cars out the impound lot just to cause trouble as soon as their sentence ends, or at least make it difficult. Maybe you are not that kind of guy but the law is the same for everyone. Edit: I assure you that nobody's wasting their time tracing you for a stupid license. Regards.

Maybe have it so people that bring personal trucks earn additional money for every order. That way investing in a truck and paying for fuel actually makes sense.
-
It's gonna turn into a DM fest or a warzone like the events that staff organized (armored truck, plane with weapons, etc). Every single interested player is going to be there with the intention to shoot. Both law enforcement and gang members.

@McLovin1257 I have to partially agree with you when you say that most things are reserved to gangs. You would think that a newbie can just steal a car and sell it to gang members with a chop shop but that does not happen because they don't want to give part of the profit to you or at least that's what most members in an official faction would be like. They would rather have one of their close homies they know OOCly steal the car and get a cut. Less foreign parties means less risk. As I have stated before, they should do two things to make this kind of gameplay more accessible: 1. Make a cheaper variant for "poor people" with a % of actually removing parts without damaging them or stuff like that. 2. Add the good old chop shop rotation with lower payout. Safecracking should be a thing with more script added to it. I have made a suggestion some time ago but it went nowhere: There were development pictures about growing cannabis inside properties but we all know how that would ruin thins: drug prices will drop, no life players that don't interact with anyone will profit and new players with less resources will make even less money. Having them grow outside would be cool because people can spot you doing it but I have to disagree about doing it inside, locked in your safe heaven, unless it takes several hours to make the grow and there's chances of starting a fire. You talked about being raided while offline. I don't think that makes any difference since as a solo criminal there isn't much you could've done against SWAT with full gear and heavy weapons. You didn't even expect it to happen so that really minimizes your options.

There's a plethora of languages in the world but you chose to speak the language of facts.

@XeV I agree have to partially agree with all you have said. Chopshops: they are insanely expensive. You cant chop cars unless you team up with 2/3 people to invest in one. I think they should introduce one of the following options: 1. Make a cheaper variant for "poor people" with a % of actually removing parts without damaging them or stuff like that. 2. Add the good old chop shop rotation with lower payout. If you're smart enough you aint gonna have issues with people following you. If you got people that can help you can lead them into an ambush or just make them waste time. Go fish with the stolen car or something like that. Cooking drugs: The prices for a lab are blown out of proportion. You need way less of an investement to cook and it's a lot easier id you got a friend helping. Thank Lord they removed the cooking in apartments. 300 online players and you would only see cops on the streets. Guess why.. Robbing stores: We do it more for the fun with the homies. You can't really make bank by robbing stores and it is pretty dangerous after the second you rob. It became way easier after the last update so I dont really wanna talk about it cause I havent done this in a while now. Used to be a lot harder to be fair. Robbing ATMs: the money you can make is trash but the fines arent insane either. We're talking about Mission Row time. It's a one man job and it's fair compared to the charges, especially if you're on a motorcycle, scout the area beforehand and stick to escape routes that cruisers have trouble with. 80% you won't even have cops on you. Robbing banks: it sucks. You either do it right (cops are hella busy with a major situation), do it dirty (hella BFs which is cringe as fuck) or you get caught. Most cops have the win mentality when it comes to banks so they will shoot as soon as you can, which I do not agree with. I prefer chasing 4 dudes in a car after a bank robbery instead of shooting and killing the RP on the spot. Yes, it would make more sense from a realistic point of view to neutralise the threat as soon as you get the chance but we're playing to have fun. Big gang vs small groups: I totally agree with the unnecessary beef that comes out of nowhere and the suppression on smaller groups. In real life if a group is born you are going to try to profit from it. Work with them for personal gain. If they overstep their boundries you show them who's boss. It's all about money. Power is money. Nowadays they just look for beef or tax before looking for beef. No real escalation or roleplay. We don't like something you do/don't do? Wiped.

Cops New Undercover System For Stores Robery
TheCactus replied to mckidbe's topic in Videos & Screenshots
It's more of an IC topic and from an IC point of view I partially agree. Edit: In real life the charge would not stand in court so you do your homework. -
Spawned Vehicles with items inside to steal
TheCactus replied to Shurples's topic in Pending Suggestions
I don't think that having bobby pins, cash or jewellery in a car makes any sense. Maybe some other items like clothes, gps, map, jerry can and others. We all do have some spare change in our cars but cash? Doubt Glad to see @AnakinB agrees. Dont forget to NerfPD -
I am pretty sure that before the Sheriff's Department Faction was created, the Los Santos Police Department used to have people certify as dispatchers. The project didn't really work as planned. Now supervisors receive the same kind of training and are responsible for supervising, managing and dispatching units. I hope the 311 hotline will be added soon for non-emergency situations.

Kind of an IC question since you mention the price that they go for on the server. You should ask mechanics, racers, criminals, etc.

You might be good but keep ping variation and packet loss in mind. The construction site wall thanks you for all that lead. You were suspected of committing a felony and they performed a felony stop. Shame on them for following protocol, right? Why help a faction improve when you can slander it here, right? @DoTo That is incredibly disappointing. I'll give a serious answer since I am here. @AnakinB brought up a lot of points that have been discussed in the past. Thing is when you exagerate them all so much to the point it becomes bullshit, those who know the truth will disagree with all you have said. Sadly that's how the human mind works when reading a poorly written argumentative text. May I add: consider reading past suggestions/discussions on the forums to find your answers. You're an old member. You should know how things work. I don't want to be toxic or anything but I don't want to waste my time either on explaining you why all your points are partially or totally wrong, since more than one qualified staff member has done it in the past. I am NOT saying all your points are 100% wrong but you wrote them in a way that all I can do is disagree.

Busdriver rp and useful/useable bus stations!
TheCactus replied to Carl Johnson's topic in Pending Suggestions
+1 I believe the current Paleto Bus route works if you know the bus stops. Would be cool to have them marked on the map with something like "Bus Stop Route 101", including those in the city. If there's issues with too many blips on the map, you can make custom bus stop signs (saying which bus routes go through that stop) and players would just learn them. Even teach each other when necessary. Ask bus drivers, etc. I actually took the bus more than once in-game but it was pure luck https://streamable.com/9vblr8- 20 replies

I believe the restrictions are too drastic but not excessively. Yes, it would not make sense for any city organization to go in the desert and fuck with those turfs. Most ghetto people or mafia-organized groups would see nothing appealing in those areas. They should, however, be allowed to expand in Paleto and other areas in the city. Street gangs always aim higher to get rich fast so why not try to take turfs in Vinewood. At the same time, mafias try to control the "scum" in the ghetto, so they will attempt to control poor areas. Also mafia-like organizations tend to hide the sketchy stuff inside inconspicuous warehouses that they use for legal side business so why wouldn't they have influence in those areas? I don't see the issue of taking turfs that are "different" from a faction's lore as long as they don't start hanging out there too much or even move their base of operations. You wouldn't see a street gang operate in Blaine County. At the same time, I believe that if your own turf is in a bad shape, you should solve the issues you have at home before expanding. When that's done, if you want to make more money because you have enough power, there should be no restrictions. This would also create IC conflicts because if a powerful organization starts taking too much, all the others will try to prevent it by forming alliances or will become puppets to survive while slowly losing power.

Good question. I think it's not even a person. Probably some divine figure with an alter ego.
