  4. The application process for the LSEMS begins on the government website which is located in the Recruitment section of the LSEMS forum. Please make sure you use your characters First Name and Last Name in which you are applying for. The government website is entirely In-Character (IC) unless stated otherwise in the form of Out of Character brackets ( ((OOC)) ). If you want to join the LSEMS, this is a faction the enforces RP standards as well as committed and passionate roleplayers, please read through all the information that you find on the government website thoroughly before submitting your application The LSEMS Interview is divided into two parts, you may do your OOC interview and then your IC interview or the opposite: In Character Interview (IC) This will take place inside the Central Los Santos Medical Center. You will be assessed just like most job interviews in regards to your roleplay abilities. Out of Character Interview ((OOC)) This will take place on the Eclipse Teamspeak 3 Server and will take place on one of the Interview Room channels. If you are awaiting interview please use the "LSEMS Interview Waiting Room" channel and a member of LSEMS Human Resources should be with you when the time permits. You would also receive instructions and details on how to get this interview if you are accepted into the interview stage of your LSEMS application. During your interview, the interviewer will be checking on your microphone quality, your ability to speak English and your knowledge and grasp of the Eclipse Server Rules and General Role-Play terms. If you pass both your interviews, you will receive in your application a "Pending Contract" status. The training process for the LSEMS starts once the contract for the invited individual has been signed and their EMS badge received, this involves the signing of paperwork as well as the invitation to the faction and obtaining permission(s) and invite(s). The LSEMS training program is an important factor in becoming a part of the LSEMS and starting your job as an EMR. During the training program, you will be introduced and taught basic medical roleplay by certified Field Trainers. Introduction - You will be introduced to the LSEMS and be handed a handbook and paperwork that you must read through. Phase 1 - You will be introduced to basic commands and radio calls. Phase 2 - You will be introduced to basic treatment and start with providing basic treatment. Phase 3 - You will be encounter obscure injuries and will begin field work in order to work independently. Pre-Certification - You will be preparing for your Certification at this point you should be feeling confident in treating common injuries on the field. Certification - You are on your own. Your trainer will only be tasked with assessing you; they may give you hints or tips but you are at your own initiative. As an Emergency Medical Responder or EMR the following will apply when training or taking your LSEMS Certification. If you PASS your LSEMS Certification, you will then be certified as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic or EMT-B and can proceed in going on-duty on your own without a trainer. If you FAIL your LSEMS Certification, you are allowed to prepare for one more Certification, and unfortunately; if you are not prepared for your retake, failing will result in being discharged for failing to complete your training. If you FAIL your LSEMS Pre-Certification, you are allowed to prepare for one more Pre-Certification, your trainer would also note down and recommend your next plan of action you should take before taking your LSEMS Certification and unfortunately; if you are not prepared for your retake, failing will result in being discharged for failing to complete your training. If you FAIL to complete your training in the time frame given, have not submitted a leave of absence or have not reached out to member of Training Staff/Command. We will consider this as you are no longer interested and will result in discharged for failing to complete your training.
  5. The LSEMS Faction Thread is completely Out of Character ((OOC)) ; Information read from this thread should not be used for In Character (IC) purposes. "One Team, One Mission, Saving Lives..." • Initial History • In 1923, the Los Santos General Hospital was largest medical facility in the State of San Andreas, being able to care, provide and cope for 800 patients. In the 1960s through the 1970s it underwent renovations. Nine decades and counting with the expansion of different branches and departments; The Los Santos General Hospital restructured and renamed into the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services and through the times as the city of Los Santos and surrounding areas grew, the medical and emergency care provided to the citizens of San Andreas constantly evolves to meet the demanding needs of the service throughout the year. • 2017 History of the LSEMS • ----- • 2018 History of the LSEMS • -----. • 2019 History of the LSEMS • • 2020 History of the LSEMS • ----- ----- The Government Website is entirely In-Character (IC); unless this is stated in a form of OOC Brackets ((*message*))
  6. [LSEMS] +1 One of our commanders have reported this happening on him upon kicking someone from the menu due to resignation, it froze him, his salary and such and booted him off duty and unable to see /f chat and therefore had to close client and restart it. "sometimes when I kick people from faction the script kicks me off duty, and I have to go back on duty, when I removed the last person I was at 11 hours.. so it must be a bug as well. Ya, lost an hour"
  7. Hi, would like to add in; that this happens while patients or passengers are injured inside an EMS vehicle or Medevac in which if in a Medevac, the heli would suddenly shake, bounce or even glitch out. - Texting or even removal/wearing of mask. Happens on a Contender as well, so would assume all vehicles.
  8. +1, I support this suggestion. Even if this is aesthetics. Common Robbery and the "hands hands hands" do not shave peoples hair. It is somewhat a form of humiliation and mild torture as you have been marked by having your head shaved and should therefore allow some sort of OOC consent. Unless you are dishonouring a rival gang, your own gang or you have been marked in a RP scenario or have agreed in some form then shave ahead to those that needs to be shaved.
  9. Sorry a but strong -1 for me, I roleplay in a legal faction, MD to be exact and as always I roleplay being on call. This just means that my character personally is usually idle in one of the rooms or asleep under the table or even within the proximity of the Hospital. I also roleplay doing paperwork off-duty so if I see or hear someone speaking to me I roleplay with them. As per usual if I cannot entertain them for their roleplay I say so saying, "Sorry Sir/Miss, I am about to fly out of town or I'm about to take a rest in the on-call room. Come back another time or I can direct you to someone who may be able to help." Also as its been quoted in the comments before IRL > RP. If you got to go, you got to go. As long as you are not in an active roleplay or that you have at least let the other party know that you cannot entertain them at the meantime. It also depends who you are roleplaying with, I personally even when I'm about to log off if someone stops me for a quick medical rp, I roleplay it. If you want to roleplay going home - go home and log out, but this also comes with the risk potential roleplay of getting robbed or house raided then do so just adding to the time when you should be attending a school pickup or back to IRL work. Even if you are about to log off or that you explained to the other party that you got to go. I promise you, there would endless reports of Non-RP - Logging off, because they had to go and they didn't want to RP. Not generally pointing it on anyone but there would be cases where the "Player" lives at home and would need to do chores, help around the house, homework/schoolwork, childrearing, dinner time. In which case even if they say, "I cannot pause the game!", well they have to log off else it will be a slipper to the face.
  10. This is no longer an issue, no other reports from anyone in LSEMS has said from this date 06/08/2019. Thank you for replying Developer. Please kindly archive Admins/Moderators.
  11. The bags you place outside of the house stash gets removed if there is a restart unfortunately.
  12. +1 Please definitely adjust the volume for stashes as most of the uses of my house stash in my POV is storing food and drinks in rp fridge and mostly clothing which I have spent bag upon bags to be stored
  13. Date and time (provide timezone): 01/07/2019 - 21:50 UK Time Character name: Andrea Fallon Issue/bug you are reporting: We had an issue where a call would pop up on the dispatch list Call 71 and 72 and it needed LAW/MED (PD/MD) on the the call When we checked our /calls list to /resp to either call 71 or 72 it does not show up. We then had to check in faction chat if the call list was bugged for anyone. -- Added -- Expected behavior: LAW/MED calls should also appear for the MD call list before it has been updated Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: 1. Have a citizen call 911 and ask for both Police and Medical (Able to see LAW/MED calls and respond to them before the update of 2.5.0) 2. It may show for the Police call list but not the Medical call list -- Unless this is intentional then please ignore this bug report post -- Vehicle license plate number*:
  14. +1 For this idea To add maybe for unwanted furniture [crates] too at the same charity bank.
  15. +1 more wigs and hairdo's
  16. +1 for the safety of the citizens
