I never said I wanted them to be spawned out of thin air. If a cargo truck had a shipment of guns, and it RPly got stopped. Criminals would have taken the guns, that isn't out of thin air. It really wouldn't divide civilian and criminal activities. Criminals could still go to civilian activities, criminal activities would just be another extra thing to increase RP on the criminal side.

Hey yeah, so I'm not saying we advertise it the same way. Something like texting the "gang leaders" of an organization about an event work work just as fine. I'm not saying that criminals shouldn't be allowed to attend the civilian events as well. I'm also suggesting something that makes RP sense and will benefit a faction RPly for being the ones that complete the so called "criminal" events.

Currently we're unable to import guns which is an "IC Issue." Although we've tried to resolve it ICly, it's completely impossible. Since we cannot import guns and it's genuinely becoming impossible to play as a criminal. I'd like to suggest something similar to the weekly Sunday civilian events. Criminal Events > Every x day of the week there would be a new sort of weekly event for all sort of criminals to participate in. Examples Some examples of different events could be payload events, where the task is to stop a cargo truck from reaching x location on the map to another spot on the map. If a gang successfully intercepted the cargo, they would receive some sort of reward. Some examples of rewards would be > Cash Prize - The faction would receive a cash prize that could be split up among the gang, or be deposited into the factions treasury. > Weapon Prize - As it's impossible to get any sort of weapons, the prize could be a big shipment of weaponry and ammo. > Property Prize - Another thing that could improve RP would be an additional property that fits the factions RP. Different ideas of events Cargo heist -> Intercept a shipment from merry-weather docks to paleto bay and drop the shipment off at your gangs HQ. Humane Raid -> Invade Humane lab gang by gang, whoever can retrieve x package the fastest and take out all the guards and retrieve an experimental piece of technology that they sell to a cartel member for a cash prize. The Illegal Businessman -> Each gang would have the chance to diplomatically talk to an illegal businessman on why he should invest into a property with their gang and affiliate with them. (He'd only choose one)

First off, along with the others I think we can all appreciate your replies. As for my concerns, I can definitely confirm how long development can take, as I do some game development of my own with a team so I do know it does come with time. You stated that the laptop issue was an "IC Issue", but we have absolutely no way of finding or resolving this issue ICly for many reasons. For one, the "overseas" contacts are not real, and in no way can we find out how everyone lost their import stock. I know from our side, we've been trying to figure out how to fix it but there's quite literally no way of doing so. The problem that we have right now is compared to other parts of the server the criminal side of RP is completely lacking, as stated previously at least in The Triads we have tried to make our own fun RP. But for one that can always last so long, and for two when another faction such as PD is involved then that role play then becomes all about "capturing and arresting the criminals." I say that, because in the last big RP situation which took us months of planning, in around ten minutes of moving our payload on the phantom the Sheriffs/Police gave no regard for the RP and treated it as a normal truck felony evading. I'm not going to go more into that topic, as it was already talked about with faction handlers. But I think you can definitely respect why we want an update, and why taking away one of the only significant scripted systems criminals have is a devastating blow RP wise. Doing something like that even if it is IC, when we have no possible way of finding out how it happened or how to fix it is just entirely demotivating. We do appreciate the portable drug labs entirely, but not everything we need has to be script-wise. Staff currently sets up events for the entire server on sundays, even if Staff could set up Criminal only events on x day of the week. Where the winning criminal faction would get some sort of reward, that would be just as amazing as a new criminal update.

I honestly think suggestions like this is what creates problems on the server. Currently PD has an immense amount of people, the other day I had an experience where a friend was being chased by around 10-15 cops. He was in a comet retro and did get away. But, you need to consider how many of these cars are actually on the server. There are quite literally only three 811's and 10-20 Comet Retros. Considering the amount of criminals on the server, that isn't too bad at all. Nerfing criminals even further should not even be a suggestion. Currently criminal RP is lacking as it is, removing a minor way of escape only encourages the play to win mentality. Removing ways of escape just encourages a play to win attitude which is unneeded. This suggestion is the equivalent to us making a suggestion to get rid of the XRAY just because we can't obtain one. It's completely unneeded -

It's based off of LA but you cannot compare criminals on ECRP to criminals in LA. There are major differences between gangs in LA and gangs on ECRP. Criminal life on ECRP is exaggerated because it's a game and people wanna have fun.

Yes you don't see crips rolling around in military vehicles, but you could argue that mafias and cartels in foreign countries would have access to those types of vehicles. I'm not saying we allow every criminal to use those vehicles. I think $100,000 for a one time use vehicle seems pretty fair.

Right now Criminal RP is pretty dry and in need of an update. I am suggesting a list of possible updates and features that could be added in accordance to some of the current rules. The first major update that everyone is looking for is a scripted turf update. Turfs People used to love how turfs worked back in the day, but there were also multiple issues with turfs as well. There are a few different ways that the turf system could be implemented to work. What would be different about modern turf? > Allow different turfs to have different sort of warehouses/factories. Giving different turfs different features would encourage RP between different gangs, and would create RP situations causing gang wars, deals between gangs, etc. Ex. The Strawberry Area would have a warehouse where an increased amount of drugs could be made. The Mirror Park Area would have a warehouse where special weapons could be imported and constructed. The Little Seoul Area would have a warehouse where specialty vehicles could be made and distributed for a one time use. Different types of warehouses > Gun Warehouse Gun Warehouses would have the ability to craft multiple different sets of weaponry. They would be able to craft weapons such as the following by buying gun parts and putting them together which would take an x amount of time. 1. AP Pistol -> $20,000 Worth of Parts -> 2 Hours per gun 2. Musket -> $30,000 Worth of Parts -> 5 Hours per gun 3. Carbine -> $50,000 Worth of Parts -> 10 Hours per gun 4. TEC-9/Machine Pistol -> $40,000 Worth of Parts -> 5 Hours per gun > Drug Warehouse Drug warehouses would have 2x the amount of shelves that a regular drug lab would have, and would have the same restock time. As this would make the most money, there would be the least amount of these types of warehouses. > Vehicle Warehouse Vehicle Warehouses would allow criminals to buy different parts and construct both specialty parts and one time use vehicles. All vehicles imported from the factories would be deemed as illegal vehicles, and hence PD would attempt to pull them over every time they're seen. 1. MTL Wastelander -> $50,000 2. Insurgent -> $100,000 3. Phantom Wedge -> $250,000 4. Blazer Aqua -> $50,000 Warehouses would have the ability to create a maximum of 10 vehicles at once. Instead of the vehicles being owned by players you could transfer them from faction -> faction. Importing System Essentially the import system would be the same exact import system as the old turf system. Each turf would have 1 specialty warehouse and 1 regular warehouse. > This would encourage actual RP picking up shipments. > Parts would be imported from specialty warehouses > Guns & Regular weapons would be imported from the regular warehouse Turf & Gang war Rules In order for a gang to take over turf they would need an IC reason to do so. Gangs would be limited to x amount of turf. So they would need to pick turf that would make sense for them RPly and scriptly. As for the rules: An OOC Timer would take place and turf would only be able to be taken from XX:XX UTC - XX:XX UTC (time should be roughly 6 hours) This would fix the old problem of gangs taking other gangs turf when one gang is asleep. Turf War DM Rules - DM should be allowed only during those 6 hours only within the turf territory. NLR would still take place and that would cause gangs to play smart when taking turf. Another way that DM could be allowed during a turf war is a gang leader could talk to another gang leader and say something along the lines of "Get your boys out of here or we'll forcefully take your territory." -> That would end up being plausible if the gang leader said no, then both gangs would have DM rights. This would also be extremely realistic as well. One requirement would also be 15% of both gangs would have to be online during that time. Adding turfs back would essentially increase Gang RP and there would be less shootouts and arguments between PD & Criminals both ICly and OOCly. It's good to have RP between Gangs & Cops but sometimes it gets a bit excessive. Importable Drug Labs The ability to import portable drug labs and shelves would also be amazing. This would encourage players to set up locations where they would have the ability to make drugs at a location other then a regular drug lab. Shelves would also restock 2x the time as a normal drug labs shelf. Or you would have to import supplies for drugs. (That's up to the people and the developers)
