+1 Looking forward to this. Growing weed would be an obstacle. Implementing large plots for weed in Blaine county would be cool which forces transportation and protection. Also, selling weed wholesale would become another avenue which could promote RP between gangs and independent/unaffiliated drug dealers. Some narcotics don't require weed but the ones that do would require a lot of interior space to grow inside and most people get bored/afk while growing. Separating the growing and cooking aspects would create some dynamic interactions.

You get tickets by being pulled over and issued one. Let me also note that 90% of traffic stops don't involve strip searches on a regular basis like they do throughout LSPD and every precinct in the city xD

+1 Admins need to trash this system or overhaul it - if they care about the server's health. Doesn't promote RP and only annoys people. Also makes the cops waste time on "wanted" people when having some speeding tickets shouldn't make you "wanted". Speeding tickets in the USA are not nearly as serious as Eclipse RP speeding tickets lol. Speed cameras and tickets should not be a cornerstone of the server. A large portion of interactions, situations, problems etc. have to do with speeding. It's terrible RP and just a waste of everyone's time and money.

+1 pending more elaboration on each idea. None are bad but obviously have to be fleshed out. Specfiically, #1, 2, 3, 4 and 6. Those 5 suggestions have a place on the server and should certainly be looked into.

^and the sentencing/charge system needs a complete overhaul. With that being said, sentencing makes no sense and modifications could appease the qualms cited by the OP. Max time for reckless driving and murder for example makes no sense and feels ridiculous. The fines and tickets are a massive deterrent alone as it stands - ask any successful criminal. There is a lot of added time in the form of RP with cops/prison guards and travel time. The punishment in fines/max time hits pretty hard OOCly sometimes. Losing an entire day or possibly more is not okay, unless a more detailed suggestion remedies such an issue. -1

+1 This post hits the nail on the head. Point 1 makes a good point in that no one uses first person, furthering the unrealistic scenarios. Point 2 is huge - too many people have un-recorded Xhairs with their overpowered asus monitors Point 3 is huge - Desync destroys realism and when you see blood coming out but they aren't hurt... it's all the more worse. Moreover, you get no reward due to desync for hitting shots with no xhair. Overall, if the admins care about realism, the crosshair is the last place to start. There is a ridiculous amount of unrealistic features and mechanics that go far beyond crosshair realism. It's a game.

Okay that's exactly what I thought, thank you very much for the clarification - admin discretion is the deciding factor and the reason I will not touch that program or any other, unfortunately. I understand the reasoning though, there's a lot of different ways to utilize AHC, some malicious or advantageous and some harmless. Although, here have been communities with a lot of success allowing Auto Hot Key in totality, in terms of GTA RP.

Is AutoHotkey use permitted for RP? Click clack binds? OR is this a grey area you can get permad for if admins had bad day - serious question as AutoHotkey would really help out in some scenarios.

Amazing idea and totally realistic will create RP for bandits and the police. This idea and many others shows a huge flaw of NCZs and their immense presence. Maybe there are too many NCZs and they are prohibiting/restricting some of the best RP. Some banks can be non ncz

Do you know (or anyone else) if this is reported to cops after 3 days IC or OOC and is it even reported via marking you as a player or how do cops enforce these tickets IC?

That is really scary - to sacrifice realism and force non-rp actions by LSPD to alleviate some OOC issue. This logic is flawed and dangerous to the greatness of Eclipse. Cameras/speed traps catching license plates and allocating fines is one thing but ignoring masks and vehicle ownership is scary. I don't have it too bad but I can imagine new players (who will probably get arrested/caught aswell) are destroying their entire characters because of this system in the manner of draining their bank accounts dry because you can easily get 5-15k worth of speeding tickets just learning these cameras exist - that's probably on the low end btw (lol). If you want to deal with OOC issues I would suggest using OOC means such as placing admins in these places and dishing out punishment for the driving issues that spawned this camera-speeding-ticket-system. -Vito
