Is there a difficult technical reason or meta reason there is only one Parking lot?

As someone trying to slowly build up a Blaine County identity, I find that unfortunate.

would the lawyers need OOC legal experiences? Would they need to be Bar'd in California? Or would any state do? What about from another country? What if the lawyer character is unable to play for a few days? What if the judge, defence and production cant be on together for 4 or 5 days? Does the player say in jail untill their court date and then if found guilty spend more time in prison? Is there Bail? Is there additional punishment for easting everyones time for obvious guilt?

+1 As someone WHO RP's a Blaine county resident, going into the city every night to safely park my car is annoying.

Im scowering every house north of the Vinewood sign. And everything seems to be owned! Every motel room every crap shack, every welfare wonderland ranch. Who the hell owns these? And how many of them are actually characters who identify as a Blaine county resident? Everything on sale seems to be LS or Paleto, does Sanora desert actually have a thriving residential scene? Or are they just cheep houses bought upnin bulk by city RPers?

This. Not as effective in the sticks but it would be a decent way to get around the city.

Mabe lower the cost of mundane and simple items, maps, gps, food and water? And keep a plethora of low end cars, simple sedans, beater trucks, at reasonable 10-50K range. Your mid to high end and Super cars can still be millions,

I'm not even asking decent. I mean just standard stuff to play the game at a base level, map, gps, or a LOW level car or truck! I get that guns and whatnot are harder to buy, I do, but its just hard to /play the game/ let alone excell at it, if all you have are your own two feet.

That's me trying to role play while in work. Farming. I dont play on this server to stand in a field all day. I also dont have 40 hours a week to play on the server. Im not asking for handouts, just the ability to role play an average citizen with average middle class stuff.

I have 3 hours at night after work. A few times a week. Maybe double that if i have a Saturday off. If i farm calmly and am not intrupted by a robbery or other shenanigans I make about 4k an hour. Idle chitchat but no chance for serious RP. I'll probably want a water and burger on hand, so thats about 750 depending where I go. If I die I need a new map, GPS, charger, maybe a new battery if i was just stripped and not killed, that can wipe out a days worth of work. Parking my car is another 500 down the drain. God forbid I lose my legal firearm preventing my own robbery, thats another day of farming to get back. Plus a grand in taxi fees if I dont have anyone online who can give me a ride from the city back to Blaine county... Inflation is an issue but I feel like 1000 dollar maps only hurt the people getting killed by gangs with million dollar mansions. The 500 parking fee is pointless for those whove got supercars and crippling to those that dont. Rebuying maps GPS chargers and God forbid /Bags/ can make a day of work wasted and reseting yourself after a robbery or death can take precious hours. How do you balance for players who just wanna RP a middle class but cant afford to with their limited time?

Now im new to the server so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but its also a matter of scale and teritory. There isnt a scarcity of teritory to contest. In a broad sense you have 3 or so levels of teritory. Declared territory, implied territory, and Resource Nodes. Declared territory is anyplace a gang would consider a base of operations or a safe haven. Publicly known or not its a common meeting point and hangout. Large concentrations of members wont be contested. Implied territory is any region that is unlikely to be contested on a general basis. While vague and Flexable, a block or two around a declared territory location or an economic region usually suffice. A bikergang in Blane county. The Mob in a high class area. Hoodrats on Grove street. While maybe not defined to exact blocks the implications are clear: you look like you belong, or you dont. Lastly Resource Nodes. Static locations that are public geneally immovable or vastly limited. The Chopshop or the farms. Places that dont have a name tied to them they can be fought over. Or owned places like gas stations or other businesses that can change hands. A Resource Node can be a direct or indirect territory location as well but not without much more substantial investment in defense and diplomacy to maintain that status. In the end, we dont have enough large groups to put serious pressure on the others to maintain territory! Noone is fighting for blocks or stressed on income. They found their niches and there is no reason to take more than they can handle. The city is big and pleanty more large groups can claim swaths of direct territory before butting up against another. And even then they dont need to compete. Sharing resources and taking taxes is much more profitable than maintaining a blockade of the nodes. All parties have reached an equilibrium. You want constant war? Join a DM server. This is all economics and game theory. Untill there is more pressure in the enviroment there is no need for conflict. And if your idea of pressure is 4 guys with a big chip on their shoulder and a bigger ego, then you're going to be an annoyance. Of course this is a gross simplification of months and years of history and economics but alliances and monopolies are just good strategy. To simply suggest they change a working strategy is ignorance bordering on insult.

Im not saying this couldnt work on its own, but i see your name on a lot of groups, but not a lot of activity from them. Farmers union. Fishers Union. Miners union. Biker gang. Security company. Thats just in the last 3 or 4 months. I see no reason to belive this is going to receive any serious attention. Pass.

+1 As a new player... It seems like a solution to something that was never a problem. It's a hassle for the sake of being a hassle. App on the phone gives more use to the phone.

I'll caviate this with the fact im new to the server, but have been playing such RP for years. I feel that heavy weapons like Rifles and long barrel shotguns shouldnt be concealable. Pulled from an invintory should force a local action text. Pulled from a trunk, forced action text. You cant be subtle and quick fingered with a long barreled weapon. Theyre not supposed to be snuck around. Theyre shows of force and visable deterants displayed when in a position of power or set up with prior forethought. Have it in a trunk and if you get rolled up on, take cover and return fire while another guy tries to get to the trunk. Or if youre doing the assault stop around the corner and unpack the artillery. But if you casually stroll up to me, chit chatting? You shouldn't "surprise" me with a fucking hunting rifle before I get my pistol out. Thats how i see it.
