  1. I've been part of numerous robberies and never have I seen a situation anywhere close to what you are describing. Crims are using drags to easily get away and that's fair play to them. When you have LSPD with over 150 members + SD with close to 70, you want to get away as fast as possible because there will be 15 cruisers ready and waiting just to get on the chase. CCTV is giving an unfair advantage and yes, PD doesn't sit at MR or SD waiting for a robbery to happen. But when one does happen, they are out there behind the screen. I don't feel a law enforcement group consisting of over 200 members need this kind power when official gangs are artificially limited to 40. Crim RP is being nerfed on every major server changelogs and it came to a point where there's nothing to gain being a crim really, when you could sit at a legal job doing a fair bit less amount of work and still get more money in the long run than someone's that's sometimes risking more 150k for virtually close to no immediate monetary gain.
  2. This is not fair indeed, and it's the way criminals get treated on the daily. As for your situation, they escalated the shit out of it just to find a reason to search your vehicle (which shouldn't have happened). Why they do it? Just because they can and there's no one to stop them. Wearing a mask in winter? Hey that's illegal, let me search your entire car and stack the most charges I can on your ass. Never made any crime? Hell, you're still a criminal, you had a mask, 1 marijuana and leftover meat that has no purpose on the server anymore. This could have a been handled way simpler by the LSPD but you had to cross ways with a particular officer that enjoys getting people in jail for the littlest cause. This is sadly one of the reason why I lost motivation to play the server.
  3. Jean's been catching up with a longtime friend and member of FSO at the Noodle House. Even tho they have parted ways numerous times, these two always seemed to find themselves back on the same road... time after time. As he was about to wrap up with him, Jean got asked if he would come to the high command tea. He answered with a vivid "Yes!", noting the time at which the event was due and drove back to his house to refresh himself. "High command tea? Will I have the chance to pay myself a little treat?" With a smile drawn on his face, he pulled back into the noodle house, looking forward to have a nice, enlivening tea. "Hey! Jean! Did you come in to help serve??" "Serve? Huh, yeah sure..!" As these words were said, some cars started gathering up in the back of the restaurant... Each representing different gang colours. "Ohhh, oh, THIS high command!" Jean quickly proceeded back into his car and went to change his clothes so that he could serve. Driving back to the Noodle House, he saw a lot of cars had made their way into the parking lot already... It was packed! Coming inside, a small chatter could be heard as everyone was grabbing a seat close to their relatives. He made his way into the kitchen, where he found Ling looking at all of the guests from behind the counter , she seemed very nervous about serving all of these people as we needed to make a great impression. Jean then promptly started preparing cups and plates for the tea and put up some water to boil. When that was done, he went to the backstore and grabbed all of the instruments and ingredients he needed in order to craft the best iced Oolong chinese chai tea the guests would have ever tasted. As the surroundings in the kitchen became quieter, a few words could come and reach Jean's ears. "We just came in and all that chat already sounds like a blacklist." These words came to Jean's ears with the strength of a piercing bullet. He stared at the counter for a brief moment, thinking of who could be a part of that said list... "Of course... it only makes sense." As FSO didn't want to step into any conflicts, they refrained from having any partaking in the war that had been going on for months as they had more than respectable relations with both parties involved... Having a few order come in steered Jean's attraction away from the conversation and he promptly got back to work. He later helped Ling, Greg and Thomas serve the dumplings and the whole assembly started munching on them. As everyone was fulfilled and the talking that had to be made was concluded, everybody started moving out of the restaurant... The sound coming from the eating room quickly came down to a relaxing hush. Having a taste for sugar, a member of the Goblins came to the counter and ordered himself an iced Oolong chai tea. Smiling, as he recognised the face of a person he appreciates, Jean quickly got his hands back on the counter and began to make the tea. Just as he was about to pour the milk into the cup, a sharp voice could be heard coming from behind. "F*ck the milk! Honey and vanilla man!" Mixing in everything but the milk and carefully dropping some icecubes on top of his concoction, the iced tea was ready to serve. The slight layer of condensation that'd already formed around the glass displayed how cold the drink was. Jean handed over the glass and watched his customer take his first sip... the man's face alone described how he enjoyed it. Just as Jean's last customer was served, everyone had time to make their way out of the restaurant, the crew enjoyed a few minutes of slack with eachother and bantered around. Jean doesn't know what has been said at this "high command tea", but it would for sure, clear out a few more miles on the road up ahead that's coming for FSO.
  4. Jean just woke up, proceeding to go through his daily routine.. Wake up, pick up the phone, check messages, freshen up his face and hop in his car. He was driving to The Noodle House, where he usually find it's relatives around. But today was a different day... No one could be seen around the restaurant so he proceeded to drive to the pier where he knows he can always find someone to chat with. As he was passing in front of the skatepark, he saw an unusual amount of cars around the area. The typically quiet park was blooming with energy as it was filled with people and bikes hopping all around the place. He quickly noticed all of his friends cars so it could only mean one thing... "It's finally happening! The BMX competition!" Jean parked his car, joined the group and the sight of all the people enjoying themselves sure put a smile on his face. He had time to enjoy a good Taco from Kentavion, who took the opportunity to bring in some food to everyone around. Quickly enough, contestants where invited to register themselves and a few brave man put up their honour at stake. Jean, having no experience of any sort on these kind of bikes, figured it would be better for both his ego and his overall health to keep himself off the competition. "If you are competing, get in the line!" Contestants were urged to get ready for the competion. We could feel the tension and the excitement of each and every one of them as it was their chance to grasp the official title of the best BMX rider around town. The competition ensued, with a slight breeze of fresh air and a beautiful sunset, we couldn't have wished for better conditions on this very day. After all the participants put their life on the edge, trying to pull off the best trick that would allow them to stand over the others the jury called for a final, between 3 participants. Tyler, Travis and Dlugi were called back in line in front of the half pipe. The final started and the whole crowd was tense as the contestants were all putting up their last trick up their sleeves to win the title. Altough... Only one could remain... "Dlugi Macshea!" The name of the BMX king was finally settled. After the competition, the park was reopen for a freeride session with the public. To everyone's suprise, even some members of the local police departement hopped on bikes and began to show off their skills. A little party followed, everyone had the chance to have a chat and a picture of the crowd was taken! Everyone was then invited for some refreshing noodles at the restaurant, the police officers were also invited so we had to make this one a hit! Jean got back to his home, took a quick shower, switched clothes and was ready for assisting in the restaurant. To his suprise, only a few people from the crowd came in the restaurant. He still made sure they had the best service they ever had. Altough he was expecting much more people, Jean figured some late night noodles aren't everyone's taste and was still satisfied with the clients he had. The event was a huge hit and Jean is fairly certain someone else truly feels he deserves the crown. But will anyone ever be able to defeat Dlugi?
  5. A new beginning Jean had great hopes his path was clear and open within the Triads, months had passed, sacrifices were made and the once reputable businessman became an acquaintance of the known criminal scums of the city. Has he tought his reputation was building up inside the group, one day, what seemed to be a regular meeting for Jean turned out to be what felt like a hundred blades stabbing thru his back. "Jean, we don't see you often, we will have to bench you" are the words that came out Bruce Wong's mouth... At this very moment, Jean felt like his whole world was shattered appart. As Jean's mind was still battling over the phrase he just heard, he still had to attend the meeting silently. Multiple persons were called up front for promotions and what used to be an enjoyable ceremony, turned into a torturing nightmare as he saw new faces being put up in his place. Jean was told after the meeting that he was still the "homie" and could still wear the color and the mask, but he felt otherwise... Days passed and the thought of the recent events were still hunting Jean's mind. He went up to observatory to try and meet up with an old friend of his that used to be racing and luckily, they were around the area so Jean spent the night with them, driving around the track, venting off any stress. As he needed some sort of relaxation he went to the pier to fish and socialize with the people around. Altough, on a rainy night, Jean got shot at in cold blood after being asked if he was triads. Luckily, a woman named Ana got out of her way to save him, but this event became a turning point for him as he figured he wouldn't represent a gang that hadn't been loyal to him just to be targeted and potentially killed for good. He then dropped the color, disposed of the mask and decided he would roll on it's own for a few... One night, he received a text from Simon wondering what he was up to. After a quick discussion, they rolled up towards labs together, ocean being the first stop. Arriving at the area, familiar faces were around and a few red purpleish cars could be seen. Four Seas Order was there and Jean already knew these people and the ones in charge of it. Missing the old days in which he was part of a family, he quickly proposed his service to Charlie and in a matter of seconds, the whole crew was around Jean, greeting him very warmly. Jean immediately felt he belonged in the group, made a quick stop at LSC to get his car painted got some fresh clothes and then spent the rest of the night running errands with them. This night would ultimately dictate a new beginning for Jean as he knows, for sure, the best is yet to come.

  7. Have a static station at the PD office that would let you search player's name by ID. This wouldn't remove the whole system, but would help in reducing the metagaming risk associated with the MDC in it's current state. +1 This change would only bring a deeper layer of roleplay.
  8. I wouldn't assume the PD has to believe your story. But I see PD also not give you any chance in the situation by blocking the door with his car, only times I've personally seen PD pull up at a store I was robbing, they had the decency not to do so.
  9. We are mostly being identified by our colors and yes there are ways in which it affects us ICly
  10. Because sometimes it's not intentional... Even if it is, I can understand, without encouraging, new players combat logging off a situation they don't like thinking there will be little to no consequences (And I, know it's written in the rules.) Also, just take into consideration that you are not losing ANYTHING but 10 to 15 minutes of roleplay because someone combat logged. A 3 day ban would be enough for a first offence.
  11. -1 As frustrating as it can be, I don't think this is worth an instant perma-ban. If reproduced too much, it could lead to a ban eventually but the majority of the people I see combat logging are rather new players. A chance has to be given to people... they should have the opportunity to learn. I feel like we shouldn't be slapping the banhammer as soon as someone breaks a rule.
  12. Even tough this suggestion would bring more life in the city, I think it would ask too much ressources on the server, hence why there's limited amount of spots in the high and why unused cars are being moved to the parking lot. Still! I would enjoy some more spots to park cars.
  13. There's really not a lot of civilian RP going on. Even some govt factions are now tied to gangs somehow. We need more content for civs and less involvment from gangs in every aspect of the server. I don't see how a criminal with several charges would realisticly be able to run a business without being raided by the police. And either way, if we throw more opportunities for ''gangs'' to drive a part of the server you know just like me that it'll only give the biggest gang in the city more power over civs and other gangs.
  14. Gangs or gang members shouldn't be able to run a business.
  15. I own one of the businesses that is outside of the city and I can assure you that my daily income ( 24 hours ) is lower than the amount I would make if I would spend 1 or 2 hours fishing. What would be the point of owning a business if in the end I would make less money than I would make while solely being on welfare? I spent over 40 days of playtime in the server, working my head off to eventually get a business to have my name on the map, I grew with the community, get to know a lot of people... And yeah, I don't have that much time to play anymore (I have roughly 1 hour a day of free time). Based on your logic, I would need to spend this 1 hour, logging on GTA, barely having time to invest in some good rp scenarios just to get a few hundred dollars out of my millions dollar worth business. I don't want to say your suggestion is stupid... But it doesn't make any sense.
  16. Can't do anything on the server without litteraly being swarmed by 20 blue cars and bikes getting robbed for a knife and a fishing rod. I remember how bringing in official factions was supposed to fix the low quality of roleplay regarding the constant theft for no valuable reasons but now we're just being robbed by people wearing colors, no more different than before... Just that I can't even have a gun to defend myself now. Over that, after you get robbed, you have to build back. Spending your valued time grinding again...
  17. Date and time (provide timezone): N/A Character name: Jean Pelletier Issue/bug you are reporting: Slots credit menu Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Vehicle license plate number*: Hello, not quite a bug but hmm there's a problem with the slots menu
  18. "well this is roleplay", tell me about any city on earth that has over 80% of it's population that are criminals who fears of having the police called on them.
  19. -1 Just don't act the way that leaves you with a criminal record if you don't want one. And for the first suggestion, criminals have way too much power already. -1
  20. I would, out of my head try and install RageMP on the same drive as GTA.
  21. Did this just happen recently or has it always been with Rage?
  22. What's your computer specs? Including drives?
  23. Rp will be as much as the community wants it to be... There's no physical limitation to any level of rp you want to entertain. What is needed to be done is stronger failRP rules. @DDevastatedTV I've been here for over a year and I've seen the decline. People back then used to hangout at places like MD and just talk and have fun even when the game was crashing every hour or so. Now people risk prison and a criminal record to get a radio and chop shop a Stanier. How is that not failRP?
