  1. +1, this needs to be looked at. Over all this, I think the /mileage on the car is also dependent on fuel consumption along with the amount of dirt the car accumulates over time. Have it so that each X amount of fuel is doubled when tanking the car so that in the end it still costs twice as less fuel having VIP but does not affect the total amount you can put in your tank.

  3. I got a RT3000 that I might part with, custom plate : FEARLESS, number's 3269607.
  4. No, more FPS isn't needed for roleplay, but a stable FPS is needed for us to enjoy the experience. I get huge frame drops when coming close to high ends or any populated areas that affects my inputs whilst driving. We don't need more bloat that no one asked for for the sole purpose of putting more sticks in the wheels of a particular part of the servers population. Breaks it for me to have trees straight up coming out of the sidewalk just like the minecraft jungle node trees up north. Don't know how I feel about the trees, I like some of the areas, but it's just too much honestly.
  5. I don't feel this should be a strongly enforced rule, but just a general "out of respect" kind of thing. There's situations that can really get out of hand, especially on criminal characters that will get you mad and angry. Roleplaying is for most of us a way to experience an extraordinary life in a totally fantastic but realistic world and it ruins the immersion even more if we have to stop and think about what we say in a particular situation that's taking us over so many different emotions. There's so many times where I've stopped and thought about OOC limitations to my IC actions, I don't feel we need to add people's feelings on top of that, that's... just the way it is. Over all that, I've rarely noticed someone saying that kind of comments in my 5+ years on the server. Maybe PD get the most of it, but it's all IC and I feel totally justified to say such things IC after facing an arrested dropping you down 2 hours+ of playtime, 20k in fines and your car in impound. Maybe we should make everyone rich so that those that live in poverty OOC shouldn't have to face it on the server as well. Should maybe remove drugs as well since some people might have issues with drug usage OOCly, or alcohol for that matter. This is not a widespread issue and we don't need to treat it that way, there might only be a select few people that are living thru hard times and go on GTA to escape. If any IC comments make them feel a certain way, there's always /b to explain yourself and make the other person understand your situation. If the abuse continues then that might be subject to the OOC toxicity rule.

  11. Date and time (provide timezone): 30/04/2022 9:49 PM EST Character name: Dominick_Robson Issue/bug you are reporting: I tried modding my Remus but the option for the lowered stance seemingly disappeared from the mechanic's mod menu. The car still has the stance but the menu doesn't provide it. Expected behavior: Should have the option to select wether we apply the lowered stance or not on cars that supports it. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: It worked before, but the option is just gone for now. I'm not certain if it's only this car that's affected. https://imgur.com/a/oz1ghPE
  12. +1 people don't understand this has far more to do with CPU load than GPU load. I got one of the most powerful GPUs that has been released lately and as soon as I get these trees are out my FOV, I get a bump of sometimes over a hundred FPS. Overall it can be great for immersion, altough 350 feet tall trees kinda breaks it for me... but I think people with lower spec'd computer will be forced off the server because it litterally makes it unplayable for them.
  13. Aren't you actively trying to buy one on the forum advertisements? -1 for me... Besides securing yourself a car out of pure desire, because you cannot drive it, what else would that bring to the server? One thing I would like to see more often is super/rare cars auctions. People that have those cars (including supers) have either contributed to the server in it's earlier phases or have worked very hard to get their hands on one. It's a prestige to have such a car and most people that possesses one treat it as such.
  14. I went to DCC once and I got harrassed for stamps, does not recommend. You're lucky you didn't have that much troubles.
  15. This story is so tense, it always keeps me on edge for the next part to come.
  16. Of all other ways money is spawned into the server, I don't think the 500$ I get per hour that allows me to afford one burger is something to be worried about. How much salary is spawned out of legal jobs? I would be interested to know. Do the figures you brought in cover the amount that is loss in taxes? Or is it just the raw 1000$ before tax? Selling drugs gives spawned money, robbing stores gives spawned money, robbing banks give spawned money, sitting AFK at high end waiting for ads request to come in gives spawned money, selling a fish to the dropoff gives spawned money. Of all these ways money is brought in, I don't think the amount of money I get from 2 fishes worth of work is an issue. How much is the total amount of money brought in by government factions (MD, PD, Mechanics, etc etc). These people are putting close to no risk of losing money due to their activities and yet, they're the most paid. Comes also the money drains, the raw costs of importing supplies for stores, fuel, clothes, ticket/fines. Government factions members are so rewarded for their work, you barely never see any of them out of their job. Economy is inflating I can't deny it, but it's not coming from those receiving a 500$ pay each hour that they'll have to spend on food or gas either way.
  17. I strongly disagree, this only enforces this "hive mindset", that inhibits the server's gang ecosystem. There is a problem when a gang that is litterally a week new decides their main area of activities falls right inbounds on one of the only turf we had expanded to. That this same gang also happens to be "in good terms" with our ennemies with little to no diplomacy besides buying guns from them which, mind you, will be put to use against us because they also appear to have a strong hate towards us for whatever reason. There's also a problem, when you're minding your own, trying put the work into your gang's RP but then get rushed in by 40 people from 5 different gangs, most of them you don't even know, just because they can. There should be some sort of conflict I'm fairly certain, but what I've seen from our recent experience, it's been constant days and nights of uneeded and unnecessary "conflicts" which never bring anything to diplomacy nor RP. There's this constant fear of being reported anytime you engage on your ennemy which just displays how far this conflict now had turned into an OOC war. Unfortunately flooding the forums with reports that are petty, most times driven by vengeance.
  18. Attempting to get a slack off the current hostilities Jean's been witnessing for the past couple of days, he tried to think of a way he could help the Little Seoul and Strawberry chinese community during this cold and harsh winter time. Landlords, which have already been profiting off the mass influx of new people, figured winter was a time at which they could ask for higher prices for their rent as no one can endure sleeping in the snow and the freezing temperatures that accompanies it. Added to that, the ramping price of fuel, which eventually led to higher electricity prices as a whole... Leading to some families litterally not having enough revenues to feed themselves during this... holiday season, which most of the city had been enjoying. It would only make sense for FSO to provide food to the chinese people in desperate need. Jean took his boat off the marina and drove towards the high seas, where he could expect to catch much bigger and healthier fishes that weren't affected by the cities pollution. Altough, a few miles in, he crossed ways with a little yellow submarine-type of vehicle that just stopped and steered towards Jean's boat as he saw him. Jean released the throttle, wondering why such of a strange looking vehicle would sail his way in his direction. To his utmost surpise, a man of familiar attire reached out of the cabin and quickly hopped into Jean's boat. "Take me to the island!" Out of confusion, Jean let the man take the wheel and drive up further and further on the seas until a big chunk of land could be seen at the distance. "That's it! We're here!" "Wow, how was I not aware of this place!?" Jean expressed himself, as the man navigated closer and closer to the beach. Totally forgetting about what his main goal was, Jean started to explore the island with Darragh, which altough being deserted, was surely filled with life at some point. Vegetation was of the likes he had never seen and the water was so clear, the fishes could be seen swimming. He took this opportunity to take out his fishing rod and capture a few of these exotics fishes, whilst his friend was running around surveying every corner of the island. Proud of his haul, Jean called it off and both men sailed back towards Los Santos, fulfilled with their experience, already looking forward to get back to the island. Now having fresh exotic fishes on hand, Jean got straight back to The Noodle House, where he would then start preparing sushis. Having 22 boxes of sushi ready to be delivered, he went off and bought some letters, in which he would write a little note, directed to chinese community of the local area. Once the Rebla was packed up with sushis and letters, Jean drove towards Strawberry, where the less fortunate families have settled due to the lower rent prices. Having done his good deed in Strawberry, Jean was stopped by a white 9F and a rather unpleasant conversation ensued... The little satisfation Jean had from delivering the sushis was quickly shattered and replaced by a strong feeling of anxiety and stress, as a criminal organisation was forming around the area... "This is the new OTF block bro." With his waves of thoughts battling each other in his mind, Jean proceeded to drive towards Little Seoul to deliver some more sushis. As he was making his way into the area, a man could be seen, with barely any clothes on, gesturing towards Jean's Rebla. Wondering for the man's health, Jean stopped... "Man! I need to buy some clothes... I'm freezing!" His name was Rocco. Rocco asked Jean a ride and along the way to the clothing store Jean gave him a couple of tips on how to get around the city and get to make a few connections. Altough, Rocco quickly got interested in Jean's attitude and started to ask too many things about Jean's business and the organisation he was a part of. Brushing off each and every questions as much as he could, without mentionning anything that could potentially incriminate Jean. He still gave him a quick rundown of who was FSO and shown the man the location of The Noodle House and described the areas where which, most of the... "delivery business" was ensued. As the man was out of the vehicle, shopping for some clothes. Jean slid a box of sushi, along with one of the notes he wrote on the back seat. Coming back to the car with a straight face, a warm smile was quickly drawn on the man's lips as he noticed the box and the letter. Jean went ahead and explained to the man that he was delivering some food to the less fortunate people and that he still had to run through Little Seoul. With eyes wide open, his passenger enthusiam was quickly shown, so Jean figured Rocco could stay with him for a little while... Having successfully delivered the remaining packages. Jean had to take Rocco back to his job. After this hard day of work, Jean could sleep on both hears knowing a small portion of the chinese population of Los Santos had something to put under their teeth during this holiday season. "It's not much, but we're here for them..."
