  1. +1 people don't understand this has far more to do with CPU load than GPU load. I got one of the most powerful GPUs that has been released lately and as soon as I get these trees are out my FOV, I get a bump of sometimes over a hundred FPS. Overall it can be great for immersion, altough 350 feet tall trees kinda breaks it for me... but I think people with lower spec'd computer will be forced off the server because it litterally makes it unplayable for them.
  2. Aren't you actively trying to buy one on the forum advertisements? -1 for me... Besides securing yourself a car out of pure desire, because you cannot drive it, what else would that bring to the server? One thing I would like to see more often is super/rare cars auctions. People that have those cars (including supers) have either contributed to the server in it's earlier phases or have worked very hard to get their hands on one. It's a prestige to have such a car and most people that possesses one treat it as such.
  3. I went to DCC once and I got harrassed for stamps, does not recommend. You're lucky you didn't have that much troubles.
  4. This story is so tense, it always keeps me on edge for the next part to come.

  6. Of all other ways money is spawned into the server, I don't think the 500$ I get per hour that allows me to afford one burger is something to be worried about. How much salary is spawned out of legal jobs? I would be interested to know. Do the figures you brought in cover the amount that is loss in taxes? Or is it just the raw 1000$ before tax? Selling drugs gives spawned money, robbing stores gives spawned money, robbing banks give spawned money, sitting AFK at high end waiting for ads request to come in gives spawned money, selling a fish to the dropoff gives spawned money.
  7. I strongly disagree, this only enforces this "hive mindset", that inhibits the server's gang ecosystem. There is a problem when a gang that is litterally a week new decides their main area of activities falls right inbounds on one of the only turf we had expanded to. That this same gang also happens to be "in good terms" with our ennemies with little to no diplomacy besides buying guns from them which, mind you, will be put to use against us because they also appear to have a strong hate towards us for whatever reason. There's also a problem, when you're minding your ow
  8. Attempting to get a slack off the current hostilities Jean's been witnessing for the past couple of days, he tried to think of a way he could help the Little Seoul and Strawberry chinese community during this cold and harsh winter time. Landlords, which have already been profiting off the mass influx of new people, figured winter was a time at which they could ask for higher prices for their rent as no one can endure sleeping in the snow and the freezing temperatures that accompanies it. Added to that, the ramping price of fuel, which eventually led to higher electricity prices as a
  9. I've been part of numerous robberies and never have I seen a situation anywhere close to what you are describing. Crims are using drags to easily get away and that's fair play to them. When you have LSPD with over 150 members + SD with close to 70, you want to get away as fast as possible because there will be 15 cruisers ready and waiting just to get on the chase. CCTV is giving an unfair advantage and yes, PD doesn't sit at MR or SD waiting for a robbery to happen. But when one does happen, they are out there behind the screen. I don't feel a law enforceme
  10. This is not fair indeed, and it's the way criminals get treated on the daily. As for your situation, they escalated the shit out of it just to find a reason to search your vehicle (which shouldn't have happened). Why they do it? Just because they can and there's no one to stop them. Wearing a mask in winter? Hey that's illegal, let me search your entire car and stack the most charges I can on your ass. Never made any crime? Hell, you're still a criminal, you had a mask, 1 marijuana and leftover meat that has no purpose on the server anymore. This could have a been hand
  11. Jean's been catching up with a longtime friend and member of FSO at the Noodle House. Even tho they have parted ways numerous times, these two always seemed to find themselves back on the same road... time after time. As he was about to wrap up with him, Jean got asked if he would come to the high command tea. He answered with a vivid "Yes!", noting the time at which the event was due and drove back to his house to refresh himself. "High command tea? Will I have the chance to pay myself a little treat?" With a smile drawn on his face, he pulled back into the noodle house, lookin
  12. Jean just woke up, proceeding to go through his daily routine.. Wake up, pick up the phone, check messages, freshen up his face and hop in his car. He was driving to The Noodle House, where he usually find it's relatives around. But today was a different day... No one could be seen around the restaurant so he proceeded to drive to the pier where he knows he can always find someone to chat with. As he was passing in front of the skatepark, he saw an unusual amount of cars around the area. The typically quiet park was blooming with energy as it was filled with people and bikes h

My side of the story, I see a man running. I hence approach him to know what he's up to. He is seen holding a knife in his hand and tells me to put my hands up, seeing the proximity at which I was and seeing the person had a ((new player)) tag, I figured I could give him some content instead of just pulling my gun out and shoot. I complied for a bit, curious of what he would do... At this point he never roleplayed holding the knife anywhere close to my body or any vital parts of it. He tells me to DROP my gun, realisticly, I need to pick up the gun in my hand to put it on the gr
  14. A new beginning Jean had great hopes his path was clear and open within the Triads, months had passed, sacrifices were made and the once reputable businessman became an acquaintance of the known criminal scums of the city. Has he tought his reputation was building up inside the group, one day, what seemed to be a regular meeting for Jean turned out to be what felt like a hundred blades stabbing thru his back. "Jean, we don't see you often, we will have to bench you" are the words that came out Bruce Wong's mouth... At this very moment, Jean felt like his whole world was shatt

  18. Have a static station at the PD office that would let you search player's name by ID. This wouldn't remove the whole system, but would help in reducing the metagaming risk associated with the MDC in it's current state. +1 This change would only bring a deeper layer of roleplay.
  19. Enough has been learned from this interaction already, I will not continue this report. Thank you!
  20. Are you looking for hardtop as well?
  21. Added entrance footage from my POV when you come in over the bridge. At this very point I was looking down, trying to place my car. At around 6 seconds, you can barely see your headlights popping out the back of the house if you pay reeeeally good attention. I legit thought you came out from nowhere around the back. The bad timing made us both understand the scenario a whole lot differently.
  22. Looking back at the video I never saw you in my back. My POV : I was trying to park the car in a way that would protect me if a shootout was to go down. I took the gun out to check if it was a proper cover, not paying attention behind me. Hence the confusion. Thank you for providing your input, I better understand the actions taken now that I had a good look at my evidence which happened to be a strange chain of events that led to this situation.
