Did you even read my response. That was already addressed in a reply

Well thats why the cameras should be placed in specific locations Known to the PD only. That way THEY can narrow it down. Cause obv if there are more violations on the car, they are most likely taking a route that has more cameras. One way to get around the "Oh it was stolen" card is to say "Well why didn't you report it stolen then?". If they don't have a report for a stolen vehicle, then they take full responsibility of the car and its violations.
-
Well it wouldn't go into the PD chat, it would to into their MDC. Something new could be coded to have like "Active BOLOs" or "Speed Camera Report" And then they would see a list of the Make/Models and License Plates of the vehicles who were speeding through the cameras. It would keep track of the JUST the vehicle and how many times it was caught speeding by a camera. For Example, once they opened that in their MDC, it would show like: #1 BallerLE / L156K35 / 20 Violations #2 Comet Retro / K362D35 / 3 Violations etc. That way, cops could prioritize a sting on a vehicle who has like 20+ Speeding Violations Detected on it or something.

Since they are going to be added, the only thing I can do is offer suggestions on how I think they can be properly implemented without being stupidly broken: I don't think the player should be auto charged when the car exceeds 130 or 70 automatically, no matter where they are. That is severely broken and Passive Powergaming Via PD if players got automatically ticketed by their speedometer and not an actual speed camera. Even still... this brings up the issue of: "What if my car is stolen and the criminal speeds?" This could EASILY be abused by criminals by just constantly running through the speed cams in the stolen car, racking up AUTOMATED tickets for the other player, even though the player had NO control over that (Powergaming). 1. Place them at intersections around Government Buildings, and NCZs. (Bank, TeqLaLa, Gas Stations, Finance Buildings, Weazel, DCC, PD, MD. The Water station on the freeway North of the racetrack, ETC.) That way they would be Designated Speed Camera Spots and would send a notification to the PD if someone passed it going over 70/130kmh. 2. The speed Cameras shouldn't automatically ticket people based on the car, (Per the reason above), but instead alert the PD. Kind of like the Store Alarms. That way PD could set up a Speed Trap, and correctly radar, and ticket players by doing a Two-Point Speed Trap: One cop Radars the Car, the other Cop(s) ahead setup a roadblock at a choke point to stop the vehicle and/or traffic, to correctly catch, ID, and ticket the speeding player. (aka actual tactics). 3. Make a Mobile Speed Camera that PD can Deploy on the side of the road, Just how they can deploy road blocks. Those speed cameras would radar the speed of the players passing, alert the Officer who placed it down, with the Make/Model and License Plate of the Vehicle, giving them the ability to set up down the road and get ready to sting the suspect. 4. Once the cameras detect the same make/model and license plate of a vehicle violating the speed multiple times(IE: 5 times), they would put out an automatic BOLO (ATL) on the vehicle with the number of times they have sped through a speeding camera (BUT NOT TICKETING THEM). A way to kinda of keep track of that via the MDC would be to have the vehicles themselves have a record on them, rather than it reading the players record. I don't think Automatic Ticketing Speed Cameras would be a good addition to the server, as it is Passive Powergaming, could be abused by criminals, doesn't create RP, and could have a negative response from the players (which bring life to the server). I think the suggestions above would be a more proper way of implementing the speed cameras, keeping the player base happy, AND creating RP (Which is why we are here in the first place). Thank you for taking the time to read this.

+1 ONLY IF you switch out the .50 cal pistol for a pump shot gun. As they aren't that powerful at long range, and are legally able to be owned in the US by civilians.
-
+1 There should be no cap...
-
Idk why people aren't commenting on this more...it's an issue.

A bank shouldnt be a ncz neither should a place where people gamble. The only reason they are NCZs is because people complained enough and they became one. Whats next, is LSC going to be a NCZ? Are the farms and piers going to be NCZ? Like I said, the only NCZ that makes sense is the PD.
-
+1 If the fight or conflict happens outside of a NCZ it shouldnt matter where they run. That is METAGAMING if you run to a NCZ cause your CHARACTER doesnt know that, YOU do... The only place where they could run to that would make sense is the PD...that's it... Like who in real life would run to a bank to avoid getting robbed.... No one...

Hello, This has been an idea that has been kinda floating around but hasn't been really acted upon, so I figured I would suggest it here for the staff and players alike to see. ROLES: 1. Create RP Events within the city. 2. Provide Devs with ideas on systems to help improve the RP of the server. 3. Actively encourage people to create their own RP experiences within the game. (As a lot of people don't know how to) 4. Answer RP related questions that players may have. 5. Make sure the RP events are lively, and have multiple participating parties involved. Requirements: 1. Must have experience creating RP (Like being a Dungeon Master for example). 2. Has a vivid imagination and can translate it well into the RP Event. 3. Has a more expanded knowledge of RP and how to apply/create it. 4. Friendly and Open Minded to all types of RP. 5. Willingness to Create RP events Weekly/Daily (whichever) I'm sure there could be more added to this, but this would be the skeleton of the position. The Creator would have Admin Rights to kick people if they broke RP during the RP events, that way it encourages people to stay in character and stay immersed. The RP events could be something as simple as Taco Tuesday at Teq La La. Have someone RP as the Bartender and have hostesses provide tacos to the guests at the doors. Promoting Poker and Slots, etc. And range to something nuts like a Rally Cross race through the mountains and city, and have cops positioned at specific locations to create that rush of possibly getting caught. (Similar to the Gumball 3000 in the USA). IMO, it's little things like this that can make the server amazing. Most people stop playing because they get burnt out or bored of the same old RP over and over again, this would be the job of the RP Coordinator/Creator to try and prevent the "Burnout" from happening by creating exciting, engaging, and unique RP experiences for the players to enjoy. Anyways, I can expand on this further if need be, but this was the idea in a nutshell and the skeleton of the rank itself. I personally think it would make a great addition to the server and staff. Thanks for Reading, Varro Dalison

+1 Could be cool...but i never let my fuel get below 50% anyways...

Complaining, they are literally abusing the fact that it's a NCZ to log off and not pay for parking. And Mechs wont come and tow....otherwise this post wouldn't be here...

Now that the salaries have been modified, I would love to see this added for management to more accurately manage our treasury.

This is still needed.

Yeah...with only 28 people online...and not one here...

http://prntscr.com/kszeut Look at this abuse, not 1 person here

Honestly, like i said in a different post, some people have better RP skills than others. Some dont know how to RP as a crime boss or whatever so they emulate what they see commonly on tv or something, a thug robbing people. There have been some gangs that their RP is fucking scary and really good, and there are others where its "HAND UP THIS IS ROB" and thats it. Gotta learn to adapt to it. As a taxi driver, I get robbed at least 3-4 times a day IF I'm not really paying attention. However, you can tell who is going to rob you, and who isnt. they usually linger around for as second, making sure the coast is clear, and then rob you. If you get a gut feeling that something is off, usually your gut feeling is right. Leave the area and dont get robbed. Or call the police ASAP and say there is a suspicious man lingering around the pier or whatever. Just gotta learn how to adapt and avoid them.

I used to RP as a Public Defender on another server. It was fun defending Criminals
-
so many -1s rofl. Looks like they abuse the NCZ
-
if it breaks the rules, report them. Other than that, not much you can do. Everyone has different Roleplaying skills, some better than others, just gotta learn to deal with it.

This isnt IRL...its a game, that we all RP on. If you dont wana get robbed at the pier, dont be at the pier.
