I did simplify the process a bit im my message. Apologies for that. But I meant after they had planned it. As in. PD sees guns being stashed. They request a warrant and get that process finished and then raid. Didn't mean to make it look like PD can just see the house /Ram and go to work. Poorly worded on my part.

I'm sorry, but the worse thing I've heard on the forum so far over the last 7 years. Is the almost 8 years old economy, being compared with the name remembering system. As if you forgetting someone's name is equal to losing 7 years of assets.

I'm kind of split on this one. On one hand. LEO's already have access to "break open" a safe, but with the use of staff assistance. I find this ridiculous. I get that's it's needed since there is no script way to do it. But it leaves Crims fully left out of the same cake. Imagen this. A gang sees their rival gang transport a shipment of guns and ammo to a stash house. They know now. It's all there. They got RP motivation and reason to full on raid that property. They wait around. The next day, see someone with a key to the door and pushes in. They get inside but darn. That guy with the key is a low ranking member and only has keys to enter the property, but not the codes to the safes. If this was PD, they call staff and "blow open" the safes and take all of it. I'm all for PD a government entity to have this power. But gangs should also have this ability but slower, with a drill for example. PD having an instant way to open it. While criminals having to "lockpick" the safe with a drill. That could be like 120 seconds to 300 seconds per safe. On the other hand. Random House raids with little to no escalating would be the meta if this were to be added. Yes you could report it. But I think the forum is filled with enough reports as it is. Shouldn't add more reasons to report poor RP era.

Entire re-work of farming & cooking and supply chains

It's already been suggested before directly to the founder. Still think this is an amazing idea. Don't hurt to try and get it done again. But as @Quietthecutiesaid. These jobs are mostly just here to give players money untill they join a legal or crim faction with money. Honestly. A really wasted potential to not expand on them more. -

Make body armor visible while in your inventory.
inorigj replied to HobGoblin's topic in Game Suggestions
I fail to see the logic here. I don't understand how you can compare a weapon on your hip to a bulletproof vest on your chest. a gun on your hip isn't hurting or threating anyone a vest on your chest SHOULD be protecting you. its a very basic concept. live I've said before. If its to be shown it should NOT be on your chest. hanging on your back. carried in your hand like a suitcase/bag whatever, but not shown on your chest as if you're wearing protection. because, you're not. this is elementary school logic we're disguising in here. what is going on???? I'm sorry to be getting this rude but come on, this is getting ridicules. yes, @alexalex303 has a point when he say that you shouldn't be able to pull a second health bar from your pockets. but it shouldn't show on your person AS IF you're currently having an extended health bar if you're not. Visual que sure. but not ON YOUR CHEST, its not that hard to understand the logic of this -
I don't even think the devs remember that you can eat fish. When they added the hobo stove. They forgot to add fish as an item you can cook on it. And yes, they did forget it. It wasn't an intentional decision. But I 100% think fish should give more hunger points then just like 0.5%. maby keep it to 1 bite per fish, but up the amount of Hunger points. Not by a lot. But like 5% of your total hunger

ok let me blow your mind, you can't pull out the gun yes, because its not equipped. but do you know where your gun is when not equipped? your pockets, and not your hands. because its not equipped. just like the bodyarmor. its not on your chest. if its not equipped. if they added the flat bodyarmor model to your character somewhere, to show that you've got it with you, but not ON you. thats a huge +1. but it SHOULDN'T by any means, be on your chest. This would fix it BUT, what if you're carrying several vests? would that person suddenly have a HUGE healthbar? -
I agree that it would help. But there is no way I to moderate it. And I don't think it would be possible with the current door script. As they are tied to factions

What rule exactly are they breaking by doing this?

inorigj replied to HobGoblin's topic in Game Suggestions
Yes, that's my point exactly. You don't seem to understand that you just spoke against your own point. You can only use your gun when equipped and pulled out. At that point. I'll see it in your hands. If I see it I'm your hands. I know you got it equipped. If I see you with a vest on. I know you've got it equipped. If they made it so the vest is visible. But NOT covering your chest. It's a different story. The entire thing here. Is that if the armour APPEARS to be protecting you. It SHOULD be protecting you. Not just LOOK like it is protecting you. A super important thing in a PVP "perfective" is visual ques. If you're protected by the Kevlar. We should see it. If you're NOT protected by it. We should see that as well. Not wonder if that kevlar is in your pocket or ON you -

If we were to show all PVP items on our person at all times. Equiped or not. Then we've ruined SO much RP for crime players. I hope I don't need to remind you. It's an RP server and not a PVP server. We show guns on our person to balance the power of them. As at one point. You could pull up on someone and suddenly hold a fully loaded AK on your hands from no where. That's it. I've never heard the complaint "that guy pulled bodyarmor out of his ass" Because comparing a weapon to protecting from weapons is not realistic. Makes no sense, sorry. And I was comparing it to fishing rods to shutdown the argument "you wouldn't be able to hide it" before anyone made it -
Make body armor visible while in your inventory.
inorigj replied to HobGoblin's topic in Game Suggestions
Yes. It extends your healthbar But you left out the critical part where. It does ONLY extend your health when EQUIPPED. Having it show while not extending your healthbar is counter produktive and is feeding the Enemy false information. If i see someone with bodyarmor. I expect them to take more hits. But if they aren't actually wearing it in their armour slot. It's just visual for no reason. It should only be visible when affecting the user. To advertise to others that "I have more health then normal right now" -

-1 Bodyarmor is applied like clothes. And just like clothes, do not show on your person unless worn. It would also appear as If you're under it's protection if it showed without actually being used. Making it very odd visual wise. 'its big and wouldn't fit in your pocket" Ah yes fit in my pocket together with my fishing rod. Or my speaker. Or my oil drum. Yes I know it applies an effect to the player that helps you resist damage. But the amount of damage that the vest blocks is close to NON. Far from enough to make it worth advertising that you carry one without having it on your chest. -

This has been suggested many times. This server does lot support that tech. It's very focused on keeping the mechanic shops active to keep employees with work

License suspension and how they could improve
inorigj replied to EimaTrG's topic in Game Suggestions
ok I've been reading this post since it was first made. but this is the first thing I can fully agree with. I know the suspend script is hard coded to the minimum of 24 hours. as they don't type in 24. they type 1 as it goes by days. I think the minimum shouldn't be 24 hours. I think lowering it to pick hours instead of days. so that something like a demerit suspension could be 12 hours or less, while suspensions from some arrests get higher once. -
It's kind of like a Civilian Taser type thing. with the "new" action timer. since you're form 2019 and that wasn't a thing back then. the tackle can be used to interrupt actions, such as lockpicking and carrying. It can also be used to take out people aiming a gun at someone, like if you see your friend being held at gunpoint by a crim or a cop. you can try and sneak up and tackle them. freeing your friend from FearRP lock. allowing you to make more counter play using skill instead of just out gunning them. YES, its mostly used to mess around. but the positive aspects of it outweigh the negatives if used correctly. Your text chat still works while tackled, yes it interrupts animations. but pressing T and typing out a text isn't an animation, so you're free to type that out. unless something changed in that regard while I was on LOA

inorigj replied to EimaTrG's topic in Game Suggestions
Last time I checked. They don't stack. They "refresh" if you had a 24 hours suspension. And 4 hours had passed. You don't end up with 44 hours. You're back at 24. Unless they manually type a higher number then 1
