+1 The amount of times I've had to re-edit a uniform because it removes peoples beards and such. would help so much. You've missed the ENTIRE point of the Suggestions forums if this is your view on things like this. Just because something is posted and +1ed on the forum don't mean that it will be the next update or even added at all. it simply shows the devs/staff what the player's would like.

please yes + more boat use

Can be range wise. if the player gets to far away from the Detaining officer and or a police station. like if you're within 50-100 meters of the officer who cuffed you. then it will tell you "You've escaped custody and are no longer considered detained" and an officer could have the option pop up in chat. "you've moved to far away from PLAYER ID, they're no longer in your custody. did they escape?" and they can simply select yes or no and a UI menu that pops up like the U menu Could also make it possible to transfer who is the "detaining officer" lets say a normal Patrol officer is transporting a 15 to the station for a detective. the Arresting officer could then transfer the custody of the 15 to the detective. making the detective's range count instead.

yes, if you have music turned on in the settings. you can make the in-game radio turn on. and everyone in the car that also has music turned on will hear that you're changing the radio station and hear the music
-
The wheel is still "in the game" and "on the server" it just hidden using scripts disabling the hotkey you can still access it in the ESC menu with radio settings. It was "hidden" because of copyright music. Streamers were making a big fuss about it a long time ago during the streamer golden age.

I know there has been a few suggestions on this topic, but I think i'd throw my hand in to the game as well. My idea is another Fake License suggestion. with some takes and functions that I haven't seen in other posts. Suggestion idea Firstly my suggestion is to turn your license/badges in to an item. Secondly, Add 3 new slots in the inventory. These slots would be used to hold your license and badges (Up to 2 badges at once) If you have a Gov faction job such as PD or MD. you can go to your locker "your clock in and out location" and use the /fl menu to obtain a new badge or get your badge for the first time after being hired. In terms of your license. You get a new license from the DMV just like license plates. Fake License/Badge Now to the Fake license parts. Low to mid Tier Criminal Factions should be able to import Fake License presses and supplies such as Inc tank, Card cutters and such. and have them work like the old drug tables did. where you place them down like furniture. They could then sell fake licenses to Randoms or other gangs for profit. Higher Tier Criminal Factions could also be able to Import a Badge forging station. where they can create a badge of their choosing and then sell it to others or use it themselves. How it could work When at a License press, you'd have ink and an empty license card templet in your inventory. And after you press "use" on the table you get the following options. [Name] [License 1] [License 2] [Firearms Licence] [Authorized Weapons: Weapon 1, Weapon 2, Weapon 3.] [Revoked] [License 4] Leaving 1 of the licenses empty will make it not show up when finished crafting the license. Writing "Revoked" as your "Weapon 1" will make the firearms license show as Revoked instead of showing "Authorized Weapons" The License will automatically Format itself to look legit after you print it. making it appear like: [Walking Licence] If you wrote "Walking" as your license. Example: [john doe] [Driver] [Swimming] [Firearms Licence] [Authorized Weapons: Minigun, Combat MG.] [Be this Handsome] JOHN_DOE LICENCES: [Driver Licence] [Swimming Licence] [Firearms Licence] [Authorized Weapons: Minigun, Combat MG] [Be This Handsome Licence] When using the Badge forger, you'd get the following options. [Badge, Worker ID] [Department] [Name] [Division] [Rank] Example: [Badge] [Los Santos Police Department] [John Doe] [Office of the Chief of Police (D)] [Chief of Police] BADGE OF JOHN DOE: LOS SANTOS POLICE DEPARTMENT Division: Office of the Chief of Police (D). Rank: Chief of Police.

Hey! So, I'm not 100% sure how this will be taken, but eh. My suggestion is to make it possible to Scavenge wrecked vehicles for parts. You could find vehicle chop parts / tools / etc Such as Parts: Wheel (Random vehicle) 40% Chance | 70% Chance inside Scrapyard Bonnet (Random Vehicle) 40% Chance | 70% Chance inside Scrapyard Trunk (Random Vehicle) 40% Chance | 70% Chance inside Scrapyard Door (Random Vehicle) 40% Chance | 70% Chance inside Scrapyard Engine (Random Vehicle) 5% Chance | 15% Chance inside Scrapyard High Value vehicle part 5% Chance Medium Value Vehicle part 30% Chance Low Value Vehicle part 80% Chance Item: Repair kit (Random Durability) 3% Chance | 15% Chance inside Scrapyard Carjack 1% Chance | 5% Chance inside Scrapyard Furniture: blowtorch 10% Chance | 20% Chance inside Scrapyard Carjack 10% Chance | 20% Chance inside Scrapyard tool box 10% Chance | 20% Chance inside Scrapyard Weapon: Hammer 1% Chance | 5% Chance inside Scrapyard Wrench 1% Chance | 5% Chance inside Scrapyard Crowbar 1% Chance | 5% Chance inside Scrapyard Every scrap vehicle around the map could be Scavenged. With every vehicle inside the Scrapyard having a higher chance with the downside of being illegal. Having a set % of having LEO's called on you for Scavenging there. [DISPATCH] *** [LAW] 911 Call from Security Guard at the Scrapyard. /resp(ondcall) 1 to respond. [DISPATCH] *** Situation: We've got some looters here at the Scrapyard who are trespassing. Details: Scavenging: 30 seconds Cooldown: 15 min (Cooldown on the vehicle you just Scavenged) Gloves: If you Scavenge without gloves you have a 60% chance of cutting yourself, dealing 10% damage Gloves: Gloves have a 40% chance of taking damage each time you Scavenge. Gloves under 20% durability has a 10% chance of failing to prevent damage. Gloves under 5% durability will do nothing to protect you. Visual Examples

There are groups of players who do keep their wellness low, but I wouldn't class them as "crim" Its the Parking lot trolls that simply loot cars that have just been un-parked and start random fights for no reason. They keep their wellness low to die before PD can arrest them for it, so they can respawn at pillbox and run back down to legion after going afk for 30min.

Ahh I see what you mean. I assume my post with a lot of text a few posts up had to much text and you didn't read it. I also assume you haven't asked what some vehicles cost to import. And how much they make per vehicle with their CURRENT tax+import. This logic here is flawed. why would they up the pay to truckers when they end up losing money on the product. lets use Warreners for example. A warrener imports for 8k. and transport with trucking is 1k making the Warrener 9k. if you then sell the warrener for example. like Motorsports. for 9.5k After tax that's $300 profit for 1 warrener. And if you ask me. that's stupid. do I think stores, gas station and dealerships should get a rework to make them less of a IDLE money maker. yea. I do, its ridicules how its a AFK money maker, but at the same time. its made to make money. Personally If I made $300 for a warrener. I wouldn't sell warreners. I'd up the price. And that's before paying more to the truckers. And again. that's what we should try to avoid. Inflation is real yeah. but we have a vehicle cap. No matter the amount of money you have. you can't buy 1000 Warreners. Cheap vehicles should stay cheap for the people who CAN'T afford a ton of cars. case and point, new players. I'm far from the only person who's been here for 8 years now, so I'm not 100% sure if you're referring to me. As I'm not gaining anything from this being changed. only reason I know this issue is a thing is because I was talking with MarcoD and Lewis and we noticed that there is a crap ton of Player orders dating back months. Where Lewis ended up telling MarcoD to start posting weazel ads about trucking needing orders completed. But I'm getting off topic. The core of this post is about that NPC orders take priority over Player orders. And player Orders weren't a problem before NPC once came in and became more enticing. Do people think business owners should pay them more? hell yea they do. the amount of Unions and Protests they've had ICly about it is countless at this point, but that's the same for almost any Freelance job.
-
Why they're not putting more then 1 vehicle per order. I don't know, I don't own a dealership.
-
Last time I checked. you can load more then 1 vehicle at the time. Unless this was changed
-
Sort of yes, but this goes deeper then "it's ic bro" as this also effects new players. something we should try to avoid. up the price on already expensive things 100%. but dealing with this as ic. is a bad idea. A Script change caused this issue. A script solution is needed. on some products such as mid to high value vehicles and items. 100% but on low value vehicles and items. basically everything $150-$30k. no? that would be silly. They're supposed to make money on selling things. kind of the entire shtick with a "business" If they pay truckers more for low value items. The low value items go up in price due to import cost+tax being added on top of it. who gets hurt by this? The dealership/store owner? Nope, they'll just adjust the prices to match. The truckers? No, They'll just do NPC Orders instead. Your everyday player? Yeah, kind of. unless they grind money instead of RP'ing (RP'ing anything else then a GOV job) New players? 100% Making it easier to get started and get a foot hold for new players should be a priority as a community. Your thinking makes sense. if it wasn't for the fact that basically 95% of the current players. only do stuff for money. and with truckers having NPC Orders to grind instead. As that pays more compared to Player Orders, then why should they care?
-
VERY true. This is a screenshot I took doing a Motorsport order. So frustrating, not worth 1k
-
for a while now. since the update to trucking most people simply do the NPC orders for trucking. as its shorter, making the "pay for the time spent" way more worth it. People accuse players who made the player order of being responsible for this (I don't own a job that can order, so I'm not one of them) but, even though yes, they control the money you earn from those tasks. they're keeping the pay low, to keep the price of the product they sell low. I think the best way to resolve this. is to make use of the new "bonus" system that trucking has. Where you should get a flat bonus on top of the task reward for taking Player orders. That way, they can still earn money of their products, Fuel, items, cars etc. And, truckers gets paid a fair amount for doing a Player's order instead of a NPC order. I think that Player orders should be more tempting then NPC orders. and Player orders actually affects the player base unlike the NPC once that's just there to grind money and xp.

Don't require GPS item in inventory (if phone is on)
inorigj replied to Ash's topic in Game Suggestions
+1, BUT. Make it an app you can toggle on and off. and make it drain power faster then if you have the map off. not a lot, but enough that you feel it. Gives the phone charges more uses. I haven't had to use mine in months. -
This comment is off topic based on the Suggestion's topic, but is a response to a comment in the thread! Even though I fully 100% agree with you that PVP gangs are... well. No comment. The way labs, drugs, turfs and money making is for criminals. Its by design, (intentional or not) made to make gangs PVP. If you don't want to PVP. I'm sorry, its stupid, very stupid. but, don't go to labs. does not matter if staff or the devs say that labs aren't made for this purpose. because. that might be true. It wasn't made for this, but its what it has evolved to. I don't go to labs for this very reason. I cannot be asked to get in to a shootout or lose everything I was grinding for. As a crim I go make money/drugs to then use that to create player interactions across the map, but most of the time. all the money I made, goes in to re-obtaining my resources to cook AGAIN. or to rebuy what I lost getting robbed or killed in a lab.

-1 for full removal +1 for bringing back the War/Neutral/Alliance system that factions used to have back in 2017-2018 and make it so that you can assist another gang, no questions asked if they're a scripted Ally within F4. #Sidenote, FM could keep track of faction activity and see if what they're doing is worth such an alliance and reach out directly to those factions HC in the FM discord channel every gang has. where they can justify it directly to FM.

Yeah has been several suggestions on this same topic over the years. its clearly wanted by the community +1
