  1. Hello, My suggestion is to add a command that will make it so that your flare gun can make a distress call to MD to prevent this from ruining the flare gun for people who use it for events. it would not trigger a medical 911 call unless a command is done first /emflare To prevent accidental use of it. if you don't shoot a flare within 30 seconds of using the command. the next flare will be a normal flare to use the command you need to hold a flaregun in your hands and the next flare you then shoot. will send out a 911 call to MD ### New edit Could also make it so that if you have a loaded flare gun on your person and you get injured, you could run the command /emflare and it will automatically shoot a flare 90 degrees up from you and make the call to MD ####### [Dispatch]* * * [MED] 911 call from passer-by at LOCATION HERE /resp(ondcall) 1 to respond * * * [Dispatch]* * * Situation: I can see a flare in the distance, someone might be in distress. * * * the /emflare command could have a 5min or 10min cooldown so it wouldn't be spammed. And instead of giving a exact location of the person who shot the flare. it could show up like an area. where the person who shot it will be inside of
  2. I can't speak on the "consistently" matter, as I'm not in a gang like that, and don't do Crime at PD, but I see the issue there
  3. After re-readig my post I can see how it does not fit in there. So I'm deleting that part of it
  4. I do how ever fully agree that this is non-sense and shouldn't be a thing, but punishing players that's NOT treating LEO players this way. isn't the solution to the problem.ockquote widget
  5. @SquirtleSquad I don't mean to be rude to you here, but you missed my entire argument from what I can see.
  6. +1 Anything that instantly gives other players feedback to what is going on is always a plus. I know we got /do and /amy and /my but sometimes a group of people are around and only 20% of the people notice your details and stay there confused about what is going on. thinking everything is just fine. having this showing for a while would let people know. making detailed RP more realistic. This would be very useful specially after something such as a vehicle accident or a shootout. You could of course do /analysewounds on the player and see they have been shot. But unless you're PD/SD/MD/DOC, the use of this command isn't that common. leaving people often in the dark about what others just experienced.
  7. I've got to say -1 to this one. 1 Thing I used to dislike back when NCZ's was a thing was the amount of people "crims, civs and LEO's" that ran to NCZ's to avoid situations. It most of the time ends with a group of people piling up at the location, ether if its Bank or MRPD. and all of them will be in /pm or /b complaining about how they can't run to a NCZ because they committed a crime, and its against NCZ rules to flee to a NCZ when you yourself did a crime. And back then the same argument was used FOR removal of NCZs Or how its unfair that just because they crossed a DAMN intersection they can no longer shoot/block/melee or assault them. The defence of NCZ's make no sense what so ever. specially with the arguments that's used for it. Yes. all of these are "valid" arguments to why its NRP to do crime there. but what about LSC? what about THE GOD DAMN HIGHWAY. what about the shopping centre? why not the pier? why isn't the entire block around City hall a NCZ? why isn't every sidewalk along the busiest road in the city a NCZ? the arguments used in the defence for all of the NCZ's could be used for A LOT of locations ALL AROUND the map. if we're to go by this NCZ logic that people want. the only place that WOULDN'T be a NCZ. is Chiliad and Sandy. "just report the player abusing the NCZ" And the same defence for the removal can be used as for having it. NCZ's frustrated a ton of people. and just like a NRPing player at the new "no NCZ" locations. reporting them will not un-frustrate the players involved. the players that lost due to the NRP will be pissed and or frustrated because they were done dirty. The players that did the NRP will be worried and on edge for 1 to 2 days, possibly lose interest in playing in anticipation of a staff punishment from a forum report the only difference is. NCZs was a cheep way out for the rule breakers. You could run there. die and wouldn't lose anything. as NCZ's prevented the loss of items upon death within the NCZ border. I'd also like to point out that comments such as this regarding the communities members is totally un-called for. Just because their RP isn't your type of RP does not mean that they are wrong and should be treated as "bad RP". RP comes in a lot of different styles. and if we all RP'ed as stand up citizens then ECRP would be a horribly boring place to be. ECPR has a lot of unique and fun characters within it. And simply calling their RP a "quirky personality" and go as far as saying they should stay away from a part of the map because YOU don't like it, to the point where you want a SERVER RULE to be put in place to keep them away from you. that's very disrespectful.
  8. I think any MED/LAW faction players, who is on duty should be able to pick up blockades placed by other MED/LAW faction players. with a timer yes. like a 3 second timer.
  9. +1, This also benefits civilian companies and Gov factions. where important notifications can be shared in a group. Such as DOC's Status board. or LSC's ban list and such
  10. If you go to first person you can almost see 90 degrees up. Not FULLY but close. It's how I see that they are above me.
  11. Hey, so this is a very minor suggestion and it basically only affects PD, SD and MD. When PD/SD/MD rolls up on a scene where there is injured people they always RP getting a BLS or ALS bag from the vehicle. my suggestion is simply to add the Medical bag furniture item to the /blockade command to place down a BLS/ALS bag next to the person on the ground. with something like /blockade bls
  12. I believed that would come in as an obvious thing but as people might misunderstand things I added that to the post
  13. Hey. My suggestion is for a fully re-work of the /stabilize and /CPR system Adding stuff like Gauze, Bandages, Plaster, Saline, Splints and so on to the game, These items could be purchased at the Hospital store that at the moment only sells painkillers. Adding more Hospital/medical related items for it to sell. MD would be given these in their /FL letting them pull out all the stuff they need for their field treatments and Civilians could buy them from the store inside pillbox where you currently can only buy painkillers With this rework you cannot rush CPR or Stabilize anyone as you'd need to apply the required medical equipment first. Lets say someone has been eject from their car. The server would detect that as "player ran over Player" making them technically ran over. the server could automatically make it so if a player has been detected ran over by a car. they'd have a broken bone so lets say you do /cpr on this person, It would instead of extending their health. show a popup in the chat PLAYER (1) Has untreated injuries and requires treatment Splint (0/1) and after getting a splint and applying it. you could then do /cpr again and it would work like normal and add health to them extending their life or add another command like /checktreatment ID and it would then show Splint (1/1) or if they aren't injured and you run that command it simply prints back This player does not require any treatments! And to keep the requirement for BLS license. If you try to use any of these items on a injured person you'd get the error You lack the required training to use this equipment! For gun shots the real difference between /stabilize and /cpr would show if you'd do /cpr on a person with GSW it could show like Bandage (0/1) Gauze (0/1) But for the /stabilize command a medic / LEO would use. it would print back more requirements as this would be a more in-depth treatment Saline (0/1) Gauze (0/5) Depending on the amount of GSW's Bandage (0/3) This would prevent the rushing of /CPR abusing it and would make /stabilize not action timer dependant but dependant on how quick the medic/LEO can work to apply them. Using /me's and /do's to apply them. EDIT# Applying anything could also take use of the Action timer allowing Medics to abandon the treatment mid treatment unlike /stabilize. that often forces medics in to the CPR animation up to 4 times even after trying to cancel it. This would allow criminals to try and delay treatment of their enemies by forcing the medic to stop and duck for cover, unlike /stabilize that will keep going even after a medic has left the body and gone behind their ambulance.
  14. I've got to be honest and take SubD's side here. I don't think it makes any logical sense what so ever that a GOV job should pay anywhere close and SPIECALLY not less. then a Freelance job. Freelance jobs are on the server to simply fill the street and assist new players with obtaining money to get going. Jobs such as Mechanic, LEO or Medic are jobs that require legit OOC effort such as filling out applications. forms and following rules and guidelines. Most People on ECRP are here for the money grind making it very hard for GOV jobs to tempt any of them in to pick GOV jobs as a grind method. The few RP oriented players on the server don't really care about the money so that isn't an issue, but on a server with SUCH a damaged and unbalanced Economy. giving less money isn't going to fix it. It will simply discourage the current starting players from grinding in it as they know they'll never amount to what they want due to the low incomes.
  15. Hey, so my suggest is basically this every /anim for exercise is removed and turned in to commands and equipment pullup could be Equipment only so you need to stand by 1 and press E on it Push ups could be removed and replaced with a simple /pushup command, to make it affect your character instead of just being an animation This change would not affect people who don't want to interact with it. People who don't take time to do any exercise will keep a 50% stamina at all times. The stamina could decay 5% every 3 days that you're not active on the server lowering you down under 50%. The less Stamina % you got. the faster you get tired and need to breath before you can sprint again. doing stuff like push ups and pullups will slowly up your % 1 by 1 every 1min or so. Every % above 50% will decay every 24 hours. dropping down 5% every day until you're back down to 50% 50% will be the same that we currently have on the server making it so that people who dont want to take part of this RP will not need to do anything to keep their running and activates around. This implementation would give Crims a way to try and get a upper hand on others in a very simple way of just out running them. Could also be a way for PD/SD/DOC implement exercise days and stuff to keep their people in shape.
  16. Yeah I agree with that. Could also simply add health to them and have vehicles kill them upon impact
  17. Hello, So this suggestion is in regards to adding cones as a buyable and place able item for anyone. They could be a stackable item as cones stack irl. they could have a Vol of 2 and when placed they could have the ui option "pick up" on them. Anyone would be able to pick them up but they would have a 15 second action timer. Could be used for events such as car meets and street races and so on.
  18. This is amazing. not needed. but would make things WAY easier. Fking love it
