  1. +1 being able to "See the broken door" or "Damage done to the door" is insanely unrealistic if you've ever picked a lock before (Which is what you do to break into houses) you would know damaging the door doesn't happen unless you fuck it up. You already have a consequence for that. Additionally I believe all it does allowing other players to see it or use it in game is feeding the poor RP players in the server. If you can just go around checking doors like that (which again is highly unrealistic) it makes a huge issue for a lot of solo players.

  3. I believe taking money, or suspending licenses for OOC actions is a terrible way to punish poor RP. While I agree there are plenty of examples of poor RP on the server, we ought to think what punishment fits the crime. If someone had poor RP and drove their 10F up Chilly, do I think they should lose their money? Or get their license suspended despite the fact they were never caught by law enforcement? No, because why would they? Those are IC consequences. This is why we have admin jail, and Bans. To touch on: "..Even though we won't be issuing any punishments, keep in mind that both sides of this report showed poor roleplay in this situation.." I agree it shows a great deal of mercy, however we shouldn't always be pushed to punish players. First and foremost what we need to do is educate them and let them know what they did was wrong, because at the end of the day there is no way for us to know for certain if they understood what they did was wrong at the time. A lot of our rules have sections that state exact examples are hard to come across, because realistically if we were to list off the different ways someone could break "Non-RP" we'd be writing a novel in our rules section. We trust that each and every player will look at decision they make and use their best judgement to decide whether or not it breaks a rule. I guarantee you will almost never see a player commit 2 of the same rule breaks without receiving a punishment atleast one of those times. While I appreciate your attempt at trying to rectify a known issue within the community, it should be viewed from a wider lens than simply issuing more punishments.
  4. ^ This is why. And while I do understand this, a lot of the stuff moved to U menu and removed as a command, some stuff makes it a little irritating like changing your radio binds has become a lot more of a hassle. By no means is it a "Major" issue, I would just prefer that the community is given a lot more insight onto these kinds of things to avoid a lot of frustrations.

Thank you for your suggestion. As mentioned before by Yputi, this is a duplicate suggestion, we will be linking it to another and archiving this for continued consideration.

  8. Additionally maybe Legal factions get access to other furniture to spice up their Company building's exterior/interiors. I know the furniture store has some cool stuff but theres plenty of furniture that isnt accessible that would be really cool to have for legals
  9. Now I don't play too many legal factions ive only ever been in two, but if we're talking businesses, a lot of the time big businesses have company owned cars so I suggest: Every tier up a Legal faction gets access to a summonable company car (Icly the company pays for it) you could start really basic, like a simple 4 door. Tier 1 - regular shafter Tier 3 - Limo And then by Tier 4 or 5 you could get vehicles with your business's logo on it.

  11. -1 This statement right here promotes poor RP. ultimately when you go to get in your car, if someone is trying to get into their car, another player can simply camp your vehicle to search it, or get in while youre right next to it. Crims can bait DM rights, Legals without a gun are powerless to do anything.
  12. I like the idea but the problem is, tint isn't something you can just remove so easily. Stuff like colored headlights are illegal on vehicles but thats easily helped with commands like /xenons. If you're driving a vehicle in the day time with a full tint youre getting pulled over instantly. You have to pay to get it removed, and its unrealistic to have a command like /tint. Its a good idea though.
  13. Massive +1 I feel like this would do a lot for the community especially demotivate players that play for the fights aswell because I agree its insanely unrealistic for a gun bigger than a .50 to fit inside the glovebox of a bike
  14. -1 personally. Even if your reasoning was ample enough to increase the price, all that would do would create a vacuum for a new vehicle to take its place or give crims that own a kamacho a chance to get something better. I dont think its a bad thing that its readily available. It's not unhealthy for the server in anyway that I can see. On the point of I dont exactly understand this point. There are many irl stats that point to a car being very common to own such as the Honda Accord which I believe is one of the most commonly owned cars. I don't exactly see how thats any different. Obviously theres gonna be more Kamachos a good majority of the player base is crims.
  15. -1 While I understand where this is coming from. It also kind of feels like it promotes BM and bad RP. When someone is being punished by a group the first thing they usually do is shave them and take a picture. Thats all well and good, but to prevent the player from rply grabbing a wig, or simply wanting their hair back feels a little toxic. Objectively allowing the player to get a new set of hair does nothing in the way of RP and fights. If your true intention is to embarrass a gang leader or any individual for that matter, there are other ways you can do it.
  16. I like the idea but as others have said before there comes a couple of problems with it. Unfortunately there is a pocket of space for a very certain type of player in ECRP that doesnt like to RP and only likes to fight, and thus those people would likely have some sort of Meta, or graphics mod, to be able to overcome the use of the item regardless. I do however, think a "Gag" Item would be good. A skill check once the gag is applied to resist, and once failed you are unable to speak in VOIP and Textchat (aside from using /b and faction chat respectively) I understand it wouldnt be all that useful in game but in RP I think it would make things interesting personally.
  17. I understand your point. I dont necessarily disagree with you. LEO's already have the advantage in a whole slew of other ways, I just feel this would cause a lot of discourse. Perhaps maybe a rule implemented to make it so LEO's cannot reapply bodyarmor after losing a vest would be better? either way I still think its a good suggestion.
  18. Semi +1. I like the idea but the execution has to be done carefully otherwise Bennys Bayview, and LSC are useless. Perhaps make it more expensive, and make it to where it only allows your vehicle to be functional so you can get it to a repair shop instead of giving your vehicle a full repair.
  19. Someone ( I believe its Chunder ) has a list of things they wanted/want added to DOC. I think more jobs you can do for stamps would be good aswell. Some form of Dish cleaning, aswell as a (Semi controversial) idea I had where you add a workbench to specifically DOC where if you collect metal from mining and scrap (from trash maybe?) and you can craft a shiv. This way you can have a way to defend yourself aswell as stage a breakout (In cases where alt RP perms are given) This could also add an in-game economy to Prison as is in real life things are traded for stamps. You could do this with other stuff as well, just items that are exclusive to either in DOC grind that some other prisoners don't have the time for.
  20. +1 I think this would even the playing field aswell, I think it also adds a level of realism as strapping on a vest is not instantaneous. However, I think if this were to be applied to LEOs I would have to presume it would be added to crim aswell.
  21. I can see how this would be upsetting for LEOs but kind of exciting as a crim icl
