Popular Post Rukicake Posted November 2, 2020 Popular Post Report Share Posted November 2, 2020 So recently there has been alot of key community members, fisherman, doc guards, cops ,shooters and basically civil roleplayers out of no where is getting caught in a ban wave and a lot of these people were either banned just because their pc had a hack for another game or they didnt hack at all and prolly ban for clearly installing some mod. And when the community questions the staff what proof the admins got they would just reply with the : "the anti cheat system detected " line. We all know that eclipse roleplay has a better anti cheat system than microsoft , valve or Rockstar games . So basically the individual zez was banned for speaking bad about the server without proof but i find this funny since you ban players without hacking proof and just because your anti cheat detects it. But just because your AC detected you should not ban us like nothing. We spent our blood,time ,efforts and most importantly donated to keep the server and community strong and not only that but people like me and niko streams the server and bring in playerbase to the community and as a respect back to the players as owners of the server @NBDY @Osvaldon hear us out. But Hack bans should be perm and the player should not be allowed to even appeal only if proven. I personally suggest these steps taken for that before someone of hacking on your server: a hacking investigation team where only senior admins + has access to and they will fill in the forms. 1) Lets say player Ruki cake has been detected for hacking/unautharized software. So basically Nbdy or a Senior admin + makes a thread/file against Ruki on the hacking investigations thread and flag him with suspicious hacks where only admins are able to see. 2)The admins will be aware of the situation and of the specific individual hacking and they will start speccing the individual from time to time and if any fishy activity happens they record the situation and post it on the thread rukis hacking file which only Senior admins+ can see. they will review the evidence and if there is 2+ videos of blantant hacking the ban should be issued. 3) On the appeal if the player doesnt not accept the fact he hacked and asks evidence, you slap with them with evidence and extend the ban for an extra 4months. This is what i thought all of yesterday, Right now whats happening in ban appeals is accept the fact your hacking or your not getting unbanned and of ballinbynature copy pasting the same reply on 40 odd appeals forcing people to accept something they did do/didnt do. I might be banned for even speaking up but as a community to grow you should listen to your players too. I would love to hear from what needs to be added to this suggestion or what needs to be removed from the community. Kindly i ask you to dont take your ic beef/toxicity with me on this thread. It should be very clear that this is a bug in the AC system if this many players are being banned in such a short period of time. Marlon Posted November 2, 2020 Report Share Posted November 2, 2020 +1 I've definitely seen lots of the people banned and it doesn't make sense they've posted in many reports and you can see in their evidence and defense that there was no case in cheating. And even when they appeal the same question is asked have you ever injected cheats into your GTA V. RAGE MP anti cheats client side should only detect what is happening on the client not what is occurring in your game files it doesn't make sense and seems a bit suspicious. If they were cheating and it came up on an insta anti-cheat I believe it shouldn't be an insta ban because anti cheats have bugs but, it should be a hint to just keep an eye on the person. However when an actual hacker comes along, there are usually a bunch of in-game reports of this (I have seen this myself)... In that case it's only natural to ban them. Why will everyone waste their alot of hours/days/months/years putting effort to their eclipse characters and end up using cheats. Serious Action Requested. Not only that but from the 4 people I know that had this happen to them, the "software" that they are using is not disclosed by the staff. Whatever had changed recently in the anti cheat etc is clearly a mistake, I don’t know why you are going to ignore an issue of a community who fuels the server. There is CLEARLY SOMETHING AT FAULT. I too feel the need to +1 this post. While I don't personally know the details of all of this, I can at the very least agree that appeals for these sort of situations should be looked at with more care, consideration, and investigation.
